I received really bad service; they called me a fraudulent person because they are unaware of the money restrictions in my country. Ignorance is not an excuse for accusing someone of committing a crime.

Anytime my husband and I try using this Moneytree for check cashing services it’s just a waste of time! The only reason we even tried is because the one in Mt Vernon closed at 5pm. So my husband gets off work at 6pm, we hurry to Everett (they close at 8pm), only to be told, ‘sorry but we won’t cash the check without talking to the bank first’ Excuse me, but don’t you think if the bank was open I would definitely save myself the outrageously expensive check cashing fee that you charge and go cash it for free? And all the other Moneytree branches we’ve dealt with calls the person who wrote the check to get clearance for cashing it. Come on now, and yet anytime we use the Marysville branch or ours in Mt Vernon we never have any issues whatsoever. Needless to say we won’t be returning to this branch and I’ll be sure to let everyone we know to steer clear of this one. Waste of time, waste of gas, waste of space!

I have been a customer for over 10 years have made the trek before in the last four years on a Sunday from Shoreline to Everett to deposit my checks. Today I tried to deposit my lottery check for $1000. Your employee wouldn’t cash it because she couldn’t verify it!! I had more money on my card than the amount of the check. It was just too bad was her attitude and just saying to me they’re closed, and they’ll be open Tuesday. Wow, is every customer a suspected thief now with you guys? It used to not be like this with you guys. You were the only ones that would bank with me when I was going through my bankruptcy, doing far better now, have an American Express card that’s how Good, but I still bank with you guys for a convenience, and also remembering you were the only people that would bank with me during that difficult time I was going through! That will end now you’re even taking money from me when I withdraw my own money now! I wrongly have said to myself, I can live with that, but today was totally uncalled for! I’m sure y’all have your justifications, but all I can tell you is not everybody’s a thief! I’ve never had one bad check in over 10 years. I’ve been a good customer. That obviously means nothing to you. I blame you not the employee she was just following your procedure.

I called that #, they had NO idea what I was talking about. Went to another Money Tree today, they cashed that check and a personal check, niether required a phone call for verification! Last time I ever patronize your Money Tree!

After searching high and low to get a paper check cashed (because I only have online bank accounts and needed a small portion of the funds right away) I tried this location. HUMBERTO immediately greeted me with a warm smile. He quickly determined that they could cash my check. He answered my questions and sent me on my way. Good, friendly service.

I frequent this location to get money orders for monthly payments etc. they’ve always been super helpful, nice and professional! I hate to have to deduct one star based on one persons attitude, maybe it was just a bad day for her! But “Flor” came off very cold and rude throughout my entire transaction. Very unpleasant experience. I get people sometimes have an off day. But it’s customer service. Sometimes you have to learn to turn that smile on even when you don’t want to and separate your personal life from work.

Ariel provides outstanding customer service. I think I’m going to drive farther than my closest branch just to get this individual as my application-CSR since his attitude and professionalism is, tbh, off the charts. (This man deserves a raise) 100/100

Its good but I stopped getting loans a long time ago. Infact I found out that I still owed them like almost 500 dollars which sucks, but Im glad I was informed otherwise I wouldnt have started making payments on it. Did it help with my credit score?

Went there to cash a check but it got denied because one of the woman with blonde hair teller told me that it was altered item. I was very confused and I only signed the back and she complained that I altered the name and date which that is a big lie because my boss personally did my check with 2 pens cause one was out of ink. If she didnt want to help me she couldve told me earlier and not totally wasted my time. Go to other money tree to save your time instead.

Ive been cashing all my checks for years there im an independent contractor landscaping Aerating and Dethatching. I dont care much for banks and Moneytree has been convienent for cashing checks and used to be open till 11 pm. The staff there is Awesome there are new smiley faces behind the glass but i miss the old timers who left. I requested a printout of all my transactions which took about 3 minutes. 60k why do tellers wear masks behind glass seems ridiculous hope they are getting paid extra for first responder equipment.

Went to cash a personal check for 400.00 teller verified funds where available in my account. Then went to back room came out 10 minutes later and stated they were not cashing personal checks due to COVID19. Filed a complaint since I have been a Money Tree customer since 1999 and never defaulted on a loan or bounced a check. Received a return call from Money Tree stating trying to cash a 400 check was to high of a amount. If this is how they are going to treat they long time repeat customers it is time for me to take my business else where.horrible customer service.

We had a great, fast experience here..Marta helped us. She was very nice & quick. First time Ive ever had a good experience at one of these..SO THANK U SO MUCH MARTA! the only thing I would complain about that has nothing to do with Marta is they should charge. Little less to cash tax return checks..places like Fred Meyer dont even charge $10 but here we were charged $75 all together. We were in a hurry so we just did it. But just seems like alot compared to their competitors. Thank you again Marta. U were great.

The other day when I was at Moneytree, I had a very pleasant experience with Tranace. She was very informational,and her customer service was fantastic. Such a pleasant gal! I definitely will return,and Tranace will be my go to girl!

I used to admire the customer service I always was given. Now a days, it is a big ol phat thumbs down. In particular one of the agents by the name Tereance or some shhh. Shes the one with the awkward eyebrows. She always is rude, always has 2 have the last say in every single thing and doesnt remain professional. I could list specifically several times where I said to myself why in the hell i choose 2 stop here AGAIN. Its a joke. I can honestly say It takes one bad experience amd you tell 100 people. Well now I will tell anyone who llistens bout how shes treated not only me and not jus as a one time fluke, its every single time until someone does something bout her unprofessionalism, and sarcasm I will only go there as a last resort. Which wont b very often.

Its a good place to get money orders or payday loans its a little bit on the expensive side to cash checks here but very convenient if you dont have a checking account. This specific location is open later than most money trees and are also open on Saturdays and Sundays. This store is usually quick they have lots of employees working so they are good at getting you in and out and having a minimal line.
