The drive thru at this location wasnt busy, there was only 1 car in front of us, and it was late afternoon on Friday 10/18/24. The wait to get a deposit done was over 40 minutes and I didnt even need cash back. It looked like the tellers werent doing anything but fooling around being disorganized. But this really isnt the only time theyve been slow. Nonetheless, thats way too long a wait for no line. What the heck?

I have been with this bank for four years now and I would like to say the staff are very professional apart form the experience I had today ..I dont like the way you go to que for customer service and a staff came toas what I would like help with shouting for the whole bank to here and he said that I could just do it online..you should be mindful because when one chooses to come to get the service at the branch the are in their right mind and they have their own reasons. I explained I needed to talk to somebody since there was a teller who had advised me to come but he dismissed me. The idea of you coming to me and shouting my business there is disrespectful not everyone who likes their stuff for public furthermore am your bank details and what accounts you have should be confidential

5.2.24 Now that Ive used this bank system for a bit. All I can say is its completely inconvenient. I have to sign up for wire transfers, cant do a lot of things through the app, half the time the check deposit doesnt work and I have to go to an atm. And for some reason becu takes days longer for things to show up or get approved. I honestly might go back to chase. Sure they screwed up my cards twice. But I had more assesibility amd flexibility to my own money. Ya get two stars because I guess you technically function. Emillio was wonderful, he solved my issues quickly and helped me out with problems that were from work. Definitely recommend him

BECU has various options of banking from single individuals and seniors to a muligenerational families BECU ensures your essential business is taken care of. The tellers, customer services, and the drive-through banking employees put the BECU customer first. They are outstanding with excellent customer. The main branch location has a convenient handicapped entrance and plentiful disabled parking. Beautiful Christmas decor!

I was initially in to ask a question about 2 factor authentication and he was quick to help and even got my credit limit raised among other things. Super thorough and straightforward. We had a terrible experience in this branch. I would not recommend BECU to anyone. My father passed away and he had a LOC open. I went in to pay it off (as his son). I didn t want any personal info. Mom gave me his account number and asked for me to pay it off. The teller and the manager (happy to share names to management ) were less than helpful. Required mom to be there to deposit a check into the account. I had to leave to go get her (not close) but brought her in anyway. They literally had her in tears. We didn t want to close it. Just pay it down to 0. That wasn t an option. What?? No on le could explain to us why. Not even the manager. She just said the system won t let you pay it to 0. When we said ok then close it. There was a fee to do so. WhT ?? This was a widow and son trying to clean up dads outstanding debts. She paid on time every month. Never late. Ended up costing her nearly $1500 to close it when the monthly interest was only $600. No one could explain. This was really bad. We would love to escalate this as my mom feels she was taken advantage of.

Zero stars if I could give such a rating. ABSOLUTE THIEVES. They charge more fees than Bank or America or Wells Fargo, including in some instances overdraft charges on declined debit charges they do NOT pay, that didnt overdraft anything. They LIE about this and call it industry standard as if stealing customer money is ever justified if it is considered standard by a corrupt industry. Dump BECU and get a overdraft fee free account with Chime or other similar online banks. If enough consumers dump BECU they will go out of business and all banking customers will be better off for it.

They dont honor appointments. I have made multiple trips to try and perform basic account modifications and I cant get in to see anyone. It also took multiple trips for them not honoring appointments when I wanted a home loan. Credit score of 800, its like they dont want money and couldnt care less about customers.

I have banked with BECU for 20 years, I appreciate this small town local bank. This location is especially frustrating. I have never been able to get in and wait less than 45 minutes to see someone. This has been consistent for years, doesn t seem like they are interested in reducing this wait time for their customers. Its hard for working folks to visit during the week. When I do finally see someone they are always very helpful.

I had a terrific and empathetic customer experience at becy while helping 101 and 93 years old parents. Bank teller specialists Connie and Darien were beyond expectations as they closed their stations to come and help us out in the waiting area! Member consultant Cindy Linh provided the most friendly, expert and supportive help - even though the request was to close out the account they have had since 1976. This was terrific 5-star customer service and made me wish I could become a becu member.

I have been a member of BECU since 1983. 1. I have purchased 7 homes, BECU did not finance any of them. Even when I had more money in the bank then the value of the home I wanted to purchase. I was told, I could go gamble my money away in one night.. 2. When I was joint on my daughters accounts and she started going sideways, I went in person and had myself removed from her accounts. They only removed me from one of her accounts. I got stuck with her mess. I paid it. 3. For the 3rd party data breach BECU had, they hired another 3rd party to take the phone calls. The 3rd party BECU hired to take the calls had no information and could not answer any questions. 4. BECU does not accept the legal court documents signed by the Judge/Commissioner for trusts and power of attorney. They require you to fill out their documents, a painful and onerous experience. 5. I have multiple power of attorneys with BECU. It is hit and miss if they can find them in their system. Sometimes they put the information on my account, sometimes they put the information on the persons account I am POA for. I shouldnt have to carry the originals with me after they are recorded with the financial institution. 6. The VISA rewards program changed entirely without notice. All history has been lost. 7. You cant get a person on the phone after hours, ever. 8. BECU limits your ATM withdrawals if you dont call. You cant call, because they dont answer the phone. 9. I had a 0 balance on my VISA and a high limit. I went to pay for new teeth. My card was declined. 10. I went to BECU and closed five accounts including my VISA, its no good to me if I cant use it. 11. Please note that BECU has not changed their canned answer in years, they dont care, They continually say, Im sorry., and dont change or adapt.

I use this location primarily to withdraw money using the drive-thru teller feature. At this point, I have gone through 10+ times. They have always been nothing but kind, understanding and patient with me. The first time I went I had no clue what I was doing and a representative at the information desk inside, gave me a step by step walk through on everything. She was extremely professional and answered all my questions. Each time I ve communicated with a representative on the video chat in the drive-thru, they have also given that same level of customer service. Wonderful bank that hires great people! Highly recommend this bank if you are looking for a company that genuinely cares about you and your money needs, instead of charging crazy fees left and right.

Only branch nearby where I can deposit my checks and have them available immediately. This is the 2nd time Ive been here 20-30 minutes before the lobby ours claim to end only to find out they decided to close early for no reason. If you list your lobby hours till 6 pm then the lobby should be open until 6, now youre just screwing up peoples plans for their money so great job.

Not recommend open business account with BECU, it s make business even difficult with all poorly designed apps and system. BECU have divided account into personal & business, personal looks nice, but business account is disaster, the BECU Business App can not even categorize expense, the business account ID has been excluded by PayPal( only accept personal BECU id) . The Business App is not less-than-ideal , is literally less-than-Normal, hope the tech team could be serious about this!!

At the drive thru windows there is a cashier who has repeatedly been very rude and does not want to make the payments as we need, today because I do not speak my English well does not mean that they want to do what they want with me, if I need them to be made two receipts for my car payment, I dont see it being a problem if other cashiers have never done it, but this person is really being very rude, he should be more subtle when dealing with people who only want to make their payments. After being a customer in good standing for many years, BECU caused my savings account to go negative from 2 NSF charges to my checking account. Then they suddenly closed my checking, savings and Visa CC accounts. This caused a huge problem when my Direct Deposit from the Social Security Admin had no account to be deposited into, so my monthly SSA payment was returned, and I could not pay my bills or buy groceries etc. When I attempted to pay off the accounts, they told me BECU would not accept payment over the phone! Since my local branch has no teller services, I had to drive over 25 miles to deposit the pay-off funds. I am so glad I am finally done with this train wreck BECU caused.

I have been to this Branch a few times since its one of the only ones that you can do everything you need to do. The customer service has been good, other than one tell her I dealt with in the past. I didnt want to take too many pictures as its a bank, and Im not sure how they would feel about me taking pictures inside. Lol! Overall I like the bank and will always come here if needed.

I have an auto loan through BECU which was originally sourced through an auto dealership. Setting up auto pay for this account has been the worst banking experience I have ever had. They have multiple pages of forms to setup autopay through an external account. I have no interest in keeping an account at BECU because their interest rates are terrible. I have called multiple times and been to the branch office to get things worked out and am still getting late fees and penalties to my account because they set it up so that money arrived in my account *after* they bill my account. In affect their autopay is auto-penalty, and this is after I went into their branch office to make sure everything was setup correct!

I on the 1800 # that a branch manager could release a hold, so I drove to the Everett branch. The Everett branch has no personal touch and a cold feel. The hand off of information between the teller and the branch manager was cold and off putting. I had to ask to talk with the branch manger Marsha who is not a banker that looks out for its members and it felt like she lied to me. I would have given the branch multiple stars because its clean and bright with lots of parking, but will never go to this branch again. I was going to refinance my car loan and now will be moving my business and personal accounts. Long hold time if you need to call in.

Look out for Isaac Fritz , member consultant at the front desk at this center. If you are being served by him, get ready for an outstanding experience that will make one less worry for you. He is respectful, great listener, genuine helper, knowledgeable, & a solution seeker. He offered me the notarize service which I was unaware about BECU. He saved me from the hassle to get copies of my documents from the library too. His service made me feel valued of a being a BECU member. I have never used BECU for any other service than banking. Most dont do more than they get paid for. He went extra mile. With proper care in times of my need, I felt pleased to be part of BECU since 2006. If you meet Isaac or someone like him dont forget to sent kudos to these representatives who do those Little Things That Matter and keep us going with that business. This location is always crowded service is good but the bank s online service in general provides a poor customer experience. They locked my account and wanted me to go to the bank in person to get it resolve (2nd time this happens) I don t know what year a opened my account I can t get access to online banking because they lock it and they could not provide any other method of verification so I had to spend 2 hours of my day to do this. Just went to the website and customer support site is down... Update: 06/18/2020. Service has not improve pretty long waiting time for help and I dont know why their system is soo slow. Did a wire transfer the same day from 2 different banks to close on an important sale and the other bank clear the payment and transfer early in the morning, BECU still has not processed it putting at risk my purchase. If you expect service on your account choose another bank.

Had to cash a check from a friend and the drive thru turned me away? Not a member.... lobby was packed (check issuer is a member). No one practicing social distance... seriously BECU needs to amend their practices! I will not be using BECU for anything moving forward! Appalling that they force you inside! I got a loan for a private party sale on a car and BECU has been unethical about the timing on getting me the required documents by a certain date. They held on to the title of the vehicle then told me that it s my fault that I wasn t able to register it within the three months and now they want to bring my APR to 9%. All this was out of my hands and I waited for them to send me the title but had never received it. Might have to switch banks after this incident. My trust is lost with this bank.

Its extremely large and the line goes quickly because they have so many teller windows and actually every one of them was open. Usually when I go to a normal Bank one third of the teller windows are open and the line takes forever. Also everyone I dealt with was very friendly.

After 30 years pulled my credit card because my credit score temporarily dropped over a default on a loan I cosigned on with out asking me about it or knowing how much money I had in the bank. I found this very unprofessional.

After waiting for a half hour for a person to answer the phone, I was finally able to get a response to the fraudulent activity on my account. I still have to go in to the branch to finalize the stop against the illegal charges on my account. Hopefully this will be resolved.

They re always so nice and helpful. They also have a drive thru which is nice. The employees are awesome and one time I lost my social security card here and they got it back to me safely. 5 stars.

They were amazing in helping me out with fraud issues on my bank accounts. William, one of their member specialists, was extremely helpful in explaining all the processes they were doing to help me and was friendly the whole time. Definitely glad to be banking with such an awesome Credit Union!

I can t do the two transactions needed online, so came to the branch and there is a 40 minute wait to even SEE the customer service rep!! Not enough actual branches, far too few employees. In the last several years I ve come to dread going to a branch, as wait times are longer and longer. They ve oversold their memberships.

Ive been banking here for almost 10 years. I got my first secured loan here to start building my credit years ago, then moremrecently got my first real credit card here and line of credit to help start my small business. I was amazed and very happy with what they offered me. A little over a year later my business has been booming and Im excited to purchase a new car Ive badly needed. Of course I turn to BECU who has been so great to me. Well, while I was able to start my business with the funding they provided, it was also my downfall to BECU as they declined me for a car loan because I dont have two years income (since my business is only a year and a half old) even though I make much more now than I did before. Im extremely disappointed, as being a member for so long and with multiple accounts I thought theyd be different than other lenders, plus theyve helped so much, I wanted to do more business with them. I moved to Eastern WA a couple years ago and stayed at BECU because theyve been so good. I dont know at this point though if its worth the hassle of not having a branch within 2.5 hours of me if they dont consider me any different than if I walked into different credit union, such as numerica, where I bank with my business locally. Theyre a great credit union, dont get me wrong, I just thought they were a little more on my side than the other guys.

Was happy with this CU. always treated me with respect as a human... Until I got scammed and then they treated me like a criminal and a number. Will end up closing my account since they arent willing to work with a member... really youre just a number and dollar amount attached to it.

I m kind of like Mojo Nixon the only banks I ve ever really liked are Ernie Banks and the banks of the Mississippi and Columbia Rivers. BECU has ALWAYS treated me right, and I will never go back to conventional banking again.

This location is the big one. A lot of reviews are about BECU itself not this location. This location is huge, theres a drive thru atm, theres an atm in another part of the parking lot, and 3-4 in an inside hallway that is open 24-7 so if there is a line at any of them you can just try the next one. If you have to go inside the people at the help desk, and the tellers, and the personal bankers at the desks are always very nice, professional, and helpful. BUT because this is the only bank with tellers for a large area it is BUSY. Just be prepared to wait and be patient. They have little games for kids and a nice little waiting area though. Great bank but really great location

I used to love BECU until my credit card was lost... BECU replaced my credit card and I thought everything was fine, however, I recently was told I had missed two payments and I could not figure out how this happened considering I haven t used my card in the past 2 months. Apparently I had a balance of $22.00 that I thought I had paid because under the online mobile app (the only thing I use) it kept showing my balance as paid in full . After going through all this mess I finally figured out that the new credit card number/account was filled in hidden accounts on my BECU app so I wasn t aware that I had any type of balance. Needless to say, thanks for messing up my credit score BECU, all over a $22.00 balance... UPDATE: 10/2/18 BECU did reach out to me and said they are working on a solution... (I guess I will wait and find out.)

Great place to bank especially if you travel the exchange rate on debit transactions is very low. Go somewhere else for a Home loan though the rates and down payment they wanted on a VA loan were terrible compared to 5 other banks.

The best credit union ever. No bs. This location is big and busy! The line is always 25 people long, or more, but bc they have so many tellers open at once (usually about 8) it moves quickly. Their customer service cannot be beat! Ive never had a negative experience here. Not once, not ever. All the staff is really well-trained, pleasant to deal with, and shows genuine concern for the customer. This location in particular is a major hub for all your banking, credit & lending needs. If you lose your card theyll print one here for you right away at the customer service desk. And theres a large bank of ATMs just inside the entry. 4 of them, I think. Right near the Coinstar Machine. The BECU Banking App is the best out right now! Its super user-friendly and operates seamlessly. Not only that, it includes tons of highly intuitive financial management tools. You can open a chat box to talk to a representative immediately anytime during business hours. Parking is free and more than adequate, although the lot does get congested at certain high traffic times. If you dont feel like going in they also offer drive-thru banking, running at least 4 addtl tellers at a time.

They charged me and my wife 7k cause my wife forgot to get full coverage on our boat. They didnt even call to tell her she messed up. They told her we need insurance on it. So she got it and messed up and didnt get full coverage. You think they would call and atleast ask her to fix it 1st. Nice becu. Im out

I ordered a new debit card because it was fraudulently used on March 23rd. It just came in the mail today. Dont you think two whole weeks to get a new debit card is a little excessive these days when I can order something as trivial as tissues and get them on my doorstep tomorrow? Anyway, consider reasonable shipping times for your debit cards in the future. As someone that lives in a county with no BECUs, it would be nicer if they would consider shorter lead times.

Great location and lots of parking. 4 Walking accessible ATMS that are 24/7 and 1 drive thru 24/7 ATM. It gets busy in the afternoons and takes you a bit to see a manager but they are helpful and all their stuff seem super happy. They dont push products to you. 10/10 Would recommend

Well if you have to deposit more than (5-6) $20 or $100 dollar bills go inside (to a human) as the ATM machine will sometimes not register the deposit. Then it will give you recipt saying To contact you banking instution. Up to you to prove that you deposited the cash. They almost dont belive the paper slip from ATM! Very bad, banking without envelopes! Wish the ATMs still used envelopes here.

The bank is clean, has a nice big parking lot. Theres a drive thru ATM and theres one in the parking lot too. Sometimes the lines get long though even inside. Its a great place though.
