Mil Hwy Superior Pawn Company #2

Came in to inquire about selling a fire arm. The older black woman with glasses was extremely rude in greeting me, seemed bothered I came in at all. After a few moments of browsing their over priced inventory, this woman this time yells across the store as if she was slammed busy (mind you there was only one other customer in the store) to the older white guy to help me, as if she was bothered I hadn’t left. This man yells at me to “go over there” and then vaguely pointed to a counter. He and the woman had no idea what my gun was, and it showed. After briefly searching a couple of “ebay gun sites” (I asked where they were checking, she wouldn’t tell me) they acted insulted that I brought it in. Will NEVER return, and will make sure to let friends family and colleagues know not to bother. Horrible attitudes, horrendous customer service.

The people here are always great, and while purchasing a pistol today it was the same. They are always helpful and courteous, couldn't ask for better customer service.

Yet another fantastic experience! So much knowledge and great customer service. The guys are awesome! The ladies are icing on the cake! Melissa and Alison are superb! Chelsea is an absolute delight! My experience was excellent 100% excellent I forgot her name but the black lady who helped me and my wife purchase a gun for each of us was a hundred percent helpful she was knowledgeable and she took her time to explain and educate me and my wife about our guns for about 20-30 minutes before we went through the process of purchasing our firearms. we left with 2 guns happy and educated and we felt good about the whole experience after leaving this particular store. the ladies at the other store on Little Creek could learn a lot about customer service from the lady at military highway store!! The little creek store could work on attitudes and customer service on phone and face to face!! I really recommend the military highway store great customer service!!

My husband and I came in to purchase a gun today and we had a wonderful experience. The gentleman who helped us, Curtis, was incredibly helpful, personable, and even took the time to teach me how to shoot comfortably and confidently. I left there a better marksman because of him. We will definitely be returning here and we will be recommending this place to any friends and family looking to buy a gun or shoot on a range.

Giving this place two stars only because of the vast selection of firearms they have. Their customer service is piss poor at best though. I went in looking for something specific and was told they didnt carry it. I browsed the selection anyway and found the pistol I had inquired about. There was two employees behind the counter and neither one seemed interested to make the sale. I had cash in hand and they missed out on easy money. Im not some hoodlum off the street looking to waste their time and Im very knowledgeable about guns. I went up the road to another shop and was treated like a person rather than a ghost. I even saved $100 because the pistol wasnt overpriced like it was at this location.

Ive been dealing with Superior pawn for about a year and a half.... I love these guys. I pawned with a couple other shops in Norfolk , but, my experience with them was horrible. A couple times I wasnt able to make my payment and was facing forfeiture, but, Josh stepped in, appreciated me as a valued customer, worked with me so I didnt lose my property... I really appreciate you guys and look forward to doing future business.

Every time I enter the store I am greeted as Im a preferred customer. They are very polite and very professional. Making the shopping and pawn experience very easy and smooth. Reasonable priced firearms and very knowledgeable help. The store is very clean. If I had to choose from every pawn shop or firearm shop in Hampton Roads this is where I would go.

Josh and his coworker where very knowlagable and had great customer service... my stuff was in there for months they had boxed it up put it straight in the back and when I came back for my stuff it was still in the same condition I left it... Would without a doubt recommend this place!!!

Got me these great binoculars and camera set I definitely needed much appreciation there. Service is just superb thanks for all the help. I ve been coming in and out for the past few years. They ve gotten new management and brokers that are very knowledgeable about the products they carry. My most recent transaction with the new manager (Josh) was a very smooth experience. I bought and hp laptop from them and returned it a few days later(not because of malfunction) because it wasn t up to the speed with my editing software. I ended up using that to put a nice deposit on a MacBook Pro. Josh would call for friendly reminders. Within less that 50 days I had my MacBook in hand. They have revamped the entire store. Better selections, better prices, Josh and his team did an amazing job fixing up the shop. I love it. I go in every time I get extra money lol!

On Halloween me and my mom decided to go to the pawn shop to see if we could find any Saw movies to watch that evening! The old dark haired lady is a thief and a lying cheat. Forget about this place if you are attempting to get a loan. i brought in a brand spanking new pistol that i paid $850 for as well as a newer style Martin Bone hunter bow. She would only give me $200 for a LOAN on the both when I was only asking for $260. This is not the first time the cheat tried to take advantage of my situation and I have never defaulted on a loan with them. I will NEVER come back and have purchased many things from them over 4 years as well as received loans from them in the past. That dumb lady running that circus now is gonna run that shop into the dirt.

I have been going to this place for the past year and never had a problem. Recently i had a loan on my ps3 (which was in perfect condition) and when i got home to connect it the Ps3 was not working. My ps3 would turn on but there would be a black screen. I called Ps3 customer support and turns out that my Ps3 is damaged and now I have to pay $100 to fix it. My PS3 worked perfectly fine when i brought it in to them(because they even check it themselves). Superior Pawn should be responsible for this but they wont take any responsibility. These people are crooks and i advise NO ONE to go there. These people broke my PS3 and will not admit it or even help me to fix it. ( NOB LOCATION SCREWED ME)
