Have been a customer for over a decade. Their features may not mimic your bigger corporate banks, but knowing that I bank locally and with my community is worth more to me. Some employees are friendlier than others, but that's to be expected. We all know that Chick-fil-A is the only spot in the world that the former is not a fact.
All in all UVA is a fantastic local credit union.

My mother went to the Pantops Location bank to make a deposit. She did not have my account number, but "make it easier for them to find my account next time" (this is what the teller told her) he decided it was okay to give her my account number. Luckily it was my mother, but they had no proof of this. Definitely switching banks.

UVA credit union fails business account members on multiple levels. 1) poor support for online banking 2) unable to apply payments to loans in timely fashion 3) untrusting bankers who soak members with unnecessary fees 4) poorly structure real-estate loan product that put your loan at risk of being pulled.

Everyone needs to be aware of the "cross collateral" clause hidden deep in the loan papers. I purchased a 2013 Jeep Wrangler and.paid off as agreed. Tried to get title and I can't get. I was told because I filed for bankruptcy due to medical issues and bills, that they have a right to pit a lein on an account I had to list. Its a dwad charged off account. Don't see how this EVER again with UVA credit union. s possible. Nv

This location is terrible and why finally after issues here and then what my fiancé went through last week was the final straw. Deposited a check for around $77k and trying to find out and getting cash from that has been a headache. The tellers give different dates and then when calling in one dates given just given a new date and then I’m not sure why but there’s major attitude when just trying to call and ask and arrange things . Worst customer service and will be closing this account for good and going elsewhere
