Unreasonable low ball offers on gold jewelry, when given a good asking price they will cut it down and stay firm instead of negotiating. Go to somewhere more honest than these guys.

Marie has been amazing to work with since day 1. My guitar was stolen around 10 or 11 years ago but never reported by me because it had to have been either a family member or a friend of one of my kids. I also was an artist rep and head of R&D for a custom shop guitar company and had over 100 guitars at the time so I never noticed it gone right away. I spent 10 years looking for another guitar like it and it showed up at Crown Pawn 10 or 11 years later. Now for the record, the individual who pawned it had nothing to do with the theft. I am in another state and it wasn t him. I called the pawn shop thinking it was one like mine but then the serial number matched mine along with a slight blemish on the guitar. I told Marie I simply wanted to buy the guitar back. Marie was outstanding to work with and made it possible. I received the guitar back a few days ago and it was kept in immaculate condition over the years. Marie also did one of the most professional packing jobs that there was and shipped it out the day the balance was paid in full. Crown Pawn will now have a customer for life from me! I am very grateful to them for all that they did and how easy they made the process be! Thank you Marie, and everyone at Crown Pawn.

Horrible experience. I personally don t believe all the reviews on here one bit, too many folks with just 1 review. Guy that helped seemed sincere and nice at first. Somehow quickly turned into an argument over something silly, he was ready to go the rounds arguing his point, that would ve been a waste of time, so I just walked out, found another nearby. Quick transaction in and out in 5 mins.

They are super predatory. They employ tactics are very manipulative and are well designed to make you feel more desperate and that your valuables aren t really that valuable. Luckily I was able to recognize what they were trying to do and leave without allowing them to steal from me. They did however waist many hours for 2 days telling me they needed approval from the owner who never seemed to be there when he said he would be. All the while telling they would do one thing and when he finally was there bait and switch. Which again was clearly a predatory move. I would never recommend going to crown pawn to anyone let alone people I actually care about for ANYTHING.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I went in with 15 minutes before closing, a very rude lady yelled at us as we walked in the door and told us they couldn t help us because they were closing. Sounds like she just didn t want to do her job. We will never do business with this terrible business again. Plenty of other respectable pawn shops to give our business to.
