1st Cash Pawn & Gun Store

I frequent pawnshops quite often and there really wasn’t anything necessarily wrong with this shop, had a great selection of firearms and prices on firearms. The tool selection was fairly large but prices were nearly new or 10-20$ off retail, fair amount of older TV’s and electronics and guitars for higher than expected prices. Their silver was roughly $5-15$ above spot and the gold was marked up a percentage also. Pretty clean and nice all around shop the only downfall for me was me and my friend were never greeted walking in or leaving or when we browsed.

Large in and out parking lot. Inside and outside well maintained and organized with no junk. Customer service is impeccable and extremely professional and if it's not right they fix it. I bought a very cheap pistol and I knew it's quality was cheap and I've had it for a few months. Today I decided to use it and it malfunctioned in such a way that I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I took it to the store and they tried but instead they gave me a full refund. I am not sure if that should happen in all cases but it happened in mine and it generates a lifetime of customer loyalty. I dealt with Steven and he answered all my questions and he was one of the reasons why my review is five stars. I went in to get one repaired but instead I walked out purchasing a six shooter and a 9 mm and I was very pleased with the prices and the quality and the service. I hope, if you are shopping at a pawn shop for weapons or anything else, that you would please try this establishment first. I am a top-rated Google reviewer and I only get five stars win five stars are earned. This one deserves six stars. Please look at the photos to see what the store looks like inside and out I think you will be impressed. I also bought ammunition and holsters for both. This was my Christmas present to myself and this has been a great Christmas because of First Cash Pawn on State Street in Salt Lake City.

Wow, what a great experience! I took my 1911 and Hi-Power to this place and received FAR more than I would have from comparable pawn shops or department stores that sell guns.

I was initially very apprehensive about getting low-balled, but these guys offered far more than I had any right to expect!

Terrific customer service, too! Stephen was a superb salesman and negotiated a fair and equitable price for both firearms! He made my experience truly enjoyable.

Best pawn I ve been to in Salt Lake and Utah county. They have really good stuff for fair prices. The tools are very well organized and not complete junk like other places (snap on, Milwaukee, dewalt, etc.) They also have a good collection of firearms for fair prices. My husband and I took our Flat Screen T.V here to help us pay bills in between checks one day. Since we dont have a car, we carried it in. We dont live too far but it definitely seems farther than it is considering its a 65in and it was 80°. Steven helped us both today, and the day we brought it. Stopped buy to grab some target practice guns. Great service. Were wrong to knock down the price significantly when we found some minor defects. Threw in the trigger locks and an old gun strap for free.

once opon a time i liked this store Sold me a used drum mag as new that had been taken apart so its broken , Lied to me about prices on a holosun red dot and also sold me a garbage one when they told me it was a decent one and conpared it to a sig, when I called about the sight being damaged not only did they not tell me that the sight is like that but they just asked me well, you got it new right I thought I did? when asking a simple question they responed with attitude and refured me to the warranty, way to disregard me as a costumer, half the stuff is overpriced or used sold as new, thats a pawn shop i guess.

Went in the other day to check out some guns. I ended up wanting to get a new AR15 and I was more than happy with my purchase as well as my experience in the store. Everyone is super nice. Troy is the man! The first time I went into a pawn shop it was a bad experience. I thought Id never go into another one again. Now after going into 1st Pawn & Gun, I go back as often as possible! Its fun to see what new items Troy gets in. He and his staff are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend going in to 1st Cash Pawn & Gun and seeing what Troy has to offer.

This pawn shop has a better gun selection than some gun stores. The staff are really helpful and kind and they prices are always reasonable. Definitely one of the best places in SLC to check if you are looking for a certain type of gun for a good price. They also have a large selection of tools and other sporting gear but I mostly have been there for the awesome new and used firearm selection.

1st Cash is not just the closest pawn shop to my home, but the first and by far the best pawn shop Ive borrowed with since moving back to Utah a year ago. Theyve always gave me a loan even when they really werent in the best position to, they consistently offer fair and competitive interest rates, but most importantly to me, theyve ALWAYS without hesitation or attitude worked with me if I was going to be a few days late with a payment. The way they run their business and work with me has and will keep bringing me back, time after time! Thanks 1st Cash! :) (P.s.) I promised to write them a review on here a few months back, and I just know remembered lol. Better late than never ! :)

These people at FIRST CASH PAWN are more than happy to do business with the miscreants who wonder the streets collecting er (stealing) any thing of monetary value, by rewarding 10 % of retail value creating merchandise er (inventory) to sell just under full retail value. maybe your next location will be named Safe House Pawn. Richard Joseph Banks is a customer of First Cash Pawn who recently gathered some tools of mine to allow me the opportunity to experience this clever industry. First Class Pawn wad nice enough to let me pay for my own property but just cant let me have it back. Thanks Firts Cash Pawn. What would we ever do without yall.

I have been dealing with Steve and Kevin for the last year for my firearm purchases and Troy for my FFL transfers all of them have been awesome to work with and are very knowledgeable regarding the firearms and modifications. I used to deal with another shop and thought it was the Norm to have a long time to be waited on and transfers. But I am impressed every time I go into 1st Cash my transactions and interactions have been awesome. I tell everyone to go there for their firearm needs. Jason McGrew

They have a great selection! Tools, stereo, guns! I travel a lot and spend a lot of time in pawn shops. These guys have great prices. The staff is super friendly. I bought a bike. They made me a great deal. Im not a good negotiator but they threw me a bone. Im happy. Ill be going back regularly.

This is a great pawn shop! I have dealt with Troy and Kevin for several years and they are always pleasant and helpful. I have bought everything from power tools to firearms from them and they are always professional and have had reasonable prices. Im always looking for a good deal so I know most of the pawn shops around here and First Cash is one of my favorites to go to. Thanks guys!

They had the best price on a firearm I wanted but the family and crew that run the store are awesome. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. I love going there, you feel valued, appreciated, and they will probably teach you something new, like they have done for me.

For a pawn shop great selection they have suppressor. The prices are high / above or at retail. Staff is so so. Pretty clean.

10/10 store, staff are great to work with, and I rarely buy guns any where else. Everytime I end up leaving with a hell of a deal and a smile. These guys also get in a ton of power tools, bikes, ect, but the rifle selection is superb. Why are you still reading my review? Go buy a mosin before the price jumps!

Go in every once in a while when I have some extra jingle in my pocket. Check up on ammo. Troy is the man to see. I enjoy going in just to talk guns with him. Friendly staff.
