When we purchased in Park City we were faced with a unique situation , we purchased from our Landlord. He had two conditions , as is and no broker , he was an attorney. Potter Clark was recommended to us by Steve Johnstone of Keller Williams. What a great recommendation. Potter not only got it done but with no drama , I would consider him a comsumate professional. Potter helped us get a mortgage after our loan fell through with a large bank. My wife and I were very frustrated with how we had been treated trying to get the loan through our bank, with lots of mistakes made and we were at risk of losing our $10,000 earnest money. I called up Potter based on positive review I found online (we were moving from out of state to Park City) , and he was very helpful right away. Told us exactly what we needed to do, kept us regularly updated, and came through for us - ready to close a week early with a great rate even after we had wasted 3 weeks dealing with the other lender! Ive dealt with many mortgage companies in my life and Intermountain Mortgage is far and away the best. At the initial meeting, they will provide a very detailed schedule of what documentation will be necessary and they follow through to help you at every step. I reached out to Ian Poor at Intermountain needing to get a mortgage quickly for a new house I wanted to buy (another lender was dragging their feet and I felt I could do better). Over the course of less than a week, Ian and his team had secured my loan, ensuring I would be able to close on time. We actually ended up closing early, so the entire process lasted just 14 days from initial conversation to close. Everything was done so fast and smoothly. We initially consulted with Ian Poor before we decided to build a new home. We found him to be very knowledgable and he had lots of ideas about how we should approach the process. We ended up building a new home over the course of 3 long years! Ian regularly checked in with us and answered questions along the way. Potter was a very helpful resource for my wife and I when we were obtaining a mortgage remotely from across the country. Intermountain Mortgage was excellent! I used them for my loan on my first home purchase and the whole process was very smooth. Being my first mortgage, I didnt know what to expect and it gave me a lot of anxiety. My lender was great. He called me every few days to update on the stages of the loan. They were great at communicating everything to me and making sure I was comfortable and informed. Both the lender and the processor were a pleasure to work with. I had a window of 60 days to close, but Intermountain managed to complete my loan and close on the home in exactly 30 days! They are fast, efficient and got me a great rate. Im a first time home buyer so Im not as well versed in all the intricacies of a Home Loan. Ian and his team were VERY helpful and able to explain everything to me where I felt comfortable with the process and understood what was going on.
