I saw and heard how he handled customers that waited for weeks of their application but he sounded very snobby and did not even took over the situation. This place is absolutely mismanaged. They should hire someone way better and follow up their staff clients to make sure that customers get the answers. They do no reply emails and cannot even get hold with them directly.

Pathetic customer service! Horrible Experience!!!!! We made an appointment to open an account. The agent that we were scheduled to meet with was not there at all and they gave us to some other random person to us for our appointment. First HUGE red flag! We had considered changing our banking to this credit union, foolishly thinking this might be a safe place for our money. WRONG! We filled out all the documents and signed everything then we get text messages from the person that supposedly set up our account saying we had to resign documents, without any phone call or explanation as to why! Then when we resigned everything electronically, they went ahead and cancelled our application and new account, without any reason as to why. Again no phone call or follow up! And we still have not received the money back that we deposited with them when we opened the account! Can you say FRAUD! Just beyond the pale! Going to go to one of their competitors now. Maybe they can provide quality customer service!

This branch in particular is horrible.. I have to wait 30 mins to an hr.. every time I go into the branch… just to simply deposit money or inquire about my account… the manager was more than rude last time I voiced my frustrations and the only thing he could mention is that “they are under staffed and no one wants to work here” hmmm I wonder why..

The most important one I value is the team takes special interest in my personal and financial success. I’ve known a few key team members, Sophia and Julianne who take special care of me every time I enter the building. My identity was stolen and multiple attempts to open new accounts in my name were made over 4 banks. Mountain America Credit union was the only bank to call and let me know. In which, the lady whom called was kind, caring, and helpful.

We just came to Park City from PA. Mountain America helped us with notarizing docs for selling our house. What a refreshing experience in this day and age that they provide notary services free of charge. The branch was open and friendly. Branch Leader Julianne Bown was fantastic and so helpful. I love MACU and keep my account open even though I moved out of state years ago. Recently when I was visiting I stopped into the Kimball Junction branch because I needed help with getting a new debit card. The teller who helped me was cheerful and went out of her way to ensure I had what I needed. This branch seemed a little understaffed but all the employees were courteous and eager to help. There was just a positive feeling about the place. It made me realize I absolutely did the right thing by sticking with MACU when I moved.

Nice staff. It begins and ends there. Had a loan adjustment started on 5/25, the loan officer left 2 weeks later. No follow up and several phone calls later it was finalized almost 3 months later-when I was promissed less than a 2 weeks. I asked for less than $50 credit on the interest, which was the difference in interest from a few weeks after the time promissed to the several calls to finalize.The answer was no. They even lost complete track of the loan, and some of the calls were for them to find the loan. The adjustment would never have happened, if I hadnt called several times. Even the first time the loan was done-many months ago,I was given wrong information, and that also took many phone calls. Highly incompetent. Find another bank.

This place sucks. I don t use MACU for this specific reason. I arrived at this brand twice there is a line of 10 people and one teller working and when you mention to them that this is not acceptable their answer they don t have enough employees. Well they could hire people. I bank with 5 banks and I have seen this level of disrespect to customers. If I were anyone else I would avoid using MACU it is a horrible bank that doesn t treat its customers with respect.

Team Leaders of this bank are all chitchatting, didnt even care of their teller being slammed today 6/28/23. It was a huge line of people and 2 of the team leaders were just on the side talking with each other (a guy- acct manager, and a blonde lady). Thank God my teller is so patience and took time to do excellent service depite of a stressful afternoon.

I dont want to do this bc so many of the workers have been so kind as well as the manager. But... its gone too far. Any time we have an issue it seems to take about an hour to fix if not longer. I sat to make a cash deposit for 30 minutes. Its just too much. I have four teens with accounts, businesses etc and Im hoping somehow they upgrade their systems for a much more efficient routine.

All good except when I opened my accounts I asked if macu participated in Zelle and was told that it did. Ive come to find out that it does not. While I can transfer to accounts at other banks, it takes up to 2 days & requires account & routing numbers, which is extremely inconvenient. Zelle transfers almost immediately with just the recipients phone number. Please consider allowing access to Zelle for the benefit of all your customers.

Kudos to Julianne Bown at MACU in Kimball Junction. Julianne is a perfect combination of courtesy, professionalism and competence. After helping me with a home loan and discussing my credit utilization percent, Julianne was able to increase my Visa card limit by 200%, which dropped my credit utilization and improved my credit score markedly. I didnt ask her to do this, she simply knew it would improve my credit score and did it for me anyway. That level of service is nonexistent at banks and other credit unions. To say I am pleased and impressed would be an understatement.

My wife and I went to the branch with an appointment to transfer over $100,000 from chase to Mountain America. We provided all the needed information to the branch employee and we have yet to see this happen. I actually wanted to believe they would do a better job than Chase but it seems they have no interest in our money or services. Why is this? Please see if you really want to help us.

I rushed into the Kimball Junction branch about 2:00 pm on Christmas Eve to withdrawal cash for gift giving. Not only had a procrastinated, but had certain bills I was requesting. Jane, at the branch, was patient, kind and went out of her way to search for the bills I wanted. Jane is one of the reasons I bank and use MACU for most of my financial needs!

I m rating them a one because of the loan officer. None of the business they do could make up for the unprofessionalism and arrogance of this man. Even if you schedule an appointment he acts like you are unimportant and wasting his time. He didn t give us any respect, wouldn t listen to what we were trying to say and acted like we have no business trying to build a house, especially in Park City. This wasn t a one time thing, he was the same way a year ago but we decided to give him the benefit of the doubt and use him again. I thought maybe all loan officers were this way until we switched to a new lady in Salt Lake and she actually wanted to help and listened to everything we had to say. It s just too bad such a rude man has to work with people.

Very nice branch and super professional employees. The location is convenient to my grocery shopping and general errands. I went in just before closing several months ago to setup a new account and they were very patient with me and not rushed at all. They took their time in explaining my options and made me feel very welcome. As a side note, I noticed that one reviewer said this was an ATM only location which is incorrect.
