Great group of employes, outgoing, friendly, professional. Took my mother & sister to learn to shoot their firearms & had a productive session. We have been to this location twice & have received great customer service. My only complaint is the range needs some A/C ;-) was grateful that they don't charge for hearing & eye protection.

I rented a bunch of weapons from them and stayed for about 3 hours. Not once did they have an issue with me asking questions and constantly trying different weapons.

Will and Cody were extremely nice and helpful. They made me feel welcomed and very comfortable as I have not shot a gun in over 10 years.

I was nervous to use the 12 gauge and they both had no issue coming into the range and showing me how to safely use it.

My group and I had a fantastic experience here!! We had one person who was a bit worried about shooting but Kevin was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful in teaching gun safety. After a while she had no problem shooting guns because Kevin was so helpful. He also went above and beyond showing us unique and interesting guns. I cannot emphasize enough not only how safe and fun it was but how much Kevin helped us out. Will definitely be coming back to try out some more of the weapons!!

First I want to say THANK YOU to the entire staff at this location. I've not been to the other locations as I live in Spanish Fork. But, that does lead into my reason for this review.

My family and I move to Spanish for from out of state back in Aug 2023. We've spent a few months exploring Gun Shops and Ranges before we made our first purchase. Which we did, here at this location.

Our family drive from Spanish Fork up to Orem just to visit this store and we do it at least once a week. We pass by 4 other stores that offer the same pistols and rifles, the same supplies and with indoor ranges. Yet we still choose to drive up to this location. We've even brought multiple family and friends here just because of the staff.

I can tell you that the staff is absolutely the best option for down to earth knowledge on firearms, and will never steer you into a bais brand favorite. I speak from example. Yes, a few of the staff own Glocks, but I'm not a Glock person. And they still never pushed a Glock onto me. I've bought several firearms from here just because of their knowledge and how they approach each person. They've taken time on the range to help my wife and my oldest daughter with grip control and fire control. They've taken time to educate us on the difference of calibers and what to expect.

Seriously if you have an issue with the staff or this store. You might want to look at yourself.

Again, I want to say thank you to the entire staff.

Everyone had a pretty good time! One of my daughters was a little unnerved by the firing in nearby lanes. Ashlyn helped her feel more comfortable and they gave her a set of foam earplugs to add to her ear protection that helped.
It was everything we hoped for.

I stopped in today just to check the store out as I was passing through town. I normally go in to the Murray store which is usually a good experience but these guys at the Orem store were so damn cool! I was just walking around looking for my next gun to buy and now I know Ill be traveling to Get Some in Orem to buy it! Thanks for a positive experience today even though I wasnt even buying!

Employees at this location are extremely rude and seem to goof off a lot. They spend more time talking and messing around than helping customers. Cody was very rude when I asked him what he must have thought was a dumb question, but Im new to all of this. I ended up going to Ready Gunner and bought a Sig P365. Their store and range is much cleaner and more maintained compared to Get Some Guns.

Good place to do business with. I chose them as my FFL when I purchased a firearm through Gun Broker. The day my firearm arrived, Get Some called me telling me it arrived. Picking up my purchase was a smooth process. On another occasion, I bought ammo and received some good customer service. I recommend this place.

I stopped by the Orem store last month to do some shopping around for a pistol and the employee who was helping me was very pushy and condescending. He just didnt care what I wanted. His name was Brandon or Brendon, I believe. Are CZs all he knows? He seems like a know it all and I fact checked him later about something he said and he was wrong. If he wasnt so pushy it would have been a better experience. This was about the tenth time in the store. Ive usually just been buying ammo and it was fine, but when I started looking at guns, this guy wouldnt let up. I finally left because hes extremely condescending and overbearing and spoke to me like I was dumb when I am far from it. I will not be going back there. When I read the other reviews about how rude the staff is there, it all made sense.

Went to purchase a handgun, I told Steve what I was looking for in a gun and he let me shoot a number of guns in the shooting range until I found the one I liked the best. Why buy a gun unless you fire it to make sure it works well for you. Steve only charged me for the ammo I shot and l m looking forward to go back with a gun I know is accurate for me. Thanks Steve

Great location off of I-15 and 800 N. Open Sunday which is a plus. Good product selection for a range and gun shop. Range prices are reasonable. Range itself has seen heavy use and could use some improvements. It is tight with limited table space for firearms, range bags, etc.

Very nice shooting range, you will pay 25$ to try as many guns/rifle as you want, pay 25-30$ for the alley, and all is left is to pay for the ammo that you use! Overall we paid a little over 100$ for 3 of us and 2 hours of fun! Great experience.

Safety is the number one priority for any firearm range. This range ensures that the customers are filling out waivers which include multiple questions to ensure that a customer is actually allowed to possess a firearm. This range does not turn down customers who stated they are not allowed to possess firearms which is an automatic disqualifier for any other range. Yet they stated Oh it s a very confusing question, just circle here and initial and allowed them to proceed! If you are alone and plan to rent a firearm, you are required to call someone else to verify that you are a safe shooter and are mentally stable. I personally will never be coming back to this range due to major safety concerns and the staff s willingness to allow people to correct wrong answers on disqualifying questions.

He is an incredible person if you find yourself lucky enough to take some of his time and buy from him you will come out better than when you walked in. Get some has very helpful staff, however, it isnt my favorite place to go shoot. I feel it is a little too overpriced and the range is often packed with little A/C. Id say go check out their selection, however, I would try out more ranges before making this one your home. Edit: my original review was positive. But this place is just falling apart. Go to gunnies for guns/ammo and ready Gunnar for the range.

First time was yesterday! 02/06/2023 Gentlemen who helped us was beyond friendly, knowledgeable and great personality. Came in with my Family to show my Wife and Niece some basics of our Newest Handguns and to let them shoot as well as get them use to handling them. Great experience! Prices are fairly priced for ammo, buy there or bring your own. He put us on a lane next to a clsed lane so we could have plenty of room for what we needed. Our Family will definitely be back and we will be telling Family and Friends about this business. Thank you.

Each member of staff in unprofessional uncoordinated and simply rude how am I able to buy a 9 mm riffle from you guys in store but I can t buy ammo for the gun to practice shooting makes absolutely no sense. Don t even waste your time you d get better customer service at Walmart.

Ive been to this location several times for window shopping and purchases, seeing how i work in the area. Every time Ive been inside, the staff has been friendly, helpful, and very professional. They have a decent selection of firearms and gear. Check this store out sometime. A+ service in my book.

This was the only gunstore in the provo orem area that enforced masks during the scamdemic. Do not support this business. The staff is extremely rude and not knowledgeable about guns. Your hard earned money is better spent at ready gunner or gunnies

First time going into this store, I wanted to spread out my business and check them out so I sent them an FFL transfer on a gun I couldnt find in stock. Everything went smoothly business-wise, but the staff sure couldnt care less about being friendly or welcoming! And the place was empty inside. Gunnies & Ready Gunner are usually helping multiple customers at once and still able to provide a MUCH more positive customer experience. Every business can choose how they operate, but I know to avoid this store now. Ill continue using Gunnies & Ready Gunner instead.

Hilariously rude staff. My family owns a gun store in another state with twice the business they do, and heard about how terrible this place was from a few people at a gun show so I stopped in while traveling through. So many gun salesman have this weird complex of knowing more than the customer and cant help but be total jerks, I have no clue why, and Get Some Guns is no exception. Also I took prices down of 5 of each of the most popular pistols, rifles, and shotguns, did the math against MSRP and internet sales. They charge 32% more! LOL I could see this ridiculous price hike if they had some expert advice but they just ignore and make you feel dumb. Plus a few things they said were incorrect and downright dangerous. Stop in this place, only if youre in the gun business, for a good laugh and excellent example on how not to run a storefront.

Came to use the range, one lady was pleasant and directed me to the right counter. When I got to that counter I stood there for about ten minutes while the man behind the counter ignored me completely. Didnt seem interested in having my business. A simple Ill be right with you would have sufficed.

Their current ammunition prices are an insult to the intelligence of those who shop there. Two days ago, at another store, I purchased two boxes of target ammunition for roughly $38. Here, those very boxes are being sold for $38, EACH. Moreover, just last week, at Scheels, I purchased a Colt Python for $1,499, which was hardly a good deal on account of the fact that it retails for just as much. Here, however, the same python has a price of $1,700 $200 more than the MSRP. Take your business elsewhere, and dont subsidize these greedy crooks.

Worst gun store experience. Staff is incredibly rude. Idk how they even get people to buy there guns and ammo with how unreasonable and unfriendly they are. Even then the gouging ammo prices are ridiculous. I just went to to shoot at there range witch keep in mind Ive been there many times before to rent and use my own firearms. A staff member had to end up calling a member of my family or friend for a psych evaluation just for the waiver to let me rent their guns. Sence when has that changed? Ive never had to do that before when I was by myself at there range. Just a horrible experience overall.

Unbelievably rude. We just sold our house and had full intentions of splurging a bit and purchasing a new firearm for both me and my husband but will be going somewhere else. Additionally the gun cases are super dirty and scratched so you can t really see what your looking at/what s new vs old. Store is old, dirty and in desperate need of an update.

condescending staff, by mistake I picked up bullets castings for making rounds and the staff member thought he was being helpful by asking me to tell him what I had in my hand.. when I answered incorrectly he said wrong, you have bullet castings you should have read the box he was right I had the wrong stuff...... but it still irked me the way he handled the situation I m not over sensitive but if I compare my experiences that same day the service I got from the three other major guns and ammo stores in the area they did not give me the same condescension as I got at get some guns and the other stores had plenty of patience with all my ammo questions. Poor staff experience and the mark up on their guns and ammo lead me not wanting to come back. Not worth their prices not worth their services.

Adam is an awesome guy! He helped us get in on the range and they were so accommodating. He helped us look at different guns and we walked out with 3 new guns! We weren t a total fan of the other employees, as they kind of had some bad attitudes but Adam is the guy to talk to for whatever needs you have! He won t steer you wrong or treat you like you know nothing about anything.

Get Some has very unfriendly staff. Ive never had a anything other than negative experience with them. They are condescending or just plain rude to customers. Theyve been price gouging more than any other gun shop since the ammo shortage. Just went there today looking for 300BLK and 9MM and it was double what I have seen elsewhere. $42 for a box of 50 9MM rounds.

Ordered a gun through gunbroker. Decided to use get some because it was a little closer to where I am. Waiting for the package to be delivered and when it was I got a notification it was there. I called and asked if it was ready and they told me their staffing was low and they could not get to it. So now I have to wait for who knows how long for them to get a round to it. And all they say is they will call me when it is done. So their customers who are inside take priority I suppose. UPDATE: After calling them to see why and then writing the review. They must have got someone in to get the gun registered and gave me a call.

Ive been here several times in the past month and each time the staff has been extremely rude and demanding. The last two times Ive gone they shouted across the room at customers. Never going there again. Youre much better off going to Gunnies or Ready Gunner.

Horrible experience. Staff was super rude. I wish I grabbed the guys name. I have medical exemption from wearing a mask so when he asked me to put a mask on I told why I cant, then he proceeded to call me a liar and that thirty minutes of wearing it wont hurt. I said no again and he then told me that if I have medical issues then I shouldnt even be outside. Mind you the whole time hes being an arse about it, hes not even wearing a mask! He was just mean. We left the store and found a different gun shop in Springville called discount guns and they were AMAZING!!!! They were super kind and accommodating and werent mask nazis. They got my business instead!

Backed myself into a corner with time this season. Dropped off my hunting rifle to get sighted in because I put it off too long and just didnt have the time to go do it myself. Keven noted that my scope was damaged. Didnt have it in the budget to replace it so I had to borrow one. (This was end of last week) Was told to drop it off Tuesday to mount and sight in. Now, bear in mind, they had no idea I was in a time crunch, leaving the following Friday morning for the hunt. I called in Thurs to see when I could pick it up. (I live in Layton, work on Orem) and they noted they were short staffed and had not been able to get to it. Keven was off today, so it would not be ready. I explained my circumstances. (too late to find a last minute replacement now) They called Kevin, who went in on his day off and got me set up for tomorrow. THANK YOU GET SOME! AND THANK YOU KEVIN!

cant give them 0 stars. My wife lasted about 7 minutes at this place. Staff is RUDE, condescending, and patronizing. To the girl in the Ive got Attitude shirt, patronizing is a big word that means when you spend all your time talking down to people. If youre looking for a good gun experience, both in staff, support, selection and range, go elsewhere.

Rude staff, they make you feel as if youre bugging them. I went in to buy multiple guns and a few months worth of ammo because I just got a nice bonus and something Id been wanting to do for awhile. My idea was to test a few of the guns I was interested in at the range and purchase my favorites. I asked if they had a particular gun at the range to test, they didnt, not a big deal at all, I dont expect them to have everything available to test fire. What bothered me was the manner in how I was treated; normally when I go in to purchase anything, if its not in stock Im given alternate recommendations. Instead the range rep mocked me as if I was making a ridiculous request and then proceeded to ignore me even though I waited there for a few more minutes. Definitely convinced me not to go there again. Youre better off going to Gunnies or Ready Gunner as the staff there are at least pleasant to work with

We paid for one lane but everything was empty and so for the last 10 minutes my buddy and I jumped on a different lane and they charged us for each lane we used. Make sure you stay on one lane even when the place is a ghost town.

Spent a fair amount of time and money at Get Some since I first discovered them in Murray roughly 13 years ago. Prices and stock werent the greatest back then, but for the knowledge base and service they offered it was an acceptable trade-off for me. It was a great group of people working there at the time, and interesting technical conversation could be had when time allowed (it was a busy place!). In short, they were far from your stereotypical LGS. Since I live in Utah County I was pretty happy when the Orem store opened, and I used the range facilities and bought my parts there frequently for the first few years (even though range fees were, and still are steep compared to competitors). Eventually, as employees turned over and/or were added, the apparent knowledge base in the Orem store started to dwindle and attitudes started showing up. At that point I decided the juice wasnt worth the squeeze, and moved to another range even though it meant a longer drive. I stopped in today, and while the majority of the staff were absolutely friendly, there was one who was profoundly ignorant, and apparently extremely proud of it. In the short time I was there, this employee single-handedly convinced me to spend my money elsewhere. At nearly sixty years old I will not suffer fools, nor will I encourage their behavior by spending money with them. Although the other employees were friendly, I cannot speak to their level of knowledge; what I CAN say is that I didnt get the same ignorant and proud of it attitude from a single person when I spent my money at a nearby competitor. Ironically, the Orem Get Some seems to have become what I sought to avoid all those years ago by patronizing the Murray store - they are the stereotypical LGS. I assign them a two star rating based on nostalgia alone.

I went there to fire a firearm for the first time but the staff wasnt like a friendly staff like the tone of their voices is like dont come back and Im going to take that advise and not come back to that place

Love these guys! Super welcoming and funny and take your wants and needs seriously. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They didnt bash on any manufacturer (I hate when sellers do that) Hubs and I will be visiting again!

I ordered a variant of a rifle(had a different stock and an extra rail) from their online store and picked it up. Turns out the store and inventory is managed by a third party warehouse and the listing was a mistake. I received the base make model.To make it right they gave me a free bag and a 2 month membership to the range. Pretty cool.

Amazing experience! 100 rounds, unlimited time to switch out weapons for 2 people for $50? Cant beat it! My husband and I went here to shoot some hand guns to figure out which ones we wanted to buy and the staff was soooo kind, knowledgeable and helpful would highly recommend coming here if you need help choosing a weapon!

Complete roll of the dice with this place...Ive been in 6-7 times to both purchase guns, and shoot on the range. 2 times I had a wonderful experience, people were friendly and helpful etc. 2 Other times where meh, and the last two visits were pretty bad. Cant get anyones attention, and when you do they are usually snobby and rude. I cant stand the know it all gun guy attitude.

Took the time to answer my questions, very knowledgeable. Suggested to try a different handgun then what I was going to buy. After putting 400 rounds through it, I could not be happier with the suggestion that was made to me. Their prices for handguns are better then what you can find online or at any box store by a lot. The ammo prices are fair from what I have noticed at other ranges around. I will most likely be buying another gun from them. The background and buying process was a million times faster then what it is at cabela s take a number wait and over another hour to check out. After this experience I am going to try and support local businesses in the guns and ammo space and for sure Get some for me is now a top choice.

Weve had the most amazing experience here over the last week. We went shooting as a family around thanksgiving, and my little brother in law who had never handled a gun was intimidated by the big semi-auto handguns all the older kids kept picking to shoot. It was a busy day full of loud shouts and so he ended up having a lot of panic and couldnt get himself to shoot any of the guns. Chad ended up giving him a voucher to come back and try out a gun for free, arranged with another employee, Kevin, to come in during a quiet weekday time with his own lower-caliber guns and let my brother try them in a calmer setting. Kevin went above and beyond, bringing several low caliber guns for my brother to choose, and giving him one-on-one instruction on how to handle each one and other gun safety and marksmanship principles. He handled everything perfectly and the whole experience was just very very positive and confidence building, for my little bro-in-law, and my wife as well. Amazing stand-up employees and people.

From the frequent window shopping I do around the valley, Get Some Guns and Ammo has consistently better prices on new guns, and my experiences with the staff has shown them to be nothing but polite and professional. I ll most likely be buying another firearm here in the future.

Went here with daughter and wife at the end of a Roadtrip. We were pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and humor that our instructor Kevin displayed. Had fun and even got to shoot a bad-ass snipergun as bonus. Summary: Very good!

I went to get a single crush washer for my 300 blackout build. They only had them in bulk which was fine. I had to wait to pay because the guy helping me took a call while the other guy stood there and watched. Finally after about 5 minutes he decided to help. Their card machine was down, something they could have told me as soon as I came in. Unfortunately all the cash I had in me was a $100. Youd think a store that sells guns in excess of $1000 would be able to make change but no. He didnt even seem to care. This was the second time I went for a common part and they werent able to help. I wont make the mistake of going there again.

I dont normally write reviews, but it was such a negative experience, I feel like I should. I tag along with a friend who has a year pass. I always pay the extra money to shoot with him. But last night, we were telling the employee with the soul patch that we wanted to shoot. He never once asked if I wanted my own lane and normally as long as its not busy will hop onto my own lane, even at other gun ranges. I make sure no one else is in there and would be bothered by it. I would for sure move to my friends lane if someone came in. I would also always pay for the second lane if I needed to since its not too much money. But no one has hardly even asked me to, even when theyve seen me. Again as long as its not busy. And it was not even close to being busy. When we went to pay, he gave me a death stare before even talking to me. He then asked if I had told him that I wanted my own lane. I told him no and that he never asked me. He then proceeded to talk to me as if I had offended his ancestors and told me to never do it again. I would had paid the extra money, but he didnt even ask me that. He just talked to me in a deathly tone and said had it gotten busy, it would have been a problem. We were the only people in the range for at least 30 minutes. Again, I would had moved over. He simply could have asked me to pay for the lane. He also could have told me what I had done was wrong, but in a better tone. My friend and I plan on not shooting there anymore once his pass expires. We are going to find a different place that treats customers better.

There are only a few lanes and they are small. The T brackets used to hold the targets hang too low for taller shooters (Im 62) and had to adjust the targets as to not be shooting towards the floor. All that said, this was the BEST INDOOR RANGE EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN YEARS. Staff was friendly and hands off. You get to shoot until your thumbs are bleeding from reloading mags, or the store closes.... In reality few people shoot for that period of time. For me it was beyond pleasant to be able to go spend a couple carefree hours and not have a range master hounding over the time.

Knowledgeable staff though a little hard to get their attention and they dont come over to see if you have any questions. Pricing is a bit high (you can get most items cheaper online) and little to no selection of items for left handed shooters.

This is an OK gun shop but this review is more about the range. It has really degraded over the years. I guess they never like to replace light bulbs or something because over the years the range just keeps getting darker and darker. Could hardly see my sights today it was so dark. I have a few punches left on my range pass. I may not even use them since shooting here has become so miserable.

Decent selection, higher than topical mark ups but at least they have them in stock, but not the warmest reception. Some of the staff have a snobby personality towards new shooters and can be vulgar. Drop the attitude and maybe it would be a much better place to go.

Air conditioning was broken and it was 109 degrees on the range. I was sweating like crazy. Perfect for anyone training for a gun fight in the dessert not wonderful for an afternoon at an indoor range. Other then that the staff was helpful, though inconsistent in there instructions .

This is the only indoor gun range Ive been to so far. Its easy to get into the range to shoot, though it seems like they expect everyone who walks in their door to be an expert on firearms, so there can be a bit of a condescending atmosphere.

The staff there is amazing! I was looking to purchase my first handgun and the man helping me was very kind and answered all my questions. I end up purchasing a different gun than I had intentionally done research on. The staff helping me showed me the Pros and cons of the original gun I had in mind then they directed me toward something that was similar but still within my price point. Definitely going back here for my future gun purchases!

The older gentleman with the goatee has been rude to me on several occasions and would talk to me in condescending tones even when I would ask important questions about policies, recommendations, etc. Very unprofessional. I wont set foot in this store as long as that man is behind the counter.
