I have been banking now with your Credit Union for 10+ years. Each time I arrive at the drive through or lobby I am instantly greeted by an associate that is looking to help me as if they had been expecting me.

I needed to have several items of business done the day I went in and they took care of everything very quickly, even though I was told that it would take some time. They also suggested that I apply for a better type of credit card since I pay off my charges as soon as I make them. I would not have known that this type of card was available had they not brought it to my attention. I appreciated how well they took care of me.

Phenomenal experience! Me and my fiance both work during their regular hours but were able to squeeze in on a Friday right before they closed. The employees went above and beyond to help us out. We wanted to start a joint account right before we got married so we checked out DFCU. This bank is anything and everything your looking for. Daniel helped us out and he walked us through all the different tools available for us and this was really great for us since were new to joint accounts. Homeboi got us walking out of there very confident about our financial future. Best experience Ive ever had at a bank/credit union. I took a large tax refund check to put into savings, and Conner gave me suggestions on upgrading my credit card and choosing a money market account. They both seem like wise changes, and he was very helpful, courteous, and kind. Thanks so much! I have loved the staff, the convenience, quick resolution of any problems, and that there are no stupid hidden fees like I used to have with my former bank. The loan rates are very competitive, and these folks are great to work with on every level.

DFCU is wonderful! They were so helpful and patient when my credit card had problems. They have a friendly, small-town atmosphere in a time when that is so rare! They arent so busy that they dont have time for customer service. I love that they have seating for customers to wait, even though Ive never had much of a wait.

Ive been with Desert First for a year and eight months with an auto loan. Within that time frame, making online payments is IMPOSSIBLE. Ive tried so many times to connect my bank apps, set up transfers, even set up auto payments to go through. The auto payments have been working, but they dont charge on the day my loan is due, the 15th! Charging ME a late fee even though I have it set up on time. On TOP of that, apparently, they can just stop charging your account for no reason? I was two months behind because they didnt take the money. Thats not my fault! And they sent a tow truck to come get it, illegally. Prior to this, I paid $900 which is more than enough than what I owed. On their policy it states that I provide the insurance policy, which I did. They had my policy number and chose not to look into it, even though being a lein holder gets them access to see my full policy. Since they didnt have my insurance, they charged me a higher monthly bill. It went from $350 (which Ive been paying $400 a month) to $923.00. Im very disappointed in these sneaky pursuits to repossess and sell my car since they know it is worth a lot. This has happened twice now! Their inability to work with their members is very unacceptable and crossing the line into being unethical.

Ashley and Ben went beyond the call of duty. They were so kind and spoke to me as friends. Ashley made a special effort talking to the underwriters helping me to get another credit card. I needed this credit card so I could purchase some new hearing aids due to one of my old ones that was destroyed because my Chihuahua chewed on it and mangled it beyond repair. Ashley has the unique ability to fulfil her responsibilities as manager of the branch, but at the same time laugh and have fun. Hard to find managers with those two qualities.

Ive had a loan through this company for 5 years and they have always been helpful if I had issues making my payment. This year I wanted to refinance and Alec gave me some useful options to increase my credit score to get a better interest rate. I cannot tell you how I thrilled I was to walk in a few days ago and not only had my credit score increased, but I was able to refinance my car and was approved for a new credit card to help me grow my credit even more!! Alec specifically, and the team at dfcu really are in the business of helping people navigate finances, not exploiting the naivety of the uneducated for their own profit. I got a loan to fix up a rental home I am selling. The people were easy to work with and looked out for my best interest. My dad has a Deseret First credit card with a 10% credit card rate, and so do I. All other credit card rates are much higher at other places (24% for example.)

When I went in to get a new card and savings account, Barbara was there to help me. Nobody else was in line at the moment so I was helped immediately which was great as I had classes to get to after the appointment. She helped me thoroughly and efficiently. This was exceptional for the time that I had and I was able to accomplish both tasks with ease. Deseret First Credit Union itself is already amazing with awesome benefits for their savings, and immediate transfers between an individuals account, and less than an hour to two between you and someone else who has it as well. Customer service has been amazing my entire time using their services, ever since around December 2019, and February 2020. Thank you DFCU for your help, and I hope that you continue to grow and be as amazing for years to come!

There are so many benefits to the DFCU credit card, and Conner made the process quick and painless. We recently went to DFCU in Orem to apply for a loan to purchase a used truck. We were pleasantly surprised as we were greeted and assisted through the process by Taylor Marshall. The Staff at this location are amazing! They re friendly. They smile when they greet you as you walk in. Daniel Wilkinson helped me with a credit card application. He is very knowledgeable and helps me understand which credit card that will help me with my credit. When I have questions he responds in a timely manner. Great Customer Service! DeseretFirstCC Orem Branch has the best Root Beer Barrels! I highly recommend this branch if you re looking into opening an account with a Credit Union.

I had the please working with Alec Stump. In my opinion one of rhe professionals working there. He always takes time to listen and give the best advice. He never rushes do gets off the phone, Alec always makes sure that the clients needs are resolved. I had an issues with my precious bank and i had to pay double for the car payment.
