I had the best experience with Martha today. Due to an emergency I had to come in and at first I dreaded going because the other location the employee made me feel guilty for needing to pawn some things. As I walked in she greeted the customer before me with so much love and care. I immediately felt better. She understands on a human level and I felt like she felt my anxiety and my need and immediately told me not to feel bad or worry she was going to help me. She definitely did more than I expected. I saw how she interacted with others as if they were family. I will definitely continue to come here to see her she was Godsend today!!!!!!

I’d like to start off by saying WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! If I could take away stars from this place I would. Unfortunately google allows you at the least to leave a one star review.

I went there to sell some of my jewelry and they had the nerves to tell me that my jewelry didn’t pass their second purity test. Mind you I bought this same exact jewelry from a pawn shop back at home in Florida and pawn shops aren’t going to sell you fake jewelry. I had this same exact jewelry tested so many different times by other pawn shops when I needed some fast money for the moment and I NEVER had any other pawn shops tell me that my jewelry wasn’t passing their purity test. This pawn shop told me every piece of my jewelry passed their first test but failed the second test which I never heard of in my life! It’s either the jewelry is real or it’s not. The lady (Ingrid) in charge there then went on to say it could be the acid from my body when I sweat. Lol, LIKE WHAT?! This place is a damn joke. At the very end she continued to say maybe I should buy from them next time. Lol, NO THANK YOU!!!!! I’M NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO THIS PLACE! I personally think she’s prejudice and very rude.

Oh! Here’s even a better one for you! They also tried giving me $45 for a pair of BRAND NEW BALLY’S that retails at $550. Aw man this place is funny. Lol

The lady that helped me was so rude like my bad for coming in and wanting to buy something. And then when she messed up, she tried to fight with me about it, but saw that she was wrong and fix the problem. To be honest, I really didn t want to buy anything because it was a good price. I ended up getting some but still if you don t like dealing with people and you shouldn t be working here then I have to give a whole attitude and make faces.

Coming from a customer service background, I dont like to write negative reviews because I know sometimes a person is struggling elsewhere in their life that causes the bad day on the job. I would rather just let it go and be the nice part of their shift if possible. Tonight is different, because I am the one that is struggling. This is the Wednesday before thanksgiving, and for the first time in 3 years my husband is not in a hospital for the holiday. We have no money, but I figured I could make it something by getting a loan and make a meal for us for a change. I called EZPAWN around lunchtime, to be sure they would be open regular hours since it was the eve before a holiday. The employee who answered the phone said they would be open until 7 like usual. I tried very hard to find a way to the store early, but the ride I had was running behind. We quickly made our way to the store, and luckily we arrived at around 6:45, which left 15 minutes until closing. unfortunately for me, the security gate was already pulled down over the entrance, and the 2 people I could see still inside were making sure not to get too close to the front window, avoiding any chance to have me engage with them. This is what is bothering me enough to talk about it. I know they would not be able to let anyone inside, as it is for their own safety, and I am not the type to expect to be entitled to any sort of exception. However, I would like them to realize that closing that early can effect someone else who may have been depending on them to be available for that time. Things happen, I get it, but sometimes the right thing to do can be as simple as looking at someone just to say We made the call to close up early tonight, being as slow as it is. I recognize that the last place anyone wants or needs to be is at work closing up for the holiday ahead, and Im truly empathetic to that. However, tonights experience, especially on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, added a layer of difficulty to an already tough day. Its a reminder that sometimes a little communication can go a long way in making customers feel heard and understood.

The manager was very very rude. He had a bad attitude before I begin telling him what I was there looking for. I was in the process of purchasing a lawn mower while waiting for the manager to unchain other lawn mowers to checkout because I didn t like the first one we looked at, this guy left me standing there and went somewhere else. I had to hunt him down and ask him what s going on. He just stared at me like there was something wrong and didn t say a word. Needless to say I left out without a lawn mower and I will not go there again unless they hire another staff. Management is horrible!!!

This pawn shop heavily relies on its customer not knowing the value of the items they are selling. This applies especially to their firearms. They were selling an SR9 with a cracked slide for almost brand new MSRP. The rest of their stuff was priced similarly. I stood at the counter for 30+ minutes waiting on a sales rep just to get someone that acted like I was wasting their time. Not a good experience overall, and I likely will avoid this place in the future. The only good thing about this location is its inventory.

March 16th 5.59pm and the store closed at 6pm. I got there at 5:52 and was trying to purchase a camera lens that I knew they had. I was gonna buy it but was trying to get a deal on it, in the middle of my talking to the salesman a short and stock white male that I think was the manager came and said that we about to close so if you gonna make the sell then make the sell talking to the salesman. But he was letting me know as well. I WAS BEING RUSHED, I understand its Saturday and you trying to get out of there, but I would never rush a customer, I bought there a few times before it was the first time Ive seen him, Please if you are in charge of this store do something about this rude manager, I might still go back and get my camera lens, but idk.

Sold me a TV with a led light problem, luckily I bought the warranty and they told me I could get cash back (which as I found out was a lie) when I returned it I told them I didnt want a refund but a different TV. They gave me a sharp Roku TV with no remote and told me I could just download a remote app and it would be fine and dandy (also a lie) I tried downloading an app and realized you have to have Wi-Fi to work the remote. I dont have Wi-Fi, which is why I bought the nonsmart TV in the first place... Very dissatisfied!! Wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. Everybody I wanted to share an experience at this store on 12/16/17. I was looking at a gold cross for two weeks so,I would go in every week to see if its lower. Well to much to my surprise when the manager (JIM) saw I was very interested in buying the cross he told me that it was missed priced and raised it another $1000.00 right in first of me and said you should have brought it last time. This is not the way to do business at all. If the item was overpriced and I brought it he wont have said wait this item is overpriced let me lower it before you buy it. You cant just raise the price pf an item during a deal. I would have been okay with it if I left the store and when I came back the price was different but, who changes the price in the middle of a deal. Im requesting to speech to his regional manager because Ive dealt with ez pawn before and Ive never seen this practice of business from anybody who have worked there. Not happy at all but, Im making everybody aware about this experience and letting other customers know about this manager. I will post an update to this situation after talking to the regional manager.

Very RUDE manager. Will never do business there again
