Wonderful people and amazing display and selection. I have gone to multiple places to find a simple gold wedding band, and immediately Shimon helped me make a custom band. Alejandra was so nice and helpful to my needs. The band is beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I even got a silver chain when picking up my ring for a pendant that has sentimental value. I wish I got the other lady’s name, but she was also wonderful and helpful picking a new chain. If you’re disappointed with other places, this is absolutely the place to go!

I can’t say enough about this jewelry store . Boryana and her staff are really some of the best people I’ve ever met . Boryana is extremely professional , while just giving her a brief description of the engagement ring I was looking for , she was able to put the pieces together and show me a variety of options to fit my needs.
The way the ring came out was more than amazing , and the price ?!! I mean you aren’t going to find the quality that they have at the price they have ANY WHERE ELSE . The quality of the diamonds here are really top tier and I brought my aunt with me who was a district manager at Zales , and she said the same thing … all in all my experience here was 15/10 . I will definitely always recommend people to go here if you’re looking for an engagement ring .

Boryana helped my husband pick out a beautiful ring for me 6 years ago. I will say, they were very kind and the ring was beautiful. Within the first three years, my engagement band kept snapping in half. We took it back to get it fixed 2 times along with having small diamonds replaced that fell out of my wedding band at least 4 times. Each time we paid to Fix these issues. They told us they couldn't take the blame because they didn't know how I treated it at home (which I do not sleep, workout, shower, swim, etc. in my rings) and that the band was very small and frail (which I don't understand why they would sell it to me then). When the solitaire diamond completely broke off within 3 years of owning it (see pic), we gave up on Jewelry Depot Houston and have been saving to buy a completely new ring from another location. I haven't been wearing my ring for several years now while we wait to get a new one. Breaking in half 3 times within 3 years is just unacceptable and I'm not going to keep paying to get it fixed.

I had visited this store severally over the years and I bought a diamond earrings from the store about 2years ago. However, I was extremely disappointed with my visit today. I was billed for a service that was never rendered. I had wanted to polish my wedding band and ring with rhodium, and the man attending to me told me the price which I negotiated and agreed for him to go on. I was extremely disappointed when I came back to pick my jewellery. The attendant used several foul words on me, while the owner in arrogance said he did not need my money but still collected it. I feel very cheated!!!

I recently made a work trip back to Houston and got to stop by one of my favorite (family-owned) jewelry stores. I always get greeted with such a warm welcome. Their customer service is always consistent every time I visit. I needed a last minute gift for this upcoming holiday and I love the wide variety of pieces to choose from. The staff takes the time to help me pick and choose from several pieces I have a hard time choosing between and genuinely cares for when I make my final decision. What blew me away even more than the fair pricing was how wonderfully we were treated as we worked through the process of figuring out what we wanted. They are helpful as a first time customer but after that they are unprofessional. My husband bought my ring here and I came to resize and polish it. We had a $50 credit I wanted to apply. They told me they dont keep records so I had to find the little post it note that said we had a $50 and when I paid they charged taxes on the whole amount instead of just the $50. We will not be returning customers. I cant remember the names but the person that said they dont keep records is an older female. Not to mention Ive only had my ring a year and a half and 2 accent stones already fell out!

I came in specifically for a small, Italian gold chain link bracelet after having little to no luck at many other stores. Both of the owners were in the store (which is rare these days) and they helped me find the perfect bracelet. Boriana had the most helpful recommendations on how to wear my bracelet and how to size it perfectly. She even removed some links to help with size and price this was the easiest, fastest and most efficient jewelry shopping I have done and I will absolutely be back. They also offer great drinks while you shop!

I am more than particular and picky about what I like and what I love. I came to Bill with something that only 2 places in Houston actually had in store entirely to accomplish what I wanted. I told him what I wanted and he just listened. Afterwards, he went around his store and grabbed everything that would fit what I asked for. After 1 or 2 showings, he practically put everything I asked for and showed me what I was explaining. He listened and made the PERFECT fit for what I was asking. He heard what I wanted and was able to put that together quickly after a few showings. I am Insanely Pleased with what Bill put together quickly -- AND THEN his shop recreated what we discussed in 3 days. It was/is EXACTLY what I was looking for and he was the only one that could hear or take the time to listen to - what I wanted and was able to recreate it. I would give them 10 stars. I will always go back. I WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND THEM -- Especially to someone looking for something more than the average caliber of jewelry that most people look for!

It is said that Diamonds Are Forever ...... but not enough credit goes to the folks behind the scene that help you find that special Forever Diamond. In my case, I was extremely lucky and equally pleased to have come across Boryana and her staff at Jewelry Depot. Her level of expertise and knowledge when it comes to Diamonds and her patience in dealing with a total novice was amazing. From the get go, the experience I had was one of no pressure charm and cordial hospitality. Even when I wasted no time in exposing my budget, Boryana was more than happy to showcase their collection of stones and settings while explaining the often missed, minute details, in the cuts that made a visible difference to the quality of a Diamond. It took a couple of visits to narrow down and pick the final peice due to the massive selection they have. But I believe the friendly atmosphere and professionalism I observed helped put me at ease and is what guided my decision to buy from Jewelry Depot. After searching what felt like countless stores and speaking with multiple jewel/diamond brokers, I was beginning to lose hope of finding exactly what I had dreamed about. Within a few moments of meeting Boryana, I knew I was in the right place. After only a few days she found the most beautiful sapphire in the exact dimensions I had asked for (what others told me wasn t possible) and then helped my now husband design the perfect engagement ring and wedding band. Needless to say - they gained both a friend and lifelong customer! I cannot recommend Jewelry Depot enough - they are fair, honest, flexible and make absolutely beautiful pieces! When my wife accidently lost the main 1.5 carat diamond stone in her wedding ring set, we needed to replace it. So we dropped in to the Jewelry Depot to fortunately meet Boryana Farkas, the owner, and she did a superb job of educating us on selecitng a new stone, the ins and outs of certifications and appraisals, and steered us to upgrde the stone to 3.33 carats of a beautiful radiance cut diamnd. A few days later, wow - how pleased we are with the work and the new setting. Great service, great work and a very good deal. Go wholesale with JD and never go back to the chain stores!

I had visited this store severally over the years and I bought a diamond earrings from the store about 2years ago. However, I was extremely disappointed with my visit today. I was billed for a service that was never rendered. I had wanted to polish my wedding band and ring with rhodium, and the man attending to me told me the price which I negotiated and agreed for him to go on. I was extremely disappointed when I came back to pick my jewellery. The attendant used several foul words on me, while the owner in arrogance said he did not need my money but still collected it. I feel very cheated!!!

When it comes to a custom experience and a family that has decades of knowledge in the business, this is the place to come! Boryana and Alon worked with me, even with my endless indecisiveness, to create a perfect gold pendant from a sketch that I had made. We worked through different sizes, got a model made, and and then they helped me choose a unique chain to go with it. Alon was extremely helpful and informative throughout the entire process. When I finally met his mother Boryana, I fell in love with her too. She has an intuition that comes with years of jewelry design as a passion and career, and is someone that I could have a conversation with for hours if I was able to. Everything about the experience was personal and genuine. Next time you re looking for something, skip the mall, skip Zales, and definitely don t go to Jared s... Go here instead! Within 6 months of buying a ring at Jewelry Depot, the first diamond fell out of the engagement ring. Since then there has been approximately 5 more diamonds fall out from the band and the halo setting. Most recently the band broke off from the halo setting. The owner thinks this is normal wear and tear for a ring. We havent had a single issue with a custom matching wedding band purchased from a different store. Instead of Jewelry Depot building a properly sized setting when it was first purchased, they assured me that resizing the ring in stock would be perfect. Stay away from this store, they do not stand by their jewelry.

In June, 2019 I lost my family ring presented to me by my father. 1 month later my father passed away. Needless to say I was devastated. My daughter told me about Boryana and her husbands shop. Told me they designed wedding ring for her and she very happy with the beauty and clarity of her ring. She spoke with Boryana, showed her an obscured photo of my ring and asked her if they could duplicate it. Boryana assured her that they would be able to. I drove from San Antonio to meet with Boryana on Saturday. I provided more obscure photos and ask if she was sure, she said yes. Two weeks later, I received a text from Boryana with pictures of a wax rendering of what they sculpted out. I was amazed, you need to understand, this was not an ordinary design, this was a very uniquely designed ring. 2 weeks later, I drove back to Houston to look at an amazingly well sculpted, casted rendition of my ring. The detail was so intricate and so close to the original design, it was remarkable to have been so close to the original from only an obscured photo. The stones had not yet been set, I returned one week later and the ring was complete, as well as an appraisal. We had yet to discuss the cost. I found the price to be very reasonable. I am very pleased with the total experience and would recommend anyone that wants to be treated as family and receive a beautifully awesome product. Thank you so much. Perry Hardmeyer

I got my engagement ring from Jewelry Depot in 2001. I saw their Jeweler making a ring out of wax and wanted to see what it looked it. I knew immediately this was the ring for me. I was able to see what it would look like with the diamonds and then the center stone. When I got the call it was ready, I couldnt wait to go get it. One word: STUNNING!!! To this day I continue to buy my Jewelry here. I also have had several things remade and they all were exactly what I wanted and of course they are Beautiful.!!! Shimon and his wife, Boryana that own the store are extremely knowledgeable and are super nice people. The price of their Jewelry is much more affordable and is of excellent quality. I have given all of my business to Jewelry Depot since 1993. I have never had a piece that was anything but perfect in every way. Price point or quality. I have an extremely small ring size. We started our journey with this company to find an engagement ring for myself. Any company that my husband visited, werevery clear that to make the ring the size that I needed meant the chances of me losing a stone were high. Jewelrt Depot was the only company that could deliver a beautiful piece that I was not nervous about losing my stone. If you take a piece that is in a case at a jewelry store, and size it down to a small sizer size than the average, the prongs lose their durability. Jewelry depot not only was able to give me exactly what I wanted but, they made it in 2 days in time for him to propose without my knowledge. He had gone to a name brand storefront, they took his money and waited six weeks to let them know they could not size it down small enough. We had heard about jewelry Depot so he gave it a try and it became a long journey professionally and friendship with the owners. Since then I have only purchased watches, (Rolex) rings necklaces earrings for my husband and I both from Jewelry Depot even after moving away. I will travel back into town knowing that I will be taken care of. The other comforting thing about dealing with this company is that when a piece is no longer as important as it used to be, they have traded in my pieces and upgraded my jewelry with unbelievable return value making sure I ve kept my receipts so they can track the purchases. I hope this review has eased the mind of anyone making a special purchase for a special person or for yourself.

This is the only place I trust to buy jewelry. The owners are magnificent and treat you like family. They inspire confidence in letting you understand what you are buying, and educating you on different options available to you. They will customize anything to your needs and preferences. When I was buying an engagement ring 17 years ago, they themselves sat down with me and patiently went through many different diamonds, showing me the pros and cons of each diamond, and walking me through which diamond was best for what I was looking for as far as quality and my target price range. They then also speed rushed a customized ring for the diamond in a matter of a few days. When you buy something here, you dont have to worry about how much artificial markup there was - like in a mall-based or chain-based jewelry store, and you dont have buyers remorse about if you got a good deal or not. Finally, you never feel any pressure to buy something or for them to make the sale like you may in other stores - they are glad to educate you, show you the options, and calmly let you think about it and decide - if you buy something great - if you dont, they know - given the good experience one always has - you will come back there the next time you are looking for something. They seem more interested in establishing a long-term customer relationship than on just making a one-time sale. Again, only place I would go to to buy a quality piece of jewelry!

This is the only place in the world I want to have my custom jewelry made. The first piece I purchased was a custom wedding ring for my wife. Several years prior, my wife remarked that she liked the look of a ring we saw online. Luckily I saved the pic because it was a unique design and I couldnt find anywhere that sold the ring when it came time to propose. Thankfully, that picture was all the Jewelry Depot needed to recreate the ring flawlessly (I couldnt afford a flawless diamond at the time, but the design was flawless and my wife continues to get compliments on it 10 years later!). Glad to see others agree that this is the place to go for custom jewelry to your specifications. Prior to my engagement in 2007, I researched diamonds in general and the Houston market specifically. Jewelry Depot was recommended to me by someone. I probably visited 30 other jewelry businesses and I can tell you that no one came close to the value that I received for the cut, size, clarity, and color of the GIA certified diamond ring I purchased. Boryana and Simone and all the staff are experts in understanding what it is that you want and what fits your style, and making recommendations from there, as opposed to simply trying to sell you something. Extremely informed and professional merchants, hard to find these days. With our 10year anniversary upon us we recently went and upgraded the setting from a solitaire ring to a band set with channel cut diamonds to complement the main emerald cut diamond. It is beautiful and admired daily by my wife and I. Whatever you decide, if you are in the market for jewelry, go by and visit with these folks AFTER you have shopped around and before you buy elsewhere!

I spent weeks finding the perfect ring, and the one I liked on their site was the only one I found anywhere that was like it. I was never in the store, did everything online and over the phone, and things worked out very well. I was nervous because it seemed like they dont work that way often, but the ring is exactly what I wanted, and my now-fiancé loves it. The process was a little difficult at first, getting all of the details I wanted and communicating through a mix of text messages and emails, but every time I spoke with Boryana or Shimon on the phone, they were very helpful and wanted to find me exactly what I was looking for. Although they offer a free re-sizing, they did request that I pay for the shipping, which I was happy to do since I liked the ring so much and the original price was so reasonable. They also shipped it overnight each way, so we got it back as quickly as possible.

Hands down one of the best ring shopping experiences we have had. Im an extremely picky woman when it comes to jewelry. My very patient fiance and I had been to 5 stores looking for an engagement ring when we walked into Jewelry Depot by chance and were blessed to meet Shimon and Boryana. Shimon was very patient and professional with the many questions I had about having a custom setting made and the best diamond for our budget. We walked out feeling at peace and comfortable with the proposed design and cost. The final outcome was stunning and beyond our expectations. I receive compliments daily of the beauty of my ring. Both my Fiance and I agree that Shimon and Boryana will be our go to jewelers from now on. They are honest, trustworthy, and create beautiful pieces.
