When I first walked in the gentleman sitting down greeted me as if I was in the wrong place and made me feel a bit uncomfortable. Once the appraiser came out and checked the diamond rings I wanted to sell he gave me a price of $615. The rings cost over $9k. Now I know people will try and lowball you and you won t get anything close to what u paid but that was just a spit in the face. Luckily I took them to this whole in the wall place and they offered me twice the amount.

Offered way less than pawn value for my piece. I echo the sentiments of the other person who says don t come here to sell pieces they are trying to get things for less than 25% of their value. I understand losing 50% for the quick sell and them needing to make a profit on it when they mark it up for value but saying the value of gold is 10 a gram when a quick google shows you the market for the same karat of gold is at 59 a gram is ludicrous.

K was amazing: she made my experience here very worth while, however 1 star due to my overall experience. Originally, I left a 4 star review explaining the situation with Irvin who was extremely rude upon entering the establishment. Irvin didn t want to service our item, stated they don t purchase princess cut diamonds and quickly tried to rush us out the store. . I took a glance around and noticed several princess diamonds in store; that s when K shows up and services us! Shoutout to her. The owner replied to my original review stating my experience wasn t accurate, as if I want to be profiled ??!! I would ve shopped here as a consumer and referred had this not been my experience here. They actually have nice items and deals!!! UPDATE: 5 stars for Karen! 0 stars for experience and racial profiling at this establishment and owner consigned on that behavior. It s 2023, catch up with the times!!!

I have got to recommend spending time speaking with Karen about any jewelry inquiry you may have. I stopped in the other day regarding my wedding set and Karen was the person who allowed me through the secure door system. Don t sell your jewelry here. I read the sellers reviews & wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but it s comedic how bad it was. An old man (I think the owner or manager) asked me what I wanted & I told him that I was looking to sell a tennis bracelet & without even looking at it or knowing it s carat weight or anything at all he asks how much ya want for it? Biggest red flag. I said 2K. I had the receipt for how much I paid for it in my purse as well as an appraisal so I reached in my purse & he immediately tells me that he doesn t care how much it was & how much an appraiser said it s worth. So why even ask me how much I want for it? He offered me $400 for a $4,000 never worn before tennis bracelet that was bought 2 months ago LOL I went to another jeweler & sold it for 2K. Gtfoh. I m so mad I didn t film this interaction.

I took my mother s engagement ring from her first marriage (not my dad) to inquire about selling it. I knew it was a very nice diamond, but I didn t want to keep it since I had no connection to their marriage and obviously it wasn t successful. I d been recommended Houston Jewelry Buyers and read that they would offer the best purchase price. Really nice guys, but I could tell they were holding back information and something told me to take it to a few more places. They made sure to reiterate that everyone always came back to them because they pay the most. I took it to another place and they did offer me less, but I took it to three more places who all offered me more. I ended up getting an additional $4,000 more than what they offered me. Pretty substantial. So moral of the story is make sure you shop around first! Maybe they will pay the most, or maybe you ll end up with $4k more

I have been coming to this jewelry store since I ve lived in Houston (about five years). I don t come in here and spend thousands and thousands of dollars, but regardless, I still get treated with million service. The ambience and the aesthetic of the store itself is very welcoming and the showcases are always very clean and everything looks immaculate. I have always had the pleasure of dealing directly with Michael or Karen, who have always taken care of me, the other day I went in and had a piece of scrap gold, and was given top dollar, and then was able to work out a deal on an engagement ring for my girlfriend. And like I said was treated like I was spending millions. I would recommend this store to family, friends, and complete strangers. After reading all the 5 star comments, I really Wanted to give this place five stars. I called them first to be sure that they would accept or at least be willing to look at my Engagement ring. I was told yes. I took the drive, walked in to be greeted only to have to wait a few minutes which wasnt that bad however if there are 4 others just hanging around on the clock why should I have to wait BUT I DIGRESS! Of course they told me my ring wasnt worth much although I know my husband paid more than a grand for it. I dont know, I felt slighted somewhat because there was another CAUCASIAN family being tended to hand and foot almost. But little ole black me, had to wait although their were others who could have waited on me. Oh well lesson learned.

This place is a real GEM in Houston! I often like the name brand items and that usually means I will be paying for it! This place is ALWAYS giving the best prices. I got this fabulous TOM FORD s Grain Leather Buckley bag recently for an absolute fraction of the retail price! It s stunning, in absolute mint condition. WOW! I always feel like Im getting the best deal and trust me... your boy looking for a bargain. This place has some of the best sales associates. I especially love dealing with Irwin and Victor. Those two guys are THE BEST! Very professional, super courteous....just outstanding people. I came based off reviews thinking I can get max back for my Diamond Anniversary Band 1/3 ct tw Round-cut 14K White Gold. It was in a Zales bag instantly the rep frowned down upon it and told me I wouldnt like their quote. It wasnt taken to the back to estimate. She looked in eyeglass and gave me 1/4 price of ring amount. I really wanted this to be my first and only stop but will shop around not will sell to an individual( which she recommended). Dont come if you have jewelry from Zale,/ Kays any jewelry in that family. I was told they dont give much for them.

Erwin and Victor were wonderful people. I was looking for new places to make connections and this was the place. Erwin was very helpful and super friendly about everything. If there was a question or price Victor would provide that info and give me his best price on everything. I am so pleased that I took my watches here for new batteries. Edwin and the team were kind, informative, *super* efficient, and generally a delight to work with. Had four watch batteries changed, ~$12 per watch in my everyday basic watches, and it was complete in ONE DAY -- No scratches at all, my friends. Aaaaand, they lightly CLEANED my watches, which was a pleasant bonus! I will no longer go anywhere else but Houston Jewelry Buyers for my watch needs.

I was not sure what to expect from this location but I trusted my gut and was not disappointed. I did not get the news I wanted about my jewelry but as it turned out later they were right. I brought in some pieces and was told they were not worth much or was not Authentic. I later took the time to get them tested and looked at and They were correct. I decided to go back and work with the same lady.... Karen to get a custom piece made..... so happy I did She was honest and forthcoming with me. And thats what you want when dealing with jewelry. Gotta leave your Emotions/ sentimental Attachments at home and get right to the facts and value.

Reading through the reviews took me by surprise! I have always gone to Houston Jewelry Buyers. They always give me top dollar and fantastic prices for my pieces. This is my new Rolex that I just bought and Karen was awesome at helping me pick out the face and bezel to customize my watch just for me. As you can see it turned out fantastic!!! I went here with a bag of vintage signed jewelry. The woman who helped me was incredibly rude and snobby. She picked through my things, barely looked at them and dismissed everything as worth nothing. This is a jewelry store in a very rough looking shopping center. I will never go back based on how this woman made me feel. I ll sell my jewelry online from now on.

Just left this location. This was a test and it didn t go well. I wanted to give this place a chance and act like I had no knowledge what so ever of the ring that I was bringing in. I am glad I did. I was very quickly told that my ring was not worth much. The moment I walked in I could tell I was judged and the staff definitely made me feel stupid for even being there. Two feelings you don t want a customer to feel. There was no thank you for coming in or advice on what to do next. I just walked out quietly. I have tens of thousands of dollars of jewelry I am looking to sell, and this was my tester to see the customer service and quality of care to each piece. After this short and impersonal experience I won t be selling anything to them and I suggest you don t either. Never judge a book by its cover.

I have to correct one thing about this store: They aren t buying watches, they re only buying Rolex watches. I gave this 1-star because when I asked for $600 for my Versace watch, they wore sarcastic smiles on their faces. I have some predictions about the reason of their behavior but I don t care so I won t explain. By the way, I sold my watch (Versace Mens Black 43 mm Palazzo Empire Watch VERD00518) for $795.

I drove here from Conroe, arriving nearly 5 minutes before closing time. I had just left a very well known store that specializes in such Jewelry and watched. They were horrible and rude. Needless to say that Michael not only took the time to check every item of ours past closing, the entire staff was very knowledgeable and friendly.
