This was my first time buying jewelry, I knew nothing about diamonds or engagement rings. I was very pleased with the entire experience. The staff was extremely friendly and genuine. Never once did I feel pressured or capitalized. The price was more than fair, and the quality of the diamond and ring could not be matched. After going through the process with a big name jewelry chain and selecting what my girlfriend and I through was going to be her dream engagement ring, we decided to stop by Reiner's Fine Jewelry and look around because why not.

Initially we came in and started to look through their gallery and didn't quite see anything that caught our attention. After talking with them we found out they can do custom pieces, which intrigued my girlfriend a lot since she loved different aspects of different rings found at the jewelry chain but they never quite fully had what she wanted. After waiting for a week for them to get additional diamonds in (after we told them what we were looking for). During our 2nd visit we knew that we wanted to go with Reiner's because they were able to find the right diamond for my girlfriend and I.

After picking the diamond my girlfriend provided photos of what she was looking for in the setting and Reiner's team came up with an amazing CAD mock up. After approving the mock up, the ring was created in a timely manner and was prettier and even more amazing in person.

I can confidently recommend Reiner's Fine Jewelry as my experience was nothing but spectacular.

Recently bought a custom designed ring from Reiner's, I highly reccomend them. The emerald cut diamond they suggested was really good with the qualities that I was looking for.
Total time it took was roughly a month- from the start of my inquiry to final hand-off of the ring.

I am a regular Reiner s customer and always have a great experience. I ve had three rings resized and/or reshanked, all of which were completed quickly (within 1 week) and precisely. The reshankings were so professionally done that you would never know the original ring didn t come with the new thicker band. Most impressively they recently reset my late grandmother s opal in a new halo setting to serve as my permanent engagement ring to replace a placeholder I had, and it was absolutely stunning! Finally, the rings were beautifully cleaned and polished each time I went to pick them up. The staff are very helpful and the pricing is fair. Highly recommend Reiner s for all your jewelry needs!

Went it to see about getting a ring resized that I was told by the original jeweler could not be sized any smaller. Bert was super helpful, walked me through all of my options, and ended up having my ring fixed there on the spot in about 10 minutes. Great customer service and beautiful selection. My lady insisted that we get her ring from Reiner s. She said that it was the most reputable Jewelry store in Houston and it was important to her. I thought that would mean high prices. I was wrong (again). I shopped around and found that they in fact had much lower prices! In fact. All in all they were about 30% lower than the competition. I was shocked. Bert did such a great job helping us design our ring. He was both patient and practical and we are very grateful for him and the way they do business. The ring is so beautiful! Bert treated us like royalty and has 5 star customer service, he took care of me and my fiancé. He made me feel comfortable and met me where I was at. Highly recommend working with him. On the other hand the Caucasian gentleman with the white hair, skinny built gave us a feeling of being rushed like he had somewhere else to be. He had a depressed demeanor when we would ask him a question and he told me to relax like I was a little kid or something. We came back for our pick up and we saw him helping a Caucasian lady and all of a sudden he had the biggest smile on his face while attending her and his whole treatment changed towards her. We are Hispanic/Latino and that offended us deeply. Unprofessional. Management please have a talk with him Thank you, When you go ask for Bert, any and everyday!!

I had two different rings designed and created at the same time - one from Reiner s and another from a local jeweler. Reiner s far exceeded my expectations .especially compared to the other jeweler I worked with. Bert directly contacted me and stayed in touch with updates on my custom ring. He was also able to complete my ring in half the time as my other ring from a different jeweler. Not only was the customer service excellent, but the end product turned out so beautifully. The only con I had was that I picked up the ring and put it on my finger and wasn t offered a box or bag. If you re purchasing a gift, you might need to specifically request a box so it can be gifted properly. Other than that, I had a 5 star experience! I will be using this family business for all future jewelry needs.

I ordered an engagement ring for my fiancé from another jeweler for a surprise proposal and needed it sized up. They took care of it and got it back to me on short notice when othered were quoting weeks. After the proposal, I realized I oversized it and it had to take it back. They graciously took it and corrected it and even cleaned it to look better than when I first received it from the original jeweler. They were absolutely great and I will be purchasing my wedding bands from them when it s time.

I found Reiner s while doing a bit of research on reputable jewelers in the Houston area. My girlfriend and I came into the store essentially knowing what we wanted with the engagement ring. Burt was fantastic and helped us through the entire process. He was really up front about getting the best value for our purchase. The final product looks amazing. Edit: Since we had such a great experience with the engagement ring, we came here for our wedding bands as well. Again, they were exceptional. Both our rings look great. I know absolutely nothing about rings and jewelry. It has never been something I cared about, ever. My partner wanted to get a ring for me to propose with in the future, but we had no idea where to start. This was the first place we tried and I am glad we did. I cannot speak highly enough about Reiners. I personally worked with Bert on a custom engagement ring for about 4 months. We had tons of back and forth and went through I think 6 or 7 design iterations to get the design absolutely perfected. Bert was incredibly proactive and helped me get the best ring I possibly could. I m a student and was really busy throughout this process, Bert was so on the ball he was emailing me asking me what I thought when I would forget to get back to him. Not only was he an incredible asset when it came to designing the ring but he was also immensely helpful when selecting the main stone for the ring. He helped guide me to the right stone and let me tel you, my fiancée couldn t love the diamond more. She loves looking at in the sun and seeing it sparkle. She tells me all the time, she s never seen a diamond that sparkles more . Not only that but Bert and the rest of the Reiners staff are incredibly patient. Like I said, I spent months with Bert designing that ring and a lot of that was me going back and forth on a few points I wasn t sure about. Bert worked with me, giving me his advice and tips and never made me feel rushed or pressured into a decision. If it were possible I d give them 10 stars out of 5. You cannot go wrong choosing Reiners in my opinion.

They cracked my gemstone while doing custom ring and didn t admit that and didn t propose to replace it with the gemstone of same quality, they just made me pay for the ring and gave me no options. Also don t expect them to make a custom jewelry in the measurements and proportions you wanted, for example, instead of 3.14mm they will do 2.9mm and instead of 1.5mm they will do 1.8mm. I don t recommend to deal with this jewelry store, they are dishonest people.

Highly DO NOT recommend. We went there to try an get my ring sized, we had stopped by several other jewelers in the area but we were trying to get it done as quick as possible other locations were weeks out due to Christmas. We took my ring to this place asking about getting it sized. They told me it couldnt be sized due to the stones, no other place had told us that. This place just basically told us that our ring was too cheap for them to work on. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone... but thats ok I did managed to get my ring sized by David Du at Fast-fix, who did an amazing job Ill continue to go to David for my jewelry needs.

Anything worth doing is worth doing right, and procuring an engagement ring was a task that absolutely needed to be done right! I did my due-diligence/research, and went to a number of locations all over the Houston area (even as far as Texas City). While there were a number of contenders, it was Reiners Fine Jewelry that ultimately provided the best experience & the best diamond ring. They are family owned & operated, so I ended up working with Bert Reiner, and I genuinely appreciated his knowledge and professional demeanor throughout the process. We were able to shoot it to each other straight on what I was looking for vs what he had, and there was never any feelings of pushy salesman type pressure. On every occasion, he took the time to let me sit there, and look and deliberate between my top two diamonds; going back and forth between this light and that, inside vs outside, etc.. He maintained this level of help and professionalism, even knowing and understanding that I was looking elsewhere, and may not even buy from them. Reiners knows they have a fine selection and fine customer service, and I would be happy to continue to work with, and recommend them for any fine jewelry needs.

We went to Reiners for a wedding band and a custom engagement ring (adding in two family diamonds). Reiner s did a beautiful job turning bracelet links into a pair of earrings, they worked with us to show options and made sure we were completely satisfied before completing the transaction. Reiners has a nice low key atmosphere, great customer service, and fair prices. I came in looking for a ring setting for an emerald cut diamond. Bert showed me what they had in the store, and we discussed making a custom design. He was very pleasant to work with, very patient and accommodating. Ultimately they made a customized setting based on a ring in stock that wasnt quite perfect for me, and they made further small revisions to be sure I was happy with it. Ill be sure to return for other jewelry purchases and repairs.

I found Reiners Fine Jewelry after doing some research on the best Jewelers in Houston. I was looking for an engagement ring for my now fiancé. I brought in my engagement ring that needed to be sized up a whole 1.25 size and the band was already very thin, but Bert was extremely helpful and comforting in guaranteeing that would not be an issue. Also, since this was my first time ever resizing a diamond ring, I was very concerned about the potential of diamond swapping. However, Bert again was very understanding and patient in providing all the reassurances that helped me feel more comfortable with letting my ring out of sight . They do an inclusion analysis of your diamond for any inclusions or inscriptions beforehand and let you see and note for yourself (turns out my diamond was inscribed!). Then at pick up you check for these inclusions again. Will definitely be coming back for my future jewelry!

My now-fiancé and I had a great experience designing my engagement ring with Bert. He was knowledgeable and never pushy, taking time to explain the details to us without rushing us into any decisions. They were able to source lab diamonds for us to review (and ultimately select) within just a couple weeks of our initial visit. After we found the perfect stone, they worked with us on designing the perfect ring. The process of custom designing a ring was easier than expected, and we got plenty of images before giving the go-ahead so we could be sure the design was what we had envisioned. Overall, we were very happy with the whole experience. They made us feel comfortable the whole time and we felt like the pricing was very fair. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the perfect engagement ring!

I made the mistake this week of taking my antique black opal and diamond ring that my husband bought me for my birthday to Reiners Fine Jewelry to be re-sized. They thinned out the band and changed the shape of the ring, creating sharp angles around the front of the ring. They made the ring too big, and now it slides around on my finger, which will put the opal in danger. They ruined my ring, and then didnt even get the size right. They did not tell me that they would change the shape, and create these weird sharp angles on the band. Ive bought jewelry here in the past, but never again. If they do such an amateurish job on re-sizing, I would not trust their jewelry.

Their customer service was purely disgusting. The staff was very rude, pompous and unprofessional. I didnt catch any names but the guy I spoke to was very aggressive for no reason. The way they treated me, the store might as well had a Whites Only sign in front.

They are beyond amazing! So so helpful. My husband and I went there today to have my ring repaired as the stone was loose. They were able to fix it immediately within a few minutes and they also gave it a quick clean which I was not expecting. They went above and beyond. So happy. Thank you so much. My husband bought my wedding rings from Reiner s. It s beautiful and they did a great job!!! I love it!! And they keep taking care of us when I need it cleaned or when I let a diamond snag out of the setting. We also bought my husbands band there and have had it cleaned and polished, too. Beautiful! I just received mine back after having it cleaned snd polished and will be taking my husbands to have the same done, courtesy of the store if you purchase your ring there.

I recently gotten my engagement ring scratched and needed a place to repair it. My fiancé decided to go to Reiner s due to their good reviews. This place did not disappoint. Everyone is very friendly, welcoming and helped us right on the spot. They only took a couple of hours to fix and the ring came out flawless, like nothing ever happen to it. I ve been shopping here for a few years now - purchases include custom earrings, an engagement ring, and wedding bands. Make sure to ask for Bert! He has been extremely helpful in designing the jewelry, picking the stones/bands, etc. He also has always been quick to respond to a call or text when I had a question. Really no reason for me to go anywhere else! Also, don t let all the custom work they do scare you away. Yes, the products are of much higher quality than you will get at most other places, but you ll find the price point is generally very fair, and you never know when you might be surprised by a good deal. Ditch the overpriced designer pieces that clutter the bigger shops and get the real deal here (they might have a small selection of designer options, but largely they hand make the jewelry for you and charge a margin above what it costs them to make). Turnaround times are very quick when they re custom making pieces (a few weeks is my experience, but I m sure it could vary depending on complexity). Lastly, don t fall for the large store footprint of some of their competitors. The store is a little small, but the selection is great, and their custom capabilities make the possibilities endless. I would highly recommend and will return again in the future.

Theres too much to mention so Ill keep it short. These guys are the go to place for wedding bands in my mind. Let me explain: Im not rich (yet), and I needed a mens wedding band on the cheap. They were very upfront with me about their high quality products at a more affordable price point. They didnt have my size and the style of a stainless steel wedding band I selected in the store but they ordered it and it arrived in no time. Not only that, they set me up with a VERY realistic looking silicon wedding band that was VERY affordable in the mean time. AND when I came to pick up the stainless steel wedding band I arrived late, at close, and they were nice enough to let me in and get my ring despite locking up. They also hooked me up with a sweet swag bag, ring case, etc. These guys are legit. They respected me like any other high roller customer despite my lesser means. Ask for Bert! I brought my emerald ring to Reiner s to be reset into a new setting. Mr. Reiner was very helpful suggesting setting options that could work. I was looking for a ring enhancement for my wife for our 20th year wedding anniversary. I was convinced to come to this establishment because of the great reviews that I saw on line. The service I received today was nothing short of poor! I was greeted by a young white kid, (who didnt even know what a ring enhancement was) I didnt get his name, but he told me that what I wanted would require custom design which was not a problem. He quickly grabbed a plastic bag and told me to leave the ring that my wife was wearing and he would get back to me with a quote without even knowing exactly what style of enhancement or how many diamond carats I was looking for. He spoke fast and acted as though he had better things to do rather than assisting me. I felt very rushed and was truly disappointed with the customer service. Needless to say I went to Deutschs 2 miles up the road and was greeted with excellent customer service and purchased my wife a 3 carat ring enhancement. Im sure this establishment could have provided exactly what I wanted but because of an inexperienced sales representative I went else where. I believe that everyone deserves a second chance but your only married for 20 years once in this life time.

Great customer service. Bought a ring there almost 4 years ago and never had it sized. One of the employees (owner perhaps) has talked me out of getting it sized due to me just having a baby and fluctuating weight changes that accompany that stage of life. Such a great jeweler, I commissioned a custom setting for my now fiancé and the process was flawless! Reiner s used C.A.D. to make a rough draft then a wax mold. All engraving and finishing was done by hand. 10/10 Loved the more relaxed atmosphere, nowhere near as uptight as other jewelers.

Reiners is a wonderful, family-owned jewelry store. I went in on a whim after second-guessing the wedding band that my fiance and I had already purchased at a jewelry store chain. Lenny was immediately helpful in talking me through the different options that would complement my engagement ring. Update - I got your reply but you was showing me a diamonds without certificate and low quality which were used plus you was so rude and ugly. I had my engagement ring sized at Reiners and it was the easiest process, Im simply dropped it off and received a text as soon as it was ready. I felt the cost of $75 was fair since my band was fairly straightforward (no pave, just gold). Great experience with Reiner s on a recent repair. We had a 40 year old ring (fairly low dollar value ring, but lots of sentimental value to my wife) that was coming apart. Reiner s custom jeweler created a mold of the ring and completely rebuilt the ring using the old materials (came out much better than the original). Very fair price and didn t experience any up selling even though this was a comparatively small transaction. Very impressed with friendliness, but even more importantly, professionalism, fairness and quality of workmanship. Would definitely recommend Reiner s.

Excellent customer service! Went in to replace a watch battery and it took mere minutes. They were happy to let me window shop a bit while they cleaned my rings. I had a problem with scratches on one of my rings and they fixed it right up! I met the entire family while I was there, they were so friendly. Will definitely be back. I am new to Houston and I just needed a stone tightened on a ring. I stopped by another jewelry store first and they were really rude to me and also did not want to help me. I googled Reiners and they were super nice on the phone and so I stopped in. The owners were very sweet and welcoming. They fixed up my ring quickly and I was on my way!
