Pawn Superstore

I've never been in a more spacious pawn shop as this one. It was large and spacious as one can tell from the pics I took. It was clean and looks well maintained. IMO as a customer service professional, two things were missing when I walked in:
1) A greeter to welcome me and
2) A customer service rep to check in on me

The one thing that stood out was a Police officer on duty. That was a very prominent figure standing in my line of sight as soon as I walked in. But no one came to welcome me. I even walked around for 10 minutes and not one person said a word to me. That wasn't a good experience for me.

The prices were quite high, even for used tools. Since I know the prices of many tools, their prices were very similar, maybe a few bucks off. It amazed me. Nonetheless, it was a clean place.

Everytime we go here it's never been a bad experience. I guess it helps to that they are the only pawn shop we visit. Within knowing that. I would definitely recommend going here if your ever on the fence about making your mind up.

I’ve been coming here since I was 17, whether I was looking for a gold chain or pinky ring, and today at 25 I got my wedding band and my wife’s set!
Everyone in this store is amazing, but the manager Ashley Apple takes the win! She has always been so helpful and always went above to make sure I left satisfied and with a good deal! 1000xs recommend this place!

Although this business has a variety of high quality items such a jewelry and appliances, their customer service is horrible. Gilbert helped my husband as he was looking for new pieces of jewelry to add to his collection. He was very rude, short- tempered, agitated for whatever personal reason, and overall one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered.

Very nice store ! I always shop here there always so nice and polite but this time I went during the holiday season and even got a gift card from target from them ! Wow I wasn’t expecting that ! A good store to shop other than that the store gives very good items in great shape I’ve bought here cameras console accesories laptop and tablet and everything has been working well so far no complain

My custom demon slayer plates were taken off my ps5 while they had it. I was given 2 different stories about the plates. The 1 person told me they take them out when items go on the floor for sale. Saw an ad on FB Marketplace for a DSLR and went there the morning of, and Jr was a big help and had so much energy! The camera was very well priced and in great condition too!

100% reccomend this place. I was treated well and felt very welcomed. Prices are reasonable and affordable. I was attended by Ms. Elizabeth Martinez and her being bilingual helped alot. I am also bilingual but prefer spanish more since I am still in the process of gaining confidence speaking the language. She saw I was struggling with some english terms and helped me with my prefered language. She made my experience very memorable and welcoming. I will definetely be going back!

I was out of town and had a payment coming up on an item I had pawned, I called to let them know I would be out of town and I will get there as soon as I can and make a payment the lady told me, no problem we allow a few days for instances like this 6 days after the payment due date I get there to make a payment only to be told that I was late so they had pulled my Items and already sold them to someone else. I will never do business here again.

Ive bought and sold a lot of guitars over the last five years, but never from a pawn shop until a few weeks ago when I bought an Alvarez Masterworks dreadnought from American. It was one of the best deals Ive ever gotten. I cleaned it up, polished out some scratches, and put strings on it. Im very happy with that purchase.

Yeah, if you are familiar with how the store looked pre-Covid you d be very disappointed in this place currently. This used to be the place you can go to find almost anything saddles, dirt bikes, guns, sporting gear, bows for archery, tools !! POST- COVID . Empty freaking store WOW!!! Tried to get a loan for my lv crossbody and Tom Ford sunglasses that are REAL not replicas and they were going to give me 120. I waited 40 mins for them to Verify my purse for them to tell me it s unverifiable and they can t take it I didn t wanna sell it just wanted a Loan. Just know if it s designer vintage have a receipt.

Not much to see (buy) here anymore. Used to be FILLED with EVERYTHING imaginable. Now its just wide open space with a few items in a few glass cases (jewelry and firearms).

This place is awesome. I feel like every time I come here just to browse I end up coming home with a new piece of jewelry because their prices are so good. A friend of mine suggested I go to this Pawn Superstore since I was looking for a custom made bracelet. I was very surprised how affordable the prices were. The guys here at the pawn superstore is always so friendly and helpful. They treat everyone with respect not like most pawnshops. I love the guy that always helps me I believe his name is Joseph but dont hold me to it. So everyone save your time and stop by here first. They also have all kinds of good specials. Used to come here all the time used to be the only place I did business with. Brought in a very high end hk gun for loan, was told that he would only give me $400 for a $4000 gun. Because of the market, it would not sell. Obviously this guy didn t know what he was talking about!! Was very rude about it, even after explaining I had been a long time customer.

Way over priced on guns they only gave $200 for. I wanted at .45-70 and all they had was a Henry model for $1500. What the hell, I can get a new one for $800. I will never be back Response to your very unprofessional reply. I did buy a Henry .45-70 for $799 plus tax from Atwoods. Your price is way overpriced and you know it.. I would post the picture if it would let me.

Minimal inventory, defective merchandise and no cash refunds only store credit. Why would I want store credit when anything is liable to be defective. Only informed of the no cash refunds after the 40 minute return trip. Disappointing for sure.

Went there today to do some Christmas shopping. Started looking at jewelry and they came over the radio and said I had to put a mask on. I just had sinus surgery and have a big splint on my nose. I guess Ill go spend my money elsewhere. Ive been to a couple stores since my surgery and have not had one single person order me to put a mask on, in fact have received well wishes and get better soon most places Ive been. Its a shame they felt a need to demand I wear a mask despite a legitimate medical exception.

This is a store to stay away from took a ring to have diamond replaced total loss! Ashley the jeweler claimed she sent the ring off 3 times to get fixed properly w/out success. She then sold me a womans ring that I didnt like and she didnt give any options on giving me my money back so if you dont want to lose money and time PLEASE DONT SHOP HERE!

I have been coming here for years. always very kind people! Also they always have a police officer in shop(Heck he even opened the door for me a couple times!!! ) Always makes me feel a LOT safer walking in. I am about to try and find a ring for my wife and that is outside my knowledge base. I say that to ask this.... Gabriel sold a generator out from under me when I tried to prepay for it he said it wasnt necessary. I drive over an hour here and he tells me they sold it and they didnt have anything close to make it right. Awful awful way to run a business and Gabriel needs something done because that was straight up Bs.

Walked in 20 minutes before closing because no other store was open and looking for a new xbox that I need for tomorrow morning so I probably would have bought whatever they had at this point but unfortunately I guess they didn t want any money because nobody acknowledged me. Nobody even looked up from either talking to one another or from doing their closing duties so that they can leave right at 9. So to the owner of this store, you have hired a bunch of lazy workers who care more about leaving right at 9 than to get another customer. Not a customer who is asking for money, but for a customer who was just going to give it to you! So congrats, hope y all all made it out by 9pm that y all worked so hard at!

This place is very picky when it comes to pawning or selling an item or items to them. They wont buy anything unless a well known expensive name is attached to it. Even then, they will offer you a fifth (1/5) of what it is worth, and when you try to negotiate, they dont even work with you on the price. They do seem to have quality items for sale in the store, but at a price that is so high, your better off buying brand new. The power tools they have for sale are damn near at retail prices. Other than that, the staff is friendly and helpful and the store is well organized and easy to navigate.

Buyers beware I went into the store to check out what they had. So i liked a 3mm franco so i asked to see it. The guy told me it was 33 grams but when I picked it up it felt more like 19 or 20. I had a 24 gram weight chain around my neck, and their chain was lighter than that. If youre buying gold here make sure they weight it before you dish out the dough.

I called to get a price of how much i could get for my tv as a loan. The young lady that took my call asked for the brand and model number and she did her research came back with an offer of $300.00 up to $350 on a loan. I will take my tv To them tomorrow .. Great service over the phone.. Great nice and honest people.. Ive bought from them and they all ways have excellent prices and will give u a better selling price when u ask them , they will work with. I used to go to you guys very often when i lived closer by. Yall were excellent for all transaction types be it a loan, sale, or purchase. Never liked that the used firearms mostly always are tagged at 5% or 10% below the price of the same gun would be new. I get the idea of working deals and flexing the price at my request which is why i always still bought and sold firearms with you guys. Fast forward to 3 years to present and over the last 3 weeks I have been back to see you guys twice the first time with a compound bow in excellent working condition just apparently too old and most recently tonight with a great electric stand-up Bass and two older watches one of them a manual wind-up watch that was still working perfectly. Sure the electric stand-up bass didnt have a brand name printed on it yeah it had minor cosmetic issues but it still function perfectly and had all of his parts and pieces. 12 times over these last few weeks I was turned away for everything I brought up to you guys. I wasnt asking for much hey I didnt even get a chance to ask for anything because I was turned away. I know that you guys make your decisions based on the fact that youre running a business but you know what both of these times I would have taken drastically less than what these items could have resold for I guarantee it. I would have taken $5 for the bow and I know you could have sold it for five times that and a $25 for a compound bow it probably would have been purchased the very next day. Here i am trying to find a way to feed myself and my dog and YES that is not your fault and not your responsibility, but you should know that you could have helped me out as i am in the position i am in. And i garauntee you would have still made both a potential 500% profit on the resale and a thrilled customer whomever got the good deal. Anyways perhaps ill use the bow to find a rabbit or squirrel or something that way I can eat hope you guys have a good night

My experience today wasnt good. Tried to sell a tv its just been sittin around. Unbothered. After the rep turned it on checked it out she claims theres a dark spot at the bottom which usually means the screen is goin out. I think not the settings were dim on the tv..ive taken many tvs in to this location and ive always seen them adjust the settings and stuff. So i took my tv and left. Thanks!

Today I took a friend who doesn t speak English, so she wanted to sell some jewelry that she thought were Silver. A hispanic guy treated us very kindly ... but a black man, i guess was his superviser, came to check the jewelry and he said that was all trash.. I think the black man thought I did not speak English ... I think it was an attitude and a rude comment ... he should learn to treat the public

I took in a Rolex that my father gave me 25+ years ago. They took it to the back and came back out with a watch that had been taken apart and were incredibly rude as they pointed out the serial numbers had been rubbed off which is impossible since its been on my wrist for over 20 years. They screwed up the clasp and it has since fallen apart. It hasnt kept time properly since that day either. and strangely enough the scratch I made in it with my tooth 15 years ago has suddenly vanished. I took it back to have them fix the clasp they screwed up and once again I was met with apathy at best.. If you go there id advise you to not let your belongings out of sight !!!

Bought a ring as a surprise Valentines gift. The ring was really big and I didnt know my girlfriends size. So the sales lady told me she could size it for free to a size 7 which is average she said, so I said ok. Well it didnt fit. My girlfriend is a size 7 1/2. So when I took it back to get it sized, she charged me because she said they charge to upsize it but not to downsize. So had she told me that from the get go, I wouldnt have let her make it smaller till I knew my girlfriends size. Ugh! Not a happy customer.

Need better training took an item there to get a loan and was told that it was fake after I showed them the serial number and I stated that I had purchased this they still denied my loan due to my appearance went to a pawn shop 2 miles down the street literally and they gave me my loan no questions asked the manager Cesar needs to go back to training to be able to be able to identify whats real and whats fake and not to profile customers by their appearance. Saw the large billboard while passing thru town and decided to stop on by. We got out and went in with our well behaved and trained dog, after checking to see if there was a sign not allowing dogs (there wasnt). Upon entering we were told no dogs allowed (despite 100°F temp outside.) Upon turning and walking away we were told come back and see us again. No thanks.

American Pawn is as crooked as they get. You don t get fair market for anything you take them. If your one day late on your payment, forget your valuables. Their staff has removed them, tells you it sold and I hear the staff divides up the expensive items for themselves. Most pawn shops call you when you item or payment is coming due. These crooks never do or will.

This place is crooked as hell, had a pushmower bought as a gift for Christmas because we bought a new house with a yard and didnt have one yet. Pulled it out for the first time and got it ready to go. Cranked it up and LITERALLY mowed for 20 minutes before dying. Tried restarting it and the mower has lost compression. Now the best deal they can offer is a, and I quote a heck of a deal on another one............im thinking not. Will not darken that door way again

Stop by for a break from traffic! This place is nothing like those TV shows, they will work with you if youre being reasonable. Ive gotten all my guns here. Ive gotten all the TVs for my house here. The restrooms are clean and extremely modern. I stopped by to check their inventory constantly on the way home from work, and youd be smart if you did the same. You might steal a deal for me. If youre trying to sell musical equipment, venture somewhere else. Better luck online, like Craigslist, or through the hassle of Guitar Center. Youll be taken as a fool with the low-balling prices they offer on high end, great condition equipment. Tried to sell a 4x12 speaker cab that originally cost $300, they offered $50 at most like i was an idiot. Of course, their deals on most other stuff is usually fair, music equipment, not so much.
