I only gave you a 2 star because I’m grateful for the loan, that’s one. And 2 is I have been very miserable since I got this loan. We get a loan and no longer than 2 weeks later we have to make our first payment. So I make my first payment and wowwwww the balance went down. Go to log in a couple days later and I’m back to square one! Then a couple days later I log back in because I want to know if I missed any wording in the loan agreement. Check my balance and it’s more than what I borrowed. This doesn’t make sense to me one bit. I should have read the reviews before I listened to my daughter about a loan with these people! I just needed a new bed and a couch. I was better off getting a loan with UPSTART or BEST EGG. It’s one flat payment every month. Once this loan is paid off I WONT be getting another one, and also I WILL NOT recommend RISE CREDIT to anyone. Not even my worse enemy. Now I have to strategically see how I’m going to get this loan down as fast as possible. Thanks for the loan and the heartache at the same time..

They are very transparent about their fees. If you're really desperate and need something in an expedient manner, this might be your solution. For me? I decided not to even sign the paperwork or finish the verification. I was approved for $4500 but the interest is astronomical. I'm better off doing a mix of the snowball method and avalance method to pay off debt. I put $700 towards that every month and will have debt cleared in 8 months. I'll be paying a total of $6000 this way. Even though my payments would only be $567 a month with this company, it would take 36 months to pay it all off and in the end, I would be paying $20,000. Even paying extra every month would still make me pay a lot. This isn't the right fit for me but it might be the right fit for someone else.

Avoid Rise Credit at all cost. While the access to the credit is easy and their terms are laid out clearly, taking a loan from Rise will not put you in a better position. I took a $2,000 loan with Rise during an emergency and my payments were $289 a month with less than $100 a month going toward principal. After making $1,700 in payments the principal went from $2,000 to $1700. Taking a loan with Rise will only cause more harm to your situation.

I received a invitation in the mail with a code. I want to pay off 2 credit cards with very high interest rates( like 20 percent) i know, got them when I was trying to fix my credit, I have since and now I want to pay them off,Figured I'd use this credit card for that. I almost finished completing the online application. But, I dont want to go forward with this until it is clear as to how much my interest rate is going to be. I keep reading here in the reviews of how hight the interest rate is. But no one is posting how high. Its pointless for me to get another card , to pay off my other cards, if the rate is going to be the same. But, on the other hand I like the reviews about customer service and speedy delivery of funds.

Update: Re-applied now that my accounts havent shown negative using Chimes line of credit. Denied for supposed insufficient transaction history from Plaid. Clearly, their system is just sucking up personal data. 0/5 Plaid shows lines of credit on checking accounts as negative balance, and RISE Credits system treats it as not in good standing. Just watch out.

Trash company!!! I was approved for a loan they verified everything about me, submitted all the docs they asked for, electronic signed for everything including the terms of the loan, 30 minutes get an email saying I was declined called and asked why I was declined they werent able to give me a straight answer. Company is trash , they claim it was the system and they cant physically change the application

I got a letter in the mail that said I was approved for 3500 dollars with a code to put in did it on my phone when they told me what my payment would be and how many months so on a 3500 dollar loan they said my payment was 444.51 for 32 payments that adds up to almost 14thousand dollars I would have to pay for just 3500 dollars you guys are worst the. I needed a loan to pay my rent after I lost work hours due to the recent hurricane and storms . I was approved for a loan but they made a mistake by sending the loan through a paper check that will take 7-10 business days when I requested direct deposit . I m so upset with this company they are scammers they had me send over all my information bank statements social security cards and Id and then said I was approved had me sign the documents and agree to a repayment schedule just to send me another email stating that I wasn t approved and I fell that is so wrong (sadly it made me post one star)

Went through the whole application process. I also verified my identity, sent a copy of my DL, SS card, and bank statement. Received an email stating that I was approved to log in an sign my loan agreement 6/1/24. Received another after stating that my account was created. Reviewed the loan agreement and the terms seemed fair. Was advised that I would receive funding 6/3/24. Received an email yesterday morning stating that my loan was denied due to them unable to verify my account. Such a disappointment. This was my first time trying to get a loan with this company and just problems from the start. I do not recommend this lender because they seem to not communicate effectively with each other within their dept. Customer service all the way to underwriting just lack of transparency. If I was not approved then they should have stated that from the beginning. They lied and told me that I was, asked me to sign my loan agreement which I did, and then the day before funding, emailed me and stated that I was denied. Just a waste of time!

Ok I just paid off a $2500 loan after I think a year and a half of ASTRONOMICAL payments. That said, they re TOTALLY transparent about their fees. It s an insanely high interest rate and you can pay it off quickly to avoid the interest. I didn t so they made a ton of money on me. But I signed up for that. They were nice. They funded my account quickly. The website is easy to navigate. They are useful in an emergency. It did build my credit a little. I had no missed payments and I think no extensions. $2500 loan and $325 a month for like a year and a half. So you do the math. I gave 5 stars because there were no hidden fees. No surprises. People coming on here whining about paying so much like, that s not really a reflection of the company. They have a service you can take advantage of for a cost. And you will pay dearly. Just like I have. But, I can only thank myself for being irresponsible for so long that I have to use companies like this is emergencies. My credit got built up though so. There s a bonus!

For 7 payments (every 2 weeks) on my loan and my balance is still higher then the loan started. This company is a thieving scam conartist trove. DO NOT GET STUCK IN THE CRAP. Although I was in serious need of funds this company is a predatory lender the interest rates are gouging very difficult to pay down this loan most of all Im paying down interest and hardly any of my payments go towards principle at this rate 3500 loan will cost me 12K and estimated payoff to occur over 3yrs. I applied for a loan in desperate times and was approved. Prior to being funded I was able to cancel the loan and avoid the 150% April. Rise credit confirmed my loan was canceled and then proceeded to withdraw the money from my account without ever funding it. So now this scam company has taken 1500 of my money, and wants me to wait 14 business days to return it, and no they are not offering me the same 148% ripoff rate they were going charge Mr. Ive filed with the BBB and government agencies. This rise credit company preys on and takes advantage of people in tough times. There is no help for them, they are evil

DO NOT USE RISE. THEY DO NOT PROTECT CONSUMER DATA AND REFUSE TO DEACTIVATE ACCOUNTS On 6/14, I received an email from RISE CREDIT that the email on my account has been changed. This is the second time this has happened. The first time was on May 4th. I had to call in and have my information changed. So, on this second occasion, I did the same. The representative I spoke with is Sherane (refused to provide last name). The most she could do is submit a ticket to have my account blocked (which could take up to 2 days). She confirmed that in the mean time, my information is unsecured. I asked if they could deactivate my account but she said there is no way to do that. RISE Credit -Is unsecure with customer data -weak in consumer protection -They refuse to deactivate my account, leaving my personal and financial information open for further breaches.

The customer service is great. But Interest is ridiculous. 5,000 finance fee on a $3000 loan. Youre better off going through your own bank or credit union. Dont get stuck in these loans.

Typical loan shark company. I was fully approved after filling out their requirements and was told the $ would bein my account today or tomorrow. 4 hours later I get an email asking for a picture of my DL, SS card and bank statements. I gave them the bank statements online as is their requirement up front... called to see what was going on and it was an Indian call center. I have gotten 10 calls from Mumbai today since filling out their app. Id bet I get my identity stolen in the near future now to. STAY FAR AWAY! PS. I love how it shows 4.6 stars under their reviews when everyone I see is 1 star.

BEWARE!!! They do NOT act in good faith!!! Thought I had a good relationship with them until it became time for payoff!!! I called this company for very specific payoff information last Friday, March 24th. I understood that interest accrued daily untiI they received my payment, so i specifically asked them to include the interest for Saturday the 25th as I was mailing them an overnight payment in full. The amount I owed as of Saturday would have been $4168 TOTAL. I proceed to send them an overnight UPS for that amount. They received my check just before noon on Saturday and was physically tracked by UPS with very specific delivery proof. NOW, they say I STILL owe them ANOTHER $65 (WITH INTEREST ACCRUING DAILY) even though they had my payment in their possession for payment in full as of Saturday. I have emailed them proof of delivery TWICE that they received it on Saturday, yet they SAY they didnt receive it til the 28th, and are STILL charging me interest on money that I DONT OWE THEM. What should have been a simple matter has effectively turned into a situation in which they need to compelled legally to comply with their end of the contract. If you decide to use them, you are doing so at your own risk. Their customer service is non existent as every person on the front line is helpless and ineffective in solving the matter. Good luck with the endless emails that you send for response.

I was in a bad car accident & missed some work. I wasnt able to make my payment on time & asked for a two week grace period & asked for the autodraft to stop. They set up an autodraft for two weeks out & continued to send me collection notifications & continued to autodraft from my account costing me a lot of money in bank overdraft fees then refused to pay for their mistake. I borrowed $5k about 8 months ago, paid $570.00/month & still owed over $5300 on the loan. I paid it off with a consolidation loan from another company. Please be sure you know exactly what youre getting into. No grace with Rise!! Their interest rate is out of this world! Buyer beware!

I paid off my loan and now they are saying that I took out another loan and they mailed me a check for the funds but I never took out another loan with them

Dear Person needing a loan, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do NOT use Rise Credit!!!!! It is extremely expensive credit and a huge burden on your bank account!!! Dear Rise Credit, Yes I signed the agreement to pay an astronomical interest rate that accrues on a daily basis. Shame on me. I also did not miss one single payment. I called to get the payoff amount and sent a check for the exact amount that I was told. The check was received and applied to my account before my next due date, however I still owe $41 because it accrues interest daily. Shame on you. Your representatives should be trained to calculate the daily interest to give an accurate payoff amount! #NEVER AGAIN #lessonlearned

I read some of the lowest reviews and I m confused..I have received 3 to 4 loans from Rise starting almost 10 years ago and I never had any of these problems that I m seeing in the reviews. Rise always provided great service to me and my husband and I was totally satisfied.

Scummy practices operating on amateur levels. There are many other places to use that have better everything pretty much. Their vagueness really set the tone. (To Rise reply - you give bogus excuses to people and treat returning customers like garbage. Take a hint by some of the other reviews. Take your business elsewhere folks.)

Rise Credit is a legal loan shark. I started out paying my loan on time and then all of a sudden they started saying I wasnt paying. I was on automated payments. Now they are saying I owe all this back money. I am going to pay Rise Credit off and never look their way again. Big disappointment.....

Stay far far far away from this company!!! I knew the interest was high but good lord. Had a 5k loan and the first 4 payments of 521 went all to interest and not one dollar towards the actual loan!!! Called them to get some clarification and they said that at first your payments go towards interest. That s insane. Please for the love of God find any other way to get the money you need before using this company

If you need a direct deposit make sure you check mark it because they are NO HELP GETTING IT CHANGED if you check mark mail. It is going on 5 days now hell it could have been mailed by now.

No problem getting a loan first time. I paid off loan and a month later tried to apply for another loan and bank info is not on plaid..my first loan you could put bank info in loan process and now you cant. They still have my last bank information in there system.so I dont see what the problem is now..thinking about getting attorney and filing fraud on company. How can I put bank information in on first loan and not be able to now

Worst place to get a loan for people who really need help! I am a mother of 2 and a single parent. I needed some extra help just with this month and these people will give you a loan with a 101% interest and expect you to pay the loan back is impossible. You pay 400$ just so more then half can go to them. Never again will I go through these people.

I got a $5k loan with Rise and paid it off early. I then reapplied and was unable to proceed because they couldn t verify my income or identity. Repeat customers are treated like trash. I would not recommend.

Got a $1,500 loan in December and have paid $1,000 since then and my balance is still $1,150 (April). They really take advantage of people.

This company will make it very easy to approve you for a very high interest rate loan. Most people that use this company have challenging credit and are just happy to get approved so don t let the good reviews fool you. They will con you into making additional payments with the promise that they will match your payment and then when you do as they asked and confirm with several representatives they will make up reason for not crediting your account. If you are in need of financing that bad I would recommend going to Upgrade. They are way more transparent. They don t play these stupid games and their representatives seem to understand how to do their jobs instead of blaming their incompetence on their system not updating. Stay away from these guys.

It is an easy process and pretty much as advertised. However, be aware that the interest rates are astronomical (if you are unable to pay off early you will pay 3 times or more the loan amount back). And despite what their website says, the interest rate will never be reduced. So buyer beware. There are probably cheaper options out there if you have the time to look for them.

Apparently they do not verify that the name matches the SS# so my account does not have my name on it. I just want to get my banking info changed and it has been the biggest aggravation I have ever experienced. I have been trying to accomplish this for 2 freakin weeks. Ugh...

Interest rate are too high read agreement policy carefully I thought I could pay it off early and only get charge for the Interest rate for the 4 month I had it but was told I ajve to still pay the full amount after I made over a 1000 dollar in payment would not recommend if you want borrow money. They also apply about a 9 dollar fee a DAY..so it you add that up its all Interest you are paying for my biggest mistake was to use this site

I called the company for a payoff amount they said they could not help me. I just dont understand I want to pay my bill without it going into default. Now if I let it go into default Ill get all kinds of calls with a payoff amount. Once I get this paid I will never try to borrow again and I would not recommend this company to anyone. I was in a jam.and need it.

This is a last resort , or emergency based loan. I had an expected expense, in need a loan of a larger amount. Funding was as promised, but there was a huge delay in accurate credit reporting . I literally paid the loan off in a few months , had this huge loan balance on my credit report for months after loan was paid in full . It reports payments every 30 days but not loan payoffs until 90 days later . I regret this loan , choose wisely.
