Today I have purchased my second vehicle using Fort Worth City Credit Union. Words cannot describe the level of appreciation that I have for this team. Brittany, Olga, MacKenzie, Sandra, Odie and Samantha are by far the most professional team that I have EVER worked with. I even had a more difficult case as my previous vehicle was stolen on 7-16-24. They worked with me and were able to get me approved pretty quickly. They are very transparent and work very hard as not not waste your time. Initially I thought my husband and I had a great experience but turns out I was wrong. We opened up a joint account and an additional personal account. The process took about 30 minutes. It was a pleasant experience. Later on in the day we were contacted by the stated they will be closing our accounts because chexsystem said I had multiple names and Ssns. This confused me, we set up the accounts, received our cards and everything. To call customers back and tell them they no longer have accounts is very unprofessional. The lady was also very rude and impaitent. We had already set up direct deposits. Its such a same we wasted all that time just have our accounts closed hours after opening them.

I opened an account for my non-profit yesterday. It was the easiest account set up I have ever done. I sent in all of my paperwork and signed it online. Then went to pick up my debit card the next day. So, so easy! Super impressed. Samantha was professional the entire time but was also very personable and hospitable during the process. She made the procedure of getting pre-approved for a loan, seamless. I suggest the managers / administration of FWCCU update their no parking signs in their parking lot. My car was towed on Sunday 1/22/33, while attending the FWSSR. I parked in the parking lot around 11:00a & the parking lot was basically full obscuring all the low mounted & not very visible no parking signs. I also suggest the CU place barriers at the entrance to their business, like other businesses on Montgomery St. did, if the managers of the CU don t want visitors to the #FWSSR visitors using their parking lot, when the CU is closed. I ve been with FWCCU for 40 plus years it used to be a fantastic place to do business. It had a hometown feel with employees who treated you like family. Unfortunately, it has become more of a corporate mentality where you are no more than a number. Let me also add the cards that were mailed, but never arrive. And there was the trip to NM when my card was disabled for suspected fraud and when I called I was schooled by an employee for traveling out of the country without letting them know. I could go on and on.

I am so sick and tired of how many times theyve messed something up with either my families accounts or getting a card to me. I had to cancel a card due to a fraudulent charge that they caught (hence why this isnt a 1 star). I had them give me a new card. I cant go into the place due to my work hours. So they said it would get to me in 7-10 business days. Its been 2 weeks. I have bills I cannot pay because they were tied to my previous card. Im going to have late fees that I know are gonna be higher now because Ive had to ask for extensions. I called and now theyre telling me that cards are taking 3 weeks to get to people. First it was 7-10 business days. Now its 3 weeks?! Get your story straight, FWCCU. Im this close to closing my account here and taking my money elsewhere. Thanks for nothing!

I had a truck financed through the FWCCU a few years ago for a great rate with zero issues. I just obtained a new loan for another vehicle. My loan officer was Samantha, shes awesome. I was able to get an application, approval, and funding within a matter of days (all online in conjunction with Carvana). She made the process smooth and I greatly appreciate her assistance. Ok I have banked a long time and This bank has gotten TERRIBLE. Finally got me fed up enough to roast them. This bank is Definitely a bottom of the barrel bank. If it wasn t so inconvenient to change banks I would have long ago. They take a week or longer to respond for loan status. By the time they respond you don t need the loan anymore or have went somewhere else. Updated app show open til 6 on Friday . . They re not. After hours banking assistance or if your on vacation and want to increase your spending limit ?? GOOD Luck! Manager has to sign off , let me try to get a hold of her they won t be able to. and 7-10 days to send you a new debit card , which I never received. Want a motorcycle or boat, it s recreation so we can only give you 80 percent of what it s worth. Oh it s in another state sorry we only give loans for Texas cars truck and motorcycles. GOOD LUCK guys !!!

Ive has this Bank a pretty long time and there are some great people who work here but then its people who need to be removed or just plainly replaced this is a great place just Do everything in person never over the phone they cant be rude or anything nasty in your face.

We needed another vehicle and decided to go through the Credit Union. Our loan officer, Samantha Penny, was beyond awesome!!! She was very knowledgeable and helped us throughout the whole process. I definitely recommend her!!

Samantha Penny at FWCUU is the best! She is always a pleasure to work with. Time & time again she always makes our banking experiences so effortless and easy! My husband & I both work long hours & never off together. Samantha works up all our requests from online to e-signing docs thru e-mail so we don t even have to come in. Excellent service & treated like a priority every time!

I had the best service and best knowledge and fast with SANDRA V. I highly recommend contacting her for any financial needs. She took the time to explain my credit and how I can fix it. Patience and knowledge is hard to find , but with Sandra you learn. The Credit Union is lucky to have a worker like her.

Man, I am so thankful for this place. They were able to offer me the lowest interest rate for my car loan, and it honestly wasn t even close. The entire staff was so helpful throughout the entire process, and Samantha Penny really does go the extra mile for you. If you are looking for a loan, the conversation starts and ends with FWCCU. Best experience banking ever. Samantha, Sarah and Hannah are all amazing. They helped us set up accounts, get a car loan and a credit card. Cant believe the low interest rates. Also, you can text them. First time ever texting a bank. Im so glad we found you.

Samantha is wonderful! Let me start off by saying not only have I financed & refinanced a hand full of vehicles with FWCCU and only working with Samantha, her communication response is amazing. One of the main reasons purchasing a vehicle is so easy for me is because I know Samantha will respond quick and get me approved/signed up the same day with no trouble.

I am so impressed with the level of service I receive from the wonderful people at Fort Worth City Employees CU! I have honestly lost count of how many auto loans they have helped me with. Sandra Vallecillo did Ana amazing job helping me with this Car buying process. It was quick, easy , and efficient. I was not looking forward to starting it at all but she made the experience amazing. We got Everything done within 2 days and she even spoke with my dad in Spanish to help him understand as well. Loved the service, Fort Worth city credit union is really lucky to have someone like Sandra. I absolutely love banking with FWCCU!!! Samantha Penny is amazing!!! We have financed every vehicle we have ever owned here as well as an RV and a new AC system! She always returns our calls the same day and loans are processed immediately!!! She is so personal and very good at what she does!! Our interest rates are amazing and the option to pay semi monthly is incredible. We will never bank anywhere else!

Used to be a really good bank they used to really care about there members. Its sad to see that they let their employees talk to their members however they want and then when you confront them about it they said well do you have any proof so whoever is reading this make sure you record your phone calls with them because they have drop down its very sad I was a member with them for over 13 years. When I had a complaint I have three people trying to go against me Im so happy I dont bank with them no more a very very sad bank now stay away!!!!

I have been banking here for about 11 years maybe a bit longer and can say this is a great bank. I have always been treated well and fairly. I have used their online services and a small loan and have never had a bad interaction. I have been very happy banking with FWCCU

If I could give FWCCU a minus 5 stars, BAM! Its the only review they deserve. They have no interest in your business if you have small numbers. They have no interest in your business if you do not have daily activity on your account. The customer service at Ft. Worth City Credit Union is absolutely pathetic. If you want to do shared banking with another CU, FWCCU is not a viable choice because they just dont need your business.

I was not able to ask them to change their hours on here. But, on Friday, their drive thru closes at 5 p.m. They should change the hours because I have seen a lot of people go after 5 p.m. and be asked to leave and they are not that friendly about it.

It took one hour to deposit a check and to have papers notarized. They lock you out of your account for no apparent reason. They put a hold on a transfer from another savings account without explanation, so the money is not available. Their terms on loans are horrible. They only have one branch that meets all needs. I am finding another way to bank. A friend who switched to another credit union told me I should change years ago. I should have listened. Thank goodness there are better choices. 8/30/19- I think this is retribution for the above post. They denied a payment request from my electricity provider and funds were available. There was never a problem before. I dont know any other reason for the denial. So, I will report them to the right authorities. I am now waiting for my new direct deposit form to go into effect.

Trying to sign in to my account once a month is not a workable thing. While Casey is great I am not going to bother her each month to sign in. Once again I received the temp password, added the last 4 digits of my SS and once again it did not work. The security questions do not work either. So why even have a account? I opened the account in 1967 and then you had to actually go to the CU to do do business. But, now with computers you can do it at home, unless you try to sign in, that seems to screw it all up. Nice CU near the house, think I will stop by and see if they have an improvement of availability of service that I could prevail on.

Fraudulent activity was suspected, I was called by a very nice team member, the transaction(s) stopped immediately and the occurrence was handled professionally. Thumbs up! As far as on a more personal level, Ms Sarah Whitt, is an asset to this credit union, beyond compare. She is the most professional, sweetest and most friendly team member there, and any where else I have ever done business. She has a genuine concern for you as an individual, not just as an account holder/ member. And that means more than I can ever express appreciation for. Ten STARS!

I very rarely write reviews, but I just had to this time. Ive been with FWCCU since 2007. This week I had one of the best experiences Ive ever had. I literally cant recall this high level of customer service anywhere before (Im really serious) I had an issue with my account. I called and this wonderful person named Amy F answered the phone. We talked and she gave me some advice on how to deal with the situation. About an hour later, if that, I get a call AND an email from her. She didnt disregard me or my situation, as many people do these days. She spoke with her supervisor, on her own, and explained the situation, and helped me. Really, she saved me and my family and she will probably never really know how much her caring affected us. We need more Amys in the world!

I have been a fwccu client since July of 1991 and can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience with them. The people who I have had the privilege of working with over the years have always been professional, courteous, friendly and more than willing to explain the answers to any questions I might ask. I will continue banking with them until my time on earth comes. And hopefully my beneficiary will just continue using them. If I could rate them higher than a 5 star, I certainly would! Thank you fwccu! !
