I have been banking with Prestige Community Credit Union since 2016. My latest conversation with them was today and I spoke with Ryan to help me with getting my new card set up on Apple Pay. He is a excellent teacher, very patient with me. I now know how to do it should the need arise. Everytime, I have needed assistance with them from the bank tellers to Customer Service and I even had to talk to IT one time. They are very professional, patient and they treat people like the way they want to be treated. Kudos to Ryan and all the other people at Prestige!

My mother, a 65 year old woman who has been a Prestige customer for years and years could not get her cash deposited. Over the years from the same account, she would withdraw cash to hide at home. We finally convinced her to redeposit this money into her bank account but Prestige would not believe her that this money was a redeposit. The rude manager kept speaking over us and kept insisting she needed to know where the money actually came from. The money literally came from this very bank account. We closed the account and will be going to bank elsewhere, maybe RBFCU? Awful credit union. Did you know you literally cant send money bank to bank from their website? 1995 called. Bank elsewhere. My whole family will be exiting this bank.

I have been a member for 17 years and by far they provide the highest level of service. I do not know why anyone would ever buy a vehicle through a dealership and not utilize credit union. I had a check for $10K that was on hold. It was a cashiers check from a title company. I was becoming frustrated since the funds were on biz day 5 of being held. I spoke to Ronnie who was kind enough to release the hold since I have been a long time customer of PCCU. I did not expect that, but greatly appreciated it. This is why I belong to Prestige. This credit union is the best! They will actually work with you unlike the big banks. I have had Prestige loan to me when the big bank I have been a part of for almost 30 years would not. Debit and Credit Cards are the worst here. I lost my wallet with both cards and they want to charge for a new debit card. I don t understand why when the debit card doesn t even have a chip. It s just cheap plastic with the numbers printed on it. For my credit card they canceled it and said they were going to ship me a new one. After noticing my automatic payment I have on my card were not being paid I called the branch and the guy informed me it takes 14 business days to receive the new card. That is ridiculous!! If I would have known that I would not agreed to cancel my credit card. I would give zero stars if I could. They don t want to help you life successfully as there slogan says.

Applied for a loan for a Tesla. They say they don t do Teslas unless they re used from dealerships. Now I have a hard pull for no reason. Maybe have this pop up when you select tesla on the application? Or otherwise intervene? Proceeding with another bank. Plus side, at this location tellers are very good at their job. Never had any issue when doing normal bank stuff.

Ronnie was really, really helpful in resolving my bill pay issues. Not only did he provide me with the answer I needed to set it up properly, he did so after taking the time to look into my request and figuring out that I was asking the wrong question. I was stressed out about this for days and the previous customer rep just answered my exact question without helping me resolve the underlying issue. Received a pre-approval certificate for up to a certain amount. Provided 3 buyers order and each time I would have to pay difference of $1500-$3000. Not able to understand why I couldnt get an actual check for what Im approved for. Then tried to refinance my vehicle had issues there.

Prestige CU is not the credit union I had expected it to have great customer service. Instead they have made my car registration in a new state difficult to complete. Fhonda will not follow my request to remove the (cosigner release) off my title. I stated to her that the car registration cant be processed with family member on my title. Fhonda and Gabriela ignored my request and sent title to here any way without removal of family member name. They can care less about their customers needs. Do not use Prestige for car loans. Because whatever car loan transactions you need to address they will ghost you so that they dont have to address the issues.

Prestige misplaced my car payment check. I paid the payment with my credit card when they informed me I was late and stopped payment on the lost check. They then found the check and tried to cash it and charged me a fee for stopping the check. Several calls into this but can t get through. Will not recommend this outfit for anything.

Update: 3 weeks later and still not able to transfer money. I dont believe that Jose even referred the issue to IT. I have now asked for his manager or the president of the bank to get this issue resolved. This is NOT how a bank should operate. I noticed on the reviews that the owner only responds to compliments. That is not how you get your bank to operate correctly. You need to review the complaints and respond back to the customer. smh I have had this credit union for over 10 years and am looking for another one to transfer my money to. I cant do an external transfer and no one there seems to know how. I also paid off my car early several years ago and they messed that up. Not to mention that they are offering only 3% MM at this time - but only to new customers. They said its because they want new money. Well, theyre not keeping their old money. I have a new account with one Credit Union our of state that I signed up for 3 months ago which pays 4.55% interest and Im looking for another local Credit Union that know what theyre doing. After 20 minutes on hold with Jade who doesnt know how to do an external transfer and finally hanging up and calling back I asked for a manager. Well an hour later and still no call back. I cannot continuously keep calling them about MY money while I am working. Prestige, you need to train your people better. Two months of trying to get another transfer to CFG with no one at your bank knowing how to do it and Im loosing money in interest.

Tried to pay off my car loan on line. Completely separate login with new creds. Limit is $2000 per transaction with $12 fee per transaction. A roadblock to pay off your loan, and super high fees with limited ability to transact on line. Cannot wait to close this account. The fees make the competitive car loan rate not very competitive.

Mary is the best!!! I cant say enough good about Mary and Prestige Community Credit Union. Service is hands down the absolute best. Mary was very attentive and prompt and communication was excellent. I was at a dealership buying a car late on a Friday night and the dealership needed paperwork to complete the transaction. Mary went above and beyond, and stayed way past her time to go home, and got me an approval and all necessary paperwork to the dealership so I could complete the transaction before the weekend. It is not her fault that their systems are inefficient and ineffective. She is the best but she has to work with their resources which are limited in many ways. 2. Fhonda and Jennifer are both very responsive and will do whatever possible to help. Today I am buying a Tesla and they made the process painless and easy. Part of what I like is how organized and well managed their system is. In my situation, there was an unexpected absence and some one was able to continue the process without any delay based on the good records. It was great!!! Today started terribly with trying to cash a check at CHASE BANK & PLS CASH CHECKING, but all that ended when I stepped inside the branch of Prestige community credit union. Ms. Denise welcomed me in with open arms, was very understanding and very sweet, and with a quickness. She called the sister branch and verified everything was correct, and it was confirmed to be a valid check. I couldnt cash the check without opening up an account, but why not when youre in business for yourself. This was when I met two other beautiful women that also helped me with opening arms, Ms. Jamie and Ms. Caroline. They professionally opened my account and created my debit card. Vanessa Martin is fantastic! Prestige happens to be a shared branch of my credit union from out of state, so I visited them to get a cashiers check for closing funds on a house. Everything should have gone smoothly, but my credit union was having some issue with the request for the withdrawal. Vanessa stayed on the phone with them for over half an hour, and well passed closing, trying to troubleshoot the issue. She verified everything was correct on my end and endured getting passed around from person to person on the phone with no real resolution to the problem. My credit union couldn t even tell her what their own problem was, which was causing the issue in the first place. I was stressed and unhappy with this result, but agreed to come back the next day and try again with Vanessa, and hope that my credit union had straightened their stuff out. Not 10 minutes later I get a call from Prestige saying my credit union had called Vanessa back with a possible fix, and she continued to work on it with me on the phone, and amazingly ended up solving the problem! I cannot thank her enough for being so patient and willing to continue helping me when it seemed this was a dead-end issue. On a time crunch and having already taken time off work to come in and get this done, she was an absolute live saver! Thank you Vanessa Martin!!

Possibly the worst experience Ive had with a credit union or bank. I paid off my auto loan, but they still took out $600 from auto-pay, after I made sure it was cancelled. It took several phone calls and discussions with various employees to figure out how to get my money back. After a week of a lot of unknowns and failed promises to have my money returned to my account it finally was. I decide to not use this account any more so I transferred my money to another credit union and they charged me $25 to do so. I will not use this CU again.

We have had an auto loan here since 2017 and the most amazing experience with Lamonte Mcllveen. We began to struggle financially due to covid and then one thing after another was happening where we could not keep up anymore. Our teenage daughter was diagnosed with a rare form of ovarian cancer in September of 2020 and we decided to let the truck go. Lamonte stepped up and helped every step of the way, he worked with us by giving us options on what to do that would best benefit us. Lamonte went well out of his way to help us, even more than my own family. We will never forget this extraordinary experience and all that he has done for us. At first they were great. So I ve had to change my whole review. Numerous issues that have occurred in the past few months, has made me hesitant to open a business account with them, and I have withdrawn all personal funds since the last occurrence. There are many credit unions and banks some that I have been with for 10 plus years and have had way less drama with holds, access to funds and now missing money I wouldn t recommend to friends or business partners.

Limitations on how the accounts can be used have at times impeded my day to day life. Using funds from my checking and savings accounts has been made difficult by automatic limitations on those accounts. I ve had trouble paying my rent and making online purchases with these default settings, which have since been remedied, but I never had these issues with my previous credit union. It took a few phone calls to get the limitations to be less restrictive. I still have problems with my debit card not being accepted for transactions at gas stations for things like car washes or air compressors for tires.

So I thought in the beginning Prestige CCU would be okay to work with, but now after 90 days, I have changed my opinion... For Some Reason they put a 14 day hold on all deposits you deposit into your business checking account, and this creates NSF fees beyond belief... I am closing my business checking account ASAP... I financed a car through Prestige during one of the most difficult times in my life. Lamonte Mcilveen who is the Member Solutions Manager is the epitome of Customer Service Excellence. In all the years I had my loan through them he was always available, compassionate, understanding and never judged me while I was going through such financial difficulties. I have had my car paid off for a year and today I needed assistance with my title and release of Lien letter. I emailed Lamonte and he immediately replied with the documents I needed.
