& !!! We received the worst most terrible customer service from Mrs. Maria today. She was super late for our appointment. As she arrived in the office she came in with a bad attitude and didn t even bothered to apologize for being late. She is rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. As I was giving her our documents I started asking her questions, she seemed bothered by all the questions I was asking. She immediately increased her bad attitude and began to raise her voice. I kindly asked her to keep her voice down and not yell at us, she just laughed and continued with her lack of professionalism and didn t stop yelling at us. I then politely asked her to give me a few minutes to speak in private with my husband, so she left and went to the front desk to wait. After talking with my husband about the terrible, poor service and bad attitude we were getting from her we decided to go with a different lender, we left the conference room where we were waiting for her and went to the reception desk to inform her that we had decided to go with another company. The receptionist and Mrs. Maria laughed at us as I told her our decision. Mrs. Maria said just be honest, I said we didnt like your attitude and lack of professionalism, they continued to laugh at us as we walked out and left. She made no effort to apologize. Of course not! How could she? You can t expect education from obviously uneducated and unprofessional people. Very disappointed!!!! Right after we left the establishment I called the real estate agent who referred me to C&T to let her know about our bad experience, she told me that she was sorry we had to go through that and mentioned that Mrs. Maria had treated another one of her client s she referred to C&T in a similar way as she treated us and that after hearing from us she will not be referring any more people to C&T.

Carrie came through on the money end, but I will never use C&T mortgage again due to how things went. We chose Carrie at C &T mortgage for our new home mortgage because we had used her with no issues on a previous home purchase. But this one has been quite distressing. Carrie knew we were selling our old home (we were required to write a hand-written note saying as much), but after we closed on our new home and tried to contact her about applying that money to our mortgage we were told they still had it but it was a holiday weekend so we needed to wait. When we reached out again the first day they were back in the office, she said they had sold our loan, and we had to wait weeks for new information. Then once we did get that info she said we had verbally agreed to not pay the mortgage down past 50% in the first 6 months because she would lose her commission/profit. She said she never would have done the deal otherwise. She said we could do what we wanted, but she was clearly aggravated with us. I know for a fact I never agreed to anything either on paper or verbally, and I was not even aware of it because I had planned the whole time to roll the house sale into the next house. I understand her frustration, but I dont think it is good business practices to claim someone agreed to something verbally, then act like theyre untruthful and or deceitful if they say otherwise. We felt guilted into afterward agreeing to not pay it down, because otherwise it would look like were liars (we thought perhaps she had mentioned something about it in a separate conversation with my husband and he didnt understand what she was talking about, I dont know). I double and triple verified beforehand on all the paperwork that we would not have a prepayment penalty. Now we have tens of thousands of dollars just sitting in the bank, paying the mortgage company loads of money in interest for the next 5 months until we can pay it without her having financial repercussion, and its very stressful. Im not sure if its just easy to forget that these things make a real life financial difference for her clients, or if she was just careless and tried to keep her profits by making us take the brunt of her decision, but I could never recommend her to someone I like. Just go with someone else, or be ready to play hardball to defend your word. I think she said her husband was in poor health around that time, so perhaps she was distracted or preoccupied when we spoke (understandable). If you use her I would expect a good interaction, because everything was great from the paperwork logistics side, but be prepared to defend your good name if she claims you said something you didnt. Tl;DR: Carrie at C&T Mortgage did fine on the paperwork side, but I would never work with her again because of how we were personally treated.

Lauren Dauzat... use her. Shes amazing and was always available! I could text her a question at 9 at night before bed on a weekday and she was there for me. She was sure to answer everything and laid it all out smoothly. We had a rushed close because Rocket Mortgage screwed my husband and I over (Never use them!!). They were terrible, and delayed our closing by not disclosing important information to us. Bad communication. And then once our rate was no longer fixed, they up charged us and had many fees. Nevertheless, Im thankful it happened because we recieved a lower interest rate then I ever thought we could get with C&T and no extra fees. C&T Mortgage saved us and allowed me to close on my dream home

It pained me to type this because I didn t want to. I hate sharing bad experiences but this was one that we were not going to brush under the rug. I actually waited a few weeks to post this review so it wouldn t be typed out of anger. We were given the green light to go under contract for a home that we had no business going under contract for. He wanted us to pay for credit repair every month instead of doing the hard work of going through and seeing which items were causing a negative affect on reports that needed to be taken care of. He didn t do a thorough job of handling our application and we were the unfortunate victims of his carelessness. He never ran my credit to consider my debt before allowing us do a purchase agreement with us being in a community property state. I had to find that info out on my own.. this killed our DTI and the home would be too much. We sent emails and numerous calls once figured this out and he began to ignore us along with his assistant who I won t name. It was literally WEEKS before we would hear back. We read good reviews and researched and were dumbfounded by the treatment and the situation. What was it about us that caused such carelessness? Why us? No apology or anything.. We were fine with not being able to close on that home or waiting all together. What made it so bad was there was no responsibility taken or even an apology.. leaving our realtor and us to fend for ourselves after being placed in the situation. Eventually, we accepted the loss and cancelled the purchase agreement losing $2000 on our first ever home buying experience. I hope no one ever has to go through what we did. The experience was an absolute nightmare.

Carrie at C&T got our executed contract on May 4th and we closed on May 21st. It was an extremely easy process and Carrie made it very pleasant. I hope not to move again but if I do Carrie will be my first call.

I had a wonderful experience with C&T Mortgage. Tami was beyond helpful in every way, especially considering I was a first time home buyer and had a LOT of questions for her. Tami Channel is a God send. She worked very hard for us and when issues arose (which they often due when purchasing a home) she was there to help us through it but gave us vital information to help us in the future. She is caring and invested when aiding us in buying our home. I cant say enough about her, except she made our experience SO much more bearable.

Ive applied for auto loans that seemed more lengthy than this process and I believe its due to how much they take care of on your behalf, not to mention they treat you like family. There was absolutely nothing negative in our whole experience, which is not what I was expecting being a first time homebuyer.

Carrie has been a friend for a long time, so the level of personal attention may have been inordinately applied to my case, but i would be wrong if i didnt mention how impressed i was with her body of knowledge and professionalism. When I decided to buy a house (first-time buyer), I had NO CLUE what I was doing. The one thing I knew was that I was going to get in touch with my cousin. That was a no-brainer ... shes family. One thing I have learned is that Carrie and her team treat EVERYONE like family. I am so glad I didnt have a large bank or broker handle my initial mortgage. C&T Mortgage was very professional throughout the entire process. Tami was great and very accessible. She was always a phone call or email away. I didnt have to deal with the problems I often encounter with other organizations (Miscommunication, delays, lost documents, untrained agents, etc). This was never a problem with C&T mortgage. They explained the pros and cons of different mortgage terms and worked to get me the best rates. I was always dealing with one person or her assistants when she wasnt available. Documents were always handled quick and efficiently in a timely manner. Calls were always handled personally. If there was an issue or if something needed to be handled, a simple phone call or email was all that was needed. Turnaround was always fast. I am very pleased with them and highly recommend.

Your Review We just closed on your second mortgage with C&T. I think the first was maybe the hardest loan they ever did . but through it all Tami never once was discouraging or negative. She is amazing!!!! * Check list made it so easy * Possible issues are addressed immediately. * All calls and emails returned even after hours if need be. If I could give constructive critisism I would . but the truth is there is nothing more I could ask from this mortgage co.There is not one detail that they dont handle with absolute professionalism but yet in a very personal and considerate manner.

My husband and I just closed on our first home, and Mark Hammond worked with us through the entire process. As one can imagine, we knew nothing about buying a home, mortgages etc etc. Mark has to be one of the hardest working people with whom I have had the pleasure of doing business. He made himself available around our hectic schedules and truly guided us through this seemingly daunting process. Mark Hammond and his assistant Janelle truly care about their clients. We had many delays to our closing, in part because our loan had to be transferred, When things did not go as planned, Mark met us on a holiday weekend to do paperwork to get the loan transferred back to C & T ASAP. As a result, we were able to keep our contract with our seller. Mark and Janelle went out of their way to minimize the inconvenience to our family and to prevent us from incurring any additional costs.
