Let me start by saying that this store is incredibly fortunate to have Jen on their team. Jen spent over three hours today assisting me with everything I needed, showing an exceptional level of patience and professionalism. She made sure everything was handled in the best way possible. What stood out most was her selflessness—despite sending everyone else in the store to lunch, she stayed to make sure things got done, displaying the type of leadership more stores need. I may not know her official title, but as a leader myself, I can tell that Jen is magnificent.

During the time I was there, I also witnessed someone come in and make a rude comment toward Jen. Even though she was in the middle of helping me, and it clearly affected her, she chose to smile and move on. Jen, if you're reading this, I want you to know that you are magnificent. Please don’t let anyone take that smile away from you—you’re a wonderful, amazing person, and I’m so happy to have met you.

Cassie was equally impressive. When she arrived, she jumped right in, ensuring that everything was organized and even reminded me to take pictures for my records. Thanks to her, all my documents and processes were in perfect order.

I cannot express enough appreciation for both Jen and Cassie. Their dedication and attention to detail are remarkable, and I hope the owner of the store knows what an incredible team they have.

Went in today, which happened to be Mother’s Day and had the pleasure of meeting Jen. She is a sweetheart. We purchased a weed trimmer and she explained their policy and warranties. We will definitely be back!

Don’t waste your time here. The two women working here were extremely rude. The one initially testing my gold at the counter couldn’t even answer any of my questions and kept calling the other woman over to answer for her. They gave me an extremely low offer for scrap price on gold and when I brought up the current price of gold I was immediately met with an argumentative attitude. They then kept cutting me off when I tried to speak and told me to leave. I understand a profit must be made but the people working here should at least be educated in their field. Extremely unprofessional and unpleasant experience, they just want to argue.

Dishonest thieves! I went in to find a microwave. Only had one, but it wasn't on display. It was taped up in the original box. I couldn't test it out, for that reason. But , I was told the reason for that is because it was practically brand new. I buy it and AS I'M LEAVING, I'm strenuously reminded "no refund". I got home, 10 minutes later. I open the box to find the inside of the microwave DIRTY. I wiped it down, inside and out. Plug it in, press 30 seconds, it runs for FOUR SECONDS and shuts down. I unplugged it, 3/4 times, switch outlets, NOTHING. I call back and ask if I can exchange it for one that WORKS and I'm told, "no refund or exchange". I try to reason with the "person", only to be told, repeatedly, NO. I ask for their corporate number and she tells me, she has no idea of the number or how to reach them. Basically, I reach out to BBB, same day. The next day, corporate calls ME and corrections were made. Basically, don't waste your money dealing with this EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, scheisty store.

My first time here from out of town. I was greeted by Elias who showed me several knives. I ultimately bough one at a good price. Thanks Elias for your time. I was then passed off to employee Britney. Britney was really helpful and took her time showing me some silver coins which I bought 2 of them. I was advised I would have to wait for someone qualified to show me a firearm. I waited for approximately 15-20 minutes when Jen showed me a 22 pistol. I asked for a lower price. Jen went and spoke with manager brittany. Brittany appeared to be bothered by the question for a lower price. While i waited for her response I looked up the ruger 22 and found it to cost new at $300 dollars. Brittany stated in a condescending manner to me, that is a ruger take down pistol. I respectfully advised her it was not and showed her that particular model I found. She replied that the stock was different and she found it on line for $539 dollars. I am a military veteran and know firearms very well plus I am detail oriented. She persisted I was wrong at which time I offered to buy that firearm at the price she wanted if she could take it apart as you can with a take down model. I then showed her on line from my phone what a ruger take down model looked like to include a retention nut on barrel. She replied I am a gun enthusiast and that is a take down model. She in a nasty manner looked at me and said I am set at my price and walked away . This is certainly not professional nor a proper mannerism to display towards a customer. I am sure her employees were embarrassed, I know I was embarrassed for them. It is sad that a manager who said to me she was a gun enthusiast didn t know what she was talking about and when called out she walked away. She certainly needs to be retrained in customer service and eat some Humble pie. I am a frequent pawn shop customer and have never been treated in this manner in any shop I have been in throughout the US. I have 1.2 million views on my reviews on google and I do not like doing negative reviews unless you earn them. Brittany you certainly own this for your store. See the pictures and you can see black pistol is take down model and brown one is the one they were selling. Any prudent person can see she was not selling the take down model that she said it was. There is an obvious take down nut and totally different stock.

This new staff of Women are rude, condescending and unprofessional. Nothing like the other locations. Nothing like the older National pawn and Jewelry. I have different accounts with layaways at different stores. This one isnt my favorite.. however I gave them 2 stars because The only person I met that was appreciative of my business was the manager AFTER I escalated an issue to upper management to the district manager. If you ever have an issue with this store. Make sure you are polite and have a real problem. Dont waste the managers time. If its something they can worked through the district manager can help. Try solving the issue inside first. If not Id recommend to contacting the district manager because sometimes stores dont give their staff proper customer service skills. Working with people isnt an easy job sometimes and when you have talk these types of staff. Its easy to become frustrated. Dont expect to be met with the nicest people in the world. Definitely not the nicest people to do business with. With the exception of the district manager. Then again the Managers cant be there all the time...

Cash America now owns this chain. The phone number on Google no longer works and you can no longer pay online for extensions or layaways. No problem with the store staff and its not their fault that corporate makes a horrible customer service experience.

After Calling This location to get rid of old games,,they were Only willing to give me 15 cents for I just received $55 for from first cash pawn In Round Rock for ten video games , they have the money to give, this location always giving the least for items that we spend to much money on..I hope they close one day just a waist of a building ... This particular location is incredibly overpriced theres literally things that are higher cost in this pawn shop than they are brand new in the stores. We all know that pawn shops and most part their employees are creditors but this location takes that to a whole another level doesnt matter how much business you give them they will screw you over with the more business you give them save your self and your wallet the trouble and if you have to go to a pawn shop theres five other ones within a half mile radius Dont go to this one

A lot of things were going on in my life, so I decided to up and move to Austin, and did it without proper finances. Just grabbed some valuables and clothes to hold me over, and left. Needless to say, those valuables came in handy when I truly needed a loan get a hotel room for two weeks until I got paid from the job I landed. Brittany not only loaned me more than what I was asking, but was genuine, empathetic, and understanding of my situation after hearing my story. Im just really super grateful. Good to still have pawn shops out there that arent all about trying to get their dollar, but help as well. Ill never go somewhere else if I ever need a pawn shop again.

ABSOLUTELY NO ACCOUNTABILITY when it comes to damaged and lost/stolen items. NEVER leave Apple iPhone products they DO NOT wipe the info before it is sold. Im a victim of what happens when THEY DONT wipe your information & its expensive! Had to pawn my monitor and computer. When I gave it to them both were in perfect condition. After I got them back my monitor was completely damaged! It looked like it was dropped on the side because there were red, blue and green lines on the left side and there was black ink spreading from the bottom left corner of the monitor. The screen is also flickering constantly and its just completely broken and not usable! I highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs.

There was a young Latina woman and an older white woman working at the time... sorry I didn t catch any names. But they have beautiful personalities & great customer service! I wish they could work at my stores if they were not so far away! better give them a raise before someone steals them! lol they helped me look for more items that they didn t have in stock, at their other locations, explained everything in detail and were very helpful!! Please give them a raise they definitely deserve it !!! Don t let associates like that walk away, they are worth it! These people are always soo amazing! When I fell behind with like 4 tickets one time, I came in a like almost a week past due & they allowed me to pay what was owed & put everything back into pawn. I was soo happy & thankful! Ive gotten several purses from them before too & they always are willing to go down a little on the price, especially if I get 2 or 3 at a time! Ive also gone in a few mins past closing & she still took care of me cause I just needed to extend a ticket. So overall, they go above & beyond to work with me & I love them for that! By far the best customer service! I wrote an upset review a while back due to a line they had & now I wish I could find them & remove them because what they have done for me since then...well it by far beats that line & that 1 not so great experience!

I have been coming for years and have brought my items in and picked up . Now I brought my item in and they said not taking this item anymore. When a few days ago Mgr said if it s been here before bring back . Poor service I say or lack of communication !!! One thumbs down

Best pawn shop Ive ever been to In my Life premium quality products a wonderful staff. Ive been to a lot of places and purchase lots of items from many shops before but this one definitely was one that I always remember and come back and get my business to I got wonderful ring and I got a bunch of other items that satisfy me to the core even when a couple of the items werent where they were supposed to be for didnt work quite quite that way theyre supposed to they gave me a 24-hour capability comeback return those items which most pawn shops never do is truly some places here to customer service and a place I will have always have my business and made me feel at home in my new place in Austin. Chris took great care of me. Although I know its possible, even expected to negotiate for a better price at pawn shops, Im not a very good haggler. I shared this fact with Chris, and he said no worries he would give me his best price that he could, and he did - a substantial amount off the sticker price! Go see Chris, he will do you right!

The staff is extremely helpful and very bubbly personality. Came in after a long day Hilda had me laughing my butt off with Jessica the store manager these ladies are sweet as can be and very helpful. This is the shop when you need and that layaway. Best deals Ive come accross.

Friendly helpful staff. They purchased my old unused tools. I dont feel like I was dealing with sleazy individuals or cheats. They where honest with me about what they could offer and what they needed to resell for. Ill go to their pawn shop in the future. Great experience!
