The WORST BANK I HAVE EVER BEEN INVOLVED WITH IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

I have an account with evolve bank and trust through the ‘DAVE’ platform for 2 years.

Now the Dave platform itself has been nothing but smooth & easy to use. Bank transfers would take about an over night but in summer of 2024, they began taking much longer.

As that was causing troubles, I decided to transfer my entire account to my other bank account and attempt to close my Dave account.

I am now 9 weeks “waiting” on my transfer to be completed which is AWFUL business. I have spoken to customer service more than +12 times at this point, getting the biggest runaround from :
“1-2 days sir” to “well it’s Labor Day weekend and that causes a delay” to “we were cyber attacked back in spring of 2024 so yada yada yada”

It’s bullshit. They keep giving me the runaround and I am borderline about to claim a lawsuit against them as they are withholding funds and lying on these recorded calls. I should have read the reviews on this bank before starting an account as this has become a nightmare.

DO NOT EVER USE EVOLVE BANK AND TRUST,

NOT DIRECTLY OR THRU DAVE PLATFORM.

They are trash.

Although other banks have reconciled and returned funds to impacted users, Evolve continues to provide reasons for delay with funds frozen since May 2024. This is after they denied having user funds and that had a data breach releasing SSN and private info. Suggest customers look into their regulatory compliance history before conducting any business.

I have an account with Yotta a company with a banking partnership with Evolve Bank and Trust. The two entities were connected via Synapse which recently went bankrupt resulting in the freezing of my account. All of my Yotta statements show the money as being held with Evolve. My Yotta account shows that I have Evolve routing and account numbers. Yet, I am unable to access the account or withdraw money.

There is little to no urgency to resolve the issue, while thousands of people are living a financial nightmare. I had saved thousands of dollars for years and was just hoping to buy a home and start a family with the money I had worked so hard for. Now I don't know if I will ever see it again. Evolve Bank and "Trust"....sure. Stay away, they are evil.

I have a checking account with Juno Finance, which uses Evolve Bank and Trust as their bank. I have had this account for a couple years, and in May 2024, Evolve Bank froze my account (and the accounts of hundreds of thousands of other customers), which now prevents me from accessing all of my funds. They are apparently in the middle of a dispute with a company called Synapse, and as a result, they are preventing me from having access to my hard-earned money. This is near criminal activity. They have locked me out of my checking account, and I cannot make withdrawals, I cannot transfer money out of my account, it’s as though the money has completely disappeared. I have thousands of dollars in this checking account that I can no longer access, and no one is taking accountability and providing me with access to my funds. Evolve Bank is a horrible institution for doing this to me and hundreds of thousands of other hard working people.

Have a pay card through an employer which was issued by Evolve Bank and Trust. Had an issue with the card company. Finally resorted to reaching out to Evolve. They were extremenly friendly and customer oritented. After dealing with off shore customer service, this was a breath of fresh air.

Colby Dorris was amazing to work with. When getting started on this process, I reached out to him and he responded back in less than 5 minutes. That was one of the main reasons why I chose to work with Colby. He was always very prompt when responding to our questions. Throughout the whole process he was always available, even while on vacation! Being first time home buyers, this process could have been long and confusing - thanks to Colby, it wasnt. Hands down the best experience I have ever had with getting a mortgage. Ryan and his team will go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. I have been through the process twice with Evolve and both times they were excellent. We always used our favorite credit union for mortgages but I will never use anyone else other than Ryan at Evolve.

I worked with one of there loan officers Todd Stampp who is beyond unprofessional and a scam artist. He scammed us out of our life savings. He was reported to bank and under investigation and still works there. Scary!!

We loved how you can upload documents right through the app and see the progress of your loan. The communication with Dana was excellent.
