My experience with Accent Jewelers has been positive each time I have been in. (And that has been 3-5 times in the last few weeks). It takes me awhile to make a decision and all associates, (Andrew, Stephen, & Scott) have been very patient with me each time during my decision making process to remount some stones (that weren t as valuable as they were sentimental) into different mountings. Not only were they patient & friendly they were thorough in the number of options I was given in choosing the new piece(s). I hope they don t get tired of me because I will definitely be back in.

For several years, I have been taking pieces to Accent Jewelers to sell. From sterling silver to coins and jewelry, the amounts paid are more than fair and the staff puts in the time and research for challenging pieces. Recently, I took Accent an usual ring to sell. Stephen, Scott and Andrew all examined it and ran assorted tests. It turned out to be 10kt gold with portions covered in silver. Some of the stones were diamonds. They researched the ring and I was quite pleased with the purchase price. I will continue to work with Accent Jewelers and refer friends to them.

I did not have a bad experience with the store itself or the employees. I was asked if I had ever sold jewelry before. I have not and responded. The man proceeded to tell me that I would get 10% percent of the value. I was offered 20% to sell it at a local pawn shop. I was a bit surprised to find a better deal at a pawn shop, but everyone has a right to make a buck. I would not return or recommend this store for selling jewelry in the future.

Very nice store! Clean. I walked in and wasn t greeted but there was a man at the counter that did assist me very quickly! Me and my uncle brought a 40 gram Cuban link chain in for a loan and was offered 400 $$ 10 a gram for 10k when the scrap gold price is 26 a gram little did the older lady working there know I m a ex pawn broker I asked why so low her explanation was this just the best she can do maybe 500 so me and my uncle decided to leave this place went straight to ez pawn on Winchester and got 800$ easy it s sad racism still exists in these times and people think you are slow they can tell you anything because of your ethnicity it s really disgusting and upsetting

He went through everything, explained the process, reasons each item did or did not have value and how they test for authenticity. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. My experience first came in 1978 when I was in high school and I was able to purchase several small pieces from accent jewelers and my most recent experience came in November 20 of 22 when a butterfly wing had come off and accent jewelers was able to prepare a solution by reattaching the wing on a 14 karat gold butterfly that I had in the early 80s purchased. The staff at accent jewelers are always polite and go beyond the duties of just pointing out Jewelry they re very knowledgeable about the craft of each piece whether it s a ring or a necklace or loose diamonds

Just left this place. I hate writing these types of reviews but the previous reviewer was correct about every single word he said . I walked in wasn t greeted but the white couple I that walk in ahead of me was greeted so well. No introduction of the guy at all ,he took my items said it worth 1 dollar & gave it back literally . If your skin is not the right color please don t go here! We have to stop giving these companies who don t like us as a whole because of our skin color our business. Good luck I would like to add I brought my items to Accent because I took a boat load of jewelry to cash America on Austin pea & they bought all my gold pieces & explained they didn t purchase silver it was already tested(magnetic & acid test )by Cash America. Recently I took some old jewelry to Accent Jewelers thinking they might purchase it. They did not disappoint! Only reason I gave 2 stars is because the older lady did greet us as soon as we walked in. I did feel my item was definitely under valued, it was at least 14g of 14K solid gold and over 23 genuine diamonds and was offered $200. The young man that attended me just said they value items based on material, explained nothing else. But if that were the case i know i shouldve been offered more. Maybe because we were speaking Spanish? Lol It was really insulting being treated like idiots, we did our research and they were trying to pay less than $18 a gram of 14k solid gold, not even including the sale of diamonds. Definitely dont recommend and wont be going back. Edit to reply to response from company: Like I mentioned if you evaluate based on material how did you end up with an estimate of 200 for a bracelet that weighs almost 16 grams total and about 14 of those grams are 14k solid gold?. Supposedly how much are you valuing it at? Also nobody even offered to talk to a senior seller. You basically said dont like my $200 offer then bye we werent even offered water like most of these other people who had such wonderful experiences. Definitely seemed like if you dont look a certain way you wont be treated the same. Im sure many will understand what I mean. For anyone needing an actual decent place to sell precious jewelery I definitely recommend Memphis gold & diamond buyers on poplar ave!! I was not greeted, the process wasn t explained to me, the young man didn t even know anything about jewelry. He didn t introduce himself. Stay away from here, they will undervalue your items and I felt like I was treated very poorly. I had some high end pieces and was told they don t pay for a name but a man walked in (who didn t look like me of course) and said that he had some David Yurman pieces and they took their time with appraisal of his items when they only wanted to pay me scrap value prices which were also lower than the market value. They didn t even try to make me a fair offer for my pieces. I guess they thought that I was desperate or something, no I m not I was just trying to get rid of some pieces because I have plenty of jewelry and high end jewelry at that. Also I feel that I was racially profiled. I noticed that all the positive reviews are from people with certain features that I don t possess. Plus they didn t know that I once owned a jewelry boutique and sell items online so I know the value of what I possess. Plus the young man was rude and didn t have any knowledge of what I bought in. He didn t possess a knowledge of jewelry and I only had 14kt, 18kt gold pieces. If I could give them zero stars I would. I also left there and went to another place that offered me way more.

Went to Accent Jewelers last week to sale a platinum diamond ring that had been been appraised for over 7k. I had already gone to another place three days prior to this visit where I was offered $1800. I could not believe when the guy who was handling the sale came back and offered $200 dollars. I only went there because I had friends who had experienced the same thing. Do not go to this place. They will insult you with their ridiculous offers.

Like many others have posted, I was kindly offered water. The young man helping me was polite and older staff were very helpful when he had questions regarding some of my items. I walked in, unaware of what to expect, and was immediately greeted by a friendly smile, asking how I could be helped. I told my CSR, Dede, that I had items that had been simply occupying space in the back of a jewelry drawer, never worn, so I d like to see if I could get an appraisal, and possibly make a profit. We made small talk, as she checked the items presented, and Ashe wanted to know, how I had heard of their company, and I told her it was from the commercial with Claudia Barr. She disappeared to the back, and a few moments a few moments later, she presented me with an offer. Needless to say IT WAS BEYOND ANY AND ALL EXPECTATIONS! I was elated and rewarded with what some might say a small fortune, but a BIG blessing to me I highly recommend them!

I called this a m as last night I realized I could probably make some $ on some gold pieces I have had for lots of yrs and quit wearing jewelry & Andrew answered the phone. Andrew was just as nice & helpful in person as he was over the phone! I was so glad I went as it got me some gas/ groc $ which both were much needed. This was my first time selling jewelry. I initially chose Accent Jewelers because they were on a list of reputable stores that my diamond insurer had. I came in yesterday, 10/25/2021, to sell a 22 in. 14kt chain that was broken. (My dog broke it after being around my neck for 30 years!) My sales associate was Dede.I explained to her that I felt awkward without it. Not only did she help me with my sell, but after hearing my story she found me a chain almost like mine in store! Plus I received double my offer for buying after the sell. She cleaned my cross before placing it on the chain and placed it around my neck. She was GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are a person of color dont take your business to accent jewelers. We came and they told me that they would only give me $100 for a ring that was worth $3000. A white man and his wife came in and was offered water. We were not. Bad business for black people. Find you a black jewelers to go to. I visited Accent Jewelers today for the first time. I had a sterling silverware set that had been sitting in bags for decades. Scott helped me out and paid me a nice fair price for it. He had an innate enthusiasm offering ideas that I would not have thought of myself. As I looked around the room I saw how the other customers were being attended to. My rating is A++! They could not have been more courteous, knowledgeable or professional. The walls are filled with certifications and accomplishments of the people that work there. I spoke with the owner himself and was delighted by his ability to listen and have an intelligent conversation without distraction from people around us. That is rare these days!
