On Monday, October 28, I took my vehicle in for an oil change. During the intake portion of the repair, while going over my needs with the service writer, It was mentioned that due to the mileage on the car, a break flush was suggested. I asked what the cost of the flush would be, and agreed based on the price given, as well as the scheduled oil change. After all work was completed, I was presented with a bill that was substantially higher than what was quoted. I paid the bill and prior to leaving the dealership left a message for Mr. Robert Sullivan, the service manager to please contact me. This afternoon Mr. Sullivan, called me and stated he had already talked to the service people that were involved. I relayed what the situation was in great detail. We agreed that sometimes there are misunderstandings. Mr. Sullivan rectified this issue to my complete satisfaction. I have been a loyal customer of Wilson County Hyundai for the past four years, and with the resolution today, I will continue to be a customer of Wilson County Hyundai.

Sadly I have no choice but to come on here and right a review. I purchased a new car from them this year. That process was smooth. Where it goes down to one star is their customer service around services. I have a warranty and needed some work done. Not only does the call constantly drop when calling but the service department never responds. I personally drove up there and was told to just take it somewhere else. Then told that they have someone but they would call me. I ve called multiple times over the past few months with zero help from this business. I regret buying my car from them and would suggest avoiding this dealership.

Philip in The service department took my car at 11:45am Phillip and we had agreed on two diagnostic for my car he said $189 for the motor diagnostic and $189 for the computer diagnostic I agreed then Phillip gave me a text to follow the status of my car after that I waited five hours in the lobby watching the status bar which never moved, and Phillip never contacted me back for five hours later so at 5:00pm I went up to the desk and asked about my car Phillip said they were done? Ok? He said they drove it and didn t find anything wrong totally ignoring our entire conversation about the two diagnostic we agreed on when I handed him my keys. Otherwise I would not of given him my keys They didn t run any diagnostic on my car. In fact he never mentioned the diagnostic again because he never ran one on my car. So I called my warranty company to see if they had been charged for the diagnostic and they had not charged me and they had ever heard of Wilson county Hyundai according to my warranty company so they never called to even check! What a Charade!! . After leaving this dealership I was almost in an accident because the Sensor on my car that they were supposed to fix failed and atomically slammed on my emergency brakes and the car behind me almost rear ended my car. Thanks for nothing Wilson county Hyundai service department you really suck! Yall can t be trusted . Check out your review on the BBB

I recently visited Wilson County Hyundai, and it was a nightmare from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a salesperson who seemed more interested in his phone than in helping me. After finally getting his attention, I asked about a specific car I had seen online. He shrugged and said it was probably around here somewhere. After an exhausting 30 minutes of wandering the lot, I found the car only to discover it was locked and no one had the keys. I waited another 20 minutes for someone to help, no one approached or followed up. I felt like an inconvenience and so disrespected I chose to leave. I left feeling frustrated and completely turned off from the idea of buying a car. Save yourself the hassle avoid Wilson County Hyundai at all costs!

DO NOT COME HERE! Actually, don t even buy a Hyundai. I came here a few months ago because the paint on my car has been peeling off rapidly (the car is only 5 years old). They suggested I go to the Nashville location and I told them how I have had multiple bad experiences, one of which resulted in damage to the entire side of my car, though they ended up fixing it. They told me they weren t surprised by this information and that the body shop had been poorly managed. They suggested I get an estimate at a local body shop they work with. I went and got the estimate and returned it back to them the same day. They told me I would hear back from them within a few weeks when Hyundai reviewed the estimate. Over a month passed and I called. They said they had no information for me. I went in around two months to get a recall issue fixed and again - no information and the man in charge was not on site. Throughout the past 3-4 months I have called repeatedly, been promised call backs, and have yet to receive one. No one seems to know whats going on and the man they claim to know about it is always somehow unreachable. Thank you Hyundai, for continuing to waste my time and always leaving me worse off then when I come in.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this dealership. The staff were dismissive and acted as though they were doing me a favor by simply talking to me. They made no effort to help or provide any useful information, and I felt like they couldn t care less about my business. The arrogance here is astonishing, as if they re the only dealership in town. Save your time and go somewhere where your business is actually appreciated. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

worst experience ever. Bought a used car 2022 santa cruz. still had warranty. got it home monday night, it was leaking oil. put in it there shop. it has been 2 weeks and still do not have car. the service department doesnt communicate. i complained to mgmt and i got a phone call on monday that part should be in soon. I have not heard back yet. BEWARE BEWARE. they love to take your money but dont care beyond that. Best car buying experiences. As a matter of fact, the first experience was so good when we went in to buy my car a week ago, a week later, we went back and got my husband a new car too. Dylan the sales person is knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and super responsive. Bobby the person who helped us with the lease and Finance was also super friendly and helpful and gave us great advices. Both of them tried to advise on trim and financing options that made the most sense for us, not just for the dealership. The sales manager gave us a fair trade in price for our old car, first time in my life I did not feel the need to negotiate up the trade in offer. And tried to make it up for us for the delay of signing contract caused by their system being down the first time. I got a flat tire a few days after driving the car home and it was towed to a different dealership service and they messed up the claim. Bobby and Dylan tied to help me even though it was after the sale and they really did not have anything to do with it. Very impressed with the entire team.

Do not purchase a vehicle from here. I have had the same issue with my car for over a year, and they couldn t figure out what was wrong with it. We took it to another shop, and they easily figured it out. We took it back to Hyundai for it to be repaired under warranty and now they are claiming they can t do that. This place is horrible. I took my Elantra there for service. I spent a week without anyone communicating with me about the status. When I finally wrote them asking about it, they replied back with a link of recommended services without any explanation. When I went there they told me the technician was on lunch. It took me another 3 days to get the hold of somebody. Among the recommended services I selected two services and the third one was covered by warranty. The total of requested service was about $1390 including taxes. Later I requested additional service (replacing rotors and brakes) which they charged for about $992 also including taxes. The total was something near $2400. But when I went to pick up my car, they showed me a bill of $3400. I asked what happened, initially they said they dont know why the bill is different. Then said they also changed calipers while changing brakes. When I asked who authorized it, they Said the dont know and said I should come back the next day because the person on charge of my vehicle was gone for the day. The next day, when I got there this guy took me for a stupid. First they have worked on the charges and brought it down from $3400 to nearly $3000. Then when presenting this to me, First, he said the nearly $2600 I received as was without taxes (which is wrong, I never received a $2600 but $2400 which included taxes) . I paid the $3000 but decided to let him know he learn not to take people for stupid. I eared one thing the day before and another today. Je keeps defending himself saying that he doesnt know why the system presented me with different values than their system. It was simply a scam.

My engine seized during driving likely due to the known recalls. Our vehicle was towed there 15 days ago. After a week, we called and were blown away that someone quit and they had no ticket, no key, and had no idea our vehicle was on site. Now another week has passed and multiple calls have been made with promises of calls back that never happen. We are out of a vehicle for a recall that weve brought up before but of course they wont think about doing anything until it actually dies. Well see how that shakes out but where is my damn car Wilson County Hyundai??

Wilson County Hyundai is a circus full of clowns We had a good sales/purchase experience here. Matthew Wright is a great salesperson. The one star rating is for the Service department. The first issue was my Service Advisor, Phillip. I saw his name on the estimate paperwork. But he never spoke to me. The estimate I received was very vague. All it said was diagnostics. Matt, my salesperson actually showed me the damage. At one point I was told I might need to wait months for the part(s). The worst part was waiting six hours for a $1800 repair to the radar module. . I arrived here before 9am. I was told the repair would take 2 to 2.5 hours. I let them know I was waiting. When I checked on the progress of the repair three and a half hours later (at 12:30), I was lied to. I was told they pulled it in 10 minutes ago and it would be another hour. At 12:54 I received a panic alert followed by an unlock signal at 1:01pm. This indicates they hadn t even started on the repair! This was the lie I referred to earlier. My Palisade was completed at 2:45. When I went to pay, I was informed (for the first time) of a 3% credit card fee! The service manager said he could not prevent the charge, but he could adjust the invoice to allow for it. Several minutes later, my credit card was run, but the amount charged (before the fee) didn t match the invoice! After waiting another 15 minutes, I finally received an invoice that matched the CC charge. As I drove the car, I found the radar had not been calibrated correctly. It sees vehicles in the right lane and slows down my cruise control unnecessarily. . I will not be going back to Wilson County Hyundai to get it properly calibrated. BTW, Matt offered me a loaner vehicle, but I told him I would wait if it was going to be less than 3 hours. At this point, there is nothing Wilson Hyundai could do to get me to return here for service or my next purchase.

Buying the vehicle was a good experience. Even bought an extended warranty. When the time comes and something goes wrong and the extended warranty that we PAID for has to be use you have to jump hoops just to get your vehicle fixed. The service department has kept our vehicle for a month now! Waiting on approval to fix it. How long does this take?? 2 weeks!?!? I think not. Not only that we had to send in every bit of proof of the maintenance that has been done on the car because driving an hour from where we live to Lebanon to get an oil change just isn t possible. Never get an update unless we are the ones requesting it. We would like are vehicle fixed and back to us in a timely manner. I will never buy another at this location again.

I will spare all the details because this could be a short book. We were first told that our first warranty issue on our new car was not an issue because a headlight full of condensation was normal beings they are not sealed units. Well common sense tells me that isn t true so I call the dealership every couple months to ask if they ve ordered the part So here we are 6 months later trying again. They make us come up there 5 TIMES BEFORE IT GOT FIXED. When I picked it up from fixing the headlight they were closed, but to my surprise the engine light comes on immediately upon starting the car. I later find out the horn wasn t working while a car was almost backing into me in a parking lot. When I brought it back I was asked to have more grace. LOL I gave 5 chances but it took 6. I must also write that there was at least a week span that their phones weren t working and I could not get in touch with ANYONE AT ALL to let them know my engine light was on. Sorry folks if you re looking for hassle free service to go with your nice new car I don t recommend this place. We will be going way out of our way for service and we will not be buying from Wilson county Hyundai.

I should ve written this review several months ago when I took my new car there for its first service since Hallmark Hyundai didn t have a service appt open for a couple of months. I thought it would just be a simple oil change and tire rotation but they told me there was a nail in one kf the tires and that it would be about $350 to replace the tire. Thankfully I called my husband and he told me to take it to a tire center near our home. I did just that and they fixed it for FREE! I was upset bcuz I would ve paid the $350 had I not ask my husband first. Then when I got home I looked at the sticker the service sticker they put on my car and the date is exactly one year from the date I brought the car in or 13,000 miles. I ve never waited a year to get an oil change so it s definitely an error but geeez! Needless to say, I will not be going back to Wilson County Hyundai for service again. We carried our Hyundai Santa Fe 2022 to get it serviced on 6-6-24 , I had a free oil change, a free tire rotation, I needed a rear wiper blade which cost me around $72.00 to have them put it on, $20.00 for the blade and $52.00 labor for a 5 minute job..I also had a front sensor that was throwing a caution sign on the dash, they said they would have to run a diagnostic check on it and that was another $189.00 and come to find out it was not covered under warranty and we only have 22,000 miles on the car, we didnt even get a copy of the test they run ,they said maybe we hit a pot-hole and messed it up!!!! All and all when said and done it still cost me $ 401.00 for what they said they did ,we was there four hours so I guess they charged me $100.00 a hour....$ 200.00 was for labor. If your looking to buy a car I would not go here. We have bought 3 Hyundai cars over the past few years and after this it is my last.....

I took my 2022 Ioniq 5 in for routine maintenance and a recall/update. I had been experiencing an overheating issue with L2 charging. It has gotten so bad I now have to charge on the very lowest setting. Highly irritating! Anyway.... I called ahead and made sure the issue was known. When I checked it in the individual also logged the specific issue. When I picked it up I inquired.... first I was told that they were unable to replicate the issue. When I pointed out that the vehicle had not been put on charge at all while in their care, it changed to oh the recall / update will fix that. Needless to say I was skeptical. The response was to if it keeps happening just bring it back. Its 51 miles one way and I took the day off and TWICE highlighted the issue. Just bring it back??? Not an acceptable solution. I told them what the problem was and they never even bothered to plug it in to see what issue was. I twice stated the issue and it was even checked. Had they bothered to plug it in they would have soon realized it was NOT fixed. I absolutely love my ioniq 5!!! Love it... but the service on the issue is souring it quickly. Oh and my Hyundai app did not appear to register the service. Its still showing over due. Update: still no better. I attempted to charge at the higher rate again today. Same results.

I set up an appointment for a recall of my 2013 Azera, it was 2 months out but that was ok! I added to the service a new cabin filter and wipers, also to check the door locks that were not working. During the service, I received and text with the estimates. (Door lock actuator over 2K to fix 3 doors). I called and asked if there was a better price. I received a 300 decrease estimate. I thanked them and said, no thank you we re good. The service person said my car was done with the recall but were finishing putting the doors back together. I called back again an hour later spoke to another service person and they said they were still working on the car and didn t know when it would be done. When I finally got text that it was done the next day, I went to pick it up and found out they never fixed the recall. Said the part wasn t in. Nearly 400 dollars later I have a bill for new wipers and air cabin filter and the price to check the locks but not fix as it was too expensive. What I m so mad about is I could have taken my car elsewhere for the cabin filter and wipers and charged much less. AND I was told the recall was fixed only to find out it wasn t and we d have to come back. Its a 40min drive for us each way. I feel scammed. PLEASE have your service schedulers KNOW they can not fix a recall if parts aren t available before they schedule a service and work on communication with clients.

My husband got an estimate on a vehicle here and decided to think on it and come back later. When he returned here a couple of weeks later, he made the mistake of mentioning we have a baby on the way and the same sales guy from before gave us a new estimate that was $500 more, thinking we wouldn t realize because the sales guy forgot him. If that wasn t enough, they told him they would not be able to tell him the final price of the vehicle and there was a $3000 non-refundable down payment to hold the vehicle. Needless to say, we went to a different Hyundai dealership. Edit: Response to Wilson County Hyundai I can provide info on the sales person who we interacted with, but not the manager who approved the quote each time. While I understand practices were different during Covid, we went to Hallmark Hyundai and they had a refundable $1000 deposit and locked the price of the vehicle. At Wilson County Hyundai, the only difference between quotes was my husband spoke to the sales guy about how we needed a vehicle for our growing family the second visit. The MSRP was exactly $500 more, outside of add ons and shipping with no explanation with this increase. It seemed evident that he didn t not remember giving a previous quote for this vehicle to my husband. This should have been the easiest sale for the guy, but these practices seemed extreme and advantageous, even during Covid times and we found that they differed greatly from other Hyundai dealerships.

The service department was very professional and courteous when I was there, but that is the end of my pleasant experience. 1. Before making my appointment, I asked if they had Wi-fi so I could work while I waited for my vehicle. I arrived at my appointment before I handed over my vehicle, again I asked about wi-fi and I was told I again it was available for me to use. Once I got inside I could not find the wi-fi, after asking a 3rd person, they told me the wi-fi was actually not available. 2. I had waited about 2hrs for service to be completed which to me is too long, especially if you have an appointment. I had received an earlier text notification that my vehicle was ready, but the status online showed it was still being inspected and no one came to get me inside as they did for other customers. This unnecessarily prolonged my wait time. 3. I ordered an engine air filter for my 2021 Hyundai Elantra N-Line. They told me it had to be special ordered. I paid for it and waited about two weeks. No one ever called me. Finally, I stopped by and I was told it had arrived a while ago, but no one called me. Once I got home with the part I picked up, it was the wrong air filter, it did not fit my vehicle. Frankly, if they cant handle these simple tasks, I would not trust them with anything more complex than a regular oil change or purchase a vehicle from them.

I brought my car in because it wasnt holding oil and was stalling on the interstate, I was told it was my oil control valve and that based on my mileage I needed spark plugs. Me and my wife stall out on the interstate yet again and the oil is completely gone just like last time. I bring it back and Im told theyll take a look and Ill hear back in a couple days. I finally hear back and they tell me what I had already known the engine doesnt have oil and that they still needed to continue diagnosing the vehicle to find whats actually wrong. So they saw the OCV was off by .8 ohms and thats whats causing the stalling. They didnt test drive it or do any further testing until I brought it back. I was told the tech stopped there and I was given the car back because thats their policy. I was told today that the original repair was their mistake and Ill be refunded the money for the OCV. Ive been transferred a dozen times, the original part wasnt ordered, I was told it was gonna cost a crazy amount of money to have it expedited due to the holidays.... Everything about my visit and time with them has been unpleasant and nothing short of dishonest disrespectful and unsafe. I had 3 recalls done on my vehicle while it was there as well. 1 was to fix the brights on the car, the thing is they had already been fixed with an OEM Hyundai headlight repair kit.... So they continue to fix them and break one of my original headlights. They did replace it but again you couldve tried to turn them on first. But $900 later we dont have a car we can use and Ive just been quoted $3800 to have my vehicle repaired again or I could come get the car and have another dealership or your mechanic look at it.

I have bought 2 cars here (2013 and 2023), and both times have been excellent! Both new cars. Went to the dealership for regular maintenance for several years and they were always good. Used to drive 45 minutes to get it done there, now luckily I live closer. The sales guys have always been genuinely friendly and, most importantly to me, consistently transparent and reliable. Not pushy at all. Very flexible. Im a skeptic in general and especially of sales people, but I have grown to trust their sales team. We had Bobby this time and he is an absolutely great guy! Bought a car from them after test driving at a few places and the Nissan in Cookeville was like pulling teeth just to find out what interest rate I could expect. Wilson County Hyundai, on the other hand, had no problem being totally up front about all the numbers, and even managed to give me HALF the interest rate Nissan finally put out there. I also had no problems at all with my last car for the whole 9 years I had it, so that speaks to Hyundai reliability. Their warranties are pretty impressive, too. Next time Ill just go straight to them when Im ready for a new vehicle.

Upon paying my bill I was told I needed tires and cabin filter which I knew. I was also told I needed rear brakes and I asked for a quote on above. I am a retired older woman but was concerned about the brakes as my car only has 37,000 miles and I did not have any issues. I talked to my son who was also surprised. I called a reputable company to get a quote on brakes. They wanted to inspect before quoting at no charge. I was informed that my brakes were fine. I am disappointed in the dealership which I trusted.

I am very pleased with my 2021Hyundai Elantra. I have brought my car in for regular maintenance which was free for several visits. Waiting room is comfortable and stacked with drinks and refreshments. Wifi is offered in a quiet area. The people keep me updated on my car and time. I can text at any time to ask about the car. It is very convenient and I never mind waiting because the wait time is not very long and I meet other people and talking makes the time seem to go faster.
