Nishawn couldnt have been better! My income is mixed between both w2 and 1099 money so I was a hassle to deal with, but Nishawn was responsive and cool thru the entire process. I truly believe any other loan officer wouldve cut ties with me due to my FIVE total 1099 avenues of income but Nishawn stuck with me until I got approved. Trust me, I know that I was a headache to deal since I wasnt a typical w2 salaried employee, but Nishawn made it happen. I own my first home and it is the best feeling in the world. I work with Hanna, and we almost called the whole purchase off just based on Hanna. If we questioned her on anything in regard to the loan, Hanna would be very defensive and rude. After we complained to the dealer we were getting tiny house, decided to tell us then we were not the only people who complained about her. I am sure there are better loan officers just not her.

We worked with Bryan on our mortgage. We met him by attending one of his first time homebuyer classes earlier this year. And when it was time for us to buy, we contacted him right away. He met with us promptly and we started the process very fast. We got preapproved and into our home within 2 1/2 months of starting the process initially. It went very fast for us which is what we wanted but we never expected it to go that fast. It was definitely a blessing. Any challenge that we met along the way, Bryan helped us through it and we found a way around it. Bryan is very knowledgeable on everything that comes with buying a home. And he answered all of our questions. It felt like we had some challenges with getting a response sometimes, or sometimes feeling like we re getting different information from him and his team. Especially his assistant, Bo, I honestly never really felt confident after she would give me an answer about something. And I always felt like I needed to check with Bryan and ask him the same question to get the real answer. But overall, we got into our dream home, and he made it happen for us. That s all that matters to us.

I wish I could leave a better review, as Foundation Mortgage came very highly recommended from my realtor. Unfortunately, our transaction did not go smoothly. While no mortgage company can guarantee a specific closing date, Foundation was not transparent with us regarding the delays they were experiencing behind the scenes with my transaction, even when asked specific questions about certain items that might (and ultimately did) delay us from getting the clear to close until the DAY OF our scheduled closing. My loan processor stopped responding to me altogether, and they ultimately cost us several hundred dollars in canceled flight costs, simply for not communicating timely that would have allowed us to cancel our flights before before cancelation deadlines (we were flying in for the purchase from out of state). This was on top of an already VERY high broker compensation fee. If Im paying that much for someones services, I should not have to follow up with them daily to make sure were on track. I know for a fact that if I was not on top of them every single day in the 2 weeks leading up to the closing, we most certainly would not have closed on time. I may use them again for the refinance that will happen when rates come down, simply because they tell me I could get breaks on my closing costs for using them again, and a refinance has less time sensitivity to it. However, I do feel like there were several costs that were higher than they should be, so I think I would still saving money by going elsewhere for the refinance, even with a return customer incentive.

Loan officers in this company are not professional! They really don t care about clients time. Horrible communication. I kept emailing my loan officer and she didn t even respond and tell me my loan processing until I called the customer service and got the answer from them. My wife and I recently worked with Hannah Blevins and Stephanie Smith for a loan on an investment property. We are familiar with the loan processes but Hannah was able to provide additional insight to help ensure we made the best decision for our financial needs. She was always prompt and very easy to get ahold of. (Especially during the offering process when pre-approvals can be time sensitive). After we were under contract, Stephanie Smith took over (although Hannah still made herself available to us) and helped ensure things went smoothly through the underwriting process. Received a voicemail advising me on all my options and how they could save me so much money on my nonexistent mortgage. I called and requested to be removed from the call list. Was assured that I would be taken care of by a very nice lady. SIX MINUTES LATER I received another call from Shawn. I told him I requested to be removed from the list. He wouldnt stop trying to tell me all he could do for me to save money on my mortgage. He did not listen and I finally had to tell him to remove me from the list or I would file a complaint. He stated again he was trying to say me money and I finally hung up on him. If the people trying to handle mortgages cant listen to someone who doesnt want/even have one, that never bodes well for the company. The response makes it even worse. I can accept that it was marked wrong. Happens all the time. The response during the call shouldve been, oops, have a good day. Instead I was talked over, ignored, and had to hang up to get the point across.

Nick and his team are AMAZING! We had been approved for a conventional mortgage with our local bank (who also is known nationwide). A couple weeks before closing, they wanted to change our loan that would haved cost us in an additional closing costs and higher mortgage payment. I reached out to Nick and he was able to get the conventional loan with a BETTER APR, payment and less closing costs AND get the loan closed in an astounding 21 days! By having exactly everything they needed up front, along with getting the additional information the underwriter requested, back the same day, we were able to close on the home we were selling as well as our new purchase the same day!! Its nice to see a company garner 5 stars in their reviews. Buying a home should be, in the final day, a happy experience. Ours with Foundation was not. I will not single out individuals in this review. They know who they are. Apparently asking questions and following up with a real estate attorney for the most important purchase of your life, upsets people at Foundation. Getting specific details in writing to.protect our interests with a realtor and mortgage company also offends them. We went with a USDA loan. The information given to us on this loan regarding the appraisal and what would be needed for loan approval was completely wrong. Asking questions made them angry. We had to take the words of the Fantastic Christian realtor and mortgage people as gospel. Fortunately, the realtor and mortgage company never called or appeared at the closing. Its just as well, we wouldnt want to upset them with questions. Just happy when this was over. Tred carefully with their feelings and anyone they recommend as a realtor. They are a sensitive bunch.

I financed my home with Foundation Mortgage last July. The lender I went to before FMC told me they could not do my loan. FMC was able to be able to problem solve and get me approved that same day. Not only were they able to get me approved but they gave me the best rate I had come across. Upfront, Nick did such a thorough and honest job of explaining to me the different loan products and helping me understand how the numbers played out. Foundation Mortgage has a team environment and no matter who I spoke with in the office, I received caring and prompt service.

I worked most closely with Tamra but the entire team at Foundation Mortgage was incredibly efficient and accommodating. Tamra suggested a loan structure that resulted in a lower overall loan amount (and a lower commission for her) but that was a better solution for me. You cant put a price on that level of honesty and commitment to looking out for the best interests of clients.

Very knowledgeable and prompt at responding to all your questions. Purchased a house in Knoxville while living in another city and had to travel overseas right before closing. I was buying my first home and Nick and his team did a wonderful job answering all of my questions. I was buying my home from a different state but they were able to do everything remotely.
