If you haven t bought a home before and are looking to do so, you need to touch base with Brian and his team. He will look over your individual financial landscape, provide strategic tips, and help you create a pathway to owning a home. My wife and I were trying to find a home for ourselves and our boy and we had a down payment planned, but our debt was keeping us from getting approval. Brian helped us formulate a plan to balance our debt/asset ratio and afford our home. He s knowledgeable, his team is there to help you, and best of all they re all actual people. Brian and his team are willing to bend over backwards in order to help their clients. We had to close very quickly on our home in order to be able to move in before our rent-back ended. Our escrow only took about two weeks! They put in over-time and weekend hours in order to make it happen, and we re so grateful for them. Brian is also excellent at communicating with his clients and with all the other people that have to work together to make a closing happen. All the emails and phone calls to agents, paralegals, and others during the whole process make sure that everything goes well for his clients. I highly recommend Brian and all of his team!!

Brian and his colleague Lauren were wonderful. It took three attempts under contract to finally close because of seller issues and inspection findings. They stayed with me through all of that and made sure I knew where my loan was in the process on a regular basis. Brian explained market conditions to help me decide the best time to lock my rate. Lauren helped me with the details on documents to provide and review for signature. Highly recommend this team for your next mortgage!

There are many different types of loans offered and the team is very nice however, the communication between the client and the process lacks. It was a painful process due to the special circumstances we had. I have purchased a few houses and this by far was not only a unique process but a very frustrating. Almost my entire experience was through text messages with the exception of one staff member gathering documents. There was a lack of communication with the notary causing us to reschedule. The people were very nice to speak with on the phone when there were conversations. I just feel like there was not enough personal conversations over the phone and the entire process relied on electronic communication, signing, and what to expect next. For example, documents sent to the underwriter to see if they would accept it or not..they always wanted more..additional information provided and then silence for 2 days sitting and wondering if the loan was approved or denied. After the loan was approved and closed we waited another 2 days before we received a text message saying everything was official. Overall, I glad they could make it work, but Im looking forward to refinancing for better interest rates and a smoother process.

Brian went above and beyond for us! We just moved from CA to TN in September. Our offer was accepted 11/22 and we closed on 12/20! It was very important for us to be in our new home before Christmas to make new family memories. Knowing a 30-day close might be difficult with the holiday season. Brian assured us it was possible. He was always available anytime day or night that I had a question or a concern. His constant communication was very refreshing. He explained anything and everything so simply that I never really had any questions because he was so through. He made our dreams come true for the holidays and new year. Brian and his team are WONDERFUL. As a first time home buyer and all over noob to the house buying/mortgage process they were able and will to walk me through each step. From day one I felt confident with this team The company I work for allows us to have free consultations with Subject Matter Experts and I was able to make and appointment and they reviewed the break down of the costs of the mortgage and said it was one of the most honest they have seen in a long time and their advice was to stick with Brian and his team. (honestly I really dont remember what is was called but it was similar to an itemized receipt). I had to continue to say no when my realtor wanted to try and move me to her guy who could get me more. This team battled through all my silly questions, all my anxiety filled emails, and all of my screened phone calls from exhaustions of the trying times and the stress of looking. They continued to be positive all the way through. The website is a great way to keep organized and is easy to navigate through. The update emails of what steps have been completed and little videos on what steps are next were so helpful. They could have asked me to sign my soul away with how little I knew walking into this but they kept and honest deal on the table. We originally went with a mortgage company that said they would need another 30 days to close after spending 35 days already. The seller was not willing to extend the closing date, so we were going to lose the house based on their incompetence. This wasnt just a house to us, it was our future. When I heard this news, I burst into tears. We had 13 days until closing and three other mortgage companies told us there was no way we could close in that time. I called a friend of mine who is a mortgage broker in California and asked him if he knew of anyone who could pull a rabbit out of a hat and close a mortgage in Florida in that amount of time. He said, I would say there is no way, if I didnt know Brian. I dont know how he does it, but if anyone can close a mortgage in 13 days, it would be him. Our hopes were low, but we called him. He and his team were so incredibly nice, and he said he would try his absolute hardest. Well, to make a long story short, we closed in 13 days and we are soon moving to our beautiful new home in Florida. Brian and his team are miracle workers. We are so incredibly thankful for them and could not recommend them more highly.

This is my second time working with Brain and his team. Both times were great experiences and I will continue to turn to him for future loans. What separates Brian from others is his attention to detail. Buying or selling a home is usually supposed to be a horrible process to go through. My family is extremely fortunate to have Brian Kimball and the rest of his awesome staff at Waterstone Mortgage to help us through that process. We have been doing business with Brian for over 8 years now and there is no one else I would ever trust. The friends and family that we have referred over rave about them, even our tax lady goes to them after seeing many of the loans Brian and his team have done. Our banks even admit that they are the cleanest loans they have ever seen, and could never beat them! If that isnt enough to motivate someone to look into them, I dont know what will.

I recently worked with Brian on loan for my client and he was truly great to work with! He is a true professional. If there were a 6 star rating, I would gladly give it to Brian and his entire team! Brian took a general query of affordability for a retired Realtor, and turned it into a fully funded closed escrow in less than 45 days. Heres the back story... After selling real estate in California for 11 years and never being able to afford a home for my family, I met Brian through a buyer on one of my properties, and I loved his efficiency and open lines of communication. So much so that I started referring clients to him. I cant recall a single dropped escrow. I wish Id met him earlier in my career! Fast forward to my turn to live the American dream! I had never seen this side of the transaction. Brian and his team took my clearly apparent trepidation, and carried my family to our first taste homeownership! And he did so from an entirely different state, as we were buying in Texas! They communicated loan status every Tuesday, he helped coach us through the entire process as potential obstacles arose, and dare I say it... Yes I dare! Brian exceeded my expectations 1000 fold! This is at least my 4th time having Brian and his team help me with my real estate financing needs. Once again they have delivered an outstanding service. Finding the correct product to fit my needs both in California and in Ohio, they made it possible to move forward in the fashion that I desired. As a first time home buyer, Ive had a wonderful experience working with Brian and his team, Norma and Chai. Brian and his team made the home buying process very easy. It is my utmost pleasure to give Brian and his team a five-star review. I would recommend Brian to any of my friends and family. He is the most trustworthy loan broker you will find. He helped me with my first-time home loan a year ago, and then after finding a new job and having to move to San Diego, I contacted Brian again. Although I already had pretty high expectations for him (based on the excellent initial experience), he kept exceeding them over and over again. To put it simply, my second experience with Brian was just a breeze. Brian and his team are really patient, honest, knowledgeable, and professional in every sense of these words. During my both experiences dealing with The Kimball Team, I was treated with respect. I am pretty skeptical when it comes to many things, so you could only imagine how many questions I would ask of Brian and his team. During my first home purchasing experience I was an exceptional pain in the rear. I know that because I asked so many questions that it was painful to me. To my defense, it was my first home purchase and I wanted to know everything. I also wanted to gain absolute confidence in my mortgage broker, which I did. The Kimball Team was there for me my entire homebuying journey. Brian also saved my escrow during my first home purchase. My escrow almost fell apart when my initial lender decided to ask me for another 5% down just because they made a bad estimate when giving me pre-approval. Maybe they just wanted more money down. Who knows... Well, Brian and his team did a very detailed estimate for me which indicated to me that he does not play games. He will also do the research to identify the best loan product for you. The Kimball Team is group of really trustworthy people (I cannot emphasize this enough). The do all the heavy lifting ahead of time to ensure a smooth closing process.
