Trevor and his team were great. Im a first time home buyer and knew next to nothing about the process. It all seemed incredibly intimidating. However, Trevor and his team walked me through every step. I shopped around multiple lenders, as advised, and ended up going with VU. Trevor and team explained everything to me in ways I could understand, and guided me through the process. They were always available to answer questions, even at odd hours. My concierge, Bailee, was great. Having a concierge at all seemed weird to me at first, but she was always able to help and provide information. Brad sent me a denial letter with notations that didnt even pertain to me after I told him that I was sticking with another lender fue to the incentives offered. I believe this is along the realms of falsfying records/documents and I will be looking into the matter further. They should not be servicing VETERANS with this treatment!

If I was able to give a give star review it still wouldnt justify the amount of dislike I have for this company! I am a veteran and a union member, that being said, is the worst combination for this company apparently... the process started off easy and straight forward. Then when it came down to it there were many problems that we faced due to the work I do. Because of that I had to jump through many hoops and basically felt as if I had to walk on egg shells. It even came to a point where I was even recommended to go with a diffrent lender! After a BUNCH of attempts at fulfilling their requirements ,surpassing the va requirements, I found my self upset and completely defeated! I then spoke to another company about my whole process and they were speechless about the things I have been put through... needless to say I decided to go with a diffrent lender. After less than 15 days my new lender has everything processed and ready to go... worth the exact same credentials as veterans united. This was my 1st home buying process and veterans united completely dropped the ball! At times I felt like giving up on the whole process... thank goodness that I was referred to the new lender. I would not recommend this company to anyone! Stay away... highest rated my behind! Never again!!!

My realtor didnt know much about veterans united. I was referred to them by another more experienced realtor and Im so glad she did. I spoke with several lenders who were all more than happy to tell me no and not offer any help or support for me to get to yes. Veterans United never said no they originally approved me for 40k which can almost be as bad but they gave me something. I went and turned that something around with their help to a 432,600$ house. So a little help and encouragement can go a long way. They made the process seamless. They were always there to remedy any snags and were always by the phone when I was panicking. Out of the whole process they really stood far above the rest of everyone who worked together to make this happen and I will never forget it!

Veterans United has been hands down the WORST experience I have ever had. From the very beginning it took 10 MONTHS!!!! to close on our house because no one department could seem to communicate with another. Fast forward four years, to today. For the past several weeks I have gotten notices taped to my door harassing phone calls from Mr. Cooper Loans and when calling veterans United they assure me that my loan is good and there s no issues. Today I called in because again I got another phone call from Mr.Cooper and to my surprise the woman tells me that my January payment was never made, however, I have the receipt from them as well as a bank statement to prove otherwise. When I confront her with my evidence she says well let me see what is going on because I don t know. CLEARLY NO ONE DOES!!!! I will NEVER recommend this company and if I could I would give -5 stars I would!

Buying a home is a tedious process. The seller can make things difficult as well as the buyer. It all depends on people s mentalities, motivation, and the team associated with both members. Luckily, this process was made extremely easy. The team communicated with both buyer and seller quickly and delivered the information as raw facts. Jake Levy knows loans inside and out. He was helpful, always responsive, had great communication and went above and beyond to suggest how we could better navigate the home selling and buying experience. We sold and bought at the same time, although he was our lender and not the lender on the other transaction, he kept up to date on timelines and made sure we didn t miss a beat to keep everything on track. On top of understanding a real estate contract thoroughly and getting ahead on anything we might have needed before closing time! He had us clear to close in three weeks time, and three days from when I surprised him with can we close early? also very happy with our interest rate, especially since going into this that was our biggest fear in buying! He explained the buy downs clearly and got us a great rate and better monthly mortgage payment than we expected. There just is no one better in this business after five home purchases this was by far the easiest with the lender side of things and we will use Jake again in any future home purchases or refinances! Also, special shout out to Mitchell who works with Jake for checking in, being up to date, and processing everything so quickly and efficiently.

Id recommend that any veteran chose Veterans United. We initially started our loan process with another lending company, not specifically dedicated to Veterans. We found Veterans United and made the switch. It was the best decision we made in our entire home buying process.
