Very serious and concerning communication problems with a loan originator named Kellen. This man could not communicate when our 60 day interest rate lock-in period started nor ended, nor what interest rate we were receiving. When we made an offer on a house, we were astonished to discover our interest rate was now quite different and higher - and without any word of notice from him. A home is a big purchase and you want to feel confident with your mortgage agent. This doesnt inspire confidence. Other people dont seem to have had these problems, though. I suppose the man just doesnt like two women buying a home together? To each his own, I guess, but Id rather he was up front about it so we could just find a different mortgage broker. Or maybe were just unlucky? I dont know, but dealing with this group has surely been an exercise in frustration and disappointment.

He was quick to respond to all requests for new per-approval letters. If i could give less than 1 i would.they are very unprofessional we were the sellers supposed to close april 2nd they asked for an extension to the 16th then on the 14th they informed us that they couldnt write the loan for the buyers. This is after they told us on the week before that since we were the sellers that we could go to the title company and sign. They wasted our time and instead of saying hey we have a couple things to iron out they led us to believe everything was going as normal. So here we are in the new house renting because we cant close on the new one til we close on the old one. Had Brandon been upfront we could have stayed in our old house and saved 700.00. I will NEVER recommend castle rock to anyone and anyone thinking of going with them i will give them the gods honest truth of what they will be facing should they go with castle rock. And i also will never accept another offer from them in the future.

Just went through the process of purchasing my first home. I am using my VA benefit, and Kellen Ferguson took me through the whole process and made it simple. Always answered my questions and walked me through the whole process.
