Not happy at all,all I wanted to do was borrow another thousand dollars, like I had done earlier and then paid off I have had a auto loan through Fortera for over 3 years, they certainly do not mind taking the interest I have faithfully paid to put food in their mouth, but when I have a need, all this fine speech about me being part of their family,is not true.All I am is a jumble of numbers and stats on a credit report, despite being a loyal customer. When my checking account was scammed, I went into a branch of Fortera CU to get resolved. I went into the Madison street branch first and the wait time was very long so Maria called the other offices to see who could assist me sooner. I went to Dover Crossing to close out that account and open a new one.. Pam Johnson closed out the one account and opened a new one. Iam very happy with their service and the way they they handled my problem!

I withdrew money from my account today at the Dover Crossing branch. I didnt know it, but I apparently dropped $40. when I was leaving. Maria saw that I dropped $40, and she deposited it back into my account. When I got home, Fortera had called my home phone. I checked the mobile app, and there was a full explanation about dropping the $40., and it was already deposited back into my account. That was an amazing job by Maria. She really deserves special recognition for being so observant and saving me money. Great job and I appreciate it so very much!

The people are wonderful. However this bank is THE worst for being closed on Fridays. People need access to their money and cannot get it thru ATM deposit. They will also close if their is the slightest hint of weather. Every other bank will be open but then. And ATM is always down. With that said I adore the people that work there.

I usually dont write reviews on places like banks, but I had to write this review! I went to Fortera on Dover Crossing to open my 2 teens bank accounts. Nicole Smith helped us in her office, and she was so incredibly patient, kind, and beyond helpful. She also was just normal acting with my 2 teens so they felt comfortable over being overly serious (if you have teens you know what I mean). They even joked and laughed with her. My teens are always uncomfortable having to do things like that (I am even worse!), but Nicole made us all 3 so comfortable. Despite it taking 1.5 hours, Nicole not once seemed impatient and even helped them set up their app and learn how to use it! I appreciate Nicole more than words! I will definitely request her in the future should I need anything else that requires a sit down!

Theres usually a line when you enter the lobby to see a teller. If you can do your banking business at the ATM or the drive thru, its not a bad idea. Their website is easy to use and offers a lot of info into their products and services. Ive been a patron for a long time, rarely a problem. I would recommend this credit union over any bank.

Ive banked with Fortera for 7 years, and honestly the Dover Crossing branch is hands down the best in my opinion. Very friendly, never seem bothered with questions even if they seem dumb. Jareds customer service is TOP TIER, and he constantly goes above and beyond to make sure any branch hes supervising runs as smoothly as possible, not just for the employees, but the customers as well. Candace is amazing, on top of being efficient and able to answer my questions multiple different ways if I dont understand the first explanation. The Notary, Pamela is fantastic as well. The whole team at this branch is amazing separately as well as working as a team when one doesnt have an answer. Banking with Fortera is hands down the best choice Ive made.

Yidelka was the best help ever and she got my fortera account fixed when i wasn t able to log in. She noticed my name was somehow misspelled on my card so when I made my account it detected I wasn t the owner of my account. She replaced my card and gave me a new one, Thank you!

Poor service & dishonest practices. I removed all my accounts when I found they chargeing me a manual posting fee of $30 per month on my Social Security Deposits that are all electronicly transfered. Checked with a number of other local banks and CUs and found they are the only ones doing this. When reported they refused to refund me the money. I have reported they to the Fed. NOT RECOMMENDED!

This is the absolute worst banking experience I have everrrrr had. I should have saw the red flags when I signed up. I had scheduled an appointment to go to the branch. I arrived at the time of my appointment and still had to wait over two hours to be seen. I signed up for accounts for myself and my children. They assessed unnecessary fees to my account to which I contacted them about. I was informed by the representative that she would report the issue to be corrected and someone would get back to me. I asked her how long, she said within one business day. No one ever called me. I continued to get assessed fees. So, I called in and was told again, someone would reach out to me. Never heard back. I called in again and They suggested I go into the branch (which I dreaded because I didn t feel that I should wait for hours just to resolve this issue. So, I withdrew the money from my account to keep them from withdrawing these fees. They continued to assess fees to the account causing the balance to go negative. I called in again. And found out due to them overdrafting the account, they closed it. Needless to say, they charge crazy fees with no explanation and then close your account instead of resolving the issue and refunding your money.

VETERAN UNFRIENDLY!!!. Worse bank ever I have orders a debit card 5 times in the pass two months and have got nothing in the mail. Have called 3 times as well to Oder a new one all I get told is it s on the way, For two months??? If you try calling you can sit in the parking lot and literally watch this people not answer the phone. Don t bank here if ya ask me!!.

Waited for 27 minutes in the drive thru, but I was the 2nd car. All 3 drive thru lines open 1 person manning them while people stood around inside doing nothing. Then give attitude over the speaker because youre overwhelmed. Always a bad experience at this branch and a toss up at any other. I will be finding a different financial institution as soon as possible.

Worst so-called bank I ve ever seen. My fiancé banks here and about every few weeks we ll be out and his card will be declined. Have to call customer service, wait for bank to open, make an appointment, leave work early to go sort out some issue then still not have card working as they re now mailing another. If you bank here, you ll have to also have another bank or credit card to use as a backup because I promise you this account will be nothing but problems.

Hands down the WORST place to do your banking!! My new car loan is there...its only been two months & things are royally screwed up!! After going in four times, each for over two hrs, things are hopefully fixed. Refinancing ASAP.

I just talked to 2 staff and both of them were rude and not comprehending what I was saying. Autoloan interest rate is really good though that is the only reason i gave 2 stars, I want to give 0 star for the service :)

While I generally have a good experience at the credit union I will not come back to this location. As a member of the credit union who has come in to do business, I expect to be able to use your bathroom. First I was lied to and said there are no bathrooms. Then I was told they were locked for the employees protection. Upon insisting I was told its only for emergencies. I said I had an emergency. Then I was told to go across the street to the Kroger. This is the most asinine thing Ive ever heard of.

I have no problems with the credit union, except for the drive through I have never been able to go through without waiting, waiting and waiting. You can park go inside and leave so much faster. What is the problem with the drive through, would like to have answer to this. None of your other branches have this long of a wait. Thank you please find some way to speed this up. I am in my 60s and dont always feel like walking in.....

Stephanie Casey helped me with my auto loan processing. I had been approved, and when I found my car I was in a hurry to get all the paperwork approved and processed because I had to be at work that afternoon. She expedited the process for me, and it was a Tuesday after a holiday, so I know they were very busy! She was friendly and helpful as well. Thank you Stephanie :)

If you have questions about your credit union credit card expect their card administrator to be rude, condescending, and impatient. They drop the ball with communication freqeuntly, not returning phone calls or alerting you of issues like the Wendys hack affecting you until weeks later.

Ive been with fcfcu for a few years and any time Ive needed help or advice the ppl there have been more than helpful. If they didnt have the answer. They found someone who did. Thanks for being my bank. If you call and cant be patient. They will do a call back to the number you call from or a number of your choice.

Good luck ever trying to call this place. Youll be on hold until you hang up (almost an hour later). And instead of denying your card, they will pay and charge you $30 for going negative even when youve chosen not to have this option several times(I guess I should keep better track of my spending). Other than that, no issues. Ha!

Went in to get information about possibly financing a car loan, and the clueless so called manager melissa was her name couldnt even answer my questions. not only was she unhelpful, she had a rude attitude. when i first walked into the branch the employees were gathered at the desk gossiping basically, and werent friendly. avoid them. theyve gone down hill over the last few months
