Miss Lee Ann was a breath of fresh air. I called a Fortera number dealing with my debit card (An 866 number) earlier in the day and it was very difficult to understand the person on the other line. There also was an echo and delay. When I called the 931 number, I was greeted by Lee Ann’s crystal clear voice and upbeat attitude. She was prompt at helping me find the root issue with my card. She also informed me of a CD program/account that would be beneficial for what I was looking to accomplish for my children as well as helping me to set up a travel fund. Frustrating ATM Experience! I have been a loyal customer of this bank for several years, but my recent experiences with their ATMs have been incredibly frustrating. Every time I attempt to deposit money, the machine displays the message: This machine cannot accept deposits. This issue has persisted for months, and it is beyond inconvenient. As a busy individual, I rely on the convenience of ATMs to manage my banking needs. However, the repeated failure of these machines to accept deposits has caused significant disruptions to my routine. I have had to make multiple trips to the bank, only to be met with the same error message each time. This is not only a waste of my time but also a source of immense frustration. I have reported this issue to the bank on several occasions, but there has been no resolution. It is ridiculous that a bank of this size cannot maintain functional ATMs. I am fed up with the lack of action and the inconvenience this has caused. I urge Fortera Bank to address this problem immediately and ensure their ATMs are reliable for all customers. Until this issue is resolved, I cannot recommend this bank to anyone looking for a hassle-free banking experience.

After putting both my kids in good cars, I found my driving the 30 year old beater around town for a year. I decided to just borrow some money and get myself something newer, so I went to Fortera and met with Kansas about a car loan. She took the time to understand where I was in life and helped set me up in a sweet Corolla hatch, that I love! Ive been with Fortera, formally known as Fort Campbell Credit Union since the late 90s and have no reason to leave them.

Everyone is always so sweet! I had to update my review. I take my hat off to this credit union because 8/2024 I was in the bank, and I witnessed the older gentleman come in with a younger gentleman which the younger gentleman tried to fool the teller into thinking that the older gentleman was his dad. Once the younger gentleman walked away. The teller came from behind the counter. and asked the older gentleman was that his son, the older gentleman replied no he s not. He s just helping me. It smell really stinky to me too of course it did to her because she then got the branch manager involved which I sat there and watched the whole thing unfold. The branch manager took the old gentleman into her office and question him, apparently the younger gentleman was trying to get the older gentleman to get a bank card Because he apparently lost his other one, but the bank manager wasn t going for it I watched the younger gentleman get upset while the older gentleman was in with the bank manager I think they handled this matter very well, once we all walked out of the bank because I walked out when the two men walked out there was someone sitting in the truck waiting for both of them whom was younger than both parties. The guy that walked in with the older gentleman was very upset that the bank Would not give this older gentleman, a bankcard Bravo people should be as shame Themselves trying to take advantage of the elderly. Well, at least I know if someone walked in that bank with my mother, they wasn t walking out with any money Nor will they walk out with a debit card I m the only one that takes care of her business and every now and then she ll go in the bank with me not often I wish I had the Bank teller name and the bank managers name so that I could put a name on here because that was really good work and I m very pleased. I would recommend this Bank to anyone, especially if you re handling your parents or grandparents money rest, assure no one is walking in this bank with a elderly person and walking out with their money, I love you guys keep up the good work. I wish I could put 100 stars on here but I can t so I just have to give them five stars.

I applied for a MELOC. I was told I was pre-approved and everything looked really good. I was then told they were going to have to review my income and property. I heard from the associate after a while that they had to make a modification to lower the amount being requested to which I agreed too. I was told I would be contacted again soon. I then didnt hear anything for a while. I called a couple of times to get updates on my status, and everytime I talked to someone, they said that they were going to call me back because they had to do some digging, I never got a calls back. After some more time, I went into the branch I applied at to try and speak with the associate I submitted the application with. The origional associate wasnt there, but they had me see another associate. I explained my situation, that I felt like I had been ghosted, and why I was disappointed, particularly regarding not getting answers or calls back. She apologized and stated that my situation was not within the standard they set for themselves as a credit union. I acknowledge that it wasnt her fault as she was not involved until that moment and that I wasnt blaming her. At the visit, I still didnt receive an answer, the associate let me go because she was trying to get answers from the underwriter who, in her words seemed confused on my application. I explained the situation again which she conveyed to the underwriter. She didnt hear back from the underwriter during the visit. The associate promised she would personally call me with an update. She did not. A couple days later I received a call from the original associate I started working with who apologized profusely for the way things had been handled. She then explained that the underwriter was inputing my primary residence as an investment property which was leading to the denial of the MELOC. I asked why it was being used as an investment property when I had already explained the situation from the beginning and two other times (my house doesnt receive mail due to how the mail rout was established, so I use my actual investment property as my mailing address, the associate even did a check on my actual investment property and acknowledged that according to what she could see on the computer, there was nothing there, meaning no habitable residence, making it impossible for me to be living there). Regardless I was was told I would have to bring proof that I actually live at my primary residence for the underwriter (utility and electric bills, home owners insurance statement, property taxe statement, etc... which I promptly brought in the next day). When I brought in the requested documents, I spoke with the original associate I engaged with who said she wouldnt be able to look at them right away due to it being the end of the day but she would try and look at them the next day. Almost a week later I called back to follow-up. I was told that other things had come up and my paperwork had been put to the back burner again to which the associate apologized for again. She started to go through the paperwork and went to submit them. It was at this time she informed me that my application had timed out and been locked, and I would have to submit a new application which would require a new credit pull. I declined. I realize this review will likely get a generic apology with no action for a resolution, and it will probably receive some excuse that will be used to disregard my experience saying this is not the standard we hold ourselves too. Well, Ive heard that before, and following being told that, I witnessed that same standard continued. I am rather annoyed now with no MELOC, an unnecessary credit pull, wasted time and resources, and a bad taste in my mouth for the credit union. I dont see myself using Fortera in the future for any kind of loans or credit needs. I feel like the phone representatives, associates, and underwriters lacked effective communication skills which lead to this unforgettable experience.

Please find a way that I do not have to stand in the teller transaction line just to see a personal banker!! This is a complete waste of time and unnecessary. I waited in a long line just to be told to have a seat and someone will be with me. Have a sign- in sheet and a waiting area for personal bankers. Have the personal bankers periodically check the sheet and area. Why should I wait on you It is your job to provide Customer Service???

I visited this branch to make a deposit, I gave the teller my information, once she pulled up my account she looks at me and says oh were you affected by the tornado I answered no, and I then proceeded to tell her about a family member who was she cut me off and gave me my receipt, explaining how my deposit would be distributed into my account because of the amount, I felt that she only asked me, was I affected by the tornado because of my ethnicity after she saw my account balances.

Been banking with Fortera for awhile and have had overall a good experience however, theres 2 people that have done a phenomenal job making me feel family and have gone out of their way to make sure all my questions and concerns were properly handled...Hollie and Ripley did an outstanding job and when I come back for another loan, I want their assistance!

I m so glad that I went into the branch instead of just using ATM. Found out that the certificate rates they offer are very competitive and I didn t feel pushed. The branch on Lowe s Drive is very friendly and I felt like I mattered.

The ATMs never accept cash.You are the main branch you shouldnt have this many problems. Update from the last time I left a review from the 14th of April. ATM still doesnt work. I will be going to a different bank. Dont bank here!

Tori was a great help and very easy to talk with. She was professional and showed empathy for my sitution. My computer has been compromised. I had been scammed and needed help in securing multiple accounts. Although I understand the reason for blocking online banking a short time, to insure security for both myself and the Credit Union. I have been with Fortera for years, back when it was Fort Campbell Credit Union. I fell on some hardships a few years back and they stopped my overdraft. Ive been in good standings since then, but still cant get it back. Recently Ive had a couple things that have come through that threw my account off and subsequent transactions didnt go through. They still charged me $31 and didnt even pay what came through. Whats the point if penalizing people so much when youre not even paying out? Same thing happened on my sons account. I may have to look at another institution, as well as for my other sons ...SMH

I have no complaints about the service I have received from Fortera CU in the approximately a quarter of a century of membership. Today, I would like to single out Jordan Y, with whom I spoke by phone today (01/25/24). Jordan has an excellent telephone voice. She was professional, cordial, patient, and explained things to help me understand what I needed to know to proceed with my request. She listened to my request and solved my problem. Jordan is an excellent interface between members and Fortera CU.

This credit union is an absolute train wreck. I started opening my account online on a Sunday morning and it took until the following Friday afternoon to actually open it. This feat involved providing multiple pieces of identification (numerous times), a video call and three telephone calls to the credit unions sluggo customer service. Going through all of this and they still failed to order my debit card-I had to go into a branch to obtain it. Forteras online banking App is also a hot mess as transactions performed as credit simply dont appear for DAYS. In addition, visible transactions continually move around-its total chaos! And Forteras customer service is simply awful; If you must contact it, I highly suggest you pack a lunch-youre going to be awhile. Update 12/30/23: Obviously Forteras response to my review was just an empty platitude for Forteras app continues to be an unreliable nightmare and their customer service continues to be a disaster. Their ATMs (when not broken) are the slowest things on earth. A short time ago, their entire debit card authorization system went down rendering their debit cards utterly useless. But the worst thing is when Fortera receives a direct deposit; they put it into your account with a status of pending -thus denying you access to your funds. This is the behavior of a typical retail bank, NOT a good credit union. Most reputable credit unions put a received direct deposit directly in your account (available for use) the moment they receive it. Not Fortera. What exactly is Fortera doing with your money while they essentially hold it hostage? Sounds shady to me. Based on all the problems this organization has, I strongly wonder about their true financial stability.

Ally Sheahan, Relationship Manager, went above and beyond helping our family. She noticed positive points on our financial situation and reduced our cars loan percentage rage by 6% and offered fewer monthly payments with out raising the payment. She took her time and listened and found other ways to help us based on the situation we were in. She is still working to help get the best out of our credit score and supporting us every step of the way. Having been a bank employees daughter, I am aware of the daily ups and downs trying to help others with their finances. I was in on Friday to use the coin star machine. I had a lot of coins to cash in, I filled the machine..twice. the first time Paige and another associate came over and emptied it. Both were very nice. The second time when it filled it Paige saw it and came right over, she was very nice and I appreciate her patience with me.
