(2) took our items OUT OF SITE and behind a screen to determine value (3) whispered discussion commenced behind screen like they were sharing government secrets (4) offered price with no presentation on HOW the items analyzed (we had a variation of carats) or HOW value was determined. (5) offered to pay HALF of what was offered at two other local establishments. We did not bother to show them any of the other items we brought because I was not willing to allow them out of site. Did I mention they offered to pay HALF of what was offered by TWO nearby establishments?? For the EXACT SAME GOLD ITEMS? A highly disappointing experience.

Stopped by the pawn shop today and had a surprisingly fun time. I initially went in looking for a camera but had no luck. However, as I wandered around, I ended up at the counter, where two young men, Anthony and another whose name escapes me, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They were also very patient. I'm definitely planning a return visit because of their great service.

We love love love this store and especially cherish one of the best jewelers in the Southeast, Jerry! We drive from another state to have jewelry masterfully recreated or repaired. Most recently he recreated my 33 year old wedding ring by resetting the diamond and fusing rings into a gorgeous band. I have received many complements!
On a recent trip I brought in heavy stone earrings I had not been able to wear in years since hubby first bought for me. They were hurting my ear lobes. I asked Jerry to put clasps on the back in addition to the posts like another jeweler had done at a hefty price on another pair of earrings. Jerry asked to see the backs to my earrings and diagnosed the problem. He searched through his inventory and had a spare pair of backings to try which he said would balance the weight. Suddenly no more hanging or pain! He did not charge me. Instead of teaching me the importance of earring backing balance like Jerry did, my PREVIOUS jeweler either did not know or just wanted to make money.
I cannot write enough about Jerry the Jeweler (who is also a gemologist). The knowledge he has about gemstones and precious metals will “rock” any guest. He noticed today that I kept an earrings and necklace stone-set together in one pouch. and quickly warned me to never put stones of a kind together — because they will scratch one another! Thank God Jerry sold his own jewelry store to move to the South. On a side note, my husband loves Jerry’s jokes. The only thing hubby loves more in this store is shopping from their great inventory of reasonably priced guns, including collector guns, like the Trump Glock he recently bought. It has already increased in value. We were grateful Dillion recommended it and was patient as all of their inventory looked pretty cool. However, we both agree that there’s nothing cooler than Jerry the jeweler! Shop through one of a kind inventory offered at amazing prices at Dicks Pawn Shop (there are several but our favorite is on Joe White Avenue!)

We have found wonderful deals from golf clubs, flute and jewelry. Going back today to get me another ring. The Dicks Pawn in Myrtle Beach and the one on Dick Pond Road are the best out of the 5 locations (in my opinion) very friendly staff and very helpful.

I would ve given this place absolutely no stars if I could. I called the store enquiring about bikes, and the person on the call said so long as I came before 6:00 I could be attended to. I got there 4 minutes before 6, and the doors were already closed. I stood outside while they tended to other customers on the inside, and my friends and I came with the intention to purchase 5 bikes. Then the security guard has the audacity to say- they re closed and I should come back tomorrow. Like that s so disrespectful. We were already here- and he waited until after 6 to come tel us all that. I ll never come back here or recommend this place to anyone.

Read stellar reviews and took a chance ordering online during Cyber Monday deals. The discount codes didnt work as advertised on the website. I was charged shipping per item in my cart (two video games $5.00 each). The seller did not ship my product until 7 days later and used ground shipping, making the final arrival date another 7 days out. I emailed customer service and have yet to receive a response. I would not recommend if online shopping. UPDATE: After posting this review, customer service reached out to resolve. While greatly appreciated, my circumstances did not work with the arrival date of the games. I had the games returned to the sender on the same day of arrival. After a week of no communication by either party. I sent a follow-up email to the seller that the games had been returned, and I would like a full refund. Still no response. My last email was 3 days ago with no response, BUT this morning, I received a full refund. Again, the seller attempted to accommodate me by adding the discounts as advertised and refunding one of the shipping fees that their system adds, unfortunately, automatically when buying online.

Brendan walked me through everything and was very patient with all my silly questions. I had a bunch of mixed up junk jewelry, I had no idea if it was real gold or just fake stuff that looked pretty. He went through it all and by the end of our transaction he had offered me more than I expected! I have to say as a woman I tend to feel like men in this town tend to try to take advantage of you when you admit to them that you have no clue about the business at hand, but I have to say the guys here really went beyond what I expected, and really really helped me out big time! I just started a new job and have not been paid in almost a month now, this cash totally saved me right before Christmas. So thank you guys for everything and Ill see you on payday!

Sarah helped me pick out a beautiful set of earrings for my mother for Christmas, she asked me questions about what my mom likes and what type of jewelry I see her wearing and she showed me the most adorable pair of cat earrings that were absolutely perfect for my mom! TRUST ME. You might as well just go somewhere else. The people are great, dont get me wrong theyre just doing their job very professional and sweet. However, this stores gone down hill. Taken in to much inventory, so dont even try to bring anything in to be sold. Its kinda like the whole thing with Goodwill right now. Company that used to help people getting to big for their britches and getting greedy also making plenty of mistakes along the way. Theyll sell you something for 3x the price it should be make you think you got a deal and then you realize youve been scammed. Just go to the regular store an get it for the regular price at least it wont be used you can probably get it for a lower price. Lower for this economy anyway which, as you know, is ridiculous right now. OH and the warranty is a joke. It does nothing.
