I had a very positive experience with Capital Good Fund. My credit isn't perfect but not horrible either. Capital Good Fund provided my family with an emergency loan due to unexpected circumstances at the end of 2023. The staff were kind, considerate , professional, and understanding. The monthly payments are VERY affordable for our budget and you can't beat the interest. Plus I'm reporting positive payment history to my credit at the same time . I absolutely love Capital Good Fund and am very grateful for them. Thank you for being their when we needed you and for giving us a chance 🙏❤️

This company is horrible. They give false advertisement saying that they help people with good credit or bad credit but then deny people for credit that has bad credit instead of trying to get people to explain why the credit is the way it i! I highly don't recommend if your score is under 650, and if yo got one bad loan, don't waste your time! They Will tell you anything just to get you in the door so they can run your credit report and say it don’t hit hard inquiry, but it does Stop letting the government fool you all.

I ve been trying to reach someone regarding my loan and can t get in touch with anyone. I ve emailed and called but it s been days. I was told in the email they couldn t accept my back statements cause they look redacted even though they came DIRECTLY from the bank. I changed absolutely nothing.

After having a rough year and a hit to our credit we were worried we wouldn t be able to get approved for a loan when our furnace went out. The cold weather was fast approaching and we were desperate to find a solution. There s no way that I could have cobbled a $3,000.00 down payment for my used but new to me vehicle, without the mercy and help from Capital Good Fund. I have not been able to work in my profession for 10.5 years due to getting triple negative breast cancer twice, and a rare head cancer in between the two breast cancers. The accumulative effects of chemotherapy snd radiation injured my peripheral nerves throughout my body. Capital Good Fund, please know that you are helping to remove significant angst and great suffering in this world. You have truly made a huge difference in my pitiful existence. (Not complaining.) Did I really need this. I am having two shoulder replacements 3 months apart. This was so amazing to be able to get some relief and it was very simple and fast. I had first heard of capital good fund last year and after I applied I got a response the next day. As soon as I obtained all the information they needed my approval came through. I am so grateful. This was a great experience and I would not hesitate to contact them in the future. I would give zero stars if I could!!! Do not lie and say you advocate for people who are in need and need help when you truly do not!!! They say they don t care about credit score and they re here to help people but they do . I am a DV Victim and they were worthless with helping me. Also lied about my income when I can prove how much I make but they never even asked me for bank statements or pay stubs etc it honestly is just a messed up process because all they did was just add another hard inquiry onto my credit file just to be completely useless.

This company is the BEST! I have used them twice now for loans for emergencies. Their standard 5% is much lower than what I would have paid if I had put the emergency expenses on a high interest credit card, or taken out a quick loan elsewhere. Their customer service has always been super great, and willing to help if I had any issues (like needing to change a payment date to meet my pay days). Highly recommended if it fits your situation. I wish I could give zero stars. These are terrible, rude people. Nobody answers the phone and nobody returns messages. I had to close my bank account due to fraud which meant that automatic ACH payments could not be made. They do not accept auto payments via CC or DC so I had to call each month and give my DC. Sometimes it would take a week to get someone on the phone. They reported a bogus missed payment and never took it off. I am trying to dispute with credit agencies and hopefully they take it off. Anytime I have gotten CGF on the phone they have been rude, yelled at me, and hung up. Worst experience I have ever had with any financial institution and this includes the bank where I was a victim of fraud. They blame covid for being short staffed. The covid message on their intro is almost 3 years old! How are you still using covid as an excuse for poor customer service in 2023? Pathetic. STAY AWAY!

M experience with this company was surprising to say the least. I was skeptical if it was legitimate and was hesitate to complete the application and submit the required documents and bank verification. I was surprised how easy and simple the process was. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY - FRAUDULENT CASES BEING OPENED FROM SOMEONE ON THE INSIDE! NO RESOLUTION OR HELP! I had TWO accounts opened in my name within 48 hours, they used all fake information, employment, pay stubs, etc and not one person checked to verify any of it. I have been waiting for the company to close and report this for over 45 days with NO help! This company should be investigated along with their employees and directors who let this happen. They are very aware that there are multiple fake accounts opened every day, the MANAGER told me this BEWARE!

Applied for Solar Loan Easiest loan process Ive ever applied for with a GREAT rate that fits the needs of those financially stressed. My $750 loan had been paid off on 7/17/22 and I reapplied again on 7/18. The new loan was denied, although my payments from prior loan were always on time. It really bad business when you have a client that pay off a loan and to not reapprove. I will never refer anytime to you ll. Loyal customers don t mean a thing. LaShonda Petteway

Recognizing the endemic nature of American poverty as well as the interlocking issues that together form barriers to eradicating it we use financial empowerment in a holistic way to meet the needs of our clients, foster true social mobility and chip away at the wealth and opportunity gaps in our society. With a mission statement like that you would assume some type of less than ideal credit from the borrower and openness during the underwriting process. I had emailed them letting them know that I had some negative marks that were recently cleared but may not be reported on my report just yet and that I could send them a verification letter addressing it. No follow up to that email requesting documents, just a stereotypical refusal email and sadly I ll be going in the direction of a predatory lender which I was trying to avoid and had high hopes of being able to do so after reading about these guys. My credit isn t amazing but definitely not the worst, but that s something you could expect from someone needing the service they re trying to sell and I still got denied. Prolly wouldn t be writing this if there was some type of communication from the underwriter before a decision was made. Online they make it seem like there s some type of altruistic subjectivity when going through an application but from my experience that wasn t there.

I have had to apply twice for a loan and from start to finish the process was easy! They are very professional and really give the loans to help you and not hurt you like most loan companies. Had one previous loan with this company which was paid off completely in full, they email you encouraging you to apply again which I did just to be told I was denied because I rescheduled a few payments on the last one. I guess being a loyal customer whos paid off their whole loan on time means nothing anymore. I will no longer refer any friends or family to this company .

I was referred to Capital Good Fund through 211. They are VERY courteous, professional, prompt and helpful. They give you a loan and charge a very low rate. They are obviously not in this to make millions, they are clearly in this to help people. My loan officer was Julissa, and she was wonderful. Always respectful and diligent. Im very thankful for these guys.

Working with Leticia through Capital Good Fund Financial Coaching has been an absolute pleasure. She is accessible - responding quickly to emails, and even offering her phone number for text or calls as needed (despite living in a different time zone than us!). She has a wealth of knowledge about budgeting, credit, credit reports, credit scores, and debt management. On the rare occasion there was something she did not know, Leticia would do research, or connect us with relevant resources or individuals to continue learning more. I applied for a loan, sent in statements so they knew which bank & debit card I use. In one day they responded & said I was approved it was a little less than what I asked for but it was perfectly fine with me because it was just enough. So I sent in the rest of the paperwork they needed. Great right? Wrong. The very next day after sending the rest of the paperwork I get an email saying my acceptance was a mistake because the only card I have been using for years isn t what they can send the money to. Instead of finding different help I thought I would be ok and now under false hopes I have a day to find something else to keep my electricity on for another month! & they have some personal information I never give out! This is outrageous. Came to this company on good hopes and left with a kick in the pants. Thanks Good Fund that s real helpful

Due to the I Covid-19 I had to use this company twice. Definitely was a lifesaver. Applying for a loan the process was quick and easy. The interest rate is very good, it s impossible to get that interest rate anywhere else. Definitely will use them again in the future, if I ever need them again. Instead of racking up credit card debt with high interest rates their Covid loan is the best way to go.

I am a VERY hard person to gain trust with. I did not believe this company was legit by any means. I did, however, research and came to the conclusion that if I didnt just give it a shot I would be in a worse way. It took about a week or so to finally get the documents submitted correctly, and I signed the lender agreement form and am currently awaiting my direct deposit in the morning. So far, I have rated them as 5 stars for their service and gratitude, but I will update if there is anything further.

**EDIT** I am editing this review to give them the FULL FIVE STARS now!! WOW WOW WOW!!!! So after getting my final, closing documents and official loan contract, I am in total shock. Not only has this non profit organization approved me for the funds I need, but they did it at the LOWEST rate I have literally ever seen. This interest rate is lower than my best credit card. PLUS, my first payment is not even due until THREE MONTHS FROM NOW! Like... WHAT?! They understand when applying for the crisis relief loan that you really ARE in a crisis and need help. Not only with getting the funds itself, but with getting caught up again so you can easily pay them back without struggling to do so. Every single other loan you get/apply for will require a payment on your next paycheck. NO ONE else will give you a 90 day grace period like this. Also, typically if you do not sign your final contract by 12pm EST you will NOT be funded the next day. You will have to wait 2 days to get funded. But Leonor was able to help in a special, urgently required situation to push my documents through faster (after trying to get in contact with the loan officers directly for a couple days - bc you cannot call them directly and can only call customer service) for me so I COULD be funded the next business day. She is hands down the BEST loan officer I have ever been in contact with and really takes into account your personal situations and will work with you to the best of her ability. If you need a loan, especially a crisis relief loan due to COVID-19, Capital Good Fund is the ONLY company to work with! They WILL work with you and your personal situations to the very best of their ability and will be happy to do so!! THANK YOU CGF and Leonor for everything you have done for me!! I seriously can NOT thank you enough! You have quite literally saved my life in this matter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. *original review* The ONLY reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took a couple weeks to get to the point of funding and the customer service line has no information to give you. But once I talked to the Loan Officer directly, she was able to very quickly push through my application and helped me in a pinch! My experience with Capital good fund is Amazing! Leticia is an Awesome coach, she makes things very easy to understand and breaks down things in a nice way to help me understand credit and finances in general. Rebuilding my credit has definitely been a great experience working with her. The program is definitely worth the time and effort. I am thoroughly impressed and more than satisfied with the quality of service and the ease with the application process and with the loan officer who processed my loan. I couldn t have imagined a better experience. I didnt even expect a response to my application. To my delight and surprise, my loan was reviewed, granted and funded within a week! Amazingly reasonable rates and conditions. Polite, helpful and responsive staff. I couldnt be happier. If you have an urgent need, meet the loaning criteria, and can afford the repayments, I cant recommend highly enough.

I contacted Capital Good Fund and had the pleasure of speaking with Danielle. I was trying to come up with a solution to help a family member pay down some credit card debt faster and wanted to get some financial counseling. The charges were for very expensive medical treatments, which unfortunately my family member had turned to credit cards to pay for. In the brief minutes with Danielle she asked me a few questions and made some suggestions. I was able to contact the credit card companies and get some of the interest rates lowered and move some of the debt to other cards at zero interest. I never thought of doing this. The result was a savings of almost $4000.00 per year in total interest. The medical debt that was put on charge cards is much more manageable! Thank you for this valuable free advice! It was truly a blessing to me and my family member.

Ive never received a loan in my life and this process happened to be easy and even when I was in doubt they responded in a timely and professional manner and when I wanted to throw my hands up over something small they walked me through it without making me feel incompetent. Lately, we have all had to deal with this pandemic and how it is taking us away from our normal way of life. With all this stress, finances are taking the biggest hit. I paid off my auto loan with Capital Good Fund and the staff have made little to no effort to complete the title transfer. I have reached out to them several times and have not received a response. Lastly, they had a tracking device installed in my vehicle and when I asked about removing it I was told to do it myself. Very Unprofessional!

This is absolutely the worst I have ever dealt with! My daughter has applied for a loan 6 weeks ago with all the correct paperwork, and yes was approved! We have been trying to NOW to get our loan officer to respond. It takes her weeks/ days to even answer. We have sent EVERYTHING that she has asked for. Not sure who is left to contact! Horrible and not professional! I highly recommend to look high and low before anyone has to go through this.

Just recently went through the loan process with these guys and wasnt too pleased. The loan itself is great and itll surely help me out during these times however alot if things werent clearly conveyed or mentioned about the process. Youll likely have to jump through quite a bit of hoops even if you have good credit. Ive gone through the loan process for many things in my life and it almost felt like I was buying my house again for a small helping hand loan.. if you have alternative options like a local credit union or bank that may be easier.
