I had a perfect experience today. I called asking if they carried spare components for sale as my SSD had just taken a long walk off a short pier. I got an upgrade to what I was looking for at a lower price than I expected to pay for the lesser item. The gentleman assisting me also took the time to download a copy of windows on a thumb drive for me so I could easily get my PC up and running with the new hard drive.

Stay away! I had Computer Planet replace a 7 year old Original Equipment Manufacturers part. My keyboard was loose after the repair and would move up and down when typing. Arlington tried to remedy the problem by taping the keyboard in place, yes taping. It did not work and the keyboard is loose today. Less then 2 years later the same part failed. Computer Planet had my laptop for 2 WEEKS! I was told it needed a specific part made by only one manufacturer, although this wasnt a problem with the first repair, he conveniently had the part in his shop. After speaking with other IT specialist I was told it failed so soon because it was either used or the wrong part. It never was quite as secure as the OEM was. During the second repair Arlington now, by his own admission, broke several of the rivets that attach the Mother Board. A few days after that repair, and being charged twice, I have the same problem. According to Arlington when a part breaks is always the users fault. Not because of a used part, shoddy install or the wrong part. When I would call hoping to get my laptop back in a timely manner he was always very rude and unprofessional. That is if someone answered the phone or he didnt randomly close the shop to go shopping.

I brought my alienware laptop I just bought and he upgraded my memory from 16 to 32 gigs of ddr5 ram and also added a second m.2 2TB hard drive and did a great job all other pc stores want just for the memory 85 and up he only charged me 30.00. Hes a good man and I will do business with him again.

I have an older Toshiba laptop wanted to get it updated went to Best Buy they literally didn t even look at it said buy a new one so called computer planet and he said bring it down had a few problems trying to to get on WiFi when I got home he said bring it back and he helped me with that he is awesome very reasonable and very nice to me highly recommend I m very happy with my computer it s like new thank you computer planet !

Terrible customer service. Very unprofessional. Business owner was very rude and said he will charge a fee without fixing my usb and without letting me know in advance and nothing is writing on his contract that says that. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRASHHEAP OF A STORE. Bought a RTX 3070 used but assured had plenty of life left and came with a 14 day warranty. Cash only was a red flag because the door shows the regular credit card logos. Here I am almost 30 days in and the card dies. No refunds. His store looks like someone came in and destroyed it. Do yourself a favor, stay away from Computer Planet and go to a reputable store like Campbell Business Services, a clean family owned place with very low pricing. Theyve been open 40 years! They know how to make sure their customer is always happy

Id give zero stars IF I could. Right afterthr 14 day warranty, I went from 3 monitors to two because the $299 RTX3070 has red blinking lights. Cash payment seems sketchy because he knows the cards will fail. He takes cards for everything else but those special deal cards. STAY FAR AWAY! Fantastic work done by Computer Planet on my laptop. It was running slow and getting error messages every time I would turn it on. Arlington made a few suggestions on how to fix the issue and I left the computer for service. Turn around time was 24 hours and reasonably priced as well. Went in to get my overheating laptop cleaned and fixed. Dropped it off and received it back 5 hours later with it running 20 degrees cooler! Cant recommend him enough! Will definitely come back for any future needs.

My laptop fan had suddenly broken down and I was at a loss for what I ought to do. I called around asking for a quote on the repair and they got back to me the next day. Left it there on Wednesday and got it back on Friday, both fans replaced and a new coating of thermal paste. They re very knowledgeable and delivered quality service. I can t recommend Computer Planet highly enough. My laptop wasn t working right and Arlington diagnosed it in just a matter of minutes. He explained what was wrong and gave me options including the price. He offered options for virus software and throughly explained the differences. I had an excellent experience at Computer Planet. I called them yesterday and asked if they sell chargers for my daughters Lenovo Chromebook and he told me to stop by and bring it in. I asked his hours and he said 7pm however he would probably be there until 10 pm working. So I took a chance and stopped by around 8:30 and he was there working and let me in. And fit the chromebook with a new charger. And only charged $39.99 for it. What a deal. My daughter Paige was thrilled that I got her a new charger for she lost her original one. I would recommend Computer Planet if for repairs or if you need a computer they can build one to your needs.

Had to find a Y-cable (splitter) for some new fans that I purchased for my computer, and Computer Planet had just what I needed. Was able to get it same day AND support a local business. Not to mention, I had a good talk with the owner about PC building. After discussion with the owner I decided to add additional memory and update to Windows 11 on my laptop. He was very responsive to my questions and had my computer done the next day. When I had trouble reloading my security software I brought it back in and he restored back to his updates and helped me load it without further problems. I would recommend Computer Planet to everyone. Great service and prices!

Went there after making a mess myself. Arlington fixed everything for me. He didn t charge much at all. Great service. He won t try to pull one over on you either. I went in another time with my heart set on getting a PSU (watching too many YouTube videos) and he told me the one I have is perfect. No need to waste money on it. Any other place would have sold me a power supply even though I really didn t need a better one. Also he s fast.

After being told by so called computer geeks and computer expert that my laptop computer was SHOT and UNREPAIRABLE and was told that they had nice deals on new computer ready to sale me, I made as a last resort a visit to Computer Planet, (it should have been my first) not only He fixed my Laptop Computer but made it even better then it was with new updates. All this for a fraction of the price of the cost of their new computers. By the way the service was fast too. Thank You Computer Planet, my laptop works great, you have gained a faithful new costumer.

Took my PC there after my power supply gave out on me. Not only did he fixed that but did a full diagnosis on the computer. Answered every question I had and pointed out that the guy that built my computer had put in a used SSD. Will recommend to anyone who is looking to buy a new PC or repair one. Same day fix!

Over a year ago was my 1st experience with this business. Being a senior citizen and not having any knowledge of computers ( other than a few basics ) I found Computer Planet, Scared of the costs and not knowing what to do I relied on them to give me service at a reasonable cost and a good job. I got both and now through not knowing I allowed what was most likely a big mistake someone into my computer in an attempt to setup a device and they said I had a virus and wanted $345. to fix it. Seeing Red Flags and getting scared I shut down my computer and rushed to contact CP and within a few hours and a nominal fee was up and running safely again. Although I cant speak for others I can say I trust and appreciate the service I have received and would recommend this shop to anyone that needs honest fair service

He has been so helpful addressing our computer issues and spending valued time recommending how we can get more life into our older computer. He isn t pushy but instead, he shares valued information for the consumer to decide.. Simply the best computer repair store in the area!!! We had a serious issue with a laptop. Other computer places told us to junk it, at least the ones that were even open. We needed a fast repair. The Computer Planet fixed it fast and inexpensive. They also answered all of our questions with courtesy and non computer geek terms. I pray to the computer Gods that I dont have a computer problem again, but if I do Im definitely taking my computer to Computer Planet!!!

This local computer shop puts the big tech box store to shame. Knowledgeable and a no nonsense assessment of the problem with the most cost effective solution to get the computer back up and running all in a quick turnaround. Within 5 minutes of entering the store the problem was diagnosed, within 5 hours the computer was fixed and ready for pick up.
