7/5/24 called and spoke to Belinda. That's who she said she was. To refinance a car loan. Spent 20 minutes or so on the phone, then she said we need a 10 day pay off amount to call back, and we could finish the loan. OK, cool, got the payoff amount called back.and spoke to another person, not sure the name . They said there was no application started, so we would have to start all over again. I don't have time for games. I've been a customer for a long time this happened before. And won't happen again. I won't do business here, not like one person really matters to a big business..

I have been with this bank for 32 years. My credit score dropped from a student loan I cosigned on. They cancelled both credit cards and one of them had a 1k limit. Really? I called the bank to get answers and they said they can't go into detail. I have a account at Members 1st and went in and talked to my go-to person. Mind blown. Got my card 3 days later from Members 1st. Slowly draining my account at PSECU and then goodbye! You guys are no longer a people person bank it's a shame.

I was a member for at least 17 years multiple loans from them. Miss a payment or too and you are nothing lock your account and put your vehicle out for repo. I’m switching banks

A huge decline in customer service. Auto loan rates used to be the best but are now the worst. I can see from all of the other negative reviews that I am not alone. Very disappointing.

Hold times are absolutely frustrating. I wanted to open up a business account here since I'm already a personal checking account member, but that won't be happening because I literally can't get through to someone to help.

Bought a car. After they agreed to financing and I took possession of the car, they called the dealer and changed their mind! Huge mess ended up financing with a different lender.. When I called, they absolutely refused to let me speak to customer service. I think that's because it is non existent at PSECU

There’s a costumer representative in this PSECU company called Rachel who is a really rude person: lack of education and people skills, discriminative, abusive and words can’t really describe her. My husband does not speak English and after being waiting on the line for more than 30 minutes and being transferred four times waiting for a Spanish interpreter, just trying to make a payment on his car loan, I tried to explain her what was happening, how long we had been waiting and that he only wanted to make a payment, and that I could help with the translation. Her RUDE response was that she couldn’t talk to me because I wasn’t on the account and could NOT talk him if he didn’t speak English, I insisted on explaining her the situation and that we only needed to make a payment and she hanged up the phone. I’ve never been treated in such an unfair and disrespectful way.

I've attempted to reach someone via secured messaging twice and it's been 10 BUSINESS days since I've heard back from anyone after 2 messages to 2 different departments. I haven't heard back from them at all. This is extremely unprofessional and shows that my time or membership is not valued at this financial institution. I do not have the time to sit in the customer service queue on hold for something quite simple. If you are not responding via secure messaging don't make the option available. I have no problem refinancing my loans with someone else and closing my accounts here. This is completely ridiculous!

It is literally impossible to speak with someone. Ive called and set on hold for hours. Ive sent emails through the online secure messages. Ive tried to connect to an agent via Walter online. This is pathetic. Lost my business.

Lots of work to go through a HELOC with zero information (customer service is horrible), then to be told its a variable interest rate. On top of that, if your signature date doesnt match the closing date theyll deny the application and you have to start over, no option to change the date in the system. Nobody could explain to me why the dates had to match, only cited its a regulation. Im sure nobody abuses the fact that these documents are done at home and can be dated whenever. Very inefficient, creates more work for their employees and their borrowers.

Been in a bankruptcy for 4 years now Ive airways been faithful with my payments to the best of my abilities. And now I cant even get information with out filling out a reinstatement letter. PSESU well never get my business again.

If I could rate a zero I would. PSECU came HIGHLY recommended to my husband and I as a great place to hold a mortgage. After 2 months of absolute hell, lost papers, being spoken to so rudely, being told different information from each person I talked to, and pretty much doing their jobs for them from my home, the process was complete and i couldnt have been happier. Fast forward a month, never received my first 2 mortgage bills in the mail, then was told AFTER the fact that because we made an online account everything was paperless. Tried logging online to pay our 3rd payment, while out of town, and they wanted to call our home # to confirm identity. I called to pay over the phone, and despite having sent all documentation during the application process, stating I could speak on my husbands behalf regarding all aspects of the loan, the woman wouldnt even acknowledge me speaking. Kept ignoring me and talking to my husband, who didnt even do the paperwork for the loan!! She kept saying he would need to fill out paperwork adding me to the account, and we were told to begin with I couldnt be on the account if my name wasnt going on the loan!! This bank and its employees are a JOKE!!! They are rude and none of them are on the same page!!

What a fiasco, trying to apply for a vehicle loan. Being told by two employees that it is not a problem but they needed to change information on the account ( update address) then being told by two different employees that you cant apply because there is another person on the account (my wife)and they would have to call in. But yet they can take the vehicle information look up the value, ask for my personal information then whammm sorry cant help you. Seems like no one is on the same page there.

7/25/2018 EDIT: After responding to my review almost a month ago and stating someone would be contacting me, it never happened, Now this bank is holding up my money, because of my negative review, I have already found a new bank and will be closing my accounts with these rude inconsiderate people. Your company needs to focus on teaching its employees people skills. You have the rudest most unproffesional people who answer the phones when you call in, no one wants to assist you like you are bothering them for asking them to do their job. I called for information about a mortgage and a CD and was treated like a child, talked down to, if you call with a simple question you are given an attitude by everyone you speak to. I will be looking for another credit union, after 5 years with your bank, sadly, this is not how you treat people. Read your reviews there are tons of people saying the same thing, a little CUSTOMER SEVICE goes a long way.
