Terrible customer service. I mean just awful. The girls at the front were not welcoming and they treated me as if I was bothering them. They also did a lot of whispering, which I find off. Dealing with our money should be a transparent process. The manager, or whoever she was, wasn’t any better. Thank goodness for the online branch who was helpful and redeemed my first experience with Unitas. Very disappointing. Don’t be customer facing if you don’t like helping customers. It’s really that easy.

We have banked with Unitus for over 20 years. Have had multiple accounts, mortgages, credit cards, and business accounts. We tried to make an appointment to set up a business account and when we called it would put us on hold and then hang up. We tried more than once, and just decided to go in person to the Tanasborne branch. We were greeted by a woman behind a plastic shield, wearing a mask and gloves. (she has ever right to use a mask, but when I asked to use a restroom I was told I had to go outside and up to a different floor because the other restrooms were closed to customers). She was very rude when she asked why we didn’t have an appointment, there were no other customers in the bank. We told her about the phone system and was told we should have scheduled an appointment online. She insisted on Id, which is fine, I understand the security but it was how rude she went about it. We were able to see someone about the business acct, but again, all the employees seem very afraid of being face to face with people and we’re very rude. I understand if you are worried but don’t work with the public then.
We are considering a different credit union, one with better customer service!

We have been customers of Unitus for 13 years now and it has been the best decision we made. Aunjula has been great at answering questions regarding loans and regarding our accounts. Ericka and Jackie are always patient and have amazing customer service. I really like how Charles is quick to step in and assist when a manager is needed to prevent me from having to wait too long. Ti, the branch manager has taken the time to call me herself to update me on specific changes I had requested on my accounts. The team work I see every time I am there is amazing! The call center still impresses me with how quick they answer the calls. This is why I continue to choose Unitus and always recommend them to my friends and family.

Everyone at Unitus has been so welcoming and helpful! I came from another credit union that was quite the opposite. So coming in here was literally a breath of fresh air. Everyone I've worked with so far has been more than willing to work with me and answer all my questions. Omar was my recent advisor and he was an absolute gem. I am in the middle of divorce, and needed a brand new checking and savings account as soon as possible. Monday morning, I called as they opened and made an appointment for the same day! They squeezed me in with no issues for 1:30pm. Arrived and we got right down to business.

Rina Shankar was my Member Advocate, she answered all my questions, and made this process very easy. She was paitent with me and my toddler (who was tired the entire appointment). Within 1 hour she got me taken care of and I will be waiting for my debit card in the mail for about a week. I had a great experience, and know I chose the right credit union for me. Their packages and benefits were excellent and their customer service is even better. Thank you Rina! Helping this single mother out!

I am hesitatnt to post this but: Stuck 1000miles out of town with a blcoked card cause of a mistake over the weekend. Nobody on the callcenter in Timbuktu wants to help to remove the block or overnight us a card because they dont care!?. Will unitus compensate us for being homeless in 120° weather in Vegas while they are unwilling to unblock the card and allow us access to our funds so we can drive home? But for sure we will be switching banking institutions when we are back. This cant be it, its a simple fix and weve been expierienceing card issues quite often. VERY UPSET!

I have been a fan of Unitus since I became a member in the late 1980s. I have always received great customer service but I wanted to especially call out Jackie at the Tanasbourne branch for her extra help today. I was stressed and she went above and beyond to get several of my to dos crossed off!

I ran into some hard times and never had to ask for a loan. I went into my bank and worked with Aunjula Perveen. I only wanted a small loan to get me through the week till I got my workmen s comp checks. She helped me get the small loan and helped me refinance my car so my monthly payments would be cheaper. On top of all that she gave me a gift card so I could get food for me and my pets. I have been with this bank since I was 18 and I wouldn t bank with anyone but them. And this is just one of many reasons why I bank with them.

I was compromised on all levels from a personal situation in my life that had me sleeping in my car for 2 nights with 28 cents in my pocket. Member Advocate, Rina Shankar, immediately empathized with my situation. She quickly identified an action item game plan that secured my credit, accounts, and forwarded collateral cash from a Stock hard check that I had in my possession. I walked in broken and walked out with tears of compassion in my eyes. Rina and Tanasbourne Unitus is a Most Valued Member of my professional team as I walk forward in life. Thanks, Rina! I was able to eat that night and shower. I hope in the future we might be able to collaborate for a non-profit charity whose main focus is Kindness One Cup at a time!

Until now I always felt that applying for a C.Card or Loan from a Bank ment having to negotiate with an emotinless banker. Thats not the case at Unitus. I was treated with complete respect and empathy. When others look for reasons to say no, Rina looked for reasons to say yes. Rina Shankar was truly my Advocate and Unitus Community Credit Union is my bank.

Customer service is terrible. They take 10 times longer to do anything here than the Beaverton branch does. I will make sure my new business opens an account elsewhere thanks to the service received at this establishment.

I was researching HELOC rates/terms with different banks and someone at a different bank recommended that I speak with Aunjuhla at Unitus because she is so knowledgeable. I am so happy for his recommendation! (His bank wasnt offering HELOCs so he didnt lose business). Aunjuhla explained everything and made the process so simple. She worked, on my behalf, with Kevin Quinn to get my funded HELOC moved to my checking account and converted to a fixed rate. Kudos, also, to the Loan Dept Mgr who answered every single question I threw at her with aplomb and helped me strategize how best to approach funding (fixed loan versus variable rate) for my purposes. Everything was seamless and timely. I couldnt ask for a better experience. Unitus is not my primary bank but the Customer Service is so good, Im seriously considering moving all my accounts here.

Not for business owners. Unitus is not set up to handle business banking - 3rd party verification codes are continually sent to the wrong number which makes simple things like an online deposit impossible. At one point, I was asked to call to verify a transaction and couldnt because I didnt have my business partners SS# - even though it was my own transaction. Unless you are a one-person business, Unitus is not for you

Fees, fees, fees. Customer service is not the biggest concern, though it is not very good. Every interaction and policy with this company is everything a community credit union is not. You would be better off banking with Chase or BoA. I would sincerely recommend another bank. This is not a community bank.

Have been with this bank for 26 years and I just had a less than pleasurable experience with customer support. They wanted to charge me 1$ to send an email with my account number. They use to provide the account number over the phone if you verified your identity. Just a really bad experience with a normally great bank.

Best Service Ever: Seliza, gave me 5 start service today. I called about a fraud alert I received over the weekend. Seliza, Listen to what I had to say, asked clarifying question based on what I said (not some script response). Once again she listen and determined what information I needed to put my mind at peace. She called another department (she didnt blind transfer me to the back hole.) She got the answer and talked to me. Seliza, listened - asked relevant questions - took responsibility and got an answer to give to me directly making sure it was what I needed. ***** 5 STARS to Seliza.

I ve been a couple times at this location and both times the costumer service has been excellent, nothing to complain about it. Also this credit union has pretty low interest rates for car loans. I definitely will come back to refinance my car loan at this location.

Very convenient for people with other credit unions. Im thinking about opening a membership soon at Unitus because the cashiers are also very friendly. Now they have Nargelyn who speaks Spanish. Very good solution for Hispanic people.

I left a very negative review of Unitus a month or two ago. I can see now that they have improved their online banking and everything Ive complained about has been taken care off. Ive been with Unitus since about 2008 and have always felt welcomed in the branch and would never think of leaving. The service is personal and real and I appreciate that.

Aryn was very helpful with all the questions that I had. Needed to get a replacement card and She was able to get it printed right there in the office. I also had some other questions and she was able to confidently answer all those questions and get me in and out in about 10 minutes. I am working on setting up an income cap trust for my mom. It was not an easy process from all the state,federal.banking and Medicaid co-ordination. I worked with Mr Charles Torres in establishing this account, I am so very thankful of his patience and professionalism he displayed during my very Stressful fact finding mission. I came in today and opened the new checking account and am very pleased. I would also like to state that my mom and I have had a savings account thru unitus and we both enjoyed having them as a banking partner for loans and savings. Thank you Unitus.

I have been a customer of Unitus for over 45 years and would like to express my appreciation for the excellent service given recently by the manager at the Tannesborne Branch. She listened to my need and took the time to show the value of the customer by taking immediate action, inspite of her busy time constraints, to promptly take care of my need regarding a banking transction with another institution. I received a next day reply from the institution that the matter had been resolved. Again this was service beyond expectation--demonstration of the value placed in meeting the need of the customer. Ive been going to Unitus for a few years now and theyve always been very helpful and friendly. Me and my partner recently opened up a line of credit and Casey was extremely helpful, thorough, and efficient with assisting us in this. He went above and beyond helping us, emailing us back right away and giving us step-by-step instructions on what to do next- and was super easy to talk to!

I have decided to change my review since after one really bad experience, this low-staffed credit union seems to have improved, a little. They still quite often only have 1 teller, which is not ideal. I can say that the tellers are usually friendly.

This bank is great! I am always helped in a quick manner and everyone knows my name! They are courtous, professional and knowledgable of questions asked. A wonderful place to do all my banking.

The staff was efficient and friendly. There was no wait. Bonus: free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. They also have public restroom. Winner!

Staff is so helpful with amazing attitudes! I always look forward going in. Banks tend to have hostile environments with long lines but never with these guys.

Refinanced a vehicle loan with ease. Staff was very helpful and courteouse. Bank manager was extremly helpful and noligable about what i needed. I would recomend everybody to do this! Interest rate went down also. A great experience all around!!! Thank you Unitus Community Credit Union and Miss Ti Lee!

Ive always had a great experience with Unitus, Ive been a customer for about ~10 years and have received consistently helpful customer service and respect. I have had car loans, checking/savings accounts, and my home mortgage through Unitus. The home mortgage is the one negative I can report. It was not made clear to me that Quicken does their underwriting, meaning my payments and communication is through them. I purposefully applied for the loan through Unitus because I wanted to do business with them. Overall though, I highly recommend Unitus for your banking needs. One of my favorite benefits of using a credit union is the 40,000+ shared ATM machines available at no cost (including every 7-eleven). That, combined with the free coin counting machine, dedicated lines for customers, and courteous service, I imagine Ill continue to be a dedicated customer for years.

I was considering opening an account here until my boyfriend was treated so poorly by the credit union. $30 per transaction (unlike $35 per day from US Bank) for overdraft fees without any kind of notification that the account was overdrawn... This is why I won t ever bank here. They don t care about their customers, they just care about tacking on a fee for any possible mishap on their customer s part. $90 in overdraft fees in a 6 hour period. Ridiculous. When we asked about wanting to switch over to US Bank and close out the current account, the teller said she couldn t help us and we d have to call the US Bank. Wouldn t we need her assistance to close out the account and retrieve funds? Poor customer service, sneaky loop holes to gain money out of their customers, unfriendly staff. I won t ever be trusting these people with my finances.

Not my credit union, and I regulary use the ATM. Ive only gone in twice and staff is efficient, friendly and fast! Plus, theres a bathroom!

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ANY BANK IVE EVER USED. I needed a new debit card and so I went into the branch to order a new one. The teller told me that they would call me when the new one came in. No one ever called, so I called the main number. TURNS OUT THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO ORDER IT. Also turns out thats not even the proper protocol, they either print a card on the spot when you are at the branch, or they send you a card by mail. Unreal and a giant waste of my time not to mention the inconvenience of not having access to my money for 2 weeks.

There are a lot of bad reviews on this site and Im not real sure why. Tanasbourne is a very busy area and Im sure that Unitus has a fairly tight budget. If the customer service was lacking, its probably a result of the new reality where there are many people and not so many resources. Coming from an area where there are many people, I appreciate and understand this reality. I have nothing bad to say about this branch.

Awful customer service! They had me in tears and I was so upset with just trying to pay a loan from a shared branch through them. If I could just go in to the original I would but I cant cause its 30 miles away. Lady just kept saying she doesnt understand what I want when all I wanted was to pay part of my loan through them. Ive never had an issue with it until now. Ive been doing the same thing for months now and suddenly they dont know what Im talking about.

This location has a very old, envelope deposit walk up ATM. But, CU24 and CO-Op ATM Networks.

Wish that Unitus would make it easier to pay my car payment on line. Running it to the branch is inconvenient. Opening a Unitus savings account and transferring the funds each month (added fees included of course) is a nuisance. This is the only bill I struggle with this way. Unitus could make this very quick and easy for me...

I just called in to the Tanasbourne branch to talk about my account, and the gentleman that I spoke to was condescending when I told him I didnt have my account number and he said, how do you want me to access your account then? Didnt give any options, so I asked what other ways he could look it up, and when he stayed silent, I told him that I could give him my SSN. I had to tell him multiple times my story before he finally seemed to understand what the problem was. Not a pleasant experience.

I have done so many things with Unitus Community Credit Union in 188th Ave, Hillsboro, OR. the Banker very professional to services and explained to me what ever I need, to make my things done in the right time manner, even I have my Credit Union acct at my home state.

I love, love, LOVE Unitus!!! They have done so much for mine and my husbands credit. Service is always great and we never have problems with wait time. There are plenty of locations around and atms everywhere. We even got our son who just turned 18 an account with Unitus.

HORRIBLE customer service by associates and unprofessional bankers. Ontop of that they keep your chexk for over a week. Not acceptable will definetly leave this bank. Im going back to my river mark credit union. I HIGHLY do not recomen this bank
