Been doing FFL transfers with these guys for years now and I can tell you they are the fastest and best priced place in the area. They are the only ones that have ever got on the phone to get my background check pushed through so I don't have to wait 2 plus weeks. Great guys I give them all my business.

This has been my go-to FFL transfer location since moving to Oregon. I have had them process four firearms for me, and everything has been very smooth and professional.

The staff has very helpful and friendly. I had a lower shipped in right as measure 114 was set to go live, so they were unable to process the transfer for me at that time. They were very good about shipping the item back to the seller for me. All I had to do was send them the return label and they took care of the rest.

The pawn shop itself seems to have a good selection of items. I would definitely recommend this place for both the storefront and the FFL.

A Cut Above pawn is awesome, they are kind and helpful, this has been my FFL for several years, I trust them to take care of any FFL needs, I go to them for transfers as well. Rude, threatening and arrogant. They keep files on clients they dislike and then lie to the ATF to get them investigated. They act as if the 2nd amendment doesnt exist if you are gay/brown/etc.

Been coming to Cut Above for a long time, you wont find this name in your system John cause I made it up. You made a mistake with hiring Robert though. Fella is flat out rude, looks down his nose, and very condescending. Ask him a simple question and he makes it seem you are an inconvenience no matter the question. I wont stop coming in but if Im looking for something and hes there Ill probably go somewhere else just so I dont have to deal with him. Used to be a great place to come and learn and chat for a few now its just cold and scratchy.

The cleanest pawnshop I ve ever seen with decent inventory of useful stuff, though I ve never been a purchaser. I have used them primarily for FFL transfers and they are immaculate professionals in providing that service, both for private party transfers and receiving online orders from vendors where a transfer and background check is required. There are options closer to me and I still choose this shop for service.

I went in looking for a specific rifle and and they had it. Gave me a nice deal on the rifle and a discount on a box of ammo. The background check was quick and easy. I dont think I was there for more than 25 minutes in and out the door, fast service, nice guys.

I am from Northern Idaho where we have several locations of a great pawn shop. I had not found this here until I went to A Cut Above Pawn shop. They carry a wide variety of items like jewelry, guns, video games, instruments, and many others. A Cut Above is a cut above for FFL transfers. I purchased a firearm on line. Had it sent to them. They call in their background checks. I was still filling out my paperwork when they called in. Phone call got answered on first ring. So he had to call again when I was finished. I was in and out with my firearm in 20 minutes from the time I walked in. The staff is beyond friendly. Always glad to help or show you something they have. Great experience.

This is the only pawn shop I will ever use again. They really are genuine and straight forward. They re not there to get rich off you. They know there shxx about pretty much anything firearm and firearm accessories. They know there ammo like it s the gospel. I actually challenge someone to try and stump them! I brought in something I knew the big box USA stores wouldn t have known anything about it because it didn t plug in but low an behold a cut above knew and like always gave me a fair deal. I never leave long reviews but they deserve it. They treat folks in tough times with dignity because they ve been there. It s because they ve been in tough times too that there prices on firearms are frickin amazing. P.S-If you are a firearm beginner they will walk you through your purchase step by step

The is the best pawn shop you will ever go to. The store is super clean, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They work for the benefit of their customers by giving them the best advice to save them money. I recently had a problem with my rifle that needed to be sent back to the dealer but the A Cut Above Pawn staff helped me resolve the issue at no cost which saved me a nice amount of money. Today was a GREAT experience at A Cut Above Pawn in Beaverton. At first, I was just killing time, and wanted to see what guns they had in stock. And then Alan was helping me, and showing me different rifles that I wanted to see. He was extremely knowledgable about firearms, and by the end of the experience, I ended up purchasing a handgun that I really liked. I explained to Alan that this will be my go-to FFL from now on, for all my shipping needs, and it was refreshing to talk to someone who knew the firearms industry, and not just an off-the-street retail associate. Ive been a customer for over 10 years now and have never had anything but a great experience with every visit. They really try and help you with all aspects and want to help make sure you get your items back and paid off. The staff has always been businesslike and friendly. Their knowledge of the products they loan on has been superior to any shop Ive been to in the past. Would not go anywhere else. The merchandise in the shop is higher priced but matches the higher quality products they offer perfectly. The store is clean and organized and the hours accommodate most every schedule. I would give them a 10 out of five stars if I could. Hope this helps.

I highly recommend this shop! The staff at A Cut Above Pawn are AWESOME! I have dealt with them several times on FFL transactions and they have been reasonably priced and have been friendly, helpful, and non-judgemental every time I have walked in, regardless of who was working that day. Some other shops Ive been in, as a female looking at firearms, have been very uncomfortable, and I have even been completely ignored at shops in the past. I have never had a negative interaction, or even a less than friendly vibe, from anyone on the team here. They have always greeted me as soon as I walk in, and were extremely helpful with a repair transaction. I really appreciate their help, and will definitely be back when I am in need of an FFL!

My first visit was to pick up a Gun Broker buy. The staff was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation , knowledge and efficiency of the staff. The gentlemen assisting me even tolerated me retrieving my phone from the truck to share a gun photo. : >) The nature of the business may lend to a different experience. However, I was further impressed with the large selection that encompassed everything from modern polymers to well crafter steel and wood of yesterday. I bought a firearm online and UPS ended up losing it during shipping. The company I purchased it from reported it to the ATF who confiscated it when it showed back up. Finally it gets cleared to be released but since I hadnt officially passed the background check A Cut above Pawn had to deal with getting the firearm back. Considering it happened during these crazy busy/stressful times it just made it worse but A Cut Above Pawn came through. They were very professional and dependable. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to do an FFL transfer. Nothing that went wrong was the pawn shops fault but they still fixed everything and got my firearm to me. I have all my FFL transfers done here, theyre pricing is very competitive. They are always fast and professional but never pushy like a lot of pawn shops can be. I was honestly surprised by the guns they had in stock. I also purchased some ammo here, not only was it in stock but it was cheaper than most places especially once you take s&h into consideration. Clean, polite, professional, great merchandise, great prices the list goes on. What more could you want?

This place is my go to FFL. They have fantastic service and a very knowledgeable staff. I have used them several times for transfers and receiving of firearms from online orders. Their prices are also some of the lowest around. Recently they assisted me in transferring a pistol down to CA which is something many FFLs wouldnt even consider. It is always fun to stop in and see what they have as their stock is constantly changing and they very often get in some rarer and more unusual firearms. Their prices are fair and typically in line with market rate, but that is not to say that you cant find a steal of a deal. Definitely a shop that values customer service.

Allen (not sure of the exact spelling) was super helpful!! i went in thinking about getting a bass guitar, within minutes of entering i was leaving with a bass that i got an insane deal on and it came with a super nice case and he threw in a shoulder strap for free! they had a lot of really cool stuff here and the service was incredible. definitely would recommend compared to other pawn shops!!

Ive been going to this shop for the past 6 or 7 years. The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable, the firearms selection has always been the best in the area, theres no BS, they are willing to work with you on pawned items, their prices are fair both in what they charge and what they offer for an item you bring to sell or pawn. Ive never left the shop feeling like Ive had anything but a positive experience. Ive pawned, sold, and purchased items here, and have had online firearms purchases shipped here. Its always been hassle free.

I ve been coming here since I moved from CA. They re right down the street from me and have great hours. I mostly come for the incredibly fast and competitively priced firearm transfers. Their prices are actually pretty good considering the current climate and even before, I got some awesome deals. I ve bought quite a few guns here and the staff is very knowledgeable, if you re not they won t steer you wrong.

After stopping by 4 different pawn shops, in desperate need of a loan on a piece of jewelry I recently purchased for well over $5k, the folks over at A Cut Above Pawn came to my rescue. NOT ONLY was the staff helpful, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly, they really went Above and beyond to help me get close to what I needed. These folks understand what is happening in the world today, and they know that we all need a little help from time-to-time. A Cut Above is the perfect name as these folks truly are A Cut Above every pawn shop I ve dealt with. Daughter needed a bass amp, so looked on Craigslist and saw an ad for an amp that was just the size I was looking for, and it was at Cut Above Pawn. Went in and the fellow there (really bad at remembering names) was friendly and helpful in letting me check the amp out. He plays music, too, and happened to have his personal guitar in the shop, so got to see that as well; a beautiful Paul Reed Smith guitar. We were in and out quick and got a great deal on a great bass amp. Thanks A Cut Above Pawn!

Hands down the best pawn shop / gun shop around. I have been going here for quite a while and the staff are all amazing. They are honest and fair with pricing and go above and beyond for their customers. They do firearms transfers and have an amazing selection of guns. This place never lets me down. FFL transferred several times and somehow my background check has come back in 4 minutes flat-! Cheapest place in town too, by far! Wont go anywhere else!

Drove from Monmouth to meet someone at A Cut Above Pawn to have an FFL transfer done. The guys in the shop were awesome and super helpful. The transfer was smooth and easy, and on top of it all I don t know any other shop where you can have an FFL transfer for the price they offer! Pretty stellar deal. Went in for one purchase and ended up leaving with two because they had great inventory and were fair in pricing too. I will definitely be doing any other FFL transfers through this shop given I have the time to drive up!

It s rare you walk into a place and the entire staff is outstanding, time and time again. They always help me ship stuff out, transfer ffl items in, and have lots of games, tools and ammo in stock. Picked up some studio speakers as the perfect gift, and it was right when I was looking for those exact monitors online! Gave me an awesome price, and was very helpful. Pre-panic this place was great to deal with, firearms and ammo wise, pre-panic I would have given them 5 stars. They are still good for doing a transfer person to person, but they are price gouging ammo like a madman. Steel case 7.62x39 122grain JHP they wanted $325 for 500 rounds, I can buy a case of a 1000 rounds of the same Tula ammo for less. Going to take my business elsewhere from now on.

I have used a cut above pawn at least five times now and they have treated me like family. They have been amazing and the one time I needed help paying for the item to get it back, they worked with me. I m so thankful for them because they weren t there I wouldn t have my house, and I wouldn t have been able to keep my house. I am forever thankful to them, I would not hesitate to recommend them highly. They also have items to purchase which are reasonable.

I went in looking for a rifle and the staff there went above and beyond helping me remove the muzzle device on an arsenal AK. They even stayed open past their posted hours and really were deticated to the sale. I was given a very great price on the rifle well below the asking price and I could not be happier with the service and overall experience there. I cannot recomend this pawn shop enough. It really is a cut above the rest!

This isnt the pawn shop of old...this is a family friendly place to do business. Need a few bucks to get you through? This place is a great alternative to those costly payday loans! Also, buying here is pretty good...the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to help. The goods and the store are clean and the staff make you feel welcoming. Parking is okay, but getting in and out of the parking lot can be rough during heavy traffic, best to avoid rush hour, or come in off of the backroad.

I was Recommended by a family member said they were great people saw a ad on armslist for 2 different shotguns I called asking if they had both still gun confirmed saying yes they were still there I drove from Oregon city taking 50 minutes on the count of traffic get there guy brings out the wrong gun and informed me he sold both days ago I told I drove a hour to get there and he shrugged me off said thats how it goes I feel thats very wrong thing to do to someone so I brought my business elsewhere I think me only spending 370 was not enough for there time I will never purchase a firearm from theres shady people and recommend the same to others

Only place that I will go to transfer any firearms ! There is one problem with going in ,I cant seem to not buy a Gun or something everytime ! Wife almost banned me from there !lol . Really friendly staff ,and are not posers they know their stuff and if they dont ,they ask !!! And lastly everyone is very patient with an old man like me ,who when talking guns I tend to rattle on and on ! GOOD PEOPLE !!!
