Justus and his team are fantastic. They check up regularly throughout the home buying process and respond very quickly to any questions. They gave us a competitive edge in an otherwise dismal market. When we finally went into contract and started looking at mortgage options a local bank offered a 7-1 ARM that just couldnt be beat. After talking with Justus about our options he agreed that at this time the 7-1 option looked like the best offer so we ended up going with someone else. However, if I ever need to refinance I will be coming to NFM first. They do a great job of providing clear details to light the path in the overwhelming darkness that is mortgage lending.

Michelle Brueggeman is the best! Our loan process was so easy! I did very little work and only really needed to provide documents. We had a skype session to go over our loan options in depth and decide which plan was best for us. You receive a dos and donts list to abide by during the process of your loan. We were given the clear to close within 18 days of going into contract with no hiccups! She even got us an appraisal waiver. The absolute best.

My dream house happened to be a bank-owned foreclosure which meant surprise plot twists were a guarantee. I initially was planning to go thru a non-traditional lending process and late in the game switched to traditional lending incl. a challenging 203k loan. So I decided to do the grown up thing and purchase my first home at the age of 50 in 2017. The first contact I had was with the receptionist Chelsea, extremely adorable and charming young lady. I then spoke to Nick who ran my credit and told me what I needed to do to get my debt to income ratio balanced as well as what to do to get my credit score up. This was accomplished in a couple of months. I re-contacted Justice Sharps team at NFM and began to work with Billy Hollis. Mr. Hollis re checked my credit score and advised there was a few more things that needed attention. Finally got those taken care of and the search for a home was on. Billy was with me at every step of the way,explaining in detail and plain English. I must have bugged this poor guy at least sometimes 4 times a day with concerns or random questions that popped into my head. (maybe a little ADD). Billy at no time acted like I was a pain or bothering him. His customer service and assistance is paramount. His dedication to his clients and customers are unbelievable, he made me feel like I was talking to a friend and I was their only client. So now we are at the final stages before closing. The appraisal .. Well as my luck goes, I sent all paperwork over to cover the cost of the appraisal by credit card . I received notification that the appraisal was ordered. Went to check my credit card statement to see if the transaction was applied to my credit card , Mind you this card was dedicated to this process of the appraisal . I noticed there were several things that my card was used for in Texas, New York and other places I have only seen on a map. I contacted the credit card company and they advised all the transaction took place on the first of the month on the same day. This was 2 days before I had faxed my information to NFM for the appraisal. I notified Billy and explained what happen, he stated, Let me see what we can do. Resubmitted another form with a different card number and all. Needless to say I was worried this would look bad to underwriting , and lets face it they are the ones that hold all the cards . Billy called me back the next day and said, I spoke to the branch manager and its taken care of we will not be charging your card at this point we will continue forward to closing. I was in complete shock. I was speechless . They honestly know what customer service is, and are actually there for me. These guys are great!!! I never imagined that I would be able to buy a home and was only checking into it. They made it so easy and were some of the nicest people you will ever get to work with. Justus, Nick and Joseph always kept me informed of every little detail and were always on top of things. I recommend them to anyone that mentions buying a home!!!

We just purchased our second home and Justus and his team were there every step of the way. It was a complete opposite experience than what we had with our first mortgage, at a large and well known bank.They truly went above and beyond from the start to the very end. They treated us like family and made us feel like they were just as emotionally invested in the process as we were. They are so creative and knowledgeable and without a doubt I will use them in the future for numerous reasons. I have recommended them to everyone I know and will continue to do so. We personally met and dealt with Justus Sharp, Loan Manager Stephen Ricci, and assistant Nick Bowden and I couldnt speak any higher of them. They are very timely, responsive, proactive and always willing to take it a step further, and my husband and I are so appreciative.

My husband and I began the home buying process first with Wells Fargo. Instead of purchasing the home, we were going to assume the sellers current loan and make the house ours. What seemed to be an easy process turned out to be a long, drawn out process filled with us sending the company over 50 pages of information just to clear us. We pulled out of the assumption process after a failed attempt, and were afraid we wouldnt be able to take over the house we desired to have. That was until Justus and his team stepped in, and assured my husband and I that he would do everything in his power to have us close within 30 days. What a relief that was! From the check-ins with his team to the fantastic service we were provided with promises that turned into a reality, my husband and I were able to smoothly close on our house! Justus and his team were wonderful!

Cant believe how smooth the process was when other lenders had us jumping threw hoops. His confidence and knowledge in the lending process as a whole definitely is a notch above. Ive dealt with a few different folks in the past and Ill be returning to him in the future. All around very pleased.

As a first time home buyer with a small-town upbringing, I was grateful to have been referred to Justus, who walked me through the process every step of the way and gave me the individualized attention that I needed (small-town service in a big city). The poor experience I had with the mortgage lender at my personal banking institute made me very skeptical that I could find someone trustworthy in this industry, but Justus proved me wrong. He did a wonderful job at presenting me with all my lending options and explaining the financial pros and cons of each. He did not persuade me toward any one option and did not try to convince me to make any unsound financial decisions (like my bank did). Justus is great at what he does and will provide honest, trustworthy service.

This was not my first time getting a mortgage, so I have some previous experience to compare this to. I was amazed at how smoothly everything went. Justus was always there to answer any questions and to make sure it was done easily and efficiently. Even the title company gave praise to Justus and First Federal for how they set up the mortgage. Friends had recommended them to me, and I am happy to pass along the recommendation to others.

My wife and I couldnt be more pleased with our experience and working w/ Justus. We were looking to purchase a home and our situation was not easy. Justus however remained confident that he could get the job done and put us in our own home. His attitude throughout the process was reassuring. We had a few bumps but Justus worked through them. You could tell he really enjoys his work and helping people achieve a dream of owning a home. Justus went above and beyond what could have been asked of him, and for that my family is truly greatful. 5 stars simply arent enough.

My focus is to make sure my home buyers and home sellers have a smooth transaction. That is why I trust Justus because he helps me make this happen. I make sure each home buyer has the option to use Justus for their home loan because he will walk them step-by-step through the process while making sure to find the right mortgage loan for them depending on their personal situation. If I am the listing agent and see a buyer represented by Justus, I know the buyers are qualified and the loan will close on time. Period.

Just when you think its not possible, the staff at First Federal make it possible! Justus helped my husband and I refinance at a time when I thought we wouldnt be able to. His professionalism was above and beyond any other experience we had prior, and we felt comfortable with his suggestions of they type of loan we should do. I have sent several family members to go have a chat with him for the same reasons. I will most definitely return to Justus for any help or advice I need in the future. Thanks!!!
