Love the customer service and the selection of jewelry. We bought out wedding bands and she was able to fix his right then and there to fit perfectly. They buy and sell good quality stuff. They also had an amazing set that I loved, but didn’t get! They have layaway! October they have jewelry savings!!

If I could give this store a 0 star I would. I was very polite on the phone when I called to make sure my payment plan/lay away would still be alright if I paid it before the end of the month. I was met with a rude worker that asked if it was a pawn. I told him I was unsure because I've never did a payment plan before. I even told him i have a ticket with a number. After he tried for a pawn he rudely asked if I had the right location. He was being snarky and said "pawns dont have numbers." Then transferred me to a lady. She was very polite and understood what I was asking. I then told her about the horrible experience and asked who I could talk to about that. She then offered the owner which I accepted and spoke to him. He was very belligerent from the beginning of the conversation when all I wanted was to tell someone about the poor customer experience I had before the sweet lady. He dismissed everything I said and kept asking "how can I help you?!" I was speechless, ended the conversation and went immediately to purchase my ring for my husband out of layaway. The store owner was very dismissive and tried to act nicer that I was in the store. The men here are very hostile and rude. Would not recommend for someone wanting to buy something. I drove home crying because I felt treated like an animal.

I just went inside the pawn shop and the man at the front was very rude and disrespectful.

I tried to show him some watches I got from an abandoned storage room and he just flat out told me he wouldn’t look at them.

Wonderful place! I've done alot of jewelry shopping here and NEVER was disappointed. Jennifer is amazing, she helped me through my jewelry shopping and whatever I was looking for and if they didn't have she showed me books and we bounced ideas off each other and come out with beautiful jewelry. I was able to receive my jewelry within the next business day. It's a great place and they treat you like they have known you your whole life. Please drop in they have something for everyone. If I could ibwould rate a zero. Jipped me on a guitar said it was new but clearly it wasnt. Than jipped me on what I had in pawn. Said I didnt make a payment since July but I know I made one more recently. Computers can mess up or you can forget to enter it into your system. We are all human.

I have been a customer at this Buckeye Pawn for many years and have always been treated very well, regardless if I am buying or selling, mostly jewelry for me. I have taught my boys that before they buy a new pricey item at the retail store, to check the pawn shop first. Recently, my future husband and I purchased jewelry sets and found everything we needed and had the rings sized at their in house jewelry repair. Their jewelry selection exceeds expectations and the selection covers many different tastes. My youngest son likes to check out their cd selection, and recently picked up on a bunch of them for a really great price. My oldest son likes to check out the computers and tool selection. This is just a great stop for some really awesome finds.

Id honestly leave ZER0 stars if I could. Aside from all the similar 5star ratings left all at the same time 8 or 9 months ago, fake accounts and fake reviews the owners use to boost a very low overall rating, the majority of these reviews will tell you the same things...#1 Even over the money paid/charged is the short chubby bald guy and what a rude son of a who-are he is...and he is! Hes a little fat sawfty with limp wrists and an eager mouth so GRNDR fellas hit him up. #2 the con-men business practices. I always thought that being in the edge of the hood meant they likely dealt with any number of headaches from a rough clientele but now I believe it to be the opposite and these scammers taking advantage of being located in such a poor and depressed area where theyre very often someones last hope for a loan. And #3 their joke of a sales floor. I realize prices and values change but the bulk of merchandise at this store hasnt seen the light of day in YEARS and because so is likely mispriced....so you might feel compelled to make an offer IF YOU KNOW AN ITEMS VALUE, dont. Your offer will be denied as that sorry, short fugly, bald virgin cannot handle even the suggestion that hes wrong and over priced something. Id recommend staying far, far, far, far, far away from this location and I think its a real shame that they do take advantage of the neighborhood and the vulnerable. ZERO STARS

I went in there a month ago and the staff was rude me and my girlfriend at the time went in there to sale things to them I had a fossil watch and it worked told me it was fake even though I bought it from a fossil store. My girlfriend wanted to sale some jewelry and he didn t even take a look at it and pushed everything too us and told us too leave. I wouldn t recommend going here cause the customer service is terrible nobody should be treated rudely.

I stop by to get a clasp fixed.. I bought a necklace at a retail store same day clasp broke. Of course I didnt purchase warranty.. So looked up places that fixed clasp.. The workers there are very helpful. For jewelry needs ask for Jennifer and her husband, I asked for them when it comes to all my jewelry need. I love the pieces I have brought from them. They have a large range of gold, from diamonds to 10k and 14k. There not like other pawnshop s where they try to over price used jewelry, all their prices are reasonable and when you become a regular customer they even will cut deals or take some off from the full price. I love buckeye pawnshop!

I went in here a couple of days ago with a Fossil watch to sell. The lady I spoke with asked how much I wanted for it and I said $60. She asked her manager over to take a look and realized that the battery was not working. They said okay to the $60 but said the battery had to be replaced. A couple of days later I came back with the watch and a new battery in it. The lady I originally spoke with said $25 right and I said no $60 that is what had been discussed. The manager came out and proceeded to tell me that I must have misunderstood and they would never give me $60 for the watch. He tried to give me $30 to pawn after the battery just cost me $13.96. I explained to him that I would have never replaced the battery if that is all I was going to get. He talked over me, was very disrespectful and kept arguing that they never agreed to $60. When I proceeded to tell him that this was terrible customer service and I would be writing a review he said he would right a review on me?! For what being a customer trying to sell something to them? As he proceeded to talk over me again I told him that no matter what I said I understood that the outcome wasnt going to change and I thanked them for their time. I understand now why their review rating is so low. No one should be treated this way.

My fiance went to go get his toolbox from there. And no one would help him put it in his truck. They could of helped him bc if 2 guys would of went out there and all 3 of them put it in the truck no one would of got hurt. So I called the manager and told him about it and he was being very rude saying im not going to sit here and talk to you about this and hung up on me. We never used to have a problem with them till now other than they used to follow us around the store when we was there looking around. Not a way to treat anyone no matter there skin color. I will never be going back to the one on Harrisburg Pike unless Im getting what we have in there out.

Tried to sell a class ring from class 2014 Grove city high school and I m not sure if this is because they make them different nowadays so they look completely different from the class rings they were making in 75 or what. In other words you should probably get current because I went in & I was told it didn t look real. I spent over 500 dollars on this ring . Real diamonds, 10k white gold and instead of testing it he decided to turn me away. Maybe if this place didn t run their business on their ego s then you wouldn t have 2.4 stars . Never will I walk back into this place .

A little annoyed. I dropped a ring off to get resized. First I called and made sure they did the service the lady told me it would take 5 days. Cool, I go in the guy tells me it will take 9 days. Ok whatever cool. I dropped the ring off with him after he spends about 5 mins inspecting it. I call the day before to see if it s been done the lady says he s still working on it it ll be done tomorrow or end of business. Cool. 5 mins later she calls back and says he can t do it because the ring will buckle. This is fine if you can t you can t but you literally held on to my ring for 8 days to tell me this? Why didn t you tell me when you were inspecting it for 5 mins? Why didn t you call me to tell me you couldn t do it after a few days passed? Why would you waste my time? If I never called I wonder how long I would ve been waiting for something that never was going to happen.

They are the rudest people ever! Wouldnt even take the time to look up the correct info cause they just wanted to go home granted it was still supposed to be open for 10 more minutes! Offered me some bs price cause they didn t want to do their job. Karma s a mother! Hope they don t end up in a tight spot and expect something from someone. If there was an option for negative stars I would definitely give them that. Also followed my husband around while he was just looking. Felt like some racial profiling in there.

Then didnt have what I was looking for and so I decided to look at the rest of the store and the lady followed me around like I was going to try and steal something. Have been to this Buckeye Pawn on only 2 occasions, of which were enough for me to decide to NEVER deal with any of their stores or affiliates. My first visit I was met with a deplorable and poor excuse for a rifle and shotgun collection, that were strung with a cable bike lock against an ugly improvised wood shelf.These were also outrageously marked up given the guns value in at least a decent used condition. The handguns were a bit more professionally kept, but were also outrageously marked for their terrible condition. While looking at the firearm selection, my wife and 2 year old looked at the jewelry. We had to leave due to the terse and boorish tones we were met with my the staff. Far from a professional environment for a person to bring their hard earned dollar. My second visit was more recent. Being empathetic person I see myself as, I had assumed my first visit may have been just a bad day for the employees. I WAS WRONG. I had brought in a couple of watches to sell that I had inherited from my Grandfather, so that I may boost my saving for a house down payment. When my Grandfather had purchased the watches in the 70s, even I could not believe what he had paid for them. They were by NO MEANS cheap pieces. The heavyset and bald white gentleman had glanced them over, and held them for all of about 10 seconds before claiming that they were fake. I had asked the reason behind how he could tell such a thing, without testing/examining the gold or disassembling them to view their serial numbers. His response was They aint heavy enough in my mind. The man didnt even have the decency to use the digital scale 3 feet from him. Of course I had left very offended, and had posted the watches online a short time later. LOW AND BEHOLD, THEY SOLD TO A WATCH BROKER OF WHOM HAS RECOGNIZED THEIR AUTHENTICITY. I can understand if your company could not afford the items, but please do not tell someone an item is fake without doing a more thorough check than they dont FEEL heavy enough.

First time there. Took two items to see if they would buy them. Fat guy there was sooooo rude. Told me the item I brought in was only good for a wall hanging and closed the case with a bang. Then looked at rings and said they were worthless and tossed them back in the box. He had an attitude that he was better then me. All he had to say, politely, was that the items were not pawnable. Instead he had to make me look stupid and insult me in front of other customers. Will NOT recommend them to anyone.

Bought a air compressor he told me they all Ready checked them already before they are sold I took it to work with me days later and I noticed the regulated pressure didnt work so I took it back and he told me when they leave the store cant bring them back dont understand it it was broken when I got it

I brung my ring in here to get it fixed, it was bent and a piece that said #1 mom had broke off. At first i just wanted the #1 mom fixed and i asked him about fixing the bent part he said dont worry itll look brand new and it does. Thank you guys and girls

One of the worst pawnshops around. Very rude employees who rush you over everything. I called to ask questions about pawning something and they gave very little detail of requirements, and rush you off the phone but when I got in there they had a whole bunch of other requirements they knitpicked and bullshitted about. I would literally recommend any other pawnshop over this one.

Laid some items and a Xbox to sell on the table and brought my 50 inch flat screen and they only would give me $80 for everything but they also said we dont except certain items on the table so I agreed with the terms all of a sudden I was putting 1 of the items back(turtle beach headphones) they got mad and told me to get out of the store then Im like what the h*** ? their like oh your cussing now!? Those bastards wouldnt even open the door for me to carry my tv out I had to kick the door open :( dont come here they will take everything you put on the table for less then the next pawn shop I went to afterwards ;)

It was alright. But they dispite saying they take electronics, would not take anything older than maybe a year. So trying to sell a projector or TV media box or even a computer scanner was apparently out of the question.

I was traveling from Montana to PA for a family get together. Stopped in here looking for inventory for my computer store in Montana. Was impressed by the selection and prices. I mentioned the deals needed to be good, since Montana does not have sales tax. He made a deal that made me feel like I had picked Door #3 and the big deal of the day. All units are in working order. I would have no problem buying from here again when I return. Great selection and great prices. Friendly staff as well.

Very rude employees, asked how they were and they rolled their eyes with me, very disrespectful in everyway. In addition, the way they spoke to me was cruel. Never come here, rude and arrogant people. Cheap people. In addition whoever mentioned they are hillbillies on a power trip are correct. If I had the ability to shut this store down I would, never coming back and hope you guys go bankrupt.

Ive never had a problem in buckeye pawn and they are very friendly . I love the staff at buckeye pawn on Harrisburg pike.

The action on all of there bass guitars are so low the strings flap, most need new electronics and I was harassed around the store my whole stay. Was gonna buy a bass but after my experience here I wont be coming back. If you want a guitar you have to fix and pay full price for, come here.

Went in to sell some valuable tools, was stared at, condescended to and talked to very rudely by the owner who wouldnt negotiate or even make any offer on the items until I was walking out, by which time I was told he wasnt interested just out of spite. Terrible way to treat customers.

I have used Buckeye Pawn a few times in the past to pawn music equipment when I was in a financial bind. The young man with the red hair in the music section has always been very cool when I come in. While I admit the prices are sometimes a little low for pawning goods, at the end of the day this place is a business and they make their decisions based on a business perspective. It amazes me at how many bad reviews are written for this shop because at the end of the day it is still a pawn shop. They are in the industry to make money and help a few people out while doing so. If one fails to see this perspective than I am sorry because it is simple business practice. I wish them the best and hopefully I wont need to come in anymore to pawn music equipment, however, the tool selection is rather large here and I will be planning on coming in soon to buy a few saws and a welder. Best of luck to all of the employees at Buckeye Pawn and you all do a great job!

I pawn my Jewelry and one of my flat screens here once every six months or so when I need extra cash to pay rent when my pay check falls on a day after rent is due. This is the best Pawn Shop I have ever been to. The Staff are very Friendly and take the time to explain things to you if your not sure. They are very honest and fair with their prices and they take excellent care of the items you pawn. Ive been pawing here for 2 years now and since day 1 I have been very pleased! All the bad reviews about this shop have to be coming from people expecting something from nothing. You have to remember when pawning anything your not going to get full retail value for your items other wise pawn shops might as well just give you the cash and lose their business! You have to realize also that THEY are doing you the FAVOR not the other way around!

DO NOT take your jewelry here. I was quoted exactly 1/2 the price of what my gold jewelry was actually worth, according to another more established gold buyer. Lesson learned, take your gold elsewhere to be sold.

This place is awful... They treat you like a drug addict, and when I asked for 30% of what my item sells for on ebay they acted like I insulted them and walked off.

All Buckeye pawn shops are a scam! They have crap jewelry and ask insane prices for it!! I needed gas money for the week so took a brand new $100 jigsaw and a dewalt circular saw in which Levs would loan me $50-70 for it if I could get there but needed gas so only could make it to buckeye and they said $30 to loan for both or $50 to sell!! I had more than that just in the blades for each!!!! I mean a $30-50 loan on almost $400 worth of tools!! Its insulating to go to a place that their business is to help when you just need a little bit of money to make it till payday and they treat you like some kind of drug addict, its ridiculous!!!!! If you wany insulted and robbed then Buckeye is the place to go!!! For real help or to buy nice stuff at a fair price go to LEVS everything is priced and negotiable!!!

The staff is very friendly and they do have a very nice selection of jewelry, HOWEVER they rip you off majorly. I went in looking for a wedding set with a certain budget. They dont seem to have the rings priced and seem to just make them up as they go. Instead of telling you how much the rings are they first ask your budget then pick out rings for you that they can work a deal with you. They gave me 2 rings to choose from that were in the under $350 budget I had. The ring I picked, the lady said well this one is actually $450 but we are having a 20% off sale on jewelry so well just tweak the price to make it $350 plus tax. Of course me not knowing anything about jewelry thought she was being really nice and giving me a deal. NOT!!! About a month later I was at Walmart and just happened to notice my exact rings in the display case. Then I notice the price. $198 WHAT!?!? My exact rings brand new were almost half what we paid USED at this pawn shop! I couldve bought brand new rings with a warranty for much less than the exact used rings. I went to a pawn shop because my husband and I didnt have much money to spend, thinking buying a used ring would be cheaper and save us some money. I was very wrong. That was my first and only purchase from them.

I have been to this location several times. You will not find a Pawn Shop anywhere in Central Ohio with their selection of Jewelry, Musical Instruments and tools. It is fantastic!

I put my MacBook Pro in for pawn a few months ago. It was in perfect working order, no issues with power. I got it back out yesterday and now my computer wont hold a charge. The system says the battery is working normally, but for some reason it wont take a charge. Since this happened the first time I turned it on, and is still not charging after a full night shut off and plugged in, I called the pawn shop. No problems before pawning + problems after getting it back = the pawn shop should be willing to fix it. They deny any responsibility. They just said its their policy to leave them in the store room. I asked if it magically happened on its own and they said yes. No help whatsoever. I will never pawn anything at Buckeye Pawn Shop again!

I am not a mad customer or anything, Just wanted to warn people about the bad business that goes on here. These people set around and wait for someone to come in so they can display their power trip egos. I have tried shopping there twice now and Im never going back, I watched them being rude to other customers as well, they like to pretend their on one of those tv shows are something. The main guy who works their is a BABY D*CK LOSER WHO DRIVES A HUMMER LOL, TRUST ME HE KNOWS IT.
