The sales team is awesome. We got my ring here 10 years ago. Got it resized 4 years ago and had a disappointing experience. The jeweler left notches in the ring after resizing it. The notches kept catching my hair or clothes so I took it back in. The jeweler kept saying it wasn’t there but everyone else could feel the notches. He ended up grinding it down until smooth but now it is distorted. I haven’t been able to wear my ring since then due to health and work. Recently pulled it out and was reminded of it. It’s sad that he treated something so special with lack of attention to detail.

Forgot to add, we picked out the diamond before my husband proposed. When he gave me the engagement ring I thought looked a little different/cloudy. Months later we got a call from them saying they found our diamond, it had been mislabeled. We were grateful someone did their due diligence though. They gave us a $50 gift certificate which we thought was funny given it wouldn’t cover anything in the store. Anyway, kudos for fixing that mistake but too many mishaps to trust them again.

First time in here and greeted right away by friendly faces. Had Jack assist me with my sale and couldnt have asked for a better sales associate. Would recommend here. They also offered more for my wedding set than all the other shops I went to. You will get your moneys worth. I will be back.

I wish I could leave negative stars. Better yet I wish it was an actual crime to be dishonest. Imagine walking in, unsure of what your engagement and wedding ring was worth. Having to deal with the unfortunate truth that these rings no longer hold the sentimental reason you once had for them and what they meant. (Divorce) So we looked around the area and felt like Howards would be a safe place to seek professional insight on the value of these Takori rings. We were appraised around $600 dollars and told that the diamonds were the lowest quality of diamonds. It was felt with disappointment. But appreciated what we thought was truth and the transparency. We left and thought we might want to have them looked at elsewhere. And boy are we glad we did. How does a jeweler go from the value of $600 to another appraisal of $15k ? And we were told I dont know who you went to, but these diamonds are in fact class B diamonds not the foggy yellow (lowest tier) diamonds we were told at Howards. The gentleman with the glasses amd hand tattoos is all I can remember and frankly dont care to know his name. But he stated that these rings werent worth much. Completely dishonest, why not be truthful? Whats theres to loose to just be fair and honest? Yes we recognize you cant purchase them for what theyre worth. But to be honest, it doesnt cost you, the business anything. Its free. And maybe thats the catch. A free appraisal gets you free loose professional advice. Shame on you Howards. That gentleman should be ashamed of getting over on us. I remember distinctly how he mentioned. We can cash you out right now. Of course you would. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

Kevin Cleveland is the man. After my father s passing he helped me pick out a new chain to replace the one I was given when I was 13. It had a lot of sentimental value and he worked with me to get the best value and did not try to unnecessarily upsell me. They have jewelry you wont see anywhere else. I have been shopping with them for years and always get compliments on the items I purchase. The customer service is the best. I used to shop at a chain store as well, but was treated like trash if I didnt spend thousands each time I stopped in. So I stopped going. Now Howards has by business. Im not going anywhere else.

Well I called in advance to confirm I could get a loan on grade a1 silver jewelry. James Avery. She explained that it must contain no less than a certain percentage silver to meet their standards. I asked her did she not ever hear of James Avery? Some may not but at a jewelry store? Anyways I had called ahead because I was driving from far away but only place I could find open Sunday. Got there after 45 minutes of driving and the guy was like I m sorry we don t do loans on silver. Ugh

I had a great experience in the store picking out the engagement ring with Anthony (who is wonderful and will be sadly missed) however we talked extensively about the ring size and decided to even go up a half a size to ensure I would have no issues, and come to find out they literally did not resize it at all. I am extremely Disappointed in them and how they could mess with a very special moment. As I can not wear my new beautiful ring. We paid a lot of money for all of this and they couldn t even resize it. Plus we waited three weeks to even get the ring. They only reason I am giving three stars is because of how beautiful the ring is.

OMG, where do I start? I wish I could give a million stars for my experience. Jack and Alex were SOOOOO AMAZING and patient!!!!! I was on the hunt for a new wedding ring set and my mind was all over the place. I wanted something beautiful without breaking the bank. Not only did he patiently show me the selections, Jack also took the time to explain to me the difference between lab-grown and mined diamonds, which was instrumental in my finalizing a decision. My husband bought me a ring here for our 10 anniversary and it was 3 sizes to big I worked with Alex and he was so nice and pleasant. It took 3 months to get my ring back and Alex did everything he could to keep me updated but when I finally got my ring back it was so terrible and messed up and without questions asked Alex allowed me to do an even trade and get a brand new ring. Yes, the situation was awful but it was so hard to be upset working with such an amazing sales person. Alex was by far wonderful and I appreciate your customer service!

We came to this store all nice and the lady at the sell/borrow counter was completely rude and cocky for no reason telling me my stuff was fake didnt even look at it long enough I have video of it everything being diamond tested there real and I went to 2 or 3 jewlers before who said my ring with blue and black diamonds ring was real and worth at least 1k if new I said I wore it at least like 10 times she looked at it for like 2 seconds pushed it away and said there fake never coming back to this place again absolutely trashy worker and she was a manager like cmon do a better job

***TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE in person and online!!! Employees are rude and disrespectful to customers. After leaving my wedding ring with them for a month I called to see where it was and they had no clue where my ring was. Reaching out to them by email is pointless as they do not respond to problems or concerns. I recommend finding a company who values its costumers as Howards does not!!!

My fiancé proposed with a beautiful ring and I had to get it resized. The resizing was done very quickly, but upon picking it up I noticed that three stones were missing from the halo. I took it back and the staff were so flippant and nonchalant about my brand new engagement ring missing stones. This could have been avoided if they checked it before returning it to me the first time. It s been a week and I still have not gotten it back. I tried to call them and they were rude on the phone and did not give me any information regarding the timeline of my ring being finished.

I had my wedding rings from 1966 reset in 2008--and have loved the Howard touch all these past years. Recently found out the ring is missing some small stones and needs alot of work. I spoke with Jack on the phone, came in and was so pleased with his kindness, care, and proficiency. They agreed to honor their original warranty, will restore my ring-- and are also able to repair another ring that has great sentimental value to me. This great care is the reason Howards is celebrating decades of service!

In May I went to Howard s Parma to look at potentially selling my Rolex. I purchased the authentic Rolex from Jared s jewelers but at the time it was malfunctioning and I didn t know. The first guy I felt with was extremely professional, THEN A man came out to inspect my watch and basically called it trash and said there is nothing I can do with that get it out of here. I paid $14k for this watch, so I was also concerned, but that s not the issue the part that made me upset is I also purchased a $2,000 watch from Howard s Parma, a $1,000 pair of earrings from same location and a $11,000 ring from Mentor location the way he handled the transaction was so rude and I ve never felt so humiliated. You will never get another dime from me.

Went over in detail about every piece being sold, what it was, and recommended ways respectfully how I could sell what they could not take. I always would pawn my gold when I was in need, and the managers would all call when it was about to expire. Well, since the new male flamboyant guy came in as the manager, he had instant attitude, gave me a lil more than I asked for, when when I called to ask about my stuff, was told I d get a call back, never did, so I called again a few days later. Then make manager asked who I was, then said well we can t give out any information on the phone! Then WHY ASK WHO I WAS??? They basically SCAMMED ME! Took my jewelry and never even called to let me know anything! DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! That manager need to go back to training! NEVER STEP IN THERE AGAIN WILL I EVER!l Not sure how to respond Sir, but I would like to pay the loan, and the fees and get my 2 pieces of jewelry back Thursday or the is coming weekend. I have purchased several pieces from this location and love the quality and service. Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience this time around. Sales guy was exceptional, he spent a lot of time with me as always and we picked out a box. Right when I go to pay at the counter, she takes away the box from the salesman that I was working with and changes the packaging in front of me as if what I picked did not qualify for the packaging we both picked. Left the salesman puzzled as it was completely unprofessional do to in front of a continuous customer like myself. It was a very odd and off putting experience once she got involved.

Not once did i feel like he was trying to upsell me just for the point of a more expensive sale, i genuinely felt he cared, and was trying to help me find exactly what i was looking for. They kinda reminded me of myself as I m in sales aswell. Their pricing is spectacular. Didn t even need to negotiate as pricing was fair. You guys are the best. Alex did a great job explaining and selling a diamond pendent. I am a tough customer, so Anthony assisted. They both did a professional job, and made the sale, and made my wife very happy. I ve been with Howard s jewelers for years. Recently I visited the Parma location and noticed that it appears to be all new employees. Today I went in to have my ring, cleaned and was very disappointed with the snarky, condescending attitude that I received. This is the second bad experience I ve had with them in two weeks. I really hope the new regime understands that the way you treat your customers directly impacts the bottom line. Best of luck with your new store.

Unique story: I found a sparkly earring stuck in my shoe one day. I took it to Howards to find out if it was a real diamond.... it was! Lydia helped me find a great setting for the stone to turn it into a pendent necklace (the earring was really bent up and had no match, obviously, so this was the route I wanted to go.) It turned out so beautiful! Great, great experience at Howards. I will definitely return and I highly recommend talking to Lydia if you go there, shes great!

I walked in knowing what I wanted and they had exactly what I was looking for! Anthony greeted me and was really nice! I was looking for a 20 inch gold chain and he showed me several options. He also bought some jewelry pieces that I brought in and wasn t even using and gave me a good amount for it to go towards my new purchase. I discovered my wedding band had some major issues, that were going to cost half of what we paid originally. Nicole was very happy to assist with either a repair or an upgrade with the full trade in value of my ring. In the end I decided on the upgrade and Nicole listened to me describe my type of ring and produced what I described!

I went in on a mission and the store manager, Anthony and Isaac are great. Exceeded my expectations and customer service. I highly recommended this location you will leave satisfied. I take back my five stars 10/14 330pm I came in today and waited to be seen for ten mins while everyone was finishing lunch or doing other tasks. I let that go. I was given a outrageous loan. When I was at the one on the north field that gave me four times the amount offered. When I tried to explain the lady was rude and cut me off. Tried to tell me a 1000 dollar ring I bought was only worth 75 for a loan. Unacceptable. The customer relations manager told me they gave me too much. So now I have to go across town to get a loan when it is inconvenient and out of my way. I had to ask three times for a corporate number over their heads for them to give it to me. Howard s will never be getting my business again. The lady with red hair and glasses needs a attitude adjustment.
