Not what I expected, but a really great place to buy (and presumably sell) US 90% Silver. I like to visit coin shops when I travel for work, and I like to spend some time to look through collector coins. Ridge Coin and Gold is not a collector’s store, but they are a buttoned-down, knowledgeable seller/buyer of constitutional silver. The reviews that were posted about their friendliness are all true. A 4.9 Star coin shop is unheard of. (Usually sellers are upset by the price offered because they think their coins are worth more than they really are.). Ridge has earned their 4.9 stars.

They truly have one of the best customer service I have ever had. They made a slightly misleading post and gave me the item worth several hundred for doing so. As a customer the people at Ridge really care about their feedback and thats why they are one of the best at what they do. Knowing most of the popular coin people on whatnot where they stream they really need to step up their game . As most are cheap on whatnot coins and will complain a lot and insult their stream and sell cheap copper rounds or silver at insanely high prices or do big whatnot gambling streams a lot to screw over people with gambling habbits and make up for costs . Overall their honor system and moral pricipals are top of the line . Many coins companies I know wont honor this much as I have won gold for way under melt fairly and they didnt send. Thankfully those companies arent around much no more cause maybe people saw who they really are. However Ridge Coins and Jewlery keeps on dominating with the buisness ethics I have ever seen in my life.

While this shop does offer to buy old coins, I found that their offer was significantly lower compared to other establishments. Initially, they offered me $150, but upon visiting other shops, I was pleasantly surprised to receive an offer of $36,000 for the same coins. Therefore, if you possess valuable old coins, I would recommend exploring other options to ensure you receive the best value for your items.

Very efficient, excellent prices for selling. I didnt feel like I was in a shady or sleezy place at all, and the guy that did the appraisal was very friendly and personable. I love this place! Its the only pawn shop who doesnt keep your items for themselves the day of forfeiture. They actually give you time to come pick your items up even when its past due no other pawn shop has ever done that! I will always be a loyal customer because I appreciate their compassion!

I had the pleasure of working with Ridge Coin in both locations in the past week. First went to Henrietta with a mens gold and diamond ring and was told to see Dimitri in Irondequoit so I could get a fair price since hes the one who deals with diamonds. I was happy that John sent me there instead of just guessing on the value. Today I brought in some scrap to John and was pleasantly surprised at the value of my junk. Everyone is just so nice and courteous; I truly think theyre the best in town!

A friend had recommended Ridge Coin & Gold Exchange to get a fair price for selling some jewelry that I no longer was wearing. My sister looked up the address as I was driving and, according to the results we got online c the Henrietta location was permanently closed. As we drove down Jefferson Rd. , I saw the location and it was clearly open for business. We went in and were impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable service we received. Do not go expecting to see coins in display cases like one of the google images. I am getting back into the coin collecting hobby and went in expecting to see displays, instead the place was like a bank, with tellers behind glass. After a bit of looking bewildered when I walked in, one of the tellers finally asked if I needed help. Upon explaining my expectation, I was advised to go to eBay. Not exactly what I wanted to hear or what I was expecting. Looks like a place to sell your gold or obtain silver bullion/coins that you already know you want. No browsing. I hope this helps someone from wasting their time.

Great experience selling my diamonds here! The whole process from start to finish was easy and painless even though the stones had to be couriered to them from Canada. Demitri is so friendly, professional and very fair. He provided with me with all the paperwork I needed for customs clearance and was available via his cell even on the weekend to help ensure the shipping process was as simple as it could be. He helped make everything so smooth and fast. I think it was about a day or so from the time I decided to send them in to receiving payment in my bank account. They are awesome! The guys at Ridge Coin are unbelievable! Their kindness & compassion saved my family from loosing our gas & electric this winter. Due to this past month being a slow month for my cleaning business (The Cleanest Sweep) my income dropped tremendously. The first thing that came to mind was Ridge Coin. I had an antique that I didnt have room for and also was unable to move myself due to the weight being over 500 lbs plus.. The guys at Ridge Coin came to pick it up for me! Not only did Demitri spend 5 days working hard to find a buyer but he sent his brother, Toso to my home to move the antique for me. These guys are life savers! I cant thank them enough!!!! You cant lose taking your gold and jewellery to these pros! Its the only place I go if I need some cash for my gold. All these guys are honest and treat you with respect. Let me start off by saying this.. I never leave reviews. But I feel as if Im obligated because this place is so awesome. I feel like batman cus Im bout to save you innocents. I went to a mom and pop shop in Fairport to sell a gold ring, they offered me $45 for It and told me it was almost not worth it to sell it. I said okay, Ill be back if I dont get a better price. Went to Ridge, they gave me $100. GO HERE IF YOURE INTERESTED IN SELLING PRECIOUS METALS. You wont regret it. I was legitimately offended that I was going to get robbed $55. I took my money and thanked the kind man at the counter and then thanked my instinct for not getting jipped.

Truly a class act,all the way around. This is not like the pawn shops that you Always see on tv. They are super professional,super polite,and you never get the feeling like you are being judged ( we all have financial problems from time to time) i.e.: think professional And friendly.......

Wanted to sell my watch to purchase a new one and I couldnt find a buyer that wasnt trying to steal it. A friend told me to go to Ridge coin & Gold exchange.. I was thinking to myself they will probably offer my even less.. Boy was I wrong. They gave me the exact amount of money I was looking to sell the watch for. At first I was very hesitant to bring anything to a Pawn Shop. I walked in the door and was overwhelmed by the Protection Glass and Safety features. A man came to the window and asked if he could help me. I explained that I needed help bringing items in and what my time line was. John was very polite, helpful and after sitting with him I felt at ease. I must admit I am more than impressed with this business, its employees and the care, concern and attentiveness that they have given me. By far the best place in Rochester to sell your gold. I recently came across a box with a bunch of old gold rings and bracelets. I was closer to a jewelry store that advertises to buy gold at the time so I stopped in and was treated poorly so I left. I went to Ridge coin and was treated great as always and was offered $110 more for my gold then at the jewelry store. Dont waste your time going anywhere else these guys are fair and honest.
