I have been their customer for more than 5 years, it is always an awesome place to go when you need to borrow some cash to cover school expenses, etc etc, their staff is very professional and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable.

They have always been super fair with their metal prices, and every time I pick up my pieces they are exactly as I left them (which is always my biggest concern when leaving them on loan).

I do not know what else to say, but if I could add something, is that they are very friendly and somehow always looking for their customer satisfaction, it has been a great experience making business with them .

Do not do business with this company. They are unethical and unprofessional. I pawned by Chanel bag, paid all the interest fees and when it was time to pick up my item it could not be found. Roni assured me that if my bag could not be found he would buy me a new bag. Its been one year and I am still getting the run around. I called the office numerous amounts of times and the receptionist can never give me an answer. This is not unfair, I paid all the interest and owed them nothing. Then I found this article on the internet: The business is suspected of letting crooks fence goods, law-enforcement sources said. Owner Roni Rubinov declined to comment Sunday. The AGs Office did not respond to a request for comment, while the NYPD said the investigation is ongoing. That has nothing to do with me, I need to be compensated for my item. If I could give them NO stars I would! This company claims to be apart of the National Pawn association but lack the the positive and professional image of the pawnbroking industry.

Had a few pieces of jewelry given to me by an ex boyfriend so naturally I went down to the diamond district to get rid of it. Walked into a few places & felt all were trying to fool me -- that is until I walked into NEW LIBERTY LOANS PAWN SHOP! Roni (dealt directly with the owner which in my opinion is a rarity in any business) and his employees were professional, knowledgeable, & so friendly. No arrogance whatsoever like the other shops & a totally assumption free place. Best part of this whole experience was the pay out. Much more than what the others offered! I was referred to New Liberty by a close friend that lives in Midtown New York. I told her that i needed $8,000 to resolve a problem short term and didnt know who to Trust. I recently had occasion to clean out a few drawers and found some old jewelry. I found Romanov Buyers & Liberty Loans to be incredibly patient and professional. What I liked best was how Roni (the owner) took his time to explain (and show me) how he assessed the value of the pieces I was interested in selling. Among the various pieces I had sold him a custom ring. Roni went the extra mile for me: when I had gotten home about 20 minutes later, my wife had decided that the ring had sentimental value; with one phone call, Roni converted the sale into a loan (at good rates for the appraisal, the amount loaned and the terms). He also serves a nice cup of esspresso!

I was unsure of going to a pawn shop but I really needed the cash. I read the reviews here on yelp before going to New Liberty Loans. Roni and Ryan really live up to their reputation. They both genuinely care. They take their time with you and explain everything. They will get you the most they can with low interest. They make you comfortable and dont pressure you. You have to be assertive and go right up. There are guys outside from next door, they want you to go to their store. Ignore them. Roni and Chris were extremely helpful. I came in last minute, i had to take a trip to Florida and was in a huge bind, and they got me in and out for exactly what i needed. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs their services.

The first and only place I needed to go to! I did some research on what s the best place to borrow money from and every review is right. It was a very smooth and quick process. There was especially no bs. They answered all my questions, explained the loan process in detail and I left feeling confident in them. They gave me what I needed from loaning an iPhone. When I had some transactions to make five years ago, I went to almost every business on 47th street- if not every business on the street. I decided to transact with Roni because he seemed like a straight forward guy and very fair in his dealings. Five years later, we continue to do business because I get the best rates on borrowing from Roni. Nobody on the street beats his prices. Over the course of the years, I have come to respect him, and know I can trust him on his word when we have a transaction. I recommend him without reservation.

I wished I had more pieces just so that I could come back!! I called in advance to get a sense of the service that id be provided with and I felt at ease enough to follow through and it was even better upon entering. The staff was reassuring and gave me more information about the process and pointers on how to buy authentic pieces in the future. Also prices that were quoted were genuine and sensible. I really don t write reviews but seeing as how anxious I was about the process I feel that a review was the least I could for such great customer service. This is how it should be done!

Great service. I reset my engagement ring in a new setting and the owner and staff worked with me in picking out the right one for my 25th wedding anniversary. They also repair and fix many of my other jewelry. Get pricing and Excellence customer service. I highly recommend this company.

As a restaurant owner I was behind on my rent. I was referred to New Liberty by a client. He told me that Roni was the best person to see if I needed a loan immediately. I told him that I didnt have good credit, he said that it wouldnt be a problem so I decided to go to New York and see for myself. I stopped in two pawn shops before I went to New Liberty. I am leaving this review to save you guys from wasting your time. Roni lent me against my watch almost twice as much and charged me half the interest I was offered in the other places. As a new client Roni even waived my first month interest, it has now been a year and I have been back a few times. he is truly a gentleman. Thank you New Liberty
