Jessica was just fantastic!!! I was having problems paying my rent online using my card and I’ve tried to call member services, card services, I mean even the manager couldn’t help me. I decided to go to the branch in 124th street and Jessica was very kind to get on the phone with card services and they were able to remove a block apparently my card was. Mind you, the person I spoke to over the phone couldn’t even see that. If it weren’t for Jessica, I would have been late on my rent so thank you Jessica for providing such stalker customer service! We appreciate you!!!

This is the worst banking system in business. I filed a dispute. They did a poor investigation and substantiated the charge and failed to provide me the proof. They wrote in their own letter I can request copies of the proof which they have not provided. A rep named Kiana called me and told me to go into the Branch and I did. The branch said they have no power over disputes. I played the voice mail on my phone from Kiana. He e mailed the disputes department and the have not reached out to me or given him the proof. MCU is a terrible financial institution. I am starting legal action against MCU.

My name is Dorothy Benson and I ve been a MCU member since 1992. I ve never had any problems till Oct 2023. My rent check for Oct was stolen and after much investigation the branch mg told me it was going to take 3month before I would get my rent money back. This happened in Oct so it will be 6months. Recently I noticed my vacation club and holiday club numbers were not going up. i went back to MCU to find out where the money was. There I met Ms. Shameka Bryant she was a Godsend. She a a to what I had to say and told me not to worry. She spoke with the branch mg(I don t know his name) seems as if MCU stopped transferring back in Nov 2023. I had no idea I never got anything in writing telling me this Shameka was more than helpful to me, she set up my vacation and holiday deposits for me. She made an ole lady feel really good. You need more Miss Bryant s people like her make you smile. Your branch mg should take some lessons in compassion and caring.

Their card machine is always broken. Every time I go there the card machine is broken. The last time I went there I needed a card, it wasn t working. They took my name to call me when it was working again. They called me the same day and told me that it was working. I went back the next day and it was already broken again.

Worst branch and bank in general ever Ive been calling for a week to get a debit card the system is always down, then I proceeded to make an in person appointment went there and same story system down, mind you before making the appointment they ask you why do you need to be seen for, appointment was made 10/23/23 for 10/24/23 and supposedly system is down since 10/21/23 and employees always are in a bad mood to top it off

I went to close my accounts and had a great and pleasant experience with Jessica. Not only was she super helpful but she was very pleasant and worked quickly. There was another young lady there with the same pleasant spirit and great customer service. As well as the female security guard. Unfortunately, MCU doesn t give you much bang for your buck when it comes to your money market accounts so I had to go else where. However, in the last 6 years of banking with MCU this was my best experience. Nice and clean branch as well.

Im updating my rating to two stars. The rep who helped me at the branch had essentially ghosted me. I emailed twice asking questions and theres no response. First time at MCU. I had a really good experience here. I made an appointment so was able to skip the line. There was a large line of walk-ins waiting to be seen when I came in so its better to make an appointment through their website. The staff were really nice, polite, efficient and helpful. Considering how busy it was at this branch when I went in, I was impressed by the composure of the staff. They didnt seem flustered or irritated. They treated me kindly. The ventilation in the space wasnt the best tough. It was hot and stuffy. Its a small space and there is no seating for people waiting in line. So keep that in mind when going in.

Clinton was so amazing he should be a branch Manager. We need more super patient people servicing this community. #Afrolatinocommunity Im sorry to say I had to come back on here because when I was leaving the current Branch Manager came out of his cubicle to reprimand some employees right on the banking floor. I felt it was in an unprofessional manner. There is a time and a place for everything. He should address thoses issues in conferences or meetings. Not on the banking floor. They are not children! They all should be professionals. He aint nobodys Daddy!

It is the worst bank I have ever had, I will never deposit a penny again, they never solve anything for me, I had two loans with them and I paid them everything even when I got COVID 19, they did not help me at all, even paying the life insurance that they put as part of the loan, and I paid them all off. Turns out my credit score They put as negative potential to damage my credit. I dont owe them anything, I paid them and above all they want to damage my credit.

I recently went into the Harlem branch after waiting on hold on the phone for 67 mins to watch my call get pushed back further and further. The service was a good experience not a long wait at all. The gentleman that was assisting me said I would hear something by days end or the next day and give me a call its 3 days later and nothing and my drive to the closest branch is 45 min and mind you Ive been a customer for 19yrs....smh pathetic.

I went to MCU at the Harlem branch; though, it was a busy day at the branch after the wait I was assisted by Jessica Caraballo. Jessica was so nice and genuine. I need help applying for a loan, she guided me through all the steps and was very thoroughly in terms of making sure I understand everything and what my best options were.

I have been banking with MCU for many years. The customer service is usually trash. Literally, at every location that Ive ever been to. Which is why my experience at the MCU Harlem (Saint Nicholas) stood out to me. First, I have to begin with the manager. He is a breath of fresh air from the moment you walk in the door. The way he greets and treats the guest was extraordinary. He is actually happy to help and do his job. He definitely leads by example because the staff engaged with customers with customers the same exact way. Warm, friendly, inviting...This will be my new banking location. Amazing service!

I must admit, I was a bit frustrated in the beginning, upon arrival to this particular branch. However, all of that went away when Customer Service rep Jessica Caraballos professionalism came into play. She was very professional, attentive to my needs, friendly, and even apologetic for any negative concerns I addressed at that moment.
