There are not enough wonderful words to describe the brilliant Ms. Laureen at Capital One, Howard Beach. I moved from Manhattan, where I was never happy with the service at Capital One. But Laureen would be exemplary at ANY bank. TD, Chase, anyone of them would be lucky to have someone so detail oriented, courteous, friendly, respectful, hard-working, beautiful, with a perfect combination of good humor and professionalism. I don't know why she is not a branch manager or in some other higher-up supervisory position. Judging by the quality of service I was shown on my visits, top-level customer service seems to be the norm for this employee, in which case I believe Laureen certainly deserves a raise and promotion.

My experience today at this capital one branch was so unfortunate. This is how we lose respect for the companies that are here to services us. I went in to get a simple service done to my account. And, I was told that the bank can not help with this service because it has gone digital. So, for this service, I will now need to fill out a form and get it notarized and if I want the bank to notarized it I would have to call the bank in advance to make sure the person who does notaries is in. After many questions, my response to that was that I think it's time to change banks. The person supplying me with this information personality changes implying that I am being rudeπ€. I had many questions about the bank going digital and not once being informed about this change in the many years I have been banking with them. I don't know when asking questions became an insultπ. But I do know that staying quiet about these matters makes me ignorant.

This location seems to be very racist. Every time I go there, they give me a hard time to withdraw my funds. Any other branch I go to, there is no issue. Joan was the teller today that I dealt with, very racist and deserves to be fired. Iβm calling corporate to Complain about this branch, I will also be filing a lawsuit. This is 2024, leave the racist ways in the past. What a shame

Worst bank Iβve ever experienced. Do not do business with them especially if it is a business account. Incompetence is an understatement. I strongly recommend Dime Community Bank. The difference is between night and day.

Terrible service, atm machines are slow and occasionally get stuck when making deposits, wait times are horrible for a teller, go to another branch!

As an adult I find it annoying listening to garbage music while waiting 1/2 an hour to see the teller. Be professional for heaven's sake.

Shalin was a very helpful and nice person to have handle us opening a Business Account. Explained everything clearly, was patient and had a good demeanor the whole time.

EJ is the example of customer service. I had a misunderstanding which made the transaction longer than it should . But he never once got upset instead he told me how to prevent it and solved the issue . 5*

I recently open a Capital one account after being with Bank of America for over 15 year!!! Upon walking into the bank with my parents, I was Introduced to EJ. EJ is very smart, charming and funny young man. He was able to not only help me but my parents as well in multiple transaction. He made the experience warming and funny. we was able to get a lot done in such a short amount of time. thank you EJ, my parents will be back to see you and my brother

Inadequate Apple Wallet services. Was unable to open the door or even use the drive thru with my Apple Wallet even though there is a reader there. Will be reconsidering banks at this time.

ATMs always clean. Rarely out of service. Parking lot is tiny, detracted star. Cashier service is understaffed when theres very long lines of customers, detracted star.

Slowest lines and understaffed during lunch. Should know by now that people in the neighborhood go to the bank during lunch. On top of that, today there were 10 people on line one of the tellers, the young man with very short hair, left the booth for break, knowing full well that theres a huge line. Worst service.

Worse bank ever, customer service people dont have proper training nor does their legal department. They lost my fathers account!. They placed it under a different name. They gave me a very hard time when I went to close out my account. Be very careful with this bank.

I want to say capital one is the worst ever to deal with Ive had a credit card with this bank for a couple years and because of my name being what it is I was audited during the holiday I was giving absolutely no notice they were going to restrict my account and then after telling the supervisor of what was going on I was given the cold shoulder! I was told I had to fax my documents even though I had my credentials on my person ! Im so mad I might just cancel my account with capital one ! I never expected any special treatment but as a first responder who works and helps people in the same area I thought I would have been treated better and got less attitude!!

The service I received was humble.This location seems like a nice location thats why I went over to do business but the rep I had was doing her own personal stuff over the phone,she give me the iPad to filled my Information out,I was doing her job basically, she didnt care to advice or assist me with anything,the service was so bad I didnt even catch her name,I didnt feel value as a customer, I feel like she was races towards me..

The manager Nick is exceptional. I needed to get a temporary card & they were basically closed it was 6:03pm. When I called I spoke with the manager Nick who allowed me to come in & obtain a temporary card. That is exceptional customer service. I appreciated it very much.
