My husband and I opened a new account at MCU Midwood last week and applied for a car loan. To say that our experience was great would still be an understatement. All staff is extremely professional, efficient and friendly. A special shout out to Keisha and Makeila who stayed at the branch with us for 2 hours after closing time in order to complete our transaction. The ladies helped us resolve our issues as quickly as possible, with smiles on their faces, and were an incredible pleasure to interact with. No one wants to sit at the bank for hours, especially after hours, but Keisha and Makeila worked relentlessly to have a resolution for us that same day and did so with a friendly disposition, making us feel reassured and comfortable. Instead of walking out exhausted, we walked out happy and charged with Keisha and Makeila's positive energy. Not anything I've experienced at any other bank! Very, very pleased with our experience and highly recommend MCU and the Midwood branch specifically to everyone looking to "step outside the box".

How this particular location run is highly unprofessional and disorganized. You stand on a long line to see someone inside. Unlike the downtown location where they categorize and organize the line in according to what someone is here for. The line here in this location moves very slowly. The lady who took my name down to check in was a little passive aggressive and dismissive.

My husband and I opened a new account at MCU Midwood last week and applied for a car loan. To say that our experience was great would still be an understatement. Today was my first time visiting the MCU. I visited the Midwood Branch on Flatbush Avenue. The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful, especially my banker Mrs. Lastacia Williams. Opening an account was easy as 123, abc! She is very knowledgeable about the services offered by the MCU and gave us detailed information about each. There Apps is the worst apps ever. My card is lost or stolen and I reach out to have it shut down. The person I got to help me couldnt find my account he sounded as if he was sleeping. I became suspicious and wonder if he was a scammer the breached their system . The apps makes no sense, I should be able to lock my card with a tap. I am frustrated I dont feel safe with them at all ! I am moving all my money to another bank or credit union.

I was very happy of my experience at this location. I can say first that I was pissed seeing that I had to still wait even after setting an appointment and getting there before time. One of the representative greeted me at the entrance so she can know how to assist me. After checking me in, Andy Eustache was so professional in welcoming me to his space. I came in to have 3 matters resolved. After Andy closely paid attention to my situation. He was able to offer me a product that I thought I would not qualify for . Also the fact that he speaks multiple languages just like me, this made me feel like he could relate to my experience. As a former commercial banking employee, he went above and beyond to assist me. I really appreciate every one in the branch as this was my first time visiting this location. Thank you MCU for continuing providing services that us members really need in our financial journey.

Makeida!!!!!!!!!! After serval failed attempts of withdrawing money from the ATM s and two 40 mins calls to the call center and the fund department telling me that there was no known block on my account and card was perfectly fine for use! I ve attempted yet again to make a withdrawal via ATM and was unable to do so. Makeida Was so helpful with finding there was a falcon block happening. Quickly replaced my card. Updated all my contacts information, assisted with my Zelle account as well as my issue with transferring money to my mothers account. Makeida you are an absolute angel! I ve had Mcu for the last 12 years, and this is by far the most ghetto unprofessional Mcu that I have ever been to. The music was blasting. I was asked to wait by the ATM which smelled like garbage, the young lady at the first seat, got up several times to open the door as if she was a doorman and asked me to leave before anyone even checked me in! They were absolutely Rude ! The entire staff should be in serviced on a work ethic and customer service.

First of all I was skeptical about using MCU for my loan institution consider the great experience I had with another credit union. After having multuple conversations with Max and his great inviting customer service skills and knowledge of the loan industry I was no longer using my previous mentioned credit union. Max has a prompt return time and thorough explainations of my financial options. Ive since had a personal loan, refinanced my motorcycle and car loan and will opt on using Max and MCU for my next home investment property in the near future. Kudos to Max and his staff. You will always have my business.

Today was a very busy day at this location the line went on to outside and only 3 people are allowed in the waiting area at this branch. there was only 2 people working in this branch today and I was fortunate to have been assisted by Ms Shaneika Ellis. She is very polite and has a smile that would light up a room. I must say she works very well under pressure and kept reassuring everyone in the line that she will get to them as soon as she can. I felt really bad because my issue took longer than I expected: however; she told me it doesn t matter how long it takes, she will get down to the bottom of my issue. I know it was a minute before closing but Shaneika still took me with a smile on her face we even told a couple jokes about me walking in right before closing and she got me in and out with a new card in no time. That was very impressive of her. 5 star service, definitely. This branch has some new staffing and I love the service I ve been receiving coming in lately.

As I entered MCU bank. I was greeted in a professional manner. Even asked if I would like to have a seat. At the front desk in the establishment. I approached Anesha and Shaneika at the front desk when I was called in a fast people friendly environment. Who where professional in the area that they covered. These two young ladies where fast and covered ever inch that needed to be in there area of expertise. I loved there professionalism in handling the difficulties of my situation. I was in and out in less than five minutes. Due to there expertise and their years of experience at this location. I left assured that my banking needs are in good hands at MCU. I give Anesha and Shaneika at MCU Bank on costumer service with there people friendly skills, with there level of professionalism. Two thumbs up and five stars. Cause they went above and beyond in implementing with implementation of putting people before themselves.

The atms are horriable always down after i made a deposit it kept saying in process then machine shut down on me lucky i waited and my card came out but the money i deposit was not credited to my account now i have to go into the bank

I was pleasantly surprised at the level of professionalism, expertise & demeanor of EVERY member of the Flatbush staff but special thanks to Ms.Tyra, Ms. Makeida & Mr. Max! After being told by the Manhattan Chambers St & Broadway branch that I would not NOT be seen at my 11:30 SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT time but would have to wait behind some of the 9 people waiting -lack of operations & customer service was evident. I m grateful I was well taken care of by my home branch because TIME is the MOST PRECIOUS COMMODITY but kindness is also invaluable!

I came into the bank at about 4pm to complete my auto loan. The 3 people who helped me were hard working, knowledgeable and positive. They could ve sent me home to get the check the next day, because they were closing soon, but they sat with me until almost 6pm (they close at 4:30pm) and I left with my check. Thank you all very much.

Took a friend there because she needed a replacement card. One of the employees was walking around with slippers. I understand not wanting to have heels on the whole but at least put them on when waking around and once you re at your desk you can put your UGG slippers on. Her desk is near the entrance. My friend got what she came for.

I ve had MCU for several years but I have never gone into the branch location because of the stories I heard. I needed a loan and I decided to go in. I scheduled an appointment online and I received an appointment for Friday the same week. Upon entering into the branch, I was greeted by a friendly security guard who took my information and placed me in the waiting area. Within 2 minutes, Cheyenne came over and escorted me to her desk. What was most striking about Cheyenne was how well-versed she was about the loan process. She was able to answer every question posed. She also gave me insight into my credit score. Not only was she knowledgeable, she was relatable and friendly. We had a great conversation while doing the loan application. It was not a long, drawn-out process. Cheyenne was efficient and I was in the bank for less than 30 mins. By the time I got home- within the same hour Cheyenne called me to tell me my loan was approved. She provided me her email address and step by step instructions on what to do next. The following Monday, I received a call bright and early from Jessie. She informed me that Cheyenne was out but if I needed any assistance to contact her. She provided me with her email and phone number. I called Jessie Monday afternoon around 4pm to assist me. The bank is schedule to close at 4:30pm so I knew I was pressed for time. I needed them to finalize the auto loan that day and cut the check so I can purchase my new vehicle. Jessie assured me that everything would be taken cared of that day. The same service I received from Cheyenne, I received from Jessie. Jessie was competent, skillful, and helpful. Jessie got the job done. When I called back again, Jessie was dealing with a client so I was assisted by Max. Who, like Jessie, reassured me that everything would be finalized that same day. Max was pleasant, reassuring, and helpful. I believe I received my final call from Jessie close to 7pm. She and Max stayed late just to assist me! Wow! What a spectacular team. All and all, I ve been told that the prior team wasn t as good. Rest assured, this power team -Max, Jessie, and Cheyenne will go above and beyond for you. They consider their MCU members. I left this experience feeling appreciated and valued as an MCU member. Thank you guys for your help! Yvie

This bank is always in fault.. First of all there ATM machine ate my 900.00 dollars up and didnt go into my account..Then I check my accounts cause I noticed my receipts wasnt out from ATM machine.. i immediately went to the teller made and frustrated the machine took my money..They said nothing they can do but out in a claimed..Why AM I putting a claimed I have to wait for their faulty ATM machine..I told them I have bills too take care of and Supervisor said she makes sure she handle it today..This occur and 210pm on FRIDAY JANUARY 8, 2021.Its now Saturday and MO CALL AND KNOW THEY SAY THIS BANK CLOSED ON SATURDAY..ALL I KNOW MONDAY SOMEONE NEED MAKE ME WHOLE..IM DISAPPOINTED WITH RHE SERVICE AND THE LACK OF URGENCY FROM THESE CUSTOMERS REPS AND SUPERVISOR HELPING AND MAKING SURE CUSTOMERS DONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM..I NEED MY MONEY NOW..

Worst bank ever! Bad enough there are barely branches but a good portion of them are ATM only with no actual teller servicing. I call customer service (which is a nightmare) and finally get a hold of somebody who was really nice. She proceeds to tell me dont worry, our Flatbush branch will be able to do your check deposit with NO ATM card I asked again are you sure? Because i do not have a bank card to use the ATM in order to carry out a check deposit? She said yes. I walk in, take a number and get a representative who states that I cannot be helped. Of course they have bankers to open accounts but no tellers. Worthless bank.

Its really small in this location, but you can get your banking done. On Saturdays it is busy and theres not many seats for everyone. The customer service wasnt that great as well. I will try to avoid this location.

The ATMs at this particular location have consistently been an issue and has only gotten worse recently. I came to this location a few months ago and by the end of my transaction my card was taken and never given back. I came back tonight using the new card, and the ATM first took my money, then said my pin was incorrect, and when I cancelled the transaction, the machine flashed a Thank You for Coming to MCU message with no receipt and the money failing to be credited to my account or given back to me. With these constant issues, new cards needing to be sent out because of constant fraud and internal theft, and always needing new codes to log into your account, it is quite stressful. Despite these issues, the staff has been very helpful in trying to resolve any problems the customers come across, including myself.
