I truly could not recommend RHMC more. Working with Mike Bogner is a dream. Incredibly empathetic, knowledgeable, patient and creative. Mike went out of his way many times to ensure we were taken care of, Saturday morning calls, following up to see how our open houses went, all while getting to know us as people. Mike was incredibly responsive to us as well as those who needed information or input during the review/closing process. Mike was able to get a commitment for us in only 2 weeks from application. Working with a direct lender AND one who is so responsive, absolutely gave us a leg up in the market and gave the sellers a lot of confidence in our offer. He was genuinely our north star throughout the home buying process and was a sanity check for me on the numbers to make sure things worked. One thing I respect about Mike is that he will advise you if you are leading your own ship to the cliffs, he doesnt ideally watch you get off course for the sake of him getting signed paperwork. There were a few times on our journey where Mikes advisement and cool head gave us the clear direction to go. Kayla is a great compliment to the way Mike operates. I dont think an email went more than 5 minutes without a response from Kayla which is incredible. Kayla too was very patient and a great communicator to help facilitate document transfers, e signs, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed working with this team and RHMC.

As a first-time homebuyer, I was very anxious due to my lack of knowledge. My first inquiry was answered immediately by Phil Cresta from RHMC and from our first conversation, Phil explained the whole process especially the financial aspect which helped put my anxiety at ease. He was honest and transparent and never promised me more than he could deliver. For the entire process which only took about a month, Phil regularly communicated with me and followed up each time to be sure I understood the information being asked for and given. At times he would explain the legal jargon in laymens terms, I didnt have many questions as the information given was so complete and understandable! Once I found a property Phil went to bat for me! I am very pleased with my rate and loan terms and really feel as if Phil went above and beyond to come up with a plan that worked best for my situation. Keara Bailey also helped Phil with my case, and she too was very professional, polite, knowledgeable and just a pleasant person to work with. My experience with Phil and RHMC was flawless. I got the best interest rate: RHMC beat Wells Fargo and Chase by 1/2 point and better fees. My turn around period began June 9th, initiated by phone with credit card for loan origination fee. My signing was July 16th. All all pay offs were completed July 22nd and my check was in my hand (cash out) July 23rd. Exactly as Phil said it would proceed. Phil instilled confidence through out the process making it easier for me to relinquish delicate information with the least amount of dread. The entire process moved quickly and I furnished the required information very timely,in the same day it was asked for. 38 days from 1st contact by phone to signing...45 days till check in hand for a cash out refinance. You will need computer skills and/or fax skills to expedite the required submitting of information. How long it takes depends greatly on your completing each step, and how quickly you submit it. My credit score was very good and my refinance with cash out was with 36% equity remaining in the property. I will recommend Phil and RHMC to my family and friends. I feel very satisfied with the process from start to finish. There were no surprises, no bait and switch. Please remember even at your local bank branch, they are submitting your scanned documents electronically with home office. There is no getting around the electronic age we live in. I felt reasonably certain that my information was no less secure than with any other banking institution.

Phil helped us as first time homeowners in 2017 and was extremely professional and informative throughout the whole process. I reached out to a couple of mortgage brokers and they all wanted to charge all these crazy (hidden) origination fees but residential was very fair and it was helpful to go to a direct lender. He was very responsive and guided us from start to closing. We started with a 7 year arm and ended up using Phil again in 2020 to refinance when rates became even lower. We are now in a fixed 30 year and very happy that we chose Phil and residential as our mortgage company.

Phil Cresta and the entire team at RHMC made my first home buying experience run so smoothly! Not only did they help to educate me along the way, they were patient with my questions, personable, and highly professional as well. Their approach was to provide me with smaller chunks of to-dos in order to manage the paperwork needs all throughout the process. As long as you are organized and responsive as well -- the home-buying process can go incredibly smoothly too (which I tried my best to do!). Trying to choose a mortgage provider can be a daunting task, especially for a first-time home buyer. As part of that process, I had put together a short list of providers and made a worksheet with line items that I asked each of them to complete for me, so I knew I was comparing apples to apples to help me decide. Not only did Phil Cresta from RHMC help by filling it out and adding notes for my education, he was the first one to complete it and gave me a compliment for my approach. During the closing, I cannot begin to share how many compliments were being tossed around with regard to RHMC. My realtor, attorney and title company representative were pleasantly surprised by RHMC doing an end-of-week weekly update to share progress. They all thought that extra personal touch was simply amazing, and I cannot agree more. I would highly recommend RHMC to everyone -- whether youre a seasoned home buyer or a first-timer, as I was.

I would like to give it zero stars, but there is no such option. Also, Id like the review to stand out, so I give it not 1 star, but 2 stars. I bought my house back in 2019. NOT with RHMC. They use shady business practices. Specifically they would not provide standard Loan Estimate form unless one gives them credit card. They coerce customers into providing credit card information and signing some paperwork that entitles them to charge your credit card. Only then they will give Loan Estimate. So, they charged my card and never reimbursed me back when I decided to go with different lender. Im not sure if its even legal. Maybe their lawyer says so, but that still constitutes unethical business practice straight from 20s century. That was my very first experience as a home buyer, so I didnt know all ins and outs. In short -- they will take advantage of you. Why bother, there are better mortgage companies out there and I mean better. :)

Closed this week on my first home and after looking at almost 10 different companies, I settled on RHMC for their impressive rates, fees, and most importantly support. I dealt with Phil Cresta and his and RHMCs communication was fantastic and truly made this a smooth and easy process for me. Since this was my first home I had a lot of questions and Phil made himself readily available to me whenever I needed. They got me closed in about a month with no issues or delays. In the past year, Ive had the opportunity to work with Phil Cresta of RHMC not once, but twice. Initially, he assisted in the financing of our new home in July 2019, which went off like clockwork. Then, Phil took it upon himself to reach out when rates dropped in early 2020 and we did a no-cost refi together, getting us down a full half percentage point on interest and $45k savings over the life of the loan with lender covering closing costs. When all was said and done with escrows, we brought a whopping $190 to the refi closing. Couldnt ask for better, hope hes still in the game 30 years from now!

We received a great rate and deal to the point where when I told other companies what I was quoted from RHMC the advice I received was to go with them. That was advice from other mortgage companies competing for my business! More importantly though, the service was outstanding. I never once had trouble getting Phil or Scott on the phone when I had a question. They were always more than happy to take the time to speak with me and provide me with whatever information I needed. I would send emails late at night and receive thorough responses shortly after or the first thing the next morning. As a first time home buyer I can t recommend RHMC enough. We were purchasing a foreclosed home and the bank needed to move very quickly. RHMC made it happen with plenty of time to spare. Thank you Phil and Scott!

Absolutely the worst mortgage company. Customer service is so bad. My experience with them has not been great at all. I was working with Marc Duncan, who is very unresponsive but when it came time to get my credit card info to run a charge for an appraisal he quickly got in contact with me, however when I needed to get a refund he would not respond at all and when he did, all he would say is Im working on it. Luckily, I did not give them much money and was able to get my bank involved to get my money back. In the end, Ive decided to work with other lenders. I do not recommend them to anyone. Message to the company: Your customers are your business, they make you money, treat them right or else they will go elsewhere and you will lose business. It is that simple.

This company is very traditional and very slow in processing. I signed up for it and I dont think it will have enough time to close it so I cancelled it. Phil Cresta is a person full of attitude. He told me that during the time I sign up and the time I close, if the rate drops, he will adjust it. However, he didnt really track the rate and I am the one who has told him about the rate change. He is not really willing to lower it. He talked with me in a sarcastic way and it is really unprofessional. After I cancelled it for 4 months, he still called me and asked me if I was able to close my deal. I find it very disturbing and its not really his business anymore. I felt this company is not really doing well and he was looking for business everywhere. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Nick Reisig from Residential Home Mortgage Company (RHMC) contacted me while I was looking for a mortgage company. RHMCs big perks were that they offered me a good rate and let me lock in my rate sooner than any other mortgage company would. But it was really Nick that sold me on RHMC. As a first time home buyer, I didnt understand many aspects of the loan. Nick would graciously and kindly explain everything to me (sometimes multiple times, in multiple ways, and on multiple days). When speaking with people from other mortgage companies, I would hang up confused, stressed and unhappy. Every other person I spoke with from competing companies used scare tactics to tell me how I was being lied to and screwed over by everyone else. Their numbers would change with each conversation and I distrusted them all. Nick was very honest and clear with me at all times. Hed respond to my emails and phone calls immediately, even after hours and on weekends. He was extremely thorough and I was very confident in my choice to work with him and I appreciate all that he did for me. Unfortunately, Nick wasnt the only person involved in the loan process and as my loan moved to different departments of the company, I became increasingly frustrated and less confident in my decision. My closing date was pretty far out, so when I had all of my materials turned in there were still over two months to go until closing. I gave all of my files in one email with them clearly labeled and a description of what each form was to ensure everything would go smoothly and easily. For the next two months, I was constantly being asked for forms that were missing, although they were all files that Id already provided. Some of my forms I had to send 3-4 times, even on the days leading up to my closing! When I finally received my final numbers for my certified check, the number was incorrect. When I informed them of the mistake, they said theyd need three days to fix the error (which brought me to the day before closing) claiming they didnt know about a sellers assist. This information had been sent to them a month and a half prior. Once that was fixed, they somehow dropped the money I already had in escrow. Both my realtor and I had to call the manager multiple times to get this done. I almost missed my closing date due to their disorganization. Eventually, everything worked out after lots of stress, back-and-forth, and with both my realtor and me calling every hour. Nick is an incredible asset to the company and even after he should have been done with me, he continued to be my point person since he was the only person I trusted there. Its unfortunate that the rest of the company couldnt maintain the trust and ease that he had instilled in me.

Worst experience ever!!!!!! Absolutely terrible!!!!!! I worked with RHMC for almost a month. I had Mike Loggia as my loan officer and this was the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. This guy told me everything that I wanted to hear, up until I paid him the $540 up front fees that they have and then I couldn t get ahold of him. I left messages for his supervisor and never got a call back then after 3.5 weeks Mike calls me and says we have a issue with the process, and it was something that I explained to him in full detail before I paid the money and he reassured me that it wouldn t be a problem. All in all I dropped this company bc they refused to let me work with a different loan officer and I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone who wants honest reliable service. Definitely not going to get it at RHMC. Absolutely terrible experience.

Let me tell you, when you start the process of home buying and getting pre-approved, the options out there are endless. Its enough to make your head spin! I shared this predicament with a trusted colleague who immediately recommended Nick Reisig and Residential Home Mortgage Corporation. The day I contacted Nick, I immediately got in touch with him in order to run numbers. We were on the same page regarding not wanting to bite more than my wife and I could chew, and came upon a concrete and honest numbers over the phone including estimated rates, closing costs, down payments, loan terms, ect. It was a solid 45 min - 1 hour conversation, and I left that phone call knowing that I found the guy I wanted to be on my side during this process. My pre-approval was ready immediately that day. However, what really stood out during the process was the responsiveness when my wife and I were house hunting. We had to make several offers on different properties during our search, and thus required up to date documents to be enclosed with our offers. Whenever we asked for an updated letter, Nick went out of his way to provide that information for us leaving my wife impressed. Finally, on the day, we got an accepted purchase offer, we made arrangements to meet at an convenient location in order to get everything signed away. The rest of the process is where Nick and the rest of his team ( Zachary, Scott, Keara, and more I might have missed) really shined. The documents required were easy to upload and download electronically via a secured link, and we received responses for our inquiries pretty much on the same day. Everything was smooth with no surprises from the lender all the way through our closing. The mortgage term and rate we got were competitive, and we benefited by locking in our rate before they went up these past few months. All expenses were disclosed honestly and openly so we could confidently go through this process with our eyes wide open. I am a first time home buyer who was referred to Phil Cresta at RHMC through a friend. Entering the process I knew very little about buying a home or taking on a mortgage. I was afraid that there would be fees that show up towards the end that I was not aware of, or that the entire process itself would difficult and time consuming. Phil and the team at RHMC kept me informed of everything up front. They offered me a better rate than I could find elsewhere and were always available to answer my questions immediately. I never had to leave a voicemail for anyone, and all of my emails were returned same day. For me buying a home was the most important purchase of my life and I wanted to be diligent and understand every piece of paper I was signing and know every dollar I was spending . Therefore I asked many questions throughout the 60 days before closing, and asked them to run several different scenarios, and I was appreciative of the staffs patience in working with me as well as their knowledge they shared so that I was comfortable and confident with every signature. We just refinanced with RHMC and the experience was totally painless. Everything was done via email and snail mail and the closing was actually done at our home after work! How could we ask for more convenience than that? The rate was lower than any others, we initially were talking to Nick Reisig at RHMC and to another lender and the other lender told us that it must be a gimmick because that rate is just not available out there. Well guess what....we got that low rate with RHMC!! I am so glad we decided to work with Nick Reisig and Zack Micciche because they were so helpful throughout the entire process! They helped us accomplish a goal that we had been kicking around and putting off for a few years now. Thanks Nick and Zack!!

Phil Cresta and Michael Ibrahim did an amazing job getting me the financing I needed for my new home. I did not think it was going to be possible after being given the runaround by two local lenders then I found a snippet about RHMC and started reading their reviews. Deciding it couldnt hurt to try, I contacted them. The entire process was done online and over the phone and went very smoothly. Near the end, we ran into a couple of speed bumbs but these guys pushed right through and made it happen. I had a target closing date of March 31 and closed on April 3. I was thoroughly impressed and very happy with the service I received from RHMC and will call on them for future needs as well recommend them to anyone who needs financing!

I was offered a very good rate and my consultant was very responsive. We closed in a little more than a month. Any questions I had they were there to answer, didnt matter what time of day. Everyone I dealt with from sales to underwriting was professional and great to deal with. I definitely recommend them.
