I am a disabled veteran and physically handicapped. I have had extremely poor service at this branch I am also African American. I was in this branch just yesterday and waited almost 2 hours just to see a teller. They allowed several white, young people ahead of me who didn’t wait even a half an hour. After I complained they sent a black , young woman named Kelly and she was rude and disrespectful to me for the entire transaction. She was darker than me but she acted as if she was in the KKK. She didn’t know how to act or how to count money. Plus she kept rolling her eyes and mumbling incoherent gibberish. The white female assistant manager was even worse. Extremely ignorant and arrogant, unprofessional and rude. I was talking to an older black male customer and he said this is the norm for this branch for black older men like myself and him. They had their security guard call me and left a threatening voicemail message. I was threatened by one of their white female tellers about 18 months ago that if we were on the streets she would take care of me in a threatening tone. Can I find a lawyer to help me sue these bigots.x

The only downside are the hours for the atm and the limited parking but not even this makes it bad or unbearable. The bankers are always courteous. And take you serious regardless of how sensible you look or how bad your credit it is. They always take the time to explain everything and make sure you understand as well.

Fraud protection is a joke. Customer service sucks. This specific location has the worst attitudes as far as employees. The fraud department does not do their job. Thousands of dollars stolen from my account. As my home was broken into my computer, my phone, my wallet, everything was stolen, and the fraud department refused to honor their fraud protection policies. I get robbed by the robbers and robbed by the credit union . Just pathetic

The ATMs are always down, the lines always long, and the checks get held for 5 business days no matter the amount. I will probably switch to another bank. Only thing that keeps me coming back, is knowing that the other customers there are vets, and they probably get as frustrated as i do with this bank.

Navy Federal Credit Union used to be a very great Credit Union Bank. I dont know whats going on but they are going down hill to include their customer service and just the way they provide services to their customers. If youre looking for a great Credit Union try America First Credit Union. Navy Federal Credit Union and USAA have really went dowm hill in the quality of service that they give their customers now. Treating Active Duty, Veterans, their Families and Sponsored members with poor service is very disappointing and disrespectful to say the least. Not to mention they are now in trouble for discriminatimg against Black Loan Applicants (Veterans and Active Duty People who fought for this Country) just like Bank of America did to Black Loan Applicants a few years ago. I no longer recommend Navy Federal Credit Union. Also, Chris at the Decatur and 215 location who was working at the counter had a very unnecessary, unaccommodating, sarcastic demeanor about him...poor Customer Service is what it boils down to.

I absolutely loathe this location. They have a 30-something male worker that always is rude to me and I try to avoid him. I passed on going to his window this last time and he came over to the lady helping me and she acted intimidated by him. Now he is the manager and not a teller, but still acts funny when he sees me. They know they have a racist working there and condone it.

I went to the Navy FCU today (10/02/23) and was required to identify that I was disabled and wait. It s my understanding that this may be a violation of the Americans Disability Act (ADA) especially if a condition of receiving services at the Navy FCU. Furthermore, after signing in I was required to be seated and wait as if though I was applying for a loan. I am 100% disabled and feel humiliated by the poor services and negative treatment and the process in that you have to identify yourself as someone handicapped, which may be contrary and a violation under the ADA provisions. Nonetheless discriminatory in nature.

I had my mobile deposit suspended because a check seemed fraudulent and I even wrote up an appeal to which they simply said No . I simply don t have the time to drive 30 minutes everytime I need to deposit a check from my job. A horrible bank without an ounce of common sense, will be closing my account.

I visited this location to open an account. It was kind of crowded but the service moves fast. I was fortunate enough to be helped by Shanna. She was friendly and professional which made the whole process pleasant. I was in and out quickly. Excellent customer service!

Meh, I have no problems here and everyone is pleasant enough. My problem is more with Navy federal itself. The problem is they can borrow my money for basically free, but when I want to borrow theirs its a problem. The background for this is Ive had almost 50k in savings there for a couple of years and over 30k at the time I applied for a loan. Ive worked at my job full-time for a major corporation as a union worker for 25 yrs! I show on paper 89k but really bring home around 115k and have great credit. Between me and my lady we have almost 80k in savings in Navy federal and I would put her on the loan if needed. We could/would have no problem putting 5-10% down on a 400k house. My only debt is less than 5k so I dont know what the problem was. They took forever to even give me an answer (over a week) and it was like pulling teeth to get the answer... Denied. Even with both of us applying for the second time. My lady showed $110k on tax return, has excellent credit and owns her own home (mortgaged but we would rent for a good profit) Again took forever to find out we were denied. So I went through a normal lender and got easily approved within 1 day and better interest rate by myself. It was even the loan officers weekend and he was in total communication with me the whole time. He said he didnt know what they were looking at I could get approved for a good amount more no problem. So I put my bid on the house but unfortunately I missed out because there was already a bid that ended up getting accepted right when I was making my offer. So thanks a lot Navy federal. Im wondering if I even need to stay with you anymore as Im already with Chase anyways.

This morning , I took a trip to Navy Federal. Got there before they opened. Once the bank opened, I was asked what Navy Federal can do for me today. Well, I needed to have paperwork notarized. No big deal. Apparently, it was just too much trouble for the bank that Ive been with since I was in the military to print off one piece of paper this way I can have that paper notarized. I have had paperwork notarized there in the past and as you would think, no problem to print out what I needed to be notarized, signed, stamped and on my way. I was so annoyed with the service being a loyal customer and all that I went down the road and paid UPS to do the job that Navy Federal could have done for me. Word of advice, dont expect them to print anything out for you. Not even a single page.

I cannot help but think this is the worst bank ever. Both ATMs are down on the first business day of the new year. I just watched almost a dozen people try to withdraw their money, but BOTH ATMS ARE DOWN. And, they know we have to drive over 45 minutes to the next closest ATM. NFCU treats customers in Las Vegas like trash. Customer service is a joke and convenience is a myth.

Member Services has an attitude problem. I had a very unique, serious, and important issue that needed correction. Instead of listening attentively to my initial statement of the issue at the initial helpdesk they insisted on arguing with me over the change that I was requesting. And after wasting 40 minutes of my time, because they had to call Virginia, which I could have just done on my own, I left with the problem unresolved. As of today I have resolved this serious banking issue, on my own with the help of calling Virginia NFCU. The problem that I have with this branch is not that they could not help me. The issue is the rude, and basically lack of customer service from your staff. They had the attitude of I am bothering them. No empathy of the situation, not much concern. This entire issue was caused by Navy Federal making this mistake in the first place. It should have never been allowed to happen.

My experience today was not a good one. It was more crowded and only two tellers. One of the ATMs was down. It made the wait even longer. Response: That may be good and all but some people, especially the older ones, dont like doing business like that. They prefer a person. They dont like the technology or not tech savvy for the app. Or it doesnt feel safe enough for them. You have people at the ATM doing things that they can do from the app, like checking balances or anything else besides depositing or withdrawing which makes the wait longer with one working ATM. I cant even deposit a check through the app. I have no access. Theres not enough branches in close proximity.

I ve been with navy federal for 7 years and they have been the most helpful and attentive bank I have banked with. Customer service is 24/7 and very fast and friendly. I ve never had a bad call. And any issue no matter how taxing, was resolved. Wait times for in person at the banks are usually fast

Love this place no matter what branch you severed in. Very friendly, 24/7 ATMs for us night working stiffs. They also have bank tellers unlike some other banks like one Nevada. Worth the trip everytime I go there. Very very helpful employees too. Kudos to all employees.

Love Navy Federal and this location, I ve never had an issue. I do have one small gripe. It just isn t acceptable for a teller to be at their position and ignore the people in line. I don t care if they are balancing their drawer or assisting a manager, if they don t have a closed sign up, take the next customer. Customers come first.

Not this branch but Navy Federal over all. Dont get their credit cards, they will are slow at best in dealing with fraud with cards. Have fraud notification setup, called within 2 mins of card being used over 2k miles away. I froze card and they still allowed card to be charged. assured me it would be taken care of, well they posted fraud charges to new card. Cant tell me when my new card will arrive, call three times with three different answer on when I would get credited for fraudulent charges. End result they said I may be responsible for the charges. Bottom line I would not get a credit card from them. I have froze all my cards with them, and going some where else that offers better protections.

I want to give no stars. The last three times I ve attempted to deposit checks in two months the atm s tell me they can t. I have to drive 30 minutes to go to this location because the second location is an hour away from me. After 10 years Of great service, I m leaving Navy Fed because of this reoccurring experience. So thankful that I am able to bank with Navy Federal. Interest rates on a wide variety of accounts are great and the service at the Decatur branch is perfect. Everyone is genuinely happy to help and so knowledgeable on all their products.

Horrible location I went into this branch to deposit money into my account as well as ask a simple question about closing a account . The teller was unable to communicate with me in English after I said I would go to a different bank that would have a teller that can communicate properly in English my native language I was jumped on like I was disrespectful . Excuse me for expecting my bank teller to be able to speak and understand the language . I will never bank with them again

I walked in to ask your police officer on duty a question and his face said, please dont rob me. His hand was on his gun the whole time and he looked at me like I was a criminal.. I have an account with navy federal and if you have an officer on duty I should be able to ask him a question (also as a citizen I should be able to ask an officer of the law a question regardless if hes at a bank) are you guys getting stuck up so much hes scared like that? Or ask him to calm down a little, I felt kind of threatened. I dont have a bullet proof vest, he does..

Ive been going to this location since 2013 and never experienced any problems other than the occasional banking problems. I recommend this bank to my friends and family.

Great for everything to do with money. Good staff but there is no way to see which days its closed until you actually go there yourself and find a sign on the door. Online it says open from 9-5 on Monday October 9th but after driving 20 minutes to get there, there is a small sign on the door that said closed for Columbus day on October 9, 2017. Thats disappointing. Wasted gas

Finally went to them for vehicle, toy hauler and side by side loans with the lowest interest rates. I go in and pay since not my main bank but when getting loans and going into pay I keep getting Anthony. Very glad when I do because he knows his stuff and is very quick at his job. His service is A++++ every time, thank you sir.

Good interest rates, easy personal loans, and credit card approvals. Service can be mediocre. Some people are great, while others do not greet you as you enter. Most of the reps are very friendly. If you go during lunch, be prepared to be in line for a long time. Poor experience with credit card late payment. I told them that I was going to be a week late and they said no problem. The following day, the pulled the money out of my checking account.

Normally I LOVE my bank, but today, a teller by the name of Favi was a complete and total unpleasant experience. She was rude, inconsiderate, made the most annoying faces, and acting like I was being a problem. Little girl, it is your JOB to be kind to those who come in, especially when they are uniformed and it is a military bank. I am so disgusted by her behavior that yes, I will drive an extra few miles, and do my business elsewhere.

There was a mistake on our check with the address. We came in and asked to correct the address. The manager of the bank deeply apologized and said that there was no excuse for that mistake. He waved any fees that would come in and gave us a Starbucks gift card. All very friendly and professional!

Marine Veteran - A very poor organization with CREATIVE ACCOUNTING that will cost you more money in fees than planned on. I just lost $60 on two consecutive paychecks and I will be contacting the local office today to complain again. Terrible service, terrible checking, AND THIS ORGANIZATION DOES NOT CARE ABOUT VETERANS!

My experience with the management team here in Las Vegas has been great. I have never seen people with the label of Manager, or Assistant Manager have any kind of a personality--these people did, and were incredibly kind and helpful.
