Heidi was able to help my husband and I refinance our car loan and our interest rate was cut in half!! She was very knowledgeable and explained everything very throughly. At the time, she was the only loan officer working yet we didn t wait very long. She had us in and out within 35 minutes. Very happy Navy federal customer!!

Watch your bank account even when its frozen. They allow stuff to go through no matter if your card is frozen or not. They allow for you to always be in the hole with them. There is no getting ahead with them.

The Asian girl with the soft voice and the glasses was amazing. She helped us figure out a discrepancy with a payment and called around to have it fixed. She put in a lot of time and effort for us. I wish i remembered her name. But its good thing that this bank hires good people who are actually good at their job. But this woman went above and beyond our expectations.

I went to the Bellevue location to pick up a cashiers check. Romelyn, the individual that assisted me, was really thorough in answering my questions and resolving my worries when I had inquiries concerning the charges on my checking account. For having direct deposit, she even offered me the benefit of having my ATM cost reimbursed. That will allow me to use any ATM nearby, which will save me a ton of time and money! The reasons why people still desire to visit banks are employees like Romelyn.

This branch has some compassionate and friendly individuals. Romelyn gave me all the information I needed and educated me when I came in to apply for a mortgage. She helped me every step of the way and gave me clear explanations of everything I needed to do to get better so I could be approved for a bigger amount and a lower rate. I conveyed to her the significance of this procedure for me, and she was incredibly helpful and informed. Romelyn is an extremely considerate worker.

If I could give a minus 10; I would to Navy Federal. I was called a liar by Ethan a supervisor with Navy Federal. I did not give UBER permission to sign me up for uner one and they took 99 dollars out of my account. When I spoke to their Eeathan he called me a liar and said there was nothing I could do because I had taken uber rides I gave uber my debit card info but I did not mistakenly or otherwise give them permission to sign me up for Uber One at all...he said it will take 90 days after a dispute is filed to MAYBE give me my monies back but since I did give them my info to get rides withbuber that I would more than likely NOt give or get my Mmoney back. They said it was not fraud it was a dispute ..when someone signs me up for something I did not ok I call it frolaud..I am so dishheatebd and angry..

The girl who received clients was so nice and professional. She asked me for wait for someone who help me. Unfurtunatly i do not remember the name of the person who assisted me,but she was rude and was connstantly looking at her watch. I felt like being rushed to finish. Even i asked her to apologized me because i was taking her time. I really felt disappointed. If i am contacted for the bank in case they read this, i probably can describe the rude employee and get to identify her. I am sorry but being rude should never being an option in customer service. They have some really dumb policies, for instance, trying to set up automatic withdrawal from an outside bank. Well, even though we set up a savings account with them, they still wont let me, a co-borrower and husband, set that up because the primary has to. Apparently, they dont understand the idea of shared household tasks and people being on an equal footing. Not impressed.

I was thinking about opening up a business account with Navy Federal today but after going in the branch and everyone sitting around with offices but they tell you can only open up accounts online which is false, and that the branch is only for withdrawals or deposits and after reading other Google reviews Im good on them for any type of accounts The heavy set lady at the podium by the front door when you first walk in was also very rude Ill give them a -10 stars if I could. I dont see how theyre still in business at this Bellevue branch double fail.

Unfortunately google doesn t allow me to leave ZERO stars. I typically hate automated phone systems but it s whatever, you just have to deal. However, Navy Federal has the WORST. It doesn t give you enough time to type in your account number and constantly cuts you off and hangs up. It also goes through EVERY option (which takes about 5 minutes) before finally asking me if I want a representative. So every time I call with issues, I ve got to wait 5 min just for it to MAYBE transfer me to a person, or sometimes it just chooses to hang up so I do it all over again. Absolutely UNBELIEVEABLE that a business would suck this horribly at caring for customer service. -10/5 stars.

I have been a member for over 35 years, and a retired commissioned Naval Officer. I drove to Omaha this morning from another state to take care of my financial business. The NFCU representative Agathes customer service was not to par. She commenced to tell me everything I could not do, and cut me off in the middle of my sentence. After asking her to make a transfer, she wasnt attentive and did not transfer the correct funds which caused me to have to get back in line and revisit her to make thing right. I have always taken pride in being a NFCU member but today I guess I am not valued as much as I value NFCU. Please help Agathe with her customer service skills.

Absolutely horrible! Often wonder if they should be labeled as thieves. Whenever my account balance is low towards the end of the month transactions being updated on my online account seem to take 3 days or even longer sometimes. This in turn throws my budget off and makes them money by charging fees that would not have happened if they just did their job and pushed a few buttons to have my transactions processed on time and could see the true and current balance of my account. Hopefully all financial institutions don t resort to these kinds of practices.

Well...Im kind of perplexed at the negative comments. Weve been banking here for about 12 years now. Never had any problems, had several auto loans, a debit card and a credit card. Debit card was hijacked 2 years ago, NFCU was on it quickly, turned off the card and then stamped out a new one right there in the branch. No complaints from me or my wife.

The people are good. The customer service is good. Been banking with them for about 10 years now. Why 1 star instead of 5? Well they like to take money from my account to offset debts even after a payment arrangement has been made. One of their most recent antics: they literally took every penny from my main account and the department I need to talk to isnt even in today.

attempted to move mutual funds to NFCU for over 2 years, they cant find the paperwork, they did move an IRA though? funny it was in same envelope. Called NFCU and spent over and hour on the phone with nothing resolved. A lot of frustration though. Sent letters, so far no response. I cant be the only person they are treating this way.

The Sunday manager here is the rudest I have ever seen she chews gum with an open mouth and a sneer on her face and has the audacity to tell me a scam isn t fraud and to go to the police.Get rid of this manager she is rude and doesn t even uphold the $2500 fraud protection this bank offers. NFCU has become an embarrassment. Tried to coordinate with a buddy I served with to transfer money since we both bank NFCU. NFCU screwed it up not once, not twice, but three times... leaving over $2,500 in cyberspace as unaccountable funds for over four days. The local brach in Bellevue was just remodeled but theres only two tellers and one banker working. Be prepared to wait 20+ minutes to just cash a check at any time of day. Ive banked with them for over 15 years with sizeable accounts. Ill be closing all accounts with NFCU shortly. Mission failed.

So my golden retriever decided it was a great idea to snag a $50 bill from me while I was wrapping Christmas gifts and pretty well destroy it. I went to NF to request a reissue as she only consumed a small portion of it and I had the remaining pieces and full serial number. They turned me away with a sticky note saying that I could mail it to the Federal Reserve to have it replaced. The internet seems to suggest that most banks would exchange it for you so I went to First National on Cornhusker, they were happy to help me out and exchanged it for me! I wont be back to Navy Federal for any further in person banking needs.

Today I was told that my family cannot use this since they are not members, even though I am with them every time. Trying to close on a house and its awful trying to get a hold of my mortgage point of contact. She never answers her phone. She is rude in emails. Ive had to let two home slip because she didnt get the pre-approval letter sent in time for me to make an offer. She ignored me for 2 or 3 days. Save yourself a headache and go with any other company. If they didnt already pull my credit for my mortgage application, I would be going somewhere else.

If there was a rating of zero, that would be my overall rating. I banked with them for over 15 years and in the last 5 years, this bank has went downhill. They won t let you talk to the actual departments you need to talk to. They do not communicate well with their customers. One time, they froze my debit card and I didn t know. Instead of them calling me about purchases like any normal bank would do, they assume. And when I called them, they use the excuse it was due to fraudulent activity. They never a real answer to your questions. You are transferred to a lot of people who you have to tell the story over again. I will say I do like the representatives at this branch, but they are limited on what they can do. I wish they can do more. I closed my account with them after 15 years of being a member. And so did all of my family members.

I dont like that 9 times out of 10 the ladies that are usually sitting at the front desk dont greet you or say have a good day when youre leaving. You can say hi, I know you have peripheral vision. Its the little things. I have other bank accounts so I know when I walk in, there is going to be a lady at the front desk who wont greet me.

I have had many positive experiences there. There was only 1 or 2 tellers where it was ok, but the majority of them go out of their way to help! From the time we had to shop for our car (we did end up getting our loan there and we were in a time crunch at the time) to when we had to get a mortgage for our home (we didnt end up there, but we were educated ). Recently I lost my wallet and the people were exceptionally helpful, looking at the cameras, suggesting what else I should do. Banking with them is great because you are working with people who really care.

Went to this branch to sign promissory note and after 9 days nothing happens so I called VA office and asked why. They said they never got my fax with my signature from the Bellevue branch. So I went to the branch to ask why my fax wasnt sent, the lady at the counter asked for my name. As soon as I said my first name she said oh its about the promissory note? We very sorry something happened we werent able to send it, but we just sent it everything will be good in 48hrs. Well this is the 49th hour and still nothing happened. My questions are... it takes 9 days to send a fax? What ever happened wasnt resolved in 9 days until I showed up there? Does the branch know how difficult to come to the branch since branches are not every where. I have a $209000 mortgage, $16000 car loan, credit cards and yes am a young black man. Am paying over $1000 in interest to your bank every month so if you guys dont want my business or will treat me like this I will gladly move my business somewhere else.

This is the first NFCU I ever had unpleasant service! A lady who wears a name tag that says Melissa and claims shes THE branch manager has always been rude to me in all the times Ive had to deal with her! When we finally called the VA headquarters and they researched the reported incidents, turns out this particular teller is NOT the branch manager and that her name is Shelly/Shellie. Unfortunately, theyre the only NFCU in our area so I have no choice but to either deal with her unpleasantness or hope I dont end up at her station. However, everybody else has been nice and professional.
