I brought in a large amount of jewelry that was donated and Dustin was so courteous in handling it. He was extremely knowledgeable, and took his time with explaining the process and looking over every piece. Also made great conversation while we were waiting. Can't thank him enough for his customer service and patience!

Other pawn stores in this town don't compare! Everyone that works there is extremely friendly, helpful, & kind. They treat you like a real person & they are always patient w any questions I may have. It's so nice to enter a business to see everyone w happy & smiling faces! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Family Pawn has worked with me several times on pawn loans. They are always friendly and knowledgeable.

But....

I want to give special thanks to the men who helped me today, and Crystal for allowing it to happen.
I know it is a simple and nonvaluable ring, but it belonged to my deceased aunt and was given to me by her widower, my Uncle.
During my visit todal, the ring was straightened back to a circle, sized slightly larger to fit me, and polished and buffed.

Not only did the family who IS Family Pawn take the time to fix my ring, they did not ask for compensation and I almost had to arm wrestle an employee to take a measly tip because he tried to refuse it.

Bottom line ... good people.

10/10 highly recommend

The staff in this family pawn are an amazing group. They assisted me in getting the best price for my gold pieces. In addition, I returned the following day to drop over a 1000 movies. They helped me unload my car and counted all of them using about half the staff to do so. It was a joy to watch them look over that movies. There was a lot of classics in the load. My most memorable moments were with Crystal. She offered a level of comfort and support when I explained why I was making these pawns. If you should read this Crystal, I hope your dog with the tail issue is ok. It isn't always about the money when you choose a pawn shop. It is about the family feel you get when you walk in the door. I appreciate you all very much.

The last time I was there was a while ago and the staff acted as if they didn't care to be there and when they finally noticed you they would ask you "what do you want?" I wasn't really pleased with service but I was pleased with the variety of inventory. But lately I've been hearing more about this place and how much better it has gotten since then so I figured I'd give it one last shot and sure enough it was worth it. Everyone was polite and willing to help and always answered every question given. The way I see it the place just needed different people that had a better attitude for service. Thank you family pawn for bettering my experience.

Staff was extremely friendly and nice. Very intelligent about what they are selling. Me and my buddy were just passing by and went to another pawn shop that was callled valiant. The lady in valiant acted as if our presence was a Nuisance. Than we went to family pawn and immediately regretted going to valiant. Family pawn had an Awesome atmosphere. Will definitely be back next time I’m around the area

Had an incredible experience! The people are friendly and helpful. The prices they offer are fair. It is a pawn shop after all, they have to make money too. I've been going there for about 5 years, not once had a horrible experience. I would recommend this pawn shop first every time.

Very nice people, very helpful. I will absolutely go there again. And its nice to know if you need a loan, whatever your using for collateral, its nice to know they dont put it on the shelf for 90 days.

Been going here for awhile. Last couple of times staff has gotten to where they ignore customers. Stood over by firearms for over 5 mins no one came asked if they could help us or anything. Guess time to take my business else where. Sad use to be such a friendly atmosphere now all you get coming threw the door is hey or hello then thats it. The female working was more worried about her cell phone and eating her ice. Sad just plan sad

Absolutely just rude on phone. Cant ask simple question with out getting a attitude and being a ass to someone on phone. Terrible service out the gate and didnt have to walk into store. Well your loss not mine. I am a buyer looking for new paint sprayer and power washer.. You loss that money and any further sales from my business and family.. O an no need to apologize or make excuse on here to cover your bad employees. You would not need to if you ran your business right! I know I own a couple different businesses.

The staff here overall are great they have a great selection of items that are very very reasonable prices I purchased several items from here and if I ever have a problem I can bring it back and theyll try to fix the problem Shelby is a very pleasant person and shes great to do business with and you really dont find that much often one staff member is not really pleasant but I still give it a 5-star rating

Do not buy nothing from family pawn in Sedalia mo I bought a Nikon scope from them it shoots low cant be adjusted no more and they told me they cant do nothing for me so basically I gave them almost 200 dollars and got screwed not professional people

I adore shopping at Family Pawn in Sedalia! I live in Jefferson City and gladly drive to Sedalia because of the great service from Tony and the staff at Sedalia. They have great deals whether I am looking for jewelry or electronics or wanting to trade for a new firearm. The staff knows their stuff and I appreciate their professionalism!

I have been to many pawn shops and vowed to never return, until I stumbled upon Family Pawn!! I was looking for used video games for my grandkids. What a great find!! The games were all $5 or less!! Not only that but they cleaned the DVDs before I left the store!! I was extremely impressed. The store was laid out almost like a department store. Hunting gear was in its own section, guitars in another, beautiful jewelry in clean cases. The store was extremely clean and not smoky like a lot of other pawn shops I have visited. I found the staff was very friendly and helpful They seemed fair about their price when we wanted to sell our items. But to be fair we all think our treasures are worth more than they actually are!! I liked the store well enough that I even returned with my grandchildren so they could shop for their own games and movies. We even came out with an Xbox 360 that was in nicely packaged box. Kudos to a nicely run pawn store. Very pleased indeed, check it out.

Whenever I travel through Sedalia, MO I always stop by Family Pawn. They have a very clean and organized store. The staff there is always nice and happy to talk.

Everytime I go in they are always so friendly and very helpful! They have a good selection of stuff and I can always find what Im looking for. Theres a girl that works there, I think her name is Shelby, and she is the friendliest helpful person! I love coming to see her there:)

Theyll take your gold ring, but theyll pay you dirt for it. Being a repeat customer, and having an awesome experience several times, they low balled me on a ring they had given me more for every time. Definitely wont be doing business with them again!

I went in the there and wanted to cash in on gold bracelet. When the young kid was testing he was pressing so hard on one of the gold balls in the bracelet, broked it, and told me that he didnt like my attitude, and wasnt suppose to help at all! Very rude, and nasty people! I will try to stay away from that place, and i dont recomend to go there with gold. They brake your stuff and then calling it accident!!!!
