Reopened my savings account today(it was closed due to inactivity) and Chelsea was great! Super friendly, efficient and quick with the process. Chelsea did a good job at explaining the benefits and options Community Choice offers. Definitely recommend!

I just switched to Community Choice and set up a new account today on the advice of my significant other. Kaylah helped me establish my new account and she was amazing from start to finish. When buying a car I knew that I wanted to use my Credit Union. That s why I went to the livonia branch and was preapproved for a car loan, but when I went to the car dealership and told them that I was preapproved they tried to get me to sign their paperwork to do a indirect loan through the credit union. Which is something that I have never wanted and didn t sound right, so I took it to LaAsia Lockhart at the Livonia location and she did a great job of going through everything and helping me get through the process. I did a direct loan through the credit union and was able to also get the gap insurance. Which is a great deal because the car dealership wanted $1000 and the credit unions is only $499 with other great benefits included. This is my second car loan with the credit union and hopefully I won t need one for a while, but I will definitely be using them for my next one.

Went in on 7/17, and was helped by Tony and Elizabeth. They were very helpful in answering questions and helping with downloading the community app and logging in. We went to this branch because we wanted to open a business account with community, however, the branch we were at earlier was not as helpful as the Livonia branch. I will recommend this branch over any other one.

Took away my big rewards to give to other people they raised how much they give and after I have been a loyal customer for years they took it away from me and claim that its better. How ridiculous I used to recommend this institution and now I am looking into leaving. Very disappointed

I would likely rate them higher but due to the recent change to Get Big Rewards I just cant. In a redistribution of wealth move they took away the qualifiers I used to have that earned me the top status in an attempt to control how I spend my money. If I choose to control how I spend my own money, I lose the rewards I used to qualify for in the old program. They seemed dumbfounded that I dont wish to change how I spend my own money to accommodate their new program. Why can I not continue to qualify with the old standards? Said standards included what earn money to begin with to give back. To qualify you must use their cards a number of times per month. My usage is 0 times and has been for years. They suggest silly things like buying a drink daily on the way to work. Well I work from home. They also switched from Visa to Mastercard, now I cant use their card at Costco to gain transactions if I wanted to, Costco takes Visa only, brilliant move. Its wonderful so many more people qualify while Ive been shafted and the reward taken away. DFCU got too big for their own good. It appears the same is happening to Community Choice now. All the mergers have made them arrogant and they need to correct course. Ill be looking for a new credit union I think. One that might value me as a customer rather than give my reward to someone else excluding me in the process.

I am a newer member and went into the Livonia branch. I was greeted warmly and La Asia assured my husband and I with opening up our bank account. She was extremely personable and professional. She was able to keep the conversation flowing while throughly educating us on all the benefits and resources that were provided with our credit union membership. She wasn t pushy at all but let us know that she could look into the refinance of our vehicle and help us build our credit. We have been back to see her 3x in the last two weeks. I have never experienced banking or customer service like this in all my banking years. I would definitely recommend this place 10/10.

Very disappointed in the service at this Livonia location. The last two times I have been to this branch have been very unpleasant and very unaccomadating and the tell was very rude and talking down to me (same teller both times). I was very polite and kept my composure at the credit union, but thought I would share my frustration here. I would not recommend this credit union and I will be canceling all my account and switching to another bank.

If you go to Community Choice, you know a few things. First of all, they are unlike any other financial institution period. Since transferring, I ve never needed to hold an account elsewhere. In six years, I ve never filled out a deposit slip here. Haven t even taken my debit card out. Each member is waited on by only one other individual. It s literally as personable as possible. You re going to get better service here than you would at a gas station, grocery store, and especially another bank or credit union. It s honestly insane that people still get upset with the lovely staff here considering how above and beyond they go, but I guess that s bound to happen when you coddle and spoil your customers to such an extreme degree. Like I said, most banks require completed deposit slips. Then, you wait in line, talk to someone that s behind glass, and God forbid you re unprepared even slightly. Here, they do ALL the work! And kindly, with a smile, the exact opposite approach you ll be met with anywhere else. They look up your account for you, literally everything. Don t know your account number but have your ID? No problem! My go-to branch is undoubtedly a pillar of the community it s address places it in. It s the Mecca for individuals accustomed to this level of service and avoidant towards online e-banking. There s no reality where your expressed needs won t be met and then some. So a huge, extremely gigantic thank you to every teller that keeps this place running seamlessly.

I was given information to set up an account from my other bank to pay a credit card. The process failed twice. No one was able to help resolve this. I called back to make a payment. I gave my banks routing/account number. After being told that everything was all set and payment is in, I get a phone call today (a week later) and was told I need to make a payment. I said I already made it, they confirmed it was marked in the notes but they never processed it. so now they need my banking information again, and I said where is the information I gave last time? very frustrating. I am on vacation with my family and wont be in town until next week. The lady told me that I need to look up my information now and call back to give it to them. I said where was the information I gave you? she said they dont have it. I said Im out of town and dont have access to my routing/account number. she said you need to get the information and contact us back or we will call you. I went over to Chase and it has been nothing but great experience. I have had several other issues with them. One of them was when I went to close my daughters accounts and pull the money and they didnt even need my ID or anything to process this. I gave the account number and they handed me their money. This was concerning with their security process with handling accounts/funds.

La Asia was absolutely wonderful very quick with requests and gave helpful suggestions to make my experience easier and made sure I wouldn t have to make extra trips! She was extremely knowledgeable and personable though the two or three hours my fiancé and I were there. She made a stressful day easier. I enjoyed her customer service very much!

La Asia Lockhart was an amazing help as she guided me through re-setting up my e-banking. She explained all of the options I have that could earn me rewards. Also she set me up with a new ATM card that I thought I would have to wait for in the mail. She was kind and patient and helped me through my frustration of e-banking.

Secondly, my experience with Representative La Asia was absolutely wonderful. She assisted, in answering in depth all my questions & concerns. I was already nervous, trying to open up a new checking & saving account, after my former accounts were compromised. Dealing with a Representative that knew what to do was delightful. She would update the progression & process of what was being done step-by-step. That made me comfortable in the process. The power was out at my bank location so I was recommended to the Farmington location where I was assisted by Ben, one of the tellers. I had such a wonderful experience today with La Asia! I went in to the bank to deposited money to make my car payment. She educated me on my options of financing through community choice credit union verses the financial company I was already used me in efforts to save me money. Absolutely floored with the level of service received at Community Choice Credit Union and Personal Advisor Samuel Marsh. I was looking into refinancing 2 auto loans and a mortgage. I received great information and suggestions, I did go ahead with an auto refi loan and within 2 days the loan was closed and payoffs sent. Within 2 business days, I have confirmation that 2 of the payoffs have gone through, and I expect notice on the third in the next day or so. Exceptionally quick and friendly service. Highly recommend both Samuel Marsh and Community Choice.

Been a member about 15 years. Recently had to open a trust for my fathers estate. My bank had no idea how to put it together nor were they interested in even trying. So I went to Community Choice. They took the time to put the entire thing together, notarized the documents and faxed everything to the other parties. Couldn t be happier with with Holly, Megan and the rest of the staff!!!

Stopped in today to handle quite a large amount of transactions and adjustments to my account after recently getting married and Debi made it an absolute breeze. I visited my Livonia 5 mile branch on Monday. I wanted some information on a personal loan and a home equity loan. I met with Megan P. What I thought would be a 15 minute inquiry turned into a 4 hour meeting. Megan worked with me the entire time, her professional attitude and he willingness to assist me through the entire process, was extremely impressive. She even worked through her lunch. Megan could have excused herself but she wanted to see this process to the end with me. I have been with Community Choice Credit Union now for over 15 years and that is because of employees like Megan who go beyond their job expectations to ensure that all my needs are continually met.
