I found a Christian Credit Union called Adelfi.
Even though I am in Michigan and they are in California..I have been with them now for a couple years...And they have ATMs all over.. My transition has went pretty smoothly..

Sue not only helped me with making a payment but also worked with their loan department so I can lower my interest from the loan that was already approved a few weeks ago. Been a member here for years, only issue we seem to have is with the phone representatives for IT issues. The person we just spoke with named Nickolas was rude and over talked us the entire conversation. We ended up hanging up and my husband drove to the branch for help. I have over 50 passwords and work on a computer all day long at my job, I am not an idiot like he made us feel. Zero problems get solved when we try and get assistance per the phone. Hire more knowledgeable and customer service friendly people please.

Horrible all around. I ve been a member since I was 16 with my first job and I never had any issues until this past year. I have had to get a new card TWICE in the past year because of they re faulty atms, and only to have them blame the issue on me. First it was that my card was too old, sure I guess. I get a new card, and I still had the same issues with it only at their atms, I ve never experienced any issues with other atms or card readers. On my new card I had a sticker, they re very common and you can find many businesses selling them. Now my card got stuck in their atm AGAIN. They tell me the only thing they can do is get me a new card and put a hold on my old one. Three days later I get a call from JAMIE in the fraud department. Horrible woman with horrible service. Threatened to call the police over a sticker on the card. Absolutely ridiculous. I do have a loan through this credit union, this is the second one and it has been atrocious the entire time. Issues with saying I m approved and then saying I m actually not so I had to go find a co-signer anyway. They ended up separating this loan into two SEPARATE loans, that they then put on my co-signers account. If you actually want to speak to a human, be prepared to wait an hour. I can safely say after all of this, do not use this credit union. Take your business elsewhere.

Very seriously considering taking my business elsewhere. I have experienced the same teller at 2 locations, Lapeer Rd and Van Slyke Rd, and have been given a hard time by her twice. The first time, I was trying to deposit $15 cash. She asked me if I was trying to deposit 1500 because she wasnt sure what the deposit slip said, and told me that I dont look like my ID. Its a cash deposit, how is there any question at all about how much Im trying to deposit Exactly the $15 in cash I sent through the drive through! The second time, I was depositing a check. Again, I was told that she didnt think that I look like my ID. There was a hold placed on the check, which isnt an issue. The being hassled about whether or not I look like my ID IS. Is this the photo from my DL that is being used? If so, I look nearly identical to it. If not, is it a photo that your institution has on file from somewhere else, and where? Ive been a customer here for something like 10 years and havent ever had a problem. That one teller has me frustrated enough to take my business elsewhere is very disappointing

BEWARE OF THIS BANK! So today I received my bank statement and it reads my account was closed due to dormant acct. Yes I didnt do much with this account, its savings. So I call, inquire where is ALL of my money that was in my account. It wasnt much, but still. Their reply was and I quote its a dormant acct so there was a fee. Everything in my account!! They kept it! And if I want to talk to a manager about it, I have to go in person, not over the phone. I only live an hour away and Im pretty sure this bank is keeping my money regardless.

I just want to SIMPLY PAY OFF MY LOAN. I called to try to pay over the phone. They don t take debit mastercard, WHAT? It s the only card i have. Then they tried telling me to go online & pay it that way. I cant even locate my account number. The biggest hassle for something that should be so simple. Cant take it out of my bank account because who knows why. They have no problem taking out my monthly payments so i don t get why i cant SIMPLY PAY IT OFF. never again will i loan through this company. DUMB just DUMB.

I have been a member with Financial Plus Credit Union for 8 years now. I have been happy up to a certain point but I have realized that they operate more as a bank than a credit union. I havent been treated like a member and at the end, they were willing to take my money but not offer me any services that credit unions normally offer. Needless to say, I closed my account. Beware.

Normally I would give them five out five stars but after today I wish I could give them one. I had to make a phone call to the manager regarding my account and when answered he was extremely rude and unprofessional when I told him the reason for my call he s response was okay like why are you calling what s your point. Then when I tried to explain that I did in fact make a payment when I told them I would he tried and say I didn t and that s why there was a block on my account. Because they didn t pay attention to the payment that was made then when I asked about putting it in my notes about my next payment he cut me off and continued to say it was every two weeks when in fact it s either every two weeks or out of one check as long as it equals the agreed amount within the month. After today I can not wait to be done with this bank and will not be recommending this bank to anyone I know. I m sorry but as long as you re a manger you should be professional at all times

I used to love this place, its where I got my very first accounts and loans. Now though----the more they have expanded their branches and services, the more awful they have become to deal with. Phone hold times are in excess of 30 minutes the last few times Ive called, regardless of time of day. Services have gone severely downhill, accessibility has gone downhill. I kept this bank as my primary even when I moved to California several years ago, thinking since everythings online now it wouldnt matter. But now all my dealings with them are such a pain in the butt, that Ive been seriously considering pulling all my money from them (and probably will soon), which is a shame since Ive been with them so long.

This credit union should be investigating by state attorneys office. My partner and I purchased a pre owned vehicle thru lafantain Buick Cadillac and was told this credit union out of flint would approve a loan for the vehicle. The first problem was that this credit union removes the payment from your account before the payment due date that was our first surprise . Then when we traded the vehicle in for another vehicle at a different dealership and we were so happy not to have them service our loan anymore we used their online payoff to get the balance owed signed all the paperwork and two weeks later find that there was still 105 dollars owed on the loan. now they are hounding my partner day and night and sending several notices that he must pay this or it will be a bad mark on his credit.We will NEVER do business with this credit union again.You need to beware before you use them for any loans!!!

Best Credit Union or Bank Ive ever belonged too. I have used Dort Federal, Elga, Huntington, etc and this is the only place I keep coming back too (3 times to be exact lol) I had a car loan through FP and they were awesome, they offered multiple convenient ways to pay the payment. They are super friendly, I love their online mobile app and I havent had one rude representative when speaking with the call center. I dont plan to leave FP again, I finally got my Husband to make the switch because we couldnt stand Dort Federal and how our money kept disappearing from our account! So now I am happy we left DF and are back at FP!

The worst, I got a check, they said it might take 10 years to clear, wow, fraud department a joke, now they are telling me spend it, but it might not be good, been there a dozen times to be done with it. They blow you off, how can they clear a check and then tell you it might be bad in 10 years, wow, Im changing credit unions real soon,

Im a long-standing member of this credit union. I have several accounts with different banks and credit unions. These people play with your money, with fees and holding large sums of money for ridiculous periods Of time. They are extremely unhelpful whenever you want to call as well, if you can get through.

I have been on the phone holding 3 times in excess of 15 minutes trying to get a live person so I can get my loan payoff information. Sure does speak wonders about this institution! Glad itll be paid off so I dont deal with this place again. On hold person says loans take less than 10 minutes - Yup Ive been on hold way more than that.
