**UPDATE** It seems the text line and the actual staff there are on two different pages. In shop they will tell you theyre interested and to bring your item(s) in when you tell them about them. The text line guy will tell you he doesnt want it which can definitely be frustrating. When you inform him that his staff said otherwise he brushes it off and sends you a flyer....also not the best place to bring your coins either. I had high hopes for this place too as a longevity place to go...Very disappointed. Oh by the way any one with an Xbox one or one S dont waste your time they dont take them....yeah I know trust me.

Just want to say that right off the bat the staff was extremely nice and friendly. Pawned my Rolex, got a great price and they sealed it tightly right in front of me. Customer service is incomparable!!!! I went in with some gift cards and they gave me 80% for a prepaid credit card and 70% for a prime card. I know that when I go in with something I spent my hard-earned money on I definitely dont want to accept 30 to 50% if Im having a hard time and have to sell it. Hi, I just wanted to say that, I have been to this location on a couple different occasions and every single visit, I am kindly greeted and asked either what I am looking to sell/pawn or what I may be looking to purchase and every single staff member has been exceptionally nice, polite, and pleasant. Not to mention that on every item or gift card I have ever sold at this location I have received a much more favorable price than any and all of the other means of selling. Thererfore I give this place 5 out of 5 stars for customer service fair and reasonable offers on goods and gift cards, also this is the only place anywhere that I am aware of since the coinstar gift card buying machines disapeared that are willing to pay more than 50% of the cards value. Of course it depends on the type of card and what store it is for, is what dictates the percentage offered. But they offer up to 80% depending on the store it is for. I believe this is by far the best pawn shop in the greater Boston area, and the location is great right off the Davis square stop on the red line. I would recommend this store any day without hesitation to anyone in search of where to sell or pawn there goods or gift cards I hope you dont just take my word for it and go down there and see for yourself.

I showed up at 4:50, after driving 35 mins to get there on a Sunday. I explained that I could really use the cash and would like to sell an Item. The guy behind the glass said Sorry we are closed, we close at 4:45 and wouldnt take my business. Thanks for the help.......! The next day I returned to the shop and sold my Item. The clerk STILL showed zero remorse for the cold manor in which I was treated...... Today is one week later (and one week from my negative review). The shop has my personal cell number for security and legal reasons only as I made a transaction. Since writing this negative review someone from the shop has texted me and threatened to sue me if I did not take this review down (classy). I will never do business there again and I suggest you dont either! So in a nut shell: not only was I treated poorly but I have been threatened with a law suit because of writing an unfavorable review.

Richard (Combat Veteran) We all heard of the saying When it rains it pours. Ive been living this reality in the past several months. Im a Veteran with multiple mental health issues including PTSD. This past week Im in dire need of financial assistance so that I dont lose my car, home, & provide food for my love ones. Ive been losing my mind & even contemplating suicide to just escape it all. Came across this place while trying to get the number for cash point, after reading a few reviews about the great staff and highest offers I decided to check it out rather then heading to cashpoint like usual. I was glad I did, they offered almost double what cash point would normally try to offer and we didnt need to haggle at all, we agreed on a fair price for both right away and the staff was indeed great. Ill be heading here to do my business now rather then have to haggle to attempt to get even a remotely fair price and not totally screwed like cashpoint likes to do giving you all their lines. shipping, ebay, 40 % of the lowest sale even if it was one time 4 years ago, I mean I get its pawn but they are no where near fair like LBC, private parking also rather then circle the block for a space. I would suggest everyone give them a try !

Definitely the best pawn shop I have been to. I started coming to this LBC Boutique store prob about 4-5 years ago I haven t been anywhere else. The have the most highest loans, they give you good $ for your jewelry. Gold is in a all time high now. It s also a good investment if for say something happens and you need $ quick. They also buy and sell tech stuff,clothes they are very high end style with a reasonable price s. Danny and his staff members work as a team.I recently just purchased a nice gold chain, a Saint Anthony pendant. I am paying off the ring I put on lay way. One thing about LBC IS THIS: if you see and line it you don t have to buy that day, I am just give you all a tip. But it cause if you wait not even 2 hours Denise (staff member) informed me it will be gone. Cause if you like it imagine how many others that have viewed it 2 hours it s gone. LBC gets the goods so grab then pay later it s woth it!! The have layaways available to you. You will then have 3 months. What a feeling it is to work hard then reward yourself. Danny always moves his stuff quickly. I haven t even returned to my family friends business he is also a jeweler. This staff here go above and beyond so you can look sweet in that nice gold chain. Even if times are tough they help you get the most for your money, honestly the juice is not that high. Stop in say hello to the crew.
